WISDOM

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! Wisdom

In The Book Of James Readers Were Told To Show His Works, Out Of A Good Conversation With Meekness Of Wisdom; James tells us that those who are truly wise reveal their wisdom by the things they do. As we look at how the world’s wisdom compares with God’s wisdom, we

can make an informed decision about how to live our lives.

Worldly Wisdom

- worldly wisdom: bitter envy, strife

- jealousy, divisiveness

- ambition, self promotion.

- earthly (world), sensual (flesh), devilish (devil)

- confusion and every evil work

Godly Wisdom

- godly wisdom: purity (lit. holiness)

- holiness: being like God

- no self-seeking.

- peaceable, gentle, easy to be intreated, full of mercy, full of good fruit, without partiality, without hypocrisy.

- fruit of righteousness, peace

“endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.”

- the work of the church cannot progress without the practice of Godly wisdom.

What are you doing for the good of the body of Christ? Are you demonstrating godly wisdom by the things that you do? Do your actions match your words? It is one thing to say that you love Jesus, but it is entirely something else to prove it. Not that we gwet saved by good works, however after salvation people watch watch us as if they are carring around a microscope. So we do need to be careful on what we do, say, act, and dress.

Today, the problem is not that we don’t have enough Biblical advice. People shut you down when you talk of advice from the KJV Bible. They will listen to wisdom and advice from their favorite false TV Pastor, TV Doctor, and Personality some they feel have better advice than the Lord himself. I have got in trouble for not agreeing with Oprah, and Joel Osteen. I thought I was going to get strung up.

How do you know which advice to take? How do you know which path to pursue? Wisdom is the ability to discern the best path from amid all the other ideas as we deal with the everyday struggles and problems of life. If you would like that, but realize you don’t have that now, let me share with you. . .There is only one path, one book to trust the KJV Bible, and One God to trust, if your trusting TElevision Doctors, Entertainers, False Pastors, your in for many problems. If your willing to defend false teachers more than Jesus your in trouble.

Good News For The “Wisdom-Impaired”:

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

Ecclesiastes 7:12 For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.

Wisdom is learned.

Proverbs is a book written for wisdom, for us to go, and learn of life and how we need to live it. It’s for people “to know wisdom and knowledge. A lot of people presume wisdom is something you’re born with, but that’s not true. Why would you write a book filled with wisdom if wisdom was something either you had or you didn’t? No, it says this book was written that people might know wisdom. Wisdom is learned, which of course means it is open to anyone with a willingness to learn.

Proverbs 2:6 For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

Proverbs 2:7 He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

Proverbs 2:8 He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

Pro 2:9 Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.

Proverbs 2:10 When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

Proverbs 2:11 Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:

Proverbs 2:12 To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;

Proverbs 2:13 Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;

Proverbs 2:14 Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;

Proverbs 2:15 Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:

Wisdom begins with a right relationship with God. “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.” You’ve got to have a solid foundation of a proper understanding of and relationship with God if you want to be wise. Now, where do you go from there? When you are reading your Bible faithfully you get wisdom, pray, ask the Lord for wisdom as you open his word.

The Bible is your teacher and tutor. It provides the practical information you need understand to

grow in wisdom. Prayer makes the application to your life.Time with God provides the moments when that Bible knowledge can move from your head down to your heart and you can deal with the specific problems, shortcomings, and sins in your life, if your carrying around unrepented sin in your heart, unforgiveness you need toy take care of that stuff first. If you study the Bible but never pray, you’ll likely have a lot of head knowledge about what wisdom looks like, but it won’t be applied to your life. If your pray but never study the Bible, you may well see the problems you have, but chances are you may not grow as you like. We need to be in total fellowship with Our Lord. We need prayer, reading, studying, then we grow in wisdom.

What Are the Marks of Those with the Gift of Knowledge?

1. They enjoy deep Bible study.

2. They are intrigued with certain passages. Mainly on wisdom, knowledge, growth, forgiveness.

3. They research the Bible in a desire to know as much as they can.

4. They occasionally find treasures the rest of us miss.

What Are the Marks of Those with the Gift of Wisdom?

1. They can intelligently and compassionately apply the Scriptures.

2. They can size up many situations quickly and say, “Here’s what the Bible says about that.”

3. Often they can handle difficult problems which crop up in the Church by quoting a scriptural principle.

4. They can cut through all the talking and show what the real issue is.

5. They can make you think!

. Wisdom is not for the elite few. Wisdom is available to everyone who will seek it.The question is: do you want it? Some do have a much easier time understanding and studying the word. However if we are not in prayer, and not reading the word we will never learn anything and will never gain any wisdom. It is not our Pastor's job to spoon feed us every day. We need to open the word dsaily on our own.

1Corinthians 12:7 But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.

1Corinthians 12:8 For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;

1Corinthians 12:9 To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit;

1Corinthians 12:10 To another the working of miracles; to another prophecy; to another discerning of spirits; to another divers kinds of tongues; to another the interpretation of tongues:

1Corinthians 12:11 But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.

1Corinthians 12:12 For as the body is one, and hath many members, and all the members of that one body, being many, are one body: so also is Christ.

1Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

1Corinthians 12:14 For the body is not one member, but many.

1John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

1John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

1John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

Ephesians 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

Ephesians 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;

Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

Ephesians 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

Ephesians 4:7 But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.

James 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

James 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

James 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

James 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Matthew 7:17 Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Matthew 7:18 A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Matthew 7:19 Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Matthew 7:20 Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 7:23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Proverbs 14:29 He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

Proverbs 13:9 The light of the righteous rejoiceth: but the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.

Proverbs 13:10 Only by pride cometh contention: but with the well advised is wisdom.

Proverbs 13:11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.

TO THE WORK

To the work! To the work! We are servants of God;

Let us follow the path that our Master has trod;

With the balm of His counsel our strength to renew,

Let us do with our might what our hands find to do.

Toiling on, toiling on,

Toiling on, toiling on,

Let us hope and trust,

Let us watch and pray,

And labor till the Master comes.

To the work! To the work! Let the hungry be fed;

To the fountain of life let the weary be led;

In the cross and its banner our glory shall be,

While we herald the tidings, “Salvation is free!”

Toiling on, toiling on,

Toiling on, toiling on,

Let us hope and trust,

Let us watch and pray,

And labor till the Master comes.

To the work! To the work! There is labor for all;

For the kingdom of darkness and error shall fall;

And the love of our Father exalted shall be,

In the loud swelling chorus, “Salvation is free!”

Toiling on, toiling on,

Toiling on, toiling on,

Let us hope and trust,

Let us watch and pray,

And labor till the Master comes.

