Here are some e mails of the strong sentiments & Prayers we have received from people everywhere concerning the devastation & suffering wrought by Japan's growing disaster caused by the recent quake, tsunami & resulting nuclear reactor meltdown threat...
Prayer for the people of Japan
The waves of death rose about me;
the torrents of destruction assailed me;
the snares of the grave surrounded me;
the traps of death confronted me.
The earth reeled and rocked;
The mountains were shaken to their base.
The bed of the ocean was revealed;
The foundations of the world were laid bare.
From on high he reached me and seized me;
He drew me forth from the mighty waters.
From Psalm 18
Lord God,
Creator of the earth, sea, and sky,
be present to the people of Japan
in their time of need.
Receive those who have died into your loving embrace,
and grant their families comfort and peace.
May those who have lost homes and livelihood feel your love
through the help of friends and strangers.
Give them courage and hope
as they rebuild their communities.
We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, truly present in the Holy Eucharist, I consecrate my body and soul to be entirely one with Your Heart, being sacrificed at every instant on all the altars of the world and giving praise to the Father, pleading for the coming of His Kingdom. Please receive this humble offering of myself. Use me as You will for the glory of the Father and the salvation of souls. Most Holy Mother of God, never let me be separated from your Divine Son. Please defend and protect me as your special child. Amen."
