FAITH AND OBEDIENCE

Posted by Cheryl on August 22, 2014 at 9:15 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning~~~Have A Wonderful Day~~~Faith & Obedience; Faith and Obedience Need To Go Hand In Hand:  Faith and obedience are great companions heading to do the same process, to please and glorify the Lord. You cannot have one without the other. They grow simultaneously as they are practiced, but will wither if neglected. If we back away from our faith and our obedience we will find out quickly that our walks will fall apart very fast. It won't take long for the light to leave and dark to sneak in. All to often we put down the armour and take a break from the Lord we feel we need a "vacation" and we leave our Bible home and our prayer time and get away. I am so grateful the Lord doesn't go on vacation.

Elijah was a man with both of these qualities. He believed God and consistently responded in obedience. When the Lord said to show himself to King Ahab, he didn't permit fear to stop him. He had learned through experience that the Father was faithful and trustworthy. We have to learn the Lord is our protector, we have to be concerned more about pleasing the Lord and less about fearing the world, and those who dispise Our Lord.

Fear will destory our faith when we begin to doubt that God's way is really best. If we allow worry to gain control in our minds, we'll respond by refusing to do what the Lord says, which is disobedience. The result will be loss of faith and disobedience, which actually which will mean we just chose the path of unbelief and sin.

Satan loves our fear and disobedience because it keeps us from having complete faith and complete obedience in our Lord. We can't believe the Lord for great things in one area of our life if we are allowing sin in another. Self-examination is essential in the walk of faith, it will show us what we have compromised by allowing sin in our heart and mind?

Great faith begins with small steps. When you choose to follow God's Word, an ever-increasing cycle of faith and obedience will begin. Don't let fear or sin rob you of the great adventure He's planned for your life.

Our Lesson: Who has a better track record for choosing the right path—you or God? Believe Him!

1Kings 18:1 And it came to pass after many days, that the word of the LORD came to Elijah in the third year, saying, Go, shew thyself unto Ahab; and I will send rain upon the earth.

1Kings 18:2 And Elijah went to shew himself unto Ahab. And there was a sore famine in Samaria.

1Kings 18:3 And Ahab called Obadiah, which was the governor of his house. (Now Obadiah feared the LORD greatly:

1Kings 18:4 For it was so, when Jezebel cut off the prophets of the LORD, that Obadiah took an hundred prophets, and hid them by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water.)

1Kings 18:5 And Ahab said unto Obadiah, Go into the land, unto all fountains of water, and unto all brooks: peradventure we may find grass to save the horses and mules alive, that we lose not all the beasts.

1Kings 18:6 So they divided the land between them to pass throughout it: Ahab went one way by himself, and Obadiah went another way by himself.

1Kings 18:7 And as Obadiah was in the way, behold, Elijah met him: and he knew him, and fell on his face, and said, Art thou that my lord Elijah?

1Kings 18:8 And he answered him, I am: go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here.

1Kings 18:9 And he said, What have I sinned, that thou wouldest deliver thy servant into the hand of Ahab, to slay me?

1Kings 18:10 As the LORD thy God liveth, there is no nation or kingdom, whither my lord hath not sent to seek thee: and when they said, He is not there; he took an oath of the kingdom and nation, that they found thee not.

1Kings 18:11 And now thou sayest, Go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here.

1Kings 18:12 And it shall come to pass, as soon as I am gone from thee, that the Spirit of the LORD shall carry thee whither I know not; and so when I come and tell Ahab, and he cannot find thee, he shall slay me: but I thy servant fear the LORD from my youth.

1Kings 18:13 Was it not told my lord what I did when Jezebel slew the prophets of the LORD, how I hid an hundred men of the LORD'S prophets by fifty in a cave, and fed them with bread and water?

1Kings 18:14 And now thou sayest, Go, tell thy lord, Behold, Elijah is here: and he shall slay me.

1Kings 18:15 And Elijah said, As the LORD of hosts liveth, before whom I stand, I will surely shew myself unto him to day.

Romans 1:5 By whom we have received grace and apostleship, for obedience to the faith among all nations, for his name:

Romans 1:6 Among whom are ye also the called of Jesus Christ:

Romans 1:7 To all that be in Rome, beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 1:8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

2Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

2Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

2Corinthians 5:9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

Romans 5:19 For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

FAITH IS THE VICTORY

Encamped along the hills of light,

Ye Christian soldiers, rise,

And press the battle ere the night

Shall veil the glowing skies.

Against the foe in vales below

Let all our strength be hurled;

Faith is the victory, we know,

That overcomes the world.

Faith is the victory!

Faith is the victory!

Oh, glorious victory,

That overcomes the world.