To the work! To the work! In the strength of the Lord,

And a robe and a crown shall our labor reward,

When the home of the faithful our dwelling shall be,

And we shout with the ransomed, “Salvation is free!”

Toiling on, toiling on,

Toiling on, toiling on,

Let us hope and trust,

Let us watch and pray,

And labor till the Master comes.

SOLDIERS OF CHRIST

Soldiers of Christ, arise, and put your armor on,

Strong in the strength which God supplies through His eternal Son.

Strong in the Lord of hosts, and in His mighty power,

Who in the strength of Jesus trusts is more than conqueror.

Stand then in His great might, with all His strength endued,

But take, to arm you for the fight, the panoply of God;

That, having all things done, and all your conflicts passed,

Ye may o’ercome through Christ alone and stand entire at last.

Stand then against your foes, in close and firm array;

Legions of wily fiends oppose throughout the evil day.

But meet the sons of night, and mock their vain design,

Armed in the arms of heavenly light, of righteousness divine.

Leave no unguarded place, no weakness of the soul,

Take every virtue, every grace, and fortify the whole;

Indissolubly joined, to battle all proceed;

But arm yourselves with all the mind that was in Christ, your Head.

But, above all, lay hold on faith’s victorious shield;

Armed with that adamant and gold, be sure to win the field:

If faith surround your heart, Satan shall be subdued,

Repelled his every fiery dart, and quenched with Jesu’s blood.

Jesus hath died for you! What can His love withstand?

Believe, hold fast your shield, and who shall pluck you from His hand?

Believe that Jesus reigns; all power to Him is giv’n:

Believe, till freed from sin’s remains; believe yourselves to Heav’n.

To keep your armor bright, attend with constant care,

Still walking in your Captain’s sight, and watching unto prayer.

Ready for all alarms, steadfastly set your face,

And always exercise your arms, and use your every grace.

Pray without ceasing, pray, your Captain gives the word;

His summons cheerfully obey and call upon the Lord;

To God your every want in instant prayer display,

Pray always; pray and never faint; pray, without ceasing, pray!

In fellowship alone, to God with faith draw near;

Approach His courts, besiege His throne with all the powers of prayer:

Go to His temple, go, nor from His altar move;

Let every house His worship know, and every heart His love.

To God your spirits dart, your souls in words declare,

Or groan, to Him Who reads the heart, the unutterable prayer:

His mercy now implore, and now show forth His praise,

In shouts, or silent awe, adore His miracles of grace.

Pour out your souls to God, and bow them with your knees,

And spread your hearts and hands abroad, and pray for Zion’s peace;

Your guides and brethren bear for ever on your mind;

Extend the arms of mighty prayer, ingrasping all mankind.

From strength to strength go on, wrestle and fight and pray,

Tread all the powers of darkness down and win the well fought day.

Still let the Spirit cry in all His soldiers, “Come!”

Till Christ the Lord descends from high and takes the conquerors home.

What Happened To The Family

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Tuesday!!! The Home!!!

What Has Happened To The Family; We live in an time, where televison and video games have become the central gathering areas of our homes. We are beginning tho see the effects socially as well as morally in the erosion of a stable home and family life. People in homes don't even talk to each other in their own homes. They text each other even when in the same house. The saddest part our Christian families are watching television programs portraying family nothing what the Lord intended it to be. They portray the heterosexual husband and father as ignorant, goofy, insensitive, the wife can get him under control, or the gay family friend. We have the family with two Dad's or two Mom's. We are opening this new "Agenda to our innocent children" so it won't be abnormal to them down the road.

You cannot give Christ Jesus limited seating in your home. He must be king of the castle, the condo, or the cardboard box, the apartment, whereever you call home. He must be exhorted in your home, hearth, and hallway. He must be held high in the barn, the burrow, and the stable. If you want a home rather than a place thats been conformed to the world, allow Jesus to be Lord of all. True wisdom, the Bible says, can only be had by coming to and learning from God. As you learn about Christ, and as you begin to take on His spiritual qualities, you become a better husband or wife, a better father or mother. His blessing come to those who stay together and try to improve their love relationship. His wisdom, grace, and strength are ready to help you and your spouse build the marriage and home He desires for you. When he sees us sitting with our children watching television the same programs as the world he does not please him. Next time shut off the filth, open the Bible have a bible study. My Grandson and I love to do Bible trivia on my kindle, then we are interacting not wasting a whole evening watching filth, lies, agendas of Satan.

Keep in mind he knows what we are watching, what we are thinking. He gives us our children and we are accountable for how we raise them. Men your the Spiritual Leaders of your home, it is up to you to shut off that television. Wives you need to be loving and supportive of your husband. We all have to answer for our own responses, actions, and what we did with this one life. God knows the needs of your household as well. If you, will be the kind of person you need to be and make the changes God leads you to make, He will certainly do His part to RESTORE your household. What are the needs of your household today that only God can meet? Will you trust Him to meet them today, and are you willing to make changes in your household?

Proverbs 24:1 Be not thou envious against evil men, neither desire to be with them.

Proverbs 24:2 For their heart studieth destruction, and their lips talk of mischief.

Joshua 24:16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;

Joshua 24:17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:

Ephesians 5:13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.

Ephesians 5:14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light.

Ephesians 5:15 See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise,

Ephesians 5:16 Redeeming the time, because the days are evil.

Ephesians 5:17 Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

ONLY ONE LIFE

It matters so little

How much you may own

The places you've been

Or people that you k

For it all comes to nothing

When placed at His feet

It's nothing to Jesus

Just memories to me

You can take all the treasures

From far away lands

And take all the riches

you can hold in your hands

And take all the pleasures

Your riches can buy

But will it help

When it's your time to die

Only one life

So soon it will pass

Only what's done for Christ will last

Only one chance to do His will

So give to Jesus all you days

It's the only life that pays

When you recall

You have but one life

The days pass so swiftly

The months come and go

The years melt away

Like new falling s

Spring turns to summer

Then summer to fall

Autumn brings winter

Then death come to all

Only one life

So soon it will pass

Only what's done for Christ will last

Only one chance to do His will

So give to Jesus all you days

It's the only life that pays

When you recall

You have but one life

READY

Ready to suffer grief or pain,

Ready to stand the test,

Ready to stay at home and send

Others if He sees best.

Ready to go, ready to stay,

Ready my place to fill,

Ready for service, lowly or great,

Ready to do His will.

Ready to go, ready to bear,

Ready to watch and pray,

Ready to stand aside and give,

Till He shall clear the way.

Ready to speak, ready to think,

Ready with heart and brain,

Ready to stand where He sees fit,

Ready to bear the strain.

