Good Morning~~~Have A Sunday Spent With The Son~~~~ Precious Promise & Prayer

PRECIOUS PROMISE

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

When we start doubting our salvation we need to remind ourselves we did nothing to get our salvation so nothing we can do to lose our salvation. It is faith in Jesus, and accepting the free gift of salvation, it is only through Jesus. I heard a Preacher (James Knox) give an example on this someone takes you out to lunch tells you here take this $10. for your lunch it is that easy, however you refuse the ten dollars think I am not taking your charity, I can pay for my own lunch. Some people have such an issue with pride they truly believe they will get to heaven on their own. The Lord tells us no one is good no one is righteous our very best is as filthy rags. (Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away).

Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

PRECIOUS PRAYER

Act 4:28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

Act 4:29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

Act 4:30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

Act 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Act 4:32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

Act 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

As children of the Heavenly Father, the Mighty God, we need to pray this also. We need to ask for boldness, to ask for a bold spirit to go out into the world and tell of our Precious Savior, Our Jesus what he did on Calvary and Why. Give hope to the hopeless, show the lost how they can find Heaven and know for sure.

SOFTLY AND TENDERLY

Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling,

Calling for you and for me;

See, on the portals He’s waiting and watching,

Watching for you and for me.

Come home, come home,

You who are weary, come home;

Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,

Calling, O sinner, come home!

Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading,

Pleading for you and for me?

Why should we linger and heed not His mercies,

Mercies for you and for me?

Come home, come home,

You who are weary, come home;

Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,

Calling, O sinner, come home!

Time is now fleeting, the moments are passing,

Passing from you and from me;

Shadows are gathering, deathbeds are coming,

Coming for you and for me.

Come home, come home,

You who are weary, come home;

Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,

Calling, O sinner, come home!

O for the wonderful love He has promised,

Promised for you and for me!

Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon,

Pardon for you and for me.

Come home, come home,

You who are weary, come home;

Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,

Calling, O sinner, come home!

O TO BE LIKE THEE

O to be like Thee! blessed Redeemer;

This is my constant longing and prayer;

Gladly I’ll forfeit all of earth’s treasures,

Jesus, Thy perfect likeness to wear.

O to be like Thee! O to be like Thee!

Blessed Redeemer, pure as Thou art;

Come in Thy sweetness, come in Thy fullness;

Stamp Thine own image deep on my heart.

O to be like Thee! full of compassion,

Loving, forgiving, tender and kind,

Helping the helpless, cheering the fainting,

Seeking the wand’ring sinners to find.

O to be like Thee! lowly in spirit,

Holy and harmless, patient and brave;

Meekly enduring cruel reproaches,

Willing to suffer, others to save.

O to be like Thee! Lord, I am coming,

Now to receive th’ anointing divine;

All that I am and have I am bringing;

Lord, from this moment all shall be Thine.

O to be like Thee! While I am pleading

Pour out Thy Spirit, fill with Thy love.

Make me a temple meet for Thy dwelling,

Fit for a life which Thou wouldst approve.

Good Morning~~~~Have A Blessed Saturday~~~~A Promise & Prayer

A PRECIOUS PROMISE

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

I have talked with people who say "I am not reading the Bible I don't understand it" or "its my Pastor's job to teach me" well the Lord tells us its everyone' responsibility to open the word, read, and study. These two beautiful promises tell us he will show us what we need to know. He will give us wisdom. He tells us to check the scriptures whenever we do hear teaching. A good preacher will tell his congregation go home and check what I am telling you. The Lord, Our Heavenly Father is so wonderful, merciful to us far better than we deserve. He has so many promises for us, and yet we get so caught up with self more often than not we fail him daily. Read the word so much valuable information far more than anything this world has. Don't Let His Precious word Sit On A Self Covered In Dust Read It, Grow, Share It!!!