His banner over us is love,

Our sword the Word of God;

We tread the road the saints above

With shouts of triumph trod.

By faith, they like a whirlwind’s breath,

Swept on o’er every field;

The faith by which they conquered death

Is still our shining shield. On every hand the foe we find

Drawn up in dread array;

Let tents of ease be left behind,

And onward to the fray.

Salvation’s helmet on each head,

With truth all girt about,

The earth shall tremble ’neath our tread,

And echo with our shout. To him that overcomes the foe,

White raiment shall be giv’n;

Before the angels he shall know

His name confessed in heav’n.

Then onward from the hills of light,

Our hearts with love aflame,

We’ll vanquish all the hosts of night,

In Jesus’ conqu’ring name.

MY FAITH HAS FOUND A RESTING PLACE

My faith has found a resting place,

Not in device or creed;

I trust the ever living One,

His wounds for me shall plead.

I need no other argument,

I need no other plea,

It is enough that Jesus died,

And that He died for me.

Enough for me that Jesus saves,

This ends my fear and doubt;

A sinful soul I come to Him,

He’ll never cast me out.

My heart is leaning on the Word,

The living Word of God,

Salvation by my Savior’s Name,

Salvation through His blood.

My great Physician heals the sick,

The lost He came to save;

For me His precious blood He shed,

For me His life He gave.

FRUITFULNESS

Posted by Cheryl on August 20, 2014 at 8:35 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!! Fruitfulness; How to Grow Fruit:  As we carry out the Lord’s plans through the power of His Spirit, our lives will have true meaning, and two characteristics will become increasingly evident.

The following are the characteristics:

Truly Treasuring God's word in our hearts. When we truly value something, we think of it often, Pick it up and study it often, we learn all about it that we can. This we will also do about the word of God, we will study it, read it, learn it and want to be in church to hear what the Preacher has to tell us of what he knows. We will also want to learn more of Our Heavenly Father, his character, his plans, his promises. Keep in mind the right way to learn of the Father is to read his book that he left for us.

The next is we will need to adorn ourselves with kindness and truth. These two virtues should be with us constantly on our Christian walk. God’s truth has the power to expose ungodly attitudes and behaviors. When this happens, the presence of kindness helps to protect relationships from damage; it can also prevent discord and division in churches. The Lord wants us to speak the truth to one another but to temper it with loving compassion. We should be able to approach someone that is not walking right, but approach in a loving way, not in a brash offensive way.

The Christian life is filled with many tempatations, obstales, and difficulties, and detours. We need to stay on course. We need to stay in the word, in fellowship, and in prayer. The enemy would have us all fall. Please keep on your armour and be prepared for the fight. We are here to glorify the Lord, when things get tough get on the Lords side and stay focused.

Our Lesson: Remember The Lord never promised this life would be easy. He promised to be with us!!!!

Proverbs 3:1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

Proverbs 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

Proverbs 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

John 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

John 5:21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.

John 5:22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

John 5:23 That all men should honour the Son, even as they honour the Father. He that honoureth not the Son honoureth not the Father which hath sent him.

John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life.

John 5:25 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live.

1Peter 4:12 Beloved, think it not strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened unto you:

1Peter 4:13 But rejoice, inasmuch as ye are partakers of Christ's sufferings; that, when his glory shall be revealed, ye may be glad also with exceeding joy.

1Peter 4:14 If ye be reproached for the name of Christ, happy are ye; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth upon you: on their part he is evil spoken of, but on your part he is glorified.

1Peter 4:15 But let none of you suffer as a murderer, or as a thief, or as an evildoer, or as a busybody in other men's matters.

1Peter 4:16 Yet if any man suffer as a Christian, let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.

1Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?

1Peter 4:18 And if the righteous scarcely be saved, where shall the ungodly and the sinner appear?

1Peter 4:19 Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.

PROMISE AND PRAYER

Posted by Cheryl on August 19, 2014 at 8:05 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!! A Precious promise and Prayer:

A PRECIOUS PROMISE

Galations 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

This Scripture has reminded many over many years to have a servant heart. Do not give up , do not get weary and give up. When doing good most often times Satan puts so much pressure for you to quit but you shall reap your harvest if you do not quit.

Sometimes doing the RIGHT thing is not always easy, but it works out for our good. This verse lets me know that when I make the right decisions for my life even though at the time it may be tough I still need to do whats right. I can rejoice because when it’s my time I will reap the good that is due to me if I do not give up or "faint". They that sow in tears shall reap in Joy.

Psalm 126:3 The LORD hath done great things for us; whereof we are glad.

Psalm 126:4 Turn again our captivity, O LORD, as the streams in the south.

Psalm 126:5 They that sow in tears shall reap in joy.

Psalm 126:6 He that goeth forth and weepeth, bearing precious seed, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him.