Ready to speak, ready to warn,

Ready souls to yearn,

Ready in life, ready in death,

Ready for His return.

Hope

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! Hope!!!

Hope Is Not Just A Wish It Is A Confident And A Joyful Knowledge Of What The Lord Is Doing And Will Do On Our Behalf; We must rejoice in hope, praise the Lord in love, and honor. Love one another in a sincere love. Romans 12:9 "Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good. Be devoted to one another in brotherly love, honor one another above yourselves. Keep your Spiritual fervor, serving, and praising the Lord daily.

What Does Hope Contribute To The Christian’s Life? Hope stabilizes the spirit of the believer. Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

Hebrews 6:19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and stedfast, and which entereth into that within the veil;

Hope also helps produce patience in trials that come into our lives. We see in 1John 3:3 it will help us desire godly living,"And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure". Hope inspires joyful confidence in our Precious Lord.

What Consolation Does Hope Bring Us?

- Hope is associated with victory, not defeat.

- Hope is the knowledge of the best God has in store for us.

- Hope is the assurance of God’s future work, just as we now trust His present ministry.

- To be “filled with hope” is to be filled with joy.

1Peter 1:8 Whom having not seen, ye love; in whom, though now ye see him not, yet believing, ye rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory:

What Hope Is There For Those Without Jesus?- There is no hope without Jesus.

Ephesians 2:11 Wherefore remember, that ye being in time past Gentiles in the flesh, who are called Uncircumcision by that which is called the Circumcision in the flesh made by hands;

Ephesians 2:12 That at that time ye were without Christ, being aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and strangers from the covenants of promise, having no hope, and without God in the world:

Everywhere we look, people are looking for happines. Some turn to drugs, fornication, but there is no happiness in drugs, fornication, toys. Some try alcohol, but there is no happiness in alcohol. Some look for happiness in their homes, their cars, their children, or their spouse. They may find a little happines, but they don’t have any joy. And you know, there is a difference between happiness and joy. Happiness depends on the circumstances. Happiness depends on what you have. Happiness depends on what’s happening. But sooner or later your happiness is going to run out. You will get tired of the things that used to make you happy, because they don’t make you happy anymore. When we count on things of this world to make us happy it doesn't last. This world changes, things grow old, people change.

However The Lord is never changing, he is the same yesterday, today and a 1,000 years from now. Happiness depends on what’s happening, but joy depends on what has already happened over 2,000 years ago, when Jesus shed his precious blood on Calvary. That’s why I cannot stop, I will not stop, I shall not stop praising the Lord.

Joy is a fruit of the spirit. When you have the spirit of Christ working on the in side there should be some joy on the outside. Tests and trials come to everyone. Some teach that the moment you become a Christian all your trials and worries will be over. But that is not so. Because Satan is on the loose and he is going to and fro seeking who he can defile. And one thing about Satan is he knows you and he knows just what you like and that’s what he will tempt you with. And your attitude is what makes the difference between victory and defeat. So to say we will never be sad, upset, discouraged I would be a liar. However when we are trusting in the PURE HOPE of Jesus Christ we need not concern ourselves of this world, our enemys, our problems. Our Savior is greater than all of that stuff. When we are called home we know where we are going, and our problems and issues will not follow us. Remember our Father is the King of kings, the Lord of lords, the Mighty God, the Redeemer, the Alpha and Omega, there is nothing he can't do but sin.

Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 15:14 And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

Acts 16:9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.

Acts 16:10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us for to preach the gospel unto them.

Colossians 1:26 Even the mystery which hath been hid from ages and from generations, but now is made manifest to his saints:

Colossians 1:27 To whom God would make known what is the riches of the glory of this mystery among the Gentiles; which is Christ in you, the hope of glory:

Colossians 1:28 Whom we preach, warning every man, and teaching every man in all wisdom; that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus:

Colossians 1:29 Whereunto I also labour, striving according to his working, which worketh in me mightily.

Romans 15:15 Nevertheless, brethren, I have written the more boldly unto you in some sort, as putting you in mind, because of the grace that is given to me of God,

1Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

1Peter 1:4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

1Peter 1:5 Who are kept by the power of God through faith unto salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

Philippians 4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Philippians 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

MY HOPE IS BUILT ON NOTHING LESS

My hope is built on nothing less

Than Jesus Christ, my righteousness;

I dare not trust the sweetest frame,

But wholly lean on Jesus’ name.

On Christ, the solid Rock, I stand;

All other ground is sinking sand,

All other ground is sinking sand.

When darkness veils His lovely face,

I rest on His unchanging grace;

In every high and stormy gale,

My anchor holds within the veil.

His oath, His covenant, His blood,

Support me in the whelming flood;

When all around my soul gives way,

He then is all my hope and stay.

When He shall come with trumpet sound,

Oh, may I then in Him be found;

In Him, my righteousness, alone,

Faultless to stand before the throne.

IN THE HOUR OF TRIAL

In the hour of trial, Jesus, plead for me,

Lest by base denial I depart from Thee.

When Thou seest me waver, with a look recall,

Nor for fear or favor suffer me to fall.

With forbidden pleasures would this vain world charm,

Or its sordid treasures spread to work me harm,

Bring to my remembrance sad Gethsemane,

Or, in darker semblance, cross-crowned Calvary.

Should Thy mercy send me sorrow, toil and woe,

Or should pain attend me on my path below,

Grant that I may never fail Thy hand to see;

Grant that I may ever cast my care on Thee.

When my last hour cometh, fraught with strife and pain,

When my dust returneth to the dust again,

On Thy truth relying, through that mortal strife,

Jesus, take me, dying, to eternal life

Promise & Prayer

Good Morning!!! Have A Blessed Sunday!!! A Promise & A Prayer

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.

John 7:38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.

When we are serving the flesh we are never filled. When we don't know the Lord, and have not trusted him for salvation we are never filled. It is like the child who has everything he wants, he complains all the time "I am bored, I have nothing to play with". The adult who is never content who spends money they don't have. They are spending and saying "oh if I get this car then I will be happy", within three months discontent sets in yet again. However if we drink from the living water and believe we will have everlasting life, contentment, true joy, and happiness, we will have. Nothing in this world will ever satisfy, sin will only satisfy for a short time then pain, and anguish.

1John 1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.

Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

Ezr 7:25 And thou, Ezra, after the wisdom of thy God, that is in thine hand, set magistrates and judges, which may judge all the people that are beyond the river, all such as know the laws of thy God; and teach ye them that know them not.

Ezr 7:26 And whosoever will not do the law of thy God, and the law of the king, let judgment be executed speedily upon him, whether it be unto death, or to banishment, or to confiscation of goods, or to imprisonment.

