A Merry Heart

Have A Wonderful & Blessed Monday!!! A Merry Heart!!!

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

Not only does the Lord tell us when we are happy it is good for us physically, research has been done in the medical world that has proven it to be true. I love when the world can't prove the Lord wrong. When they have to stand up and say "yes the Lord is right again". Cheerfulness of spirit has a great influence upon the body, and much contributes to the health and welfare of it; a heart full of spiritual joy, and peace from Jesus Christ is what will give you a healthy and very happy heart. This heart will show the Light unto the world that will show Jesus unto all and you will be asked, "what is different about you"?

A broken spirit drieth the bones; a spirit broken with sorrow, whether on spiritual or temporal accounts; as it weakens the nerves, it dries up the marrow in the bones,dries out the body, and reduces it to a skeleton: the joy or grief of the mind, those passions of the soul, have a very great influence upon the body, either for its good or hurt. Sin destroys a merry heart, for a child of God cannot be happy out of fellowship with His Father. David often described a broken spirit caused by sin. It dried him up, and miserably tormented him from the inside out. He spent his time crying and grieving, rather than rejoicing and living. So the simple first step to a merry heart and good health is to live a holy, blameless life happy in the Lord.

Discontentment will ruin health, for all you can think about is what you do not have, even when you have much. Every time you get something you will want more. Discontentment will ruin health, for all you can think about is what you do not have, even when you have much.If you allow envy, bitterness, lust, resentment, or anger in your life, you are begging for the judgment of God and serious health problems. These wicked thoughts will pursue you day and night; they will not let you even sleep in peace. If you do not forgive others, God will not forgive you, and you will dry up your health by such an evil, wicked disposition. Now I am not saying everyone with a terrible illness it has been caused because of this. Many strong, loving, content Christians have been hit by awful illness. However if you are bitter, jealous, all the time it will effect your health.

But if you are joyful, loving, thankful, peaceful, forgiving, and full of praise, you will find the blessing of God and a soothing balm for your body. If you make the Lord the joy of your life, the forefront of your life you will have a constant reason to be merry, regardless of circumstances. Your nights will be peaceful and pleasant, because your heart, soul, and mind are relaxed.

Psalm 32:10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusteth in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

Psalm 32:11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, ye righteous: and shout for joy, all ye that are upright in heart.

Proverbs 15:12 A scorner loveth not one that reproveth him: neither will he go unto the wise.

Proverbs 15:13 A merry heart maketh a cheerful countenance: but by sorrow of the heart the spirit is broken.

Proverbs 15:14 The heart of him that hath understanding seeketh knowledge: but the mouth of fools feedeth on foolishness.

Ephesians 1:16 Cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;

Ephesians 1:17 That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:

Ephesians 1:18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 15:14 And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

Romans 15:15 Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

Love,

Cheryl

COME WITH HAPPY FACES

Come with happy faces,

To the place of prayer;

Jesus now is waiting;

We shall find Him there.

With a grateful spirit,

Now our voices raise;

Thank Him for His goodness,

In a song of praise.

Come with happy faces;

Jesus rose today;

Leave the world behind us,

Seek the narrow way.

With a grateful spirit,

Now our voices raise;

Thank Him for His goodness,

In a song of praise.

Come with happy faces,

Come with hearts sincere;

God our thoughts is reading,

He is ever near.

With a grateful spirit,

Now our voices raise;

Thank Him for His goodness,

In a song of praise.

Come with happy faces,

Learn the words of truth;

Jesus loves the children;

Trust Him in our youth.

With a grateful spirit,

Now our voices raise;

Thank Him for His goodness,

In a song of praise.