THE LORD JESUS CHRIST IS SO GOOD!!!!

PRECIOUS PRAYER

John 12:27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

John 12:28 Father, glorify thy name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

John 12:29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spake to him.

John 12:30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

As we see here in John and in other places Jesus himself prayed unto the Lord. If Jesus prayed that speaks volumes to me and should to all that it is extra important that it is even more important for us in the flesh should put alot of time into prayer. As we see Father God answered Jesus and he also answers us.

BENEATH THE CROSS OF JESUS

Beneath the cross of Jesus I fain would take my stand,

The shadow of a mighty rock within a weary land;

A home within the wilderness, a rest upon the way,

From the burning of the noontide heat, and the burden of the day.

O safe and happy shelter, O refuge tried and sweet,

O trysting place where Heaven’s love and Heaven’s justice meet!

As to the holy patriarch that wondrous dream was given,

So seems my Savior’s cross to me, a ladder up to heaven.

There lies beneath its shadow but on the further side

The darkness of an awful grave that gapes both deep and wide

And there between us stands the cross two arms outstretched to save

A watchman set to guard the way from that eternal grave.

Upon that cross of Jesus mine eye at times can see

The very dying form of One Who suffered there for me;

And from my stricken heart with tears two wonders I confess;

The wonders of redeeming love and my unworthiness.

I take, O cross, thy shadow for my abiding place;

I ask no other sunshine than the sunshine of His face;

Content to let the world go by to know no gain or loss,

My sinful self my only shame, my glory all the cross.

HIGHER GROUND

I’m pressing on the upward way,

New heights I’m gaining every day;

Still praying as I’m onward bound,

“Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.”

Lord, lift me up and let me stand,

By faith, on Heaven’s table land,

A higher plane than I have found;

Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.

My heart has no desire to stay

Where doubts arise and fears dismay;

Though some may dwell where those abound,

My prayer, my aim, is higher ground.

I want to live above the world,

Though Satan’s darts at me are hurled;

For faith has caught the joyful sound,

The song of saints on higher ground.

I want to scale the utmost height

And catch a gleam of glory bright;

But still I’ll pray till Heav’n I’ve found,

“Lord, plant my feet on higher ground.”

a good soldier

Good Morning~~~Have A Wonderful Day~~~On Duty; Be A Good Soldier:  A Christian is called to be a wise and ready soldierbincluding watching over those working alongside them. We are to be concerned over more than just ourselves. We are not just to be concerned with what "I am going to get" we are to be concerned with "I want to please the Lord" and protecting the brethren around me.

Worship communities divide over both important and trivial issues.I have heard of churches dividing over wall colors, how many bathrooms to put in the building, when these issues are causing problems we really need to take a long hard look at what is wrong at ourselves and realize how selfish, and petty we are. Sadly, most splits are ugly battles between people who ought to be fighting side-by-side against a common Enemy. As I have said before we are very spoiled here in America and it is making us very selfish, and in many cases useless to the ministry of our Lord. We need to take a look at what the Brethren are going through in opther countries and be thankful for what we have here.

A good Soldier should be willing to help a Brother and Sister caught up in sin. A graceful correction is something we need to do when speaking to fellow believers ensnared in sin. However when we do this we need to keep this no further than you and the person hurting. Just as the men and women in a combat unit guard each other, we are to care for our spiritual brothers and sisters.Our standing orders are to reflect Jesus to the world, beginning with each other. Our First duty is to spread the gospel to tell the lost and dying the greatest news ever told. The free gift of salvation.

Our Lesson: While these are things believers should do for one another, a servant-soldier's first priority should be having a godly attitude. Respond to other spiritual warriors as Christ would. To keep your heart and mind right, you must be in God's Word—reading, studying, and making His principles your own. People when looking at you must see your different before you ever say your a born-again child of the King of kings

2Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

2Timothy 2:23 But foolish and unlearned questions avoid, knowing that they do gender strifes.

2Timothy 2:24 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient,

2Timothy 2:25 In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

2Timothy 2:26 And that they may recover themselves out of the snare of the devil, who are taken captive by him at his will.

1Thessalonians 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

1Thessalonians 5:12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;

1Thessalonians 5:13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.

1Thessalonians 5:14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

1Thessalonians 5:15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

1Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore.

1Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

1Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

A CHARGE TO KEEP

A charge to keep I have,

A God to glorify,

A never-dying soul to save,

And fit it for the sky.

To serve the present age,

My calling to fulfill:

O may it all my powers engage

To do my Master’s will!

Arm me with jealous care,

As in Thy sight to live;

And O Thy servant, Lord, prepare

A strict account to give!

Help me to watch and pray,

And on Thyself rely,

Assured, if I my trust betray,

I shall for ever die.