Ezr 7:27 Blessed be the LORD God of our fathers, which hath put such a thing as this in the king's heart, to beautify the house of the LORD which is in Jerusalem:

Ezr 7:28 And hath extended mercy unto me before the king, and his counsellors, and before all the king's mighty princes. And I was strengthened as the hand of the LORD my God was upon me, and I gathered together out of Israel chief men to go up with me.

We see in verses 27&28 Ezra thanking the LORD for putting great things in the Kings heart. He is thanking the LORD for his great mercy. We need to remember to thank the Lord more often. We need to remember to go daily to our Precious lord in thanksgiving; not to wait until we need something, or life is falling apart then go and say "HELP I NEED YOU LORD".

I SING THE MIGHTY POWER OF GOD

I sing the mighty power of God, that made the mountains rise,

That spread the flowing seas abroad, and built the lofty skies.

I sing the wisdom that ordained the sun to rule the day;

The moon shines full at God’s command, and all the stars obey.

I sing the goodness of the Lord, who filled the earth with food,

Who formed the creatures through the Word, and then pronounced them good.

Lord, how Thy wonders are displayed, where’er I turn my eye,

If I survey the ground I tread, or gaze upon the sky.

There’s not a plant or flower below, but makes Thy glories known,

And clouds arise, and tempests blow, by order from Thy throne;

While all that borrows life from Thee is ever in Thy care;

And everywhere that we can be, Thou, God art present there.

COME CHRISTIANS JOIN TO SING

Come, Christians, join to sing

Alleluia! Amen!

Loud praise to Christ our King;

Alleluia! Amen!

Let all, with heart and voice,

Before His throne rejoice;

Praise is His gracious choice.

Alleluia! Amen!

Come, lift your hearts on high,

Alleluia! Amen!

Let praises fill the sky;

Alleluia! Amen!

He is our Guide and Friend;

To us He’ll condescend;

His love shall never end.

Alleluia! Amen!

Praise yet our Christ again,

Alleluia! Amen!

Life shall not end the strain;

Alleluia! Amen!

On heaven’s blissful shore,

His goodness we’ll adore,

Singing forevermore,

“Alleluia! Amen!”

Die to Self

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Wednesday!!! Alive/Dead!!!

When We Become Born-Again We Are Suppose To Die To Self And Alive To Our Precious Lord And Savior Jesus Christ; Our old life is gone, we can't hold on to it any longer. A new, cleaner, stronger life with the Lord has begun. That old life filled with sin, and shame is no longer part of us and for us to grow in Christ we can't hold onto it any longer. Some may say I was a very nice, morally sound person. In some ways some lost do live better morally than some Christians I know; but keep in mind in God's eyes no one is good. If we haven't been born-again we are on our way to hell no matter how "nice" we are. Not only do we need to be dead to sin, but dead to self. We have a new life with the Lord now. I have told people if we question some of our choices we make, if your doing something and Jesus came to the door would you be ok with him coming in? Well he sees all, hears all, knows all. If we are not sure better to not do it and not take the chance.

Lets keep in mind the pleasure of sin no matter what it is lasts only a short time. The effects of sin can last a life time. The damage to our walks, testimony can ruin us. The damage it does to our relationships can be hurt beyond repair. Our relationship with our Savior he who died for us will take a hit, and we will be (what a blessing he is longsuffering and forgiving, but we dont want to be separated from him) separated from him while in that sin. Our old nature, and our favorite sin should be the furthest thing from our mind after salvation, but I know we are still in the flesh and it creeps up. When it sneaks back up, PRAY, give it no time, let go of it, pray, open the word, listen to hymns, call a Brother or Sister and talk, or maybe ask "I am having a tough day can you pray with me". No need to go into great detail on this sin.

Some ideas for old nature issues that we can try are the following. Remember some of us didn't get saved until 30, 40, 50 these old sins were with us a long time, some sins take a long time and lots of consistency to get rid of. Also We Have To Truly Want To Get Rid Of Them:

Instead of raging at someone, be kind to them, or talk after your calmer

Instead of being angry when you are wronged, be merciful, not proud, we don't have to win every argument.

Instead of harboring hatred, humbly place yourself beneath that person.What if Jesus hated each man in that crowd? Would he be the same Savior, Lord we look at him as we do?

Instead of slandering someone, treat them with gentleness, How do we feel when its done to us?

Instead of inflicting abusive language, be patient and forgiving, Keep in mind the Lord hears our every word, and has them written down.

Don’t lie to or about people, love them. Lies are sinful. If your sin is in lust avoid places where most likely you be tempted, beaches, television. If it is in alcohol Avoid Bars which all Christians need to do (the appearance of evil), parties where it will be served. If your weakness in in gambling don't go where gambling is prevelent.

How do we seek the things above? Thinking about our eternal home, no sin, no separation from Our God, and Father. No pain. no heartache peace, no murder, no baby killings, no murder of any kind. Also another way is we all have lost family here, well if they watch our new life here and see wow what changed them, there has to be some truth to that Jesus person.

Jesus is our life. So, think about Jesus. There is more to it than that, but it is an incredible start.

On the other hand, we should put to death the things inside us that draw us back to this earth. Paul generalizes in his examples of things of this earth which we should put to death:

• sexual immorality

• impurity

• shameful passion

• evil desire

• and greed which is idolatry

Paul often begins lists of evil things with sexual sin. It is clear that he thought this was a prominent problem for many people. If you have problems with it, don’t be shocked, so do many others. Other than this one item, he is more general.

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound?

Romans 6:2 God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein?

Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.

Romans 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:

Romans 6:6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

Romans 6:7 For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Romans 6:8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

Romans 6:9 Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

Romans 6:10 For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

Romans 6:11 Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Romans 6:12 Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Romans 6:13 Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

Romans 6:14 For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.

Romans 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

Romans 6:16 Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?

Romans 6:17 But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you.

Romans 6:18 Being then made free from sin, ye became the servants of righteousness.

Romans 6:19 I speak after the manner of men because of the infirmity of your flesh: for as ye have yielded your members servants to uncleanness and to iniquity unto iniquity; even so now yield your members servants to righteousness unto holiness.

Romans 6:20 For when ye were the servants of sin, ye were free from righteousness.

Romans 6:21 What fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

Romans 6:22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.

2Corinthians 5:13 For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.

2Corinthians 5:14 For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

2Corinthians 5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

2Corinthians 5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

2Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

Titus 1:1 Paul, a servant of God, and an apostle of Jesus Christ, according to the faith of God's elect, and the acknowledging of the truth which is after godliness;

Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

Titus 1:3 But hath in due times manifested his word through preaching, which is committed unto me according to the commandment of God our Saviour;

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Colossians 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Colossians 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Colossians 3:5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry:

Colossians 3:6 For which things' sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience:

Colossians 3:7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them.