A PRECIOUS PRAYER

1Kings 19:1 And Ahab told Jezebel all that Elijah had done, and withal how he had slain all the prophets with the sword.

1Kings 19:2 Then Jezebel sent a messenger unto Elijah, saying, So let the gods do to me, and more also, if I make not thy life as the life of one of them by to morrow about this time.

1Kings 19:3 And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there.

1Kings 19:4 But he himself went a day's journey into the wilderness, and came and sat down under a juniper tree: and he requested for himself that he might die; and said, It is enough; now, O LORD, take away my life; for I am not better than my fathers.

Elijah had prayed for death he was telling the LORD I am no better than my Fathers. However the LORD did not answer his prayer. The Lord knows what needs to be done more than we do. He knows and sees the whole picture we don't. He and he alone decides who dies and lives not us. He has a plan for each of his children.

FAITH IS THE VICTORY

Encamped along the hills of light,

Ye Christian soldiers, rise.

And press the battle ere the night

Shall veil the glowing skies.

Against the foe in vales below

Let all our strength be hurled.

Faith is the victory, we know,

That overcomes the world.

Faith is the victory! Faith is the victory!

O glorious victory, that overcomes the world.

His banner over us is love,

Our sword the Word of God.

We tread the road the saints above

With shouts of triumph trod.

By faith, they like a whirlwind’s breath,

Swept on o’er every field.

The faith by which they conquered death

Is still our shining shield.

Faith is the victory! Faith is the victory!

O glorious victory, that overcomes the world.

On every hand the foe we find

Drawn up in dread array.

Let tents of ease be left behind,

And onward to the fray.

Salvation’s helmet on each head,

With truth all girt about,

The earth shall tremble ’neath our tread,

And echo with our shout.

Faith is the victory! Faith is the victory!

O glorious victory, that overcomes the world.

To him that overcomes the foe,

White raiment shall be giv’n.

Before the angels he shall know

His name confessed in Heav’n.

Then onward from the hill of light,

Our hearts with love aflame,

We’ll vanquish all the hosts of night,

In Jesus’ conqu’ring Name.

Faith is the victory! Faith is the victory!

O glorious victory, that overcomes the world.

LOYALTY TO CHRIST

From over hill and plain there comes the signal strain,

’Tis loyalty, loyalty, loyalty to Christ;

Its music rolls along, the hills take up the song,

Of loyalty, loyalty, yes, loyalty to Christ.

“On to victory! On to victory!”

Cries our great Commander, “On!”

We’ll move at His command,

We’ll soon possess the land,

Through loyalty, loyalty,

Yes, loyalty to Christ.

O hear, ye brave, the sound that moves the earth around,

’Tis loyalty, loyalty, loyalty to Christ;

Arise to dare and do, ring out the watchword true,

Of loyalty, loyalty, yes, loyalty to Christ.

“On to victory! On to victory!”

Cries our great Commander, “On!”

We’ll move at His command,

We’ll soon possess the land,

Through loyalty, loyalty,

Yes, loyalty to Christ.

Come, join our loyal throng, we’ll rout the giant wrong,

’Tis loyalty, loyalty, loyalty to Christ;

Where Satan’s banners float we’ll send the bugle note,

Of loyalty, loyalty, yes, loyalty to Christ.

“On to victory! On to victory!”

Cries our great Commander, “On!”

We’ll move at His command,

We’ll soon possess the land,

Through loyalty, loyalty,

Yes, loyalty to Christ.

The strength of youth we lay at Jesus’ feet today,

’Tis loyalty, loyalty, loyalty to Christ;

His Gospel we’ll proclaim, throughout the world’s domain,

Of loyalty, loyalty, yes, loyalty to Christ.

“On to victory! On to victory!”

Cries our great Commander, “On!”

We’ll move at His command,

We’ll soon possess the land,

Through loyalty, loyalty,

Yes, loyalty to Christ.