TO THE WORK

To the work! To the work! We are servants of God;

Let us follow the path that our Master has trod;

With the balm of His counsel our strength to renew,

Let us do with our might what our hands find to do.

Toiling on, toiling on,

Toiling on, toiling on,

Let us hope and trust,

Let us watch and pray,

And labor till the Master comes.

To the work! To the work! Let the hungry be fed;

To the fountain of life let the weary be led;

In the cross and its banner our glory shall be,

While we herald the tidings, “Salvation is free!”

To the work! To the work! There is labor for all;

For the kingdom of darkness and error shall fall;

And the love of our Father exalted shall be,

In the loud swelling chorus, “Salvation is free!”

To the work! To the work! In the strength of the Lord,

And a robe and a crown shall our labor reward,

When the home of the faithful our dwelling shall be,

And we shout with the ransomed, “Salvation is free!”

Trust, Obey, The Lord

Good Morning~~~Have A Wonderful Day~~~Life; How Do You Look At Your Life:  Is it filled with Joy and Peace and in God's will? Or are you struggling and do you feel like you are caught in a valley and can't climb out?

Sadly, many people (I have been one of them at times) drift through life without taking hold of God’s terrific plan for them. Our Creator gives each of us the gifts, abilities, and circumstances necessary to live according to His purpose. Instead, many of us try to squeeze pleasure out of our lives where we don't belong, and not according to our Heavenly Father's plan. Straying out his will, and into forbidden territories getting us off track and into sin.

Sadly,and sinfully a number of saved individuals walk with the Lord for a time but then get off track. This happens for many reasons. Some become faint-hearted and lose the desire to endure through difficult circumstances. For others, worldly ideas and goals become distractions. Or perhaps certain people influence them to lose focus. Sports, hobbies, or simply busyness can also entice a believer and cause his heart to stray from Christ.

No matter what the cause, any life separated from the only true, and only right anchor Jesus is in danger. God offers believers a full life in Him. But the Bible teaches that Christians will not thrive if they are living apart from His Word, godly principles, and a close relationship with Him.Separated from Our Lord will only cause heartache.

Do you feel that you are walking closely with Jesus? Or have the cares of life entangled, and distracted you? Pray for wisdom as you consider these questions, and tell the Lord you desire to surrender whatever it is, apart from Him, that has your passion. Commit to pray, to read the Word, and to obey. Make your true passion be the Lord Jesus Christ and let your heart fall back in love with him, and the rest will fall into place.

Our Lesson: He never promised us an easy and perfect life; however keep in mind the world sure has nothing to make your life perfect.......

Hebrews 10:32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after ye were illuminated, ye endured a great fight of afflictions;

Hebrews 10:33 Partly, whilst ye were made a gazingstock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst ye became companions of them that were so used.

Hebrews 10:34 For ye had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that ye have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

Hebrews 10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which hath great recompence of reward.

Hebrews 10:36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise.

Hebrews 10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

Hebrews 10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

Hebrews 10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Hebrews 12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest ye be wearied and faint in your minds.

Psalm 68:18 Thou hast ascended on high, thou hast led captivity captive: thou hast received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

Psalm 68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

Psalm 68:20 He that is our God is the God of salvation; and unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Proverbs 3:8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

Proverbs 3:9 Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase:

'TIS SO SWEET TO TRUST IN JESUS

’Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,

And to take Him at His Word;

Just to rest upon His promise,

And to know, “Thus says the Lord!”

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!

How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er

Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!

O for grace to trust Him more!

O how sweet to trust in Jesus,

Just to trust His cleansing blood;

And in simple faith to plunge me

’Neath the healing, cleansing flood!

Yes, ’tis sweet to trust in Jesus,

Just from sin and self to cease;

Just from Jesus simply taking

Life and rest, and joy and peace.

I’m so glad I learned to trust Thee,

Precious Jesus, Savior, Friend;

And I know that Thou art with me,

Wilt be with me to the end.

TRUST AND OBEY

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,

What a glory He sheds on our way!

While we do His good will, He abides with us still,

And with all who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,

But His smile quickly drives it away;

Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,

Can abide while we trust and obey.

Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,

But our toil He doth richly repay;

Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,

But is blessed if we trust and obey.

But we never can prove the delights of His love

Until all on the altar we lay;

For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,

Are for them who will trust and obey.

Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet.

Or we’ll walk by His side in the way.

What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;

Never fear, only trust and obey.

Good Morning!!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!! The Lost:  In this world which, by the way gets worse and worse by the day, sin is so prevalent. You can't move a few feet without being reminded. I know many don't like to think about it , many don't think its right to talk about it, however in the Bible the Lord tells us in the last days our world will be as in the days of Noah and it certainly is.