Colossians 3:8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth.

Colossians 3:9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;

Colossians 3:10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:

SINCE I HAVE BEEN REDEEMED

I have a song I love to sing,

Since I have been redeemed,

Of my Redeemer, Savior King,

Since I have been redeemed.

Since I have been redeemed,

Since I have been redeemed,

I will glory in His Name,

Since I have been redeemed,

I will glory in the Savior’s Name.

I have a Christ Who satisfies

Since I have been redeemed,

To do His will my highest prize,

Since I have been redeemed.

Since I have been redeemed,

Since I have been redeemed,

I will glory in His Name,

Since I have been redeemed,

I will glory in the Savior’s Name.

I have a witness bright and clear,

Since I have been redeemed,

Dispelling every doubt and fear,

Since I have been redeemed.

Since I have been redeemed,

Since I have been redeemed,

I will glory in His Name,

Since I have been redeemed,

I will glory in the Savior’s Name.

I have a home prepared for me,

Since I have been redeemed,

Where I shall dwell eternally,

Since I have been redeemed.

Since I have been redeemed,

Since I have been redeemed,

I will glory in His Name,

Since I have been redeemed,

I will glory in the Savior’s Name.

I have a joy I can’t express,

Since I have been redeemed,

All through His blood and righteousness,

Since I have been redeemed.

Since I have been redeemed,

Since I have been redeemed,

I will glory in His Name,

Since I have been redeemed,

I will glory in the Savior’s Name.

WHITER THAN SNOW

Lord Jesus, I long to be perfectly whole;

I want Thee forever to live in my soul;

Break down every idol, cast out every foe—

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Whiter than snow, yes, whiter than snow,

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Lord Jesus, let nothing unholy remain,

Apply Thine own blood and extract every stain;

To get this blest cleansing, I all things forego—

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Lord Jesus, look down from Thy throne in the skies,

And help me to make a complete sacrifice;

I give up myself, and whatever I know—

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Lord Jesus, for this I most humbly entreat,

I wait, blessed Lord, at Thy crucified feet,

By faith for my cleansing, I see thy blood flow—

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Lord Jesus, Thou seest I patiently wait;

Come now and within me a new heart create;

To those who have sought Thee Thou never said’st “No”—

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

The blessing by faith, I receive from above;

Oh, glory! my soul is made perfect in love;

My prayer has prevailed, and this moment I know,

The blood is applied, I am whiter than snow.

Be Merciful

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Tuesday!!! Showing Mercy!!!

Matthew 5:7 "Blessed Are The Merciful: For They Shall Obtain Mercy",; Mercy is a concept integral to an understanding of God's dealings with humankind. In English translations of the Bible, it comes to expression in phrases such as "to be merciful, " "to have mercy on, " or "to show mercy toward." The corresponding term, "merciful, " describes a quality of God and one that God requires of his people. The noun denotes compassion and love, not just feelings or emotions, as expressed in tangible ways.(Bible Definition). If we listen carefully, we can hear the applause of heaven when we put into practice these eight character qualities, or “be-attitudes.” As we look at what it means to be merciful, we come to a transition from the first four, which focus on our need – we are bankrupt in spirit, and broken with grief, which leads to meekness and an insatiable hunger for righteousness. We now move from our need, to what we need to do; from belief to behavior; from our situation to our responsibility.

The Meaning of Mercy, the principal Hebrew word for mercy speaks of an emotional response to the needs of others. It means to feel the pain, or imagine the pain of another so deeply that we’re compelled to do something about it. In fact, people in Bible times believed that the seat of emotions was found in the intestinal area. That’s why the King James Version uses the phrase, “bowels of mercy.” Sometimes it is said, “To get inside someone’s skin until we can see things with his eyes, think things with his mind, and feel things with his feelings; to move in and act on behalf of those who are hurting.” Mercy can be defined as: “good will toward the afflicted, joined with a desire to relieve them.”: “When Jesus saw the large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed their sick.” The word “compassion” means that Jesus was so moved that His stomach churned, or literally, “his bowels yearned” for the crowd. Notice that this churning led Him to do something about it. He saw the need and then He went into action. Mercy in theory is absolutely meaningless. Mercy must move us. In addition, the emphasis in this beatitude is on those who are inclined to show mercy as a lifestyle, not those who are merciful on an occasional basis.

There is no doubt that our Precious Lord is merciful toward each one of us, as He not only withholds what we deserve, but He also turns toward us and meets our deepest needs. While we can’t always count on a man or woman’s mercy, we can rely on the compassion of God.

David became “conscience-stricken,” and confessed what he did to the Lord. Interestingly, God gave David three options for his punishment. He didn’t have to think about it long, because he realized that it would be much better to throw himself on the mercy of the Majesty than to allow men to do what they wanted to him. It is very interesting often times our own brethren wants to punish us more severely, than our Lord. Friends, nowhere do we imitate God more than when we show mercy because we are never more like Him when our compassion goes into action.

The Lord reminds us that we are to grant mercy to others instead of judgment: “…judgment without mercy will be shown to anyone who has not been merciful. Mercy triumphs over judgment!” Jesus certainly demonstrated mercy and He expected His followers to exhibit it as well. As I’ve said before, some of us are pretty merciless toward people who sin differently than we do. Unfortunately, those who are the most "religious" are often those who are the most rigid and unmerciful. On two different occasions in the Gospel of Matthew, Jesus quoted

If the religious people back then, and now needed to learn that God desires mercy above any sacrifice that can be made, then I suspect that you and I need to be taught how to be merciful as well. You see, it’s our nature to criticize and withhold forgiveness. It’s also way too natural for us to ignore real needs when we see them because we’re wrapped up in our world. When our heart truly sees and acts on the needs of others we truly are and will be blessed. When we can't see, or choose not to see the needs of others we will lose many blessings.

Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

2Corinthians 1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

2Corinthians 1:4 Who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

James 5:11 Behold, we count them happy which endure. Ye have heard of the patience of Job, and have seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is very pitiful, and of tender mercy.

Ephesians 2:4 But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,

Luke 18:13 And the publican, standing afar off, would not lift up so much as his eyes unto heaven, but smote upon his breast, saying, God be merciful to me a sinner.

Luke 18:14 I tell you, this man went down to his house justified rather than the other: for every one that exalteth himself shall be abased; and he that humbleth himself shall be exalted.

2Timothy 1:16 The Lord give mercy unto the house of Onesiphorus; for he oft refreshed me, and was not ashamed of my chain:

2Timothy 1:17 But, when he was in Rome, he sought me out very diligently, and found me.