Good Morning~~~Have A Faithful Friday~~~For Him

Live This Life Completely For The Lord: In Luke 16 we read about a rich man who was all about himself, and he after death suffered the consequences of the life he chose. It wasn't wrong that he was rich, had nice things, what was wrong was he ignored the Lord and he most likely felt he had it all so he in no way needed the Lord. He got what he wanted eternal separation from the Lord.

Jesus described him as one who lived in luxury every day, providing for himself the best that money could buy. caring nothing of others, and certainly not concerned for eternity. I believe this is why sometimes the Lord doesn't answer every pray we pray, and why the verse in:

Matthew 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God. When we are wealthy or have much its harder to give it up and follow Jesus, it is more difficult to focus on the Lord we get too busy focusing on stuff, making sure people don't take what is ours.

The Lord wasn't upset with him because he was wealthy, he was upset because he rejected the Lord and money became his god.We are here to serve the Lord we are to love him with our whole hearts. When we put money, wealth, things, people before the Lord it does anger him. In this case he never even trusted Jesus his money, and treasures were his god, he never was concerned about eternity, and after death it was too late.

Scripture says we were created to be in a relationship with the Father through faith in His Son. The rich man ignored the Heavenly Father, and paid the ultimate price. Our eternal destiny depends on our decision about Christ, and the price he paid on Calvary for our sins. What wealth is in our name here on eath will do us no good in eternity. What toys, and homes we own do no good, and will burn up in the end.

Despite what our culture, and the local therapists tells us, life is not about us. It’s about having a relationship with the Lord. Whoever accepts Christ’s gift of salvation will live eternally with Him in heaven. Those who reject Christ will suffer. Here on earth people look at the rich and famous get in where the middle class and poor can't, well it does't work that way with the Lord he sees us all the same; rich, poor, white, black, hispanic, asian, skinny, fat, tall, short. If you know any spiritually shortsighted people, pray that they will trust in Jesus.

Matthew 19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

Luke 16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

Luke 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

Luke 16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

Luke 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Luke 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Luke 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Luke 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

Luke 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Luke 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Luke 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

1John 2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

1John 2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.

1John 2:17 And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.

1John 2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as ye have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.

1John 2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.

1John 2:20 But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things.

1John 2:21 I have not written unto you because ye know not the truth, but because ye know it, and that no lie is of the truth.

1John 2:22 Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denieth the Father and the Son.

1John 2:23 Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but) he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also.

1John 2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.

1John 2:25 And this is the promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.

1John 2:26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.

1John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

1John 2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.

1John 2:29 If ye know that he is righteous, ye know that every one that doeth righteousness is born of him.

Love,

Cheryl

OH HOW I LOVE JESUS

There is a name I love to hear,

I love to sing its worth;

it sounds like music in my ear,

the sweetest name on earth.

O how I love Jesus,

O how I love Jesus,

O how I love Jesus,

because he first loved me!

It tells me of a Savior's love,

who died to set me free;

it tells me of his precious blood,

the sinner's perfect plea.

O how I love Jesus,

O how I love Jesus,

O how I love Jesus,

because he first loved me!

It tells of one whose loving heart

can feel my deepest woe;

who in each sorrow bears a part

that none can bear below.

O how I love Jesus,

O how I love Jesus,

O how I love Jesus,

because he first loved me!

MORE LOVE FOR THEE

More love to Thee, O Christ, more love to Thee!

Hear Thou the prayer I make on bended knee.

This is my earnest plea: More love, O Christ, to Thee;

More love to Thee, more love to Thee!

Once earthly joy I craved, sought peace and rest;

Now Thee alone I seek, give what is best.

This all my prayer shall be: More love, O Christ to Thee;

More love to Thee, more love to Thee!

Let sorrow do its work, come grief or pain;

Sweet are Thy messengers, sweet their refrain,

When they can sing with me: More love, O Christ, to Thee;

More love to Thee, more love to Thee!