What is even more heartbreaking is we are all sinners I am sure a sinner thats why without Jesus Christ I would go right to Hell and that is what I deserve. As christians we are to go into the world and tell others of the what Jesus did on the cross and why he did what he did. The Heavenly Father would have none go to hell. The Father sends no one to hell but people choose Hell when they reject Jesus and his free gift of salvation. The Bible tells us all people get a witness one being creation, so when people say what about the far away countries way out in no where they will have a witness. On a side note the far off places they are usually more receptive than people here in rich, spoiled America.

I can't tell you how many times my heart has been broke when out witnessing (and believe me I don't hit people over the head I do it lovingly) they scream, and say they "Don't Need Jesus or Religious Crap" I don't cry because they yelled at me; I cryed because without the gift of Salvation they will go to hell. I don't want the lost no matter who they are to reject Jesus.

What I am trying to say is if you are a Born-again Christian find away to get the message to the lost. It is good to be loving, and kind but that is not going to save them, get the gospel out kindly. Leave tracts, at the register give a tract. When you mail your bills put a tract in the envelope. Find a friend and go door to door. The lost need Jesus I have had some very bad things happen over the years and I don't wish any of them to go to Hell.

OUR LESSON: TIME IS SHORT, WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR THE LOST, BE A WITNESS, PRAY, HAND OUT TRACTS, GO OUT AND HELP A LOST PERSON FIND JESUS.

2Corinthians 6:1 We then, as workers together with him, beseech you also that ye receive not the grace of God in vain.

2Corinthians 6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

James 2:9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

James 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

Galations 3:22 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise by faith of Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

Galations 3:23 But before faith came, we were kept under the law, shut up unto the faith which should afterwards be revealed.

Galations 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Romans 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

A PASSION FOR SOULS

Give me a passion for souls, dear Lord,

A passion to save the lost;

O that Thy love were by all adored,

And welcomed at any cost.

Jesus, I long, I long to be winning

Men who are lost, and constantly sinning;

O may this hour be one of beginning

The story of pardon to tell.

Though there are dangers untold and stern

Confronting me in the way,

Willingly still would I go, nor turn,

But trust Thee for grace each day.

How shall this passion for souls be mine?

Lord, make Thou the answer clear;

Help me to throw out the old life line

To those who are struggling near.

THROW OUT THE LIFELINE

Throw out the life line across the dark wave;

There is a brother whom someone should save;

Somebody’s brother! O who then will dare

To throw out the life line, his peril to share?

Throw out the life line! Throw out the life line!

Someone is drifting away;

Throw out the life line! Throw out the life line!

Someone is sinking today.

Throw out the life line with hand quick and strong:

Why do you tarry, why linger so long?

See! he is sinking; oh, hasten today

And out with the life boat! away, then away!

Throw out the life line to danger fraught men,

Sinking in anguish where you’ve never been;

Winds of temptation and billows of woe

Will soon hurl them out where the dark waters flow.

Soon will the season of rescue be o’er,

Soon will they drift to eternity’s shore;

Haste, then, my brother, no time for delay,

But throw out the life line and save them today.

This is the life line, oh, tempest tossed men;

Baffled by waves of temptation and sin;

Wild winds of passion, your strength cannot brave,

But Jesus is mighty, and Jesus can save.

Jesus is able! To you who are driv’n,

Farther and farther from God and from Heav’n;

Helpless and hopeless, o’erwhelmed by the wave;

We throw out the life line, ’tis “Jesus can save.”

This is the life line, oh, grasp it today!

See, you are recklessly drifting away;

Voices in warning, shout over the wave,

O grasp the strong life line, for Jesus can save.

Light VS. Darkness

Posted by Cheryl on August 12, 2014 at 8:50 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning~~~Have A Wonderful Day~~~Light; Light vs Darkness: We see in the Bible--the word of God--John uses the metaphor of light and darkness to show a life in Christ verses a life in sin. I have heard Preachers use this metaphor in messages to the congregation. It is a great way to teach it; however when you look in the world look at most places of evil most are dark. Most clubs, bars, are dark very low lighting. When we invite darkness (sin) into our life there is instant conflict. Darkness and light cannot mix.

The way to keep a pure spirit in this dirty, sin-cursed world is to confess sin.The way to keep yourself clean is stay clean of what temptation can easily cause you to stumble, if it is alcohol don't be places it is easily attainable, if it is porn, stay away from places you remember having it or buying it.Whatever your sin problem was before salvation (or still is) was stay away from easy access. Get an accountability partner. PRAY to the Lord for help. Let’s be clear. We are made clean by Jesus Christ’s work on the cross. Nothing can change a redeemed believer’s identity as a Born-Again child of God. However, wrongdoing does interfere with the fellowship between us and the Lord. Left unchecked, sin can so thoroughly choke our spirit that only thin shafts of the light of Christ can squeeze through. We do not want that to be the only thing we take to heaven with.