2Timothy 1:18 The Lord grant unto him that he may find mercy of the Lord in that day: and in how many things he ministered unto me at Ephesus, thou knowest very well.

Matthew 15:22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou Son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

Deuteronomy 4:30 When thou art in tribulation, and all these things are come upon thee, even in the latter days, if thou turn to the LORD thy God, and shalt be obedient unto his voice;

Deuteronomy 4:31 (For the LORD thy God is a merciful God;) he will not forsake thee, neither destroy thee, nor forget the covenant of thy fathers which he sware unto them.

Nehemiah 9:31 Nevertheless for thy great mercies' sake thou didst not utterly consume them, nor forsake them; for thou art a gracious and merciful God.

Psalm 119:132 Look thou upon me, and be merciful unto me, as thou usest to do unto those that love thy name.

Matthew 20:29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.

Matthew 20:30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.

Matthew 20:31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, thou Son of David.

Matthew 20:32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will ye that I shall do unto you?

Matthew 20:33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.

Matthew 20:34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

And a friendship true and tender,

When love shines in.

When earth’s vict’ries shall be won,

And our life in Heav’n begun,

There will be no need of sun,

When love shines in.

When love shines in,

When love shines in,

How the heart is tuned to singing,

When love shines in;

When love shines in,

When love shines in,

Joy and peace to others bringing,

When love shines in.

WHERE CROSS THE CROWDED WAYS OF LIFE

Where cross the crowded ways of life,

where sound the cries of race and clan,

above the noise of selfish strife,

we hear your voice, O Son of man.

In haunts of wretchedness and need,

on shadowed thresholds dark with fears,

from paths where hide the lures of greed,

we catch the vision of your tears.

From tender childhood's helplessness,

from woman's grief, man's burdened toil,

from famished souls, from sorrow's stress,

your heart has never known recoil.

The cup of water given for you still

holds the freshness of your grace;

yet long these multitudes to view

the sweet compassion of your face.

.O Master, from the mountainside

make haste to heal these hearts of pain;

among these restless throngs abide;

O tread the city's streets again.

Till all the world shall learn your love

and follow where your feet have trod,

till, glorious from your heaven above,

shall come the city of our Go.

A BAD DAY

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful And Blessed Monday!!! A Bad Day

Have You Ever Had A Bad Day A Really Bad Day; We all have, No one is immune to bad days; some may say I have had a bad week, month, year, two years. Thankfully, not many of us have had a day as bad as Paul and Silas as we read in Acts 16:16-25 in this text. Their day could be summarized by that wise old saying, “No good deed goes unpunished.”

Sometimes we look for something good to cheer us up and it’s just not there. It’s just the way things are. In this text we find some basic advice on how to handle life’s most difficult times.

However keep in mind; We are always shocked by the inappropriate reaction of unbelievers to the things we do for God as if we were expecting them to somehow appreciate our motives. We can never depend on the lost world for understanding or appreciating us. They are not capable of this because they do not have the Holy Spirit. Furthermore, when we do something good forour Precious Lord, Jesus said we ought to expect opposition. Remember they hated him first.

However we do read that Paul, and Silas did find something to do for edification for each other and the Lord. But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.

A BAD DAY WAS MADE BETTER BY A GOOD ATTITUDE. Instead of having the woe is me (and in prison back then who could blame them), they were praising God. While we can’t control all the events of our lives we can control our reactions to them. Despite the circumstances of their bad day we find Paul and Silas praising God in a most unlikely situation and at a most unlikely time. In prison, falsely accused, beaten, we find them not feeling sorry for themselves but worshipping the Lord. Their worship had a positive effect on both themselves and their listeners. Here is a real witness. When we can take our minds off our troubles, praise our Lord how do you think this plays in being a witness for our Lord, for the lost world?

At the end their bad day the jailer took Paul and Silas out of the prison, treated their wounds, and fed them.Why would the jailer do this? Do you think he just though oh they must be hungry? I should feed them they may die? Or do you suppose from the decision Paul and Silas made to Praise and worship God instead of moaning, crying, made this jailer realize their God was real, and he had made a decision to know him.

Like He did for Paul and Silas God has the power to turn your day or year around if you’ll just trust Him. So, you had a bad day? God knows that. Nothing is ever going to happen to you that He doesn’t know about and doesn’t have an answer for. When you trust the Lord and call upon him, and he gets involved; a day that is as bad as it can be will be turned into a celebration of sorts.

Acts 16:16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:

Acts 16:17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which shew unto us the way of salvation.

Acts 16:18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, I command thee in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.

Acts 16:19 And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers,

Acts 16:20 And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,

Acts 16:21 And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.

Acts 16:22 And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them.

Acts 16:23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:

Acts 16:24 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.

Acts 16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.

Acts 16:26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.

Acts 16:27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.

Acts 16:28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do thyself no harm: for we are all here.

Acts 16:29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,

Acts 16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

Acts 16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

Acts 16:32 And they spake unto him the word of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.

Acts 16:33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, straightway.

Acts 16:34 And when he had brought them into his house, he set meat before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.

John 21:24 This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

John 21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

John 16:32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

Love,

Cheryl

O THOU, IN WHOSE PRESENCE

O Thou in whose presence my soul takes delight,

On whom in affliction I call,

My comfort by day, and my song in the night,

My hope, my salvation, my all.

Where dost Thou at noontide resort with Thy sheep,

To feed on the pastures of love?

Say, why in the valley of death should I weep,

Or alone in the wilderness rove?

O, why should I wander an alien from Thee,

And cry in the desert for bread?

Thy foes will rejoice when my sorrows they see,

And smile at the tears I have shed.

Ye daughters of Zion declare, have ye seen

The Star that on Israel shone?

Say, if in your tents my Belovèd has been,

And where, with His flocks, He is gone.

This is my Belovèd; His form is divine;

His vestments shed odors around:

The locks of His head are as grapes on the vine,

When autumn with plenty is crowned.

The roses of Sharon, the lilies that grow

In vales, on the banks of the streams:

On His cheeks, all the beauties of excellence glow,

And His eyes are as quivers of beams.

His voice, as the sound of the dulcimer sweet,

Is heard through the shadows of death;

The cedars of Lebanon bow at His feet,

The air is perfumed with His breath.

His lips as a fountain of righteousness flow,

That waters the garden of grace,

From which their salvation the Gentiles shall know,

And bask in the smiles of His face.

Love sits on His eye-lids, and scatters delight

Through all the bright mansions on high;

Their faces the cherubim veil in His sight,

And tremble with fullness of joy.

