Special Intentions Prayers from the Homepage:

Prayer for Job/Career (cont.)...to work hard in the spirit of penance in order thereby to atone for my sins; to labor conscientiously, putting devotion to duty before my own inclinations; to labor with thankfulness and joy, considering it an honor to employ and develop by my labor the gifts I have received from Almighty God; to work with order, peace, moderation and patience, without shrinking from weariness and difficulties; to work above all with a pure intention and with detachment fom self, having always before my eyes the hour of death and the accounting which I must render of time ill spent, of talents ill employed, of good undone, and of my empty pride in success which is so fatal to the work of God.

ALL for Jesus, ALL though Mary, ALL in imitation of YOU, good ST. JOSEPH!

Prayer for the Sick (cont.)...may Your life-giving powers flow into every cell of (his/her) body and into the depths of (his/her) soul, cleansing, purifying, restoring hjm/her to wholeness, and strenght for service in Your Kingdom. Amen.

O GOD, who as the only source of health and healing, the spirit of calm and the central peace of this universe, grant unto (him/her) such a consciousness of Your indwelling and surounding presence, that (he/she) may permit You to give (him/her) health and strenght and peace, through JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. Amen. (Permission granted by Apostolic Publishing Co., The Catholic Devotional)

Prayer for Marriage/Relationships (cont.)...Help us never to hurt and grieve one another. Help us to share all our work, all our hopes, all our dreams, all our successes and all our failures, all our sorrows and all our joys. Help us to have no secrets from one another, so that we may be truly one.

Keep us always true to one another, and grant that all the years ahead may draw us ever closer to one another. Grant that nothing may ever come between us, and nothing may ever make us drift apart. Help us always to live in You so that our love may grow perfect in Your love, for You are the God whose Name is Love.

This we ask for YOUR LOVE'S SAKE. Amen.

From CATHOLICITY September, 2013  Prayer Message of Founder Bud McFarlane

October 1, Tuesday. Saint Therese of Lisieux, and my birthday patron saint. What is a bud, after all, other than a little flower? You can start a nine day novena on Saturday, September 23. Ask for something big and miraculous! Here is my favorite prayer to her, (besides "Help!"):

"O Little Therese of the Child Jesus, please pick a rose for me from the heavenly garden and send it to me as a message of love. O Little Flower of Jesus, ask God today to grant the favors I now place with confidence in your hands (State Your Request). Saint Therese, help me to always believe as you did in God's great love for me so that I might imitate your Little Way each day, Amen."

A Prayer for our Fallen Troops

Help us to remember on this day Lord, the bravery of the men and women who fought and died to protect our country. Grant that our memory of their sacrifices may spur us to avoid as best we can future wars which may call on other young men and women to make similar sacrifices.  May we come to see that the costs of war are enormous and that it should be avoided whenever possible. We beg this in the name of Jesus the Lord.  Amen.