We agree with Our Precious Heavenly Father that our actions, thoughts, or words are in violation of His law or will. While it is tempting to confess in a general sort of way—“I’m sorry if I’ve sinned against You”—that isn’t a helpful method of chasing out darkness. We must be specific about our SIN. The Lord expects that we’ll deal with sin promptly so that we are neither tarnished by it nor tempted to continue on that path.

Believers who honestly acknowledge their sin and take responsibility for it stay in right relationship with the Lord. John’s letter confirms God’s desire to cast out darkness and keep us fully in the light of His love. When darkness comes in we should be as a small child who crys when they are afraid to go to sleep in the dark. We should be afraid of darkness that the world has to offer, and stay a greart distance from it.

Our Lesson: In case you like the darkness remember if your born-again; in our eternal home HEAVEN no darkness will be, only LIGHT. AMEN COME LORD JESUS!!! ♥

1John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

1John 1:2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us [;)]

1John 1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that ye also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.

1John 1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.

1John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

1John 1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:

1John 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

1John 1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.

1John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

1John 1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.

2Corinthians 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

2Corinthians 6:15 And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath he that believeth with an infidel?

2Corinthians 6:16 And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

2Corinthians 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,

LOVE,

CHERYL

COME WE THAT LOVE THE LORD

Come, we that love the Lord,

and let our joys be known;

join in a song with sweet accord,

and thus surround the throne.

Let those refuse to sing

who never knew our God;

but children of the heavenly King

may speak their joys abroad.

The hill of Zion yields

a thousand sacred sweets

before we reach the heavenly fields,

or walk the golden streets.

Then let our songs abound,

and every tear be dry;

we're marching through Emmanuel's ground,

to fairer worlds on high.

LOYALTY TO CHRIST

From over hill and plain there comes the signal strain,

’Tis loyalty, loyalty, loyalty to Christ;

Its music rolls along, the hills take up the song,

Of loyalty, loyalty, yes, loyalty to Christ.

“On to victory! On to victory!”

Cries our great Commander, “On!”

We’ll move at His command,

We’ll soon possess the land,

Through loyalty, loyalty,

Yes, loyalty to Christ.

O hear, ye brave, the sound that moves the earth around,

’Tis loyalty, loyalty, loyalty to Christ;

Arise to dare and do, ring out the watchword true,

Of loyalty, loyalty, yes, loyalty to Christ.

Come, join our loyal throng, we’ll rout the giant wrong,

’Tis loyalty, loyalty, loyalty to Christ;

Where Satan’s banners float we’ll send the bugle note,

Of loyalty, loyalty, yes, loyalty to Christ.

The strength of youth we lay at Jesus’ feet today,

’Tis loyalty, loyalty, loyalty to Christ;

His Gospel we’ll proclaim, throughout the world’s domain,

Of loyalty, loyalty, yes, loyalty to Christ.

PROMISE & PRAYER

Good Morning~~~HAVE A BLESSED SUNDAY~~~A Precious Promise And Prayer:

A PRECIOUS PROMISE

Psalm 18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.

(A Buckler is a a round shield held by a grip and sometimes having straps through which the arm is passed. Any means of defense, protection.)

Once again another promise of the Lord to protect us who puit our trust in him. PLEASE remember He cannot lie, unlike us those in the flesh can just lie over any little ole thing our Precious Lord Jesus Christ can't lie or sin in anyway. Jesus cannot make a promise and break it. This means when we see a promise in his word don't read it and then think "sure Lord I can't believe that one" He is perfect and righteous in everyway.

A PRECIOUS PRAYER

Luke 18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

Luke 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

We see here that when we pray it doesn't have to be a ten minute prayer, it doesn't have to be flowery, it just have to be from our heart, has to be true, and not what others told us to say. NEVER pray pointing out others sin and say "I am not as sinful as my brother/sister but forgive me" pray humbly, and true.

VICTORY THRU GRACE

Conquering now and still to conquer, rideth a King in His might;

Leading the host of all the faithful into the midst of the fight;

See them with courage advancing, clad in their brilliant array,

Shouting the Name of their Leader, hear them exultingly say:

Not to the strong is the battle, not to the swift is the race,

Yet to the true and the faithful vict’ry is promised through grace.

Conquering now and still to conquer, who is this wonderful King?

Whence are the armies which He leadeth, while of His glory they sing?

He is our Lord and Redeemer, Savior and Monarch divine;

They are the stars that forever bright in His kingdom shall shine.