He looks, and ten thousands of angels rejoice,

And myriads wait for His word;

He speaks, and eternity, filled with His voice,

Re-echoes the praise of her Lord.

Dear Shepherd, I hear and will follow Thy call;

I know the sweet sound of Thy voice.

Restore and defend me, for Thou art my All,

And in Thee I will ever rejoice.

THE LORD'S MY SHEPARD

The Lord’s my Shepherd, I’ll not want.

He makes me down to lie

In pastures green; He leadeth me

The quiet waters by.

My soul He doth restore again;

And me to walk doth make

Within the paths of righteousness,

Even for His own Name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk in death’s dark vale,

Yet will I fear no ill;

For Thou art with me; and Thy rod

And staff my comfort still.

My table Thou hast furnishèd

In presence of my foes;

My head Thou dost with oil anoint,

And my cup overflows.

Goodness and mercy all my life

Shall surely follow me;

And in God’s house forevermore

My dwelling place shall be.

PROMISE & PRAYER

Posted by Cheryl on May 10, 2015 at 7:45 PM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! A Promise & Prayer!!!

HAPPY MOTHERS DAY TO ALL THE MOM 'S & GRANDMOTHERS TODAY

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Matthew 22:37-40 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

The Lord is so wonderful to us. He paid the sin debt in full. He could ask so much from us and all he asks is we love him, and others. I found if we have a difficult loving some people pray for them, it is difficult to despise others when you are praying for them. He wants us not to conform to the world; look at the things of the world long and hard why would anyone want to be part of this sinful, degenerate, baby killing world? We need to ask ourselves what does the world offer? What does our Precious Lord Offer?

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

Deuteronomy 3:24 O Lord GOD, thou hast begun to shew thy servant thy greatness, and thy mighty hand: for what God is there in heaven or in earth, that can do according to thy works, and according to thy might?

Deuteronomy 3:25 I pray thee, let me go over, and see the good land that is beyond Jordan, that goodly mountain, and Lebanon.

Deuteronomy 3:26 But the LORD was wroth with me for your sakes, and would not hear me: and the LORD said unto me, Let it suffice thee; speak no more unto me of this matter.

Numbers 20:12 And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

We see Moses asking the LORD to go over into Canaan. The LORD was angry with Moses and told him no and said "speak no more unto me of this matter". In Numbers we see that Moses and Aaron had not believed the LORD, and thats why they could not bring the children of Israel into the land promised them. Moses is never allowed to enter in that land.

We see often times when we have sin in our lives we miss out on blessings, but keep in mind not the fault of the LORD's it is our very own fault.

I NEED THEE EVERY HOUR

I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord;

No tender voice like Thine can peace afford.

I need Thee, O I need Thee;

Every hour I need Thee;

O bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour, stay Thou nearby;

Temptations lose their power when Thou art nigh.

I need Thee, O I need Thee;

Every hour I need Thee;

O bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour, in joy or pain;

Come quickly and abide, or life is in vain.

I need Thee, O I need Thee;

Every hour I need Thee;

O bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour; teach me Thy will;

And Thy rich promises in me fulfill.

I need Thee, O I need Thee;

Every hour I need Thee;

O bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour, most Holy One;

O make me Thine indeed, Thou blessèd Son.

I need Thee, O I need Thee;

Every hour I need Thee;

O bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

Grant that I may never fail Thy hand to see;

Grant that I may ever cast my care on Thee.

When my last hour cometh, fraught with strife and pain,

When my dust returneth to the dust again,

On Thy truth relying, through that mortal strife,

Jesus, take me, dying, to eternal life.

PROMISE & PRAYER

Posted by Cheryl on May 9, 2015 at 6:50 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Weekend!!! A Promise & A Prayer!!!

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

Psalm 34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

Psalm 50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver thee, and thou shalt glorify me.

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

When we call upon our Precious Lord he does hear us, and he does come to us, answers us, and rescues us. Remember as I have said in the past, our Heavenly father, our blessed Savior can't lie, break promises so these promises are absolutely true. He is there when we need him, he will deliver us, and answer us. For those of us his children, our Heavenly Father takes very good care of his children. So how do we treat our Heavenly Father?

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

2Kings 19:15 And Hezekiah prayed before the LORD, and said, O LORD God of Israel, which dwellest between the cherubims, thou art the God, even thou alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; thou hast made heaven and earth.

2Kings 19:16 LORD, bow down thine ear, and hear: open, LORD, thine eyes, and see: and hear the words of Sennacherib, which hath sent him to reproach the living God.

2Kings 19:17 Of a truth, LORD, the kings of Assyria have destroyed the nations and their lands,

2Kings 19:18 And have cast their gods into the fire: for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone: therefore they have destroyed them.

2Kings 19:19 Now therefore, O LORD our God, I beseech thee, save thou us out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that thou art the LORD God, even thou only.

We read in this short section Hezekiah is asking for deliverance from the Kings of Assyria, and to show them that the LORD God is the ONLY God and HIM Alone.

2Kings 19:35 And it came to pass that night, that the angel of the LORD went out, and smote in the camp of the Assyrians an hundred fourscore and five thousand: and when they arose early in the morning, behold, they were all dead corpses.

We read in verse 35 that Hezekiah's prayer has been answered. Praise the LORD!!!

He does deliver, he does answer, he hears the righteous prayers. He Loves His Children, and takes very good care of them.

HIS LOVING KINDNESS

Awake, my soul, to joyful lays,

And sing thy great Redeemer’s praise;

He justly claims a song from me -

His lovingkindness, O how free!

Lovingkindness, lovingkindness,

His lovingkindness, O how free!

He saw me ruined in the fall,

Yet loved me notwithstanding all;

He saved me from my lost estate -

His lovingkindness, O how great!

Lovingkindness, lovingkindness,

His lovingkindness, O how great!

Though numerous hosts of mighty foes,

Though earth and hell my way oppose,

He safely leads my soul along -

His lovingkindness, O how strong!

Lovingkindness, lovingkindness,

His lovingkindness, O how strong!

When trouble, like a gloomy cloud,

Has gathered thick and thundered loud,

He near my soul has always stood -

His lovingkindness, O how good!

Lovingkindness, lovingkindness,

His lovingkindness, O how good!

Often I feel my sinful heart

Prone from my Jesus to depart;

But though I have him oft forgot,

His lovingkindness changes not.

Lovingkindness, lovingkindness,

His lovingkindness changes not.

Soon I shall pass the gloomy vale,

Soon all my mortal powers must fail;

O! may my last expiring breath

His lovingkindness sing in death.

Lovingkindness, lovingkindness,

His lovingkindness sing in death.