Conquering now and still to conquer, Jesus, Thou Ruler of all,

Thrones and their scepters all shall perish, crowns and their splendor shall fall,

Yet shall the armies Thou leadest, faithful and true to the last,

Find in Thy mansions eternal rest, when their warfare is past.

WONDERFUL WORDS OF LIFE

Sing them over again to me, wonderful words of life,

Let me more of their beauty see, wonderful words of life;

Words of life and beauty teach me faith and duty.

Beautiful words, wonderful words, wonderful words of life,

Beautiful words, wonderful words, wonderful words of life.

Christ, the blessèd One, gives to all wonderful words of life;

Sinner, list to the loving call, wonderful words of life;

All so freely given, wooing us to heaven.

Sweetly echo the Gospel call, wonderful words of life;

Offer pardon and peace to all, wonderful words of life;

Jesus, only Savior, sanctify us forever.

GREAT IS THY FAITHFULNESS

“Great is Thy faithfulness,” O God my Father,

There is no shadow of turning with Thee;

Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not

As Thou hast been Thou forever wilt be.

“Great is Thy faithfulness!” “Great is Thy faithfulness!”

Morning by morning new mercies I see;

All I have needed Thy hand hath provided—

“Great is Thy faithfulness,” Lord, unto me!

Summer and winter, and springtime and harvest,

Sun, moon and stars in their courses above,

Join with all nature in manifold witness

To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth,

Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;

Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,

Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!

A PROMISE AND PRAYER

Posted by Cheryl on August 9, 2014 at 8:25 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Blessed Saturday!!! A Precious Promise And Prayer:

A PRECIOUS PROMISE

Psalm 5:11 But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.

Psalm 5:12 For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

We whom are Born-Again, are Trusting the Lord, the Heavenly Father, have to realize the KING of kings is our Father, our Saviour, our protector. We are co-heirs with Jesus Christ.

2Corinthians 4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

2Corinthians 4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

2Corinthians 4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

We need to realize as the Children of the Mighty God, we need to behave as such. We also need to realize such things as we are in his hand; nothing can pluck us out, nothing can do anything to us without the Lord's per,ission. We need to realize this world is the very worst we will ever see.

We also need to realize as a child of the King, and being in the family of God we have chores just like in any family; we need to be about the Fathers business start the following TODAY:

GO TELL THE LOST ABOUT OUR SAVIOUR.

LIVE FOR JESUS TODAY AS IF TODAY IS YOUR LAST DAY.

PRAY DAILY FOR THE MISSIONARIES, THE PASTORS, YOUR CHILDREN, AND GRANDCHILDREN.

PRECIOUS PRAYER:

Luke 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Luke 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Luke 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

Luke 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Luke 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Luke 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

This Prayer is so important to remember as to share with the scoffers when they say there is no hell, I am going to hell with my friends we will have a huge beer party. This is a reminder when we leave this body and this world nobody will pray us into Heaven, Hell or any where else. That choice has been made. No transferring planes once we hit the destination we have chosen.

IN THE CROSS OF CHRIST I GLORY

In the cross of Christ I glory,

Towering o’er the wrecks of time;

All the light of sacred story

Gathers round its head sublime.

When the woes of life o’ertake me,

Hopes deceive, and fears annoy,

Never shall the cross forsake me,

Lo! it glows with peace and joy.

When the sun of bliss is beaming

Light and love upon my way,

From the cross the radiance streaming

Adds more luster to the day.

Bane and blessing, pain and pleasure,

By the cross are sanctified;

Peace is there that knows no measure,

Joys that through all time abide.

In the cross of Christ I glory,

Towering o’er the wrecks of time;

All the light of sacred story

Gathers round its head sublime.

IS YOUR ALL ON THE ALTAR

You have longed for sweet peace,

And for faith to increase,

And have earnestly, fervently prayed;

But you cannot have rest,

Or be perfectly blest,

Until all on the altar is laid.

Is your all on the altar of sacrifice laid?

Your heart does the Spirit control?

You can only be blest,

And have peace and sweet rest,

As you yield Him your body and soul.

Would you walk with the Lord,

In the light of His word,

And have peace and contentment alway?

You must do His sweet will,

To be free from all ill,

On the altar your all you must lay. Oh, we never can know

What the Lord will bestow

Of the blessings for which we have prayed,

Till our body and soul

He doth fully control,

And our all on the altar is laid. Who can tell all the love

He will send from above,

And how happy our hearts will be made;

Of the fellowship sweet

We shall share at His feet,

When our all on the altar is laid.