Then let me mount and soar away

To the bright world of endless day;

And sing with raptures and surprise,

His lovingkindness in the skies.

Lovingkindness, lovingkindness,

His lovingkindness in the skies.

ITS JUST LIKE HIS GREAT LOVE

A friend I have called Jesus, Whose love is strong and true,

And never fails howe’er ’tis tried, no matter what I do;

I sinned against this love of His, but when I knelt to pray,

Confessing all my guilt to Him, the sin-clouds rolled away.

It’s just like Jesus to roll the clouds away,

It’s just like Jesus to keep me day by day,

It’s just like Jesus all along the way,

It’s just like His great love.

Sometimes when clouds of trouble bedim the sky above,

I cannot see my Savior’s face, and doubt His wondrous love;

But He, from heaven’s mercy-seat, beholding my despair,

In pity bursts the clouds between, and shows me He is there.

When sorrow’s clouds o’ertake me, and break upon my head,

When life seems worse than useless, and I were better dead;

I take my grief to Jesus then, nor do I go in vain,

For heav’nly hope He gives that cheers like sunshine after rain.

Oh, I could sing forever of Jesus’ love divine,

Of all His care and tenderness for this poor life of mine;

His love is in and over all, and wind and waves obey,

When Jesus whispers, “Peace, be still!” and rolls the clouds away.

SPIRITUAL WARFARE

Posted by Cheryl on May 7, 2015 at 7:50 PM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Thursday!!! Spiritual Warfare!!!

Our Biggest Enemy In Our Biggest Fight Is Satan, Lucifer, Devil, He Is The Accuser, The Murderer, Beelzebub, Belial; We must be prepared each day to face this fight, and no we can't bind him, throw him down, cast him anywhere. He is very strong and has powers of his own, he is in no where bigger than our Precious Father, however he is mightier than we are. He Is A Shrewd Enemy he acts like the hunter in the woods waiting for the deer to come upon the tree stand they "lie in wait" for the deer although we are much easier to get.

Too often, we are guilty of fighting the wrong people We will get at odds with our fellow believers, when the real enemy is in the spiritual realm. He is a master at sowing discord among the brethren. We need to remember that our fight is a spiritual battle. The devil might work through people at times to get to us and cause us to stumble, but the real battle is fought on a spiritual level. We must never attack other people! Our battle is with an unseen army of spiritual enemies lead by the Satan himself. If we are saved, born-again he can't steal our salvation; HOWEVER he can steal our joy, make us miserable and useless to our Lord, and to the brethren, and all the yelling "I Bind You Satan" you do is not going to do anything but give you a sore throat.

We are told that the source of our energy is not within ourselves. That is good to know, because there are times when our energy runs low. We are told, however, that we are to "be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might." This means that we draw our strength from the "power of His might." This sounds redundant on the surface, but when you understand that the word "might" means "force, strength and ability", and that the word "power" refers to God's "dominion and sovereign ability to exercise His power." Then it is easy to see how the Lord can strengthen and energize those who place their trust in Him.

2Timothy 2:14 Of these things put them in remembrance, charging them before the Lord that they strive not about words to no profit, but to the subverting of the hearers.

2Timothy 2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

2Timothy 2:16 But shun profane and vain babblings: for they will increase unto more ungodliness.

We are to put on the whole armor of God everyday. We need to prepare daily for the fight that we face everyday. We need not to ever give up and have that determination embedded everyday upon our hearts, and make no room for Satan and his angels. ALSO PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER IN THESE LAST DAYS....

Ephesians 6:10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might.

Ephesians 6:11 Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.

Ephesians 6:12 For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.

Ephesians 6:13 Wherefore take unto you the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

Ephesians 6:14 Stand therefore, having your loins girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness;

Ephesians 6:15 And your feet shod with the preparation of the gospel of peace;

Ephesians 6:16 Above all, taking the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked.

Ephesians 6:17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God:

Ephesians 6:18 Praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints;

Ephesians 6:19 And for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel,

Ephesians 6:20 For which I am an ambassador in bonds: that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

Revelation 12:9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Revelation 12:10 And I heard a loud voice saying in heaven, Now is come salvation, and strength, and the kingdom of our God, and the power of his Christ: for the accuser of our brethren is cast down, which accused them before our God day and night.

Ephesians 4:13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:

Ephesians 4:14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;

Ephesians 4:15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

Ephesians 4:16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.

1Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

1Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

1Peter 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

2Corinthians 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

2Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

2Corinthians 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

Genesis 3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?

Genesis 3:2 And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:

Genesis 3:3 But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

Genesis 3:4 And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:

Genesis 3:5 For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.

Genesis 3:6 And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat.

Job 1:6 Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the LORD, and Satan came also among them.

Job 1:7 And the LORD said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

Job 1:8 And the LORD said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Job 1:9 Then Satan answered the LORD, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

Job 1:10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

Job 1:11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

Job 1:12 And the LORD said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the LORD.

WORK, FOR THE NIGHT IS COMING

Work, for the night is coming,

Work through the morning hours;

Work while the dew is sparkling,

Work ’mid springing flowers;

Work when the day grows brighter,

Work in the glowing sun;

Work, for the night is coming,

When man’s work is done.

Work, for the night is coming,

Work through the sunny noon;

Fill brightest hours with labor,

Rest comes sure and soon.

Give every flying minute,

Something to keep in store;

Work, for the night is coming,

When man works no more.

Work, for the night is coming,

Under the sunset skies;

While their bright tints are glowing,

Work, for daylight flies.

Work till the last beam fadeth,

Fadeth to shine no more;

Work, while the night is darkening,

When man’s work is o’er.

LORD, SPEAK TO ME

Lord, speak to me, that I may speak

In living echoes of Thy tone;

As Thou hast sought, so let me seek

Thy erring children lost and lone.

O lead me, Lord, that I may lead

The wandering and the wavering feet;

O feed me, Lord, that I may feed

Thy hungering ones with manna sweet.

O strengthen me, that while I stand

Firm on the rock, and strong in Thee,

I may stretch out a loving hand

To wrestlers with the troubled sea.

O teach me, Lord, that I may teach

The precious things Thou dost impart;

And wing my words, that they may reach

The hidden depths of many a heart.

O give Thine own sweet rest to me,

That I may speak with soothing power

A word in season, as from Thee

To weary ones in needful hour.

O fill me with Thy fulness, Lord,

Until my very heart o’erflow

In kindling thought and glowing word,

Thy love to tell, Thy praise to show.

O use me, Lord, use even me,

Just as Thou wilt, and when, and where,

Until Thy blessed face I see,

Thy rest, Thy joy, Thy glory share!