My Final Exam

Posted by Cheryl on August 8, 2014 at 7:50 PM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning*****Have A Wonderful Day*****Final Exam; There Is A Final Exam: When we finish our Schooling whether high school or college people are so glad no more final exams to get ready for. Sorry to say but our final exam is coming. The questions will be looked at when we are before our Lord. Some of the things he will be looking at are the following:

How many doors were opened for sharing the gospel? How many of them opened doors was the gospel shared?

How much truth from my word did my child know? How often did my child read my book?

Did my child live for me? Or did my child live for the world?

Did my child love the brethren? Did my child forgive the brethren as I forgave them?

Keep in mind He already knows all the answers. Did My Child Love Me.

So you understand we are actually preparing for the final exam right now. On judgment day, no excuses or arguments can stand, nor will we be able to argue with our Heavenly Father. Trying to blame others, give awful excuses, selfish reasons will be permitted in God's holy presence. All we will do is stand in his presence and he will do all the talking and hand out the rewards (well if we are due any). Keep in mind our crowns we will then give to Jesus can you imagine the shame when others give him crowns and those of us have none to give????? Wow that will not be way to start eternity in Heaven. Keep in mind there we will have different body, and mind, a perfect one we will think different there than here. Here we can think "well at least I got there and I don't care about rewards, and crowns" we aren't standing there face to face. However when we are standing before him do you really think any of us will truly feel that way?

Throughout life, our heavenly Father blesses us in so many ways. He gives us life. He gives us the free gift of salvation. Many of us he gave children and grandchildren. Great church homes, and wonderful homes, food to eat, and brethren to fellowship with. All he gives us and the gift of salvation he really owes us nothing. We should want to serve him every chance we get. Not look at it as a burden or a chore like taking our the garbage or doing laundry. Don't waste any opportunity to be a witness. Live each day for our Lord Jesus Christ.

Our Lesson: We are here to Glorify him, to Love him with our whole heart. We need to start doing JUST THAT.

Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Matthew 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Matthew 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

Matthew 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

Matthew 25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

Matthew 25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

Matthew 25:35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

Matthew 25:36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

Matthew 25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?Matthew 25:38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

Matthew 25:39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

Matthew 25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

1Corinthians 3:7 So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

1Corinthians 3:8 Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.

1Corinthians 3:9 For we are labourers together with God: ye are God's husbandry, ye are God's building.

Psalm 19:11 Moreover by them is thy servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.

Psalm 19:12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse thou me from secret faults.

Psalm 19:13 Keep back thy servant also from presumptuous sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.

Psalm 19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

Colossians 3:24 Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ.

Love,

Cheryl

BRINGING IN THE SHEAVES

Sowing in the morning, sowing seeds of kindness,

Sowing in the noontide and the dewy eve;

Waiting for the harvest, and the time of reaping,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves;

Bringing in the sheaves, bringing in the sheaves,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

Sowing in the sunshine, sowing in the shadows,

Fearing neither clouds nor winter’s chilling breeze;

By and by the harvest, and the labor ended,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

Going forth with weeping, sowing for the Master,

Though the loss sustained our spirit often grieves;

When our weeping’s over, He will bid us welcome,

We shall come rejoicing, bringing in the sheaves.

I LOVE TO TELL THE STORY

I love to tell the story of unseen things above,

Of Jesus and His glory, of Jesus and His love.

I love to tell the story, because I know ’tis true;

It satisfies my longings as nothing else can do.

I love to tell the story, ’twill be my theme in glory,

To tell the old, old story of Jesus and His love.

I love to tell the story; more wonderful it seems

Than all the golden fancies of all our golden dreams.

I love to tell the story, it did so much for me;

And that is just the reason I tell it now to thee.

I love to tell the story; ’tis pleasant to repeat

What seems, each time I tell it, more wonderfully sweet.

I love to tell the story, for some have never heard

The message of salvation from God’s own holy Word.

I love to tell the story, for those who know it best

Seem hungering and thirsting to hear it like the rest.

And when, in scenes of glory, I sing the new, new song,

’Twill be the old, old story that I have loved so long.

HAVE I DONE MY BEST FOR JESUS

I wonder have I done my best for Jesus,

Who died upon the cruel tree?

To think of His great sacrifice at Calvary!

I know my Lord expects the best from me.

How many are the lost that I have lifted?

How many are the chained I’ve helped to free?

I wonder, have I done my best for Jesus,

When He has done so much for me?

The hours that I have wasted are so many

The hours I’ve spent for Christ so few;

Because of all my lack of love for Jesus,

I wonder if His heart is breaking too.

I wonder have I cared enough for others,

Or have I let them die alone?

I might have helped a wand’rer to the Saviour,

The seed of precious Life I might have sown.

No longer will I stay within the valley

I’ll climb to mountain heights above;

The world is dying now for want of someone

To tell them of the Saviour’s matchless love.