Then shall my latest breath whisper Thy praise;

This be the parting cry my heart shall raise;

This still its prayer shall be: More love, O Christ to Thee;

More love to Thee, more love to Thee!

Attention

Good Morning!!! Have A Blessed Thursday!!! Attention

Focus Our Attention On The Lord:  The Lord wants us to be aware of him and to be focused on him, not on ourselves and things in this world. In the word we see a few places where the Lord literally and figuratively shook peoples life to wake them up. To gain our attention he will do things that will sure wake us up. Mt Sinai quaked before Moses recieved the Ten Commandments, in Haggai we see he told Judah he would shake things up by over-throwing kingdoms, armies, and nations. In the New Testament remember the Great Earth Quake as Jesus died on the cross? The earth opened up, graves were opened, the veil of the temple was rent in twain.

However these type things aren't simply tactics of the past. I believe the Lord still shakes the world today. We look at some of the events that have taken place in our modern world, Tsunamis, great earthquakes, famines, aids, disasters across this world I believe the hand of the Lord is in many of them if not all of them. Some will say but he is a loving God, and he is, but he also wants to wake up the people from sin, from the road they are on. He would have none go to hell, the eternal pit of fire,torment and pain.

Yet current issues will seem mild compared to the disasters and epidemics that will take place during the tribulation (Rev. 6). At that time, judgments of all kinds will be unleashed on the earth in order to get people’s attention.

The Mighty God, the Lord of lords, King of kings, is sending the world a message: Mankind is not in control. Right now in this world Satan is in control and we can't serve two masters decide whom you are going to serve and stay in line and serve. The time has come that we need to stay in line, no getting out of line anymore our advesary is waiting and longing to devour us. If we are saved, born-again we have our eternal security. However he can get his grips into us and make life miserable. He wants to make us useless for the Lord, he wants the world to see us fail, and look like the rest of the world. STAY IN LINE don't go back for something you miss. LOOK FORWARD, SERVE THE FATHER, if you need something LET HIM GET IT FOR YOU!!!!!

Does the Lord have your attention? Don’t wait for Him to take drastic measures. Be sure to give Him your undivided attention each day. He first loved you, hespilled his blood for you, and gave you the free gift of salvation. The world gave you nothing but grief whom are you going to serve until your soul is called home?

I LOVE YOU, and JESUS CHRIST LOVES YOU MORE : )

Haggai 2:20 And again the word of the LORD came unto Haggai in the four and twentieth day of the month, saying,

Haggai 2:21 Speak to Zerubbabel, governor of Judah, saying, I will shake the heavens and the earth;

Haggai 2:22 And I will overthrow the throne of kingdoms, and I will destroy the strength of the kingdoms of the heathen; and I will overthrow the chariots, and those that ride in them; and the horses and their riders shall come down, every one by the sword of his brother.

Matthew 27:49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elias will come to save him.

Matthew 27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the ghost.

Matthew 27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

Matthew 27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

Matthew 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

Matthew 27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

Hebrews 12:25 See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven:

Hebrews 12:26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he hath promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

Hebrews 12:27 And this word, Yet once more, signifieth the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

Hebrews 12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

Hebrews 12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.

Exodus 19:18 And mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

Exodus 19:19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spake, and God answered him by a voice.

Exodus 19:20 And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

Exodus 19:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.

Acts 4:30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

Acts 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Acts 4:32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

BEULAH LAND

I’ve reached the land of corn and wine,

And all its riches freely mine;

Here shines undimmed one blissful day,

For all my night has passed away.

O Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land,

As on thy highest mount I stand,

I look away across the sea,

Where mansions are prepared for me,

And view the shining glory shore,

My Heav’n, my home forever more!

My Savior comes and walks with me,

And sweet communion here have we;

He gently leads me by His hand,

For this is Heaven’s border land.

O Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land,

As on thy highest mount I stand,

I look away across the sea,

Where mansions are prepared for me,

And view the shining glory shore,

My Heav’n, my home forever more!

A sweet perfume upon the breeze,

Is borne from ever vernal trees,

And flow’rs, that never fading grow

Where streams of life forever flow.

O Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land,

As on thy highest mount I stand,

I look away across the sea,

Where mansions are prepared for me,

And view the shining glory shore,

My Heav’n, my home forever more!

The zephyrs seem to float to me,

Sweet sounds to Heaven’s melody,

As angels with the white robed throng

Join in the sweet redemption song.

O Beulah Land, sweet Beulah Land,

As on thy highest mount I stand,

I look away across the sea,

Where mansions are prepared for me,

And view the shining glory shore,

My Heav’n, my home forever more!

A MIGHTY FORTRESS IS OUR GOD

A mighty fortress is our God, a bulwark never failing;

Our helper He, amid the flood of mortal ills prevailing:

For still our ancient foe doth seek to work us woe;

His craft and power are great, and, armed with cruel hate,

On earth is not his equal.

Did we in our own strength confide, our striving would be losing;

Were not the right Man on our side, the Man of God’s own choosing:

Dost ask who that may be? Christ Jesus, it is He;

Lord Sabaoth, His name, from age to age the same,

And He must win the battle.

And though this world, with devils filled, should threaten to undo us,

We will not fear, for God hath willed His truth to triumph through us:

The Prince of Darkness grim, we tremble not for him;

His rage we can endure, for lo, his doom is sure,

One little word shall fell him.

That word above all earthly powers, no thanks to them, abideth;

The Spirit and the gifts are ours through Him who with us sideth:

Let goods and kindred go, this mortal life also;

The body they may kill: God’s truth abideth still,

His kingdom is forever.

How Do You Pray

Posted by Cheryl on October 15, 2014 at 8:25 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning~~~~Have A Wonderful Wednesday~~~~Patience

How Do We Sound When We Go To The Lord In Prayer?   When we go before the Lord in prayer in times of trouble are we sounding like doubting Thomas, like cry-babies not truly believing the Lord will help? Do we sound like poor me I have this problem Lord and it is worst than anyone elses ever. When we read our Bible (and in order to understand about answered prayer thats one way to get answered prayer). We see how well many great prayer warriors in the past went to the Lord in prayer, one was in 2Chronicles his name being Jehoshaphat. When we read this section he prays how others went before the Lord before him. He talks of how the Lord rid Israel of heathen, evil people before. How he gave this land to Abraham, and how evil people were coming again. Jehoshaphat ordered a fast throughout the whole nation. He did not pray telling the Lord how awful he felt and how he couldn't face this problem and he would just die if these bad people came in and took over. When he ends his prayer he tells the Lord we don't know what to do but their eyes are on him. This is the way we need to be praying. We need to fast and if because of medical issues we can't not eat anything fast part of the day, or give up sugar for a week, a special treat you enjoy.

Prayer is a very important part of life. We must do it with the right heart attitude. Some will use it as a gossip session this is wrong, some will use it to prove a point, again wrong, some will use it as a look at how good I am WRONG!!! This is time to go before the Lord's holy throne open up your heart, praise him, give him honor, glory and praise, ask forgiveness, give request for others, ask for self, and for his will, and thank him. Sometimes just go before him spend time thanking him and praising him for who he is and what he has done.

In prayer, we choose to either magnify the Lord or our difficulty. Are you concentrating on the faithfulness of the Lord or your overpowering problem and negative feelings? Let’s keep our eyes on Him and wait with complete confidence in him, until we see the great things He will do.

2Ch 20:1 It came to pass after this also, that the children of Moab, and the children of Ammon, and with them other beside the Ammonites, came against Jehoshaphat to battle.

2Ch 20:2 Then there came some that told Jehoshaphat, saying, There cometh a great multitude against thee from beyond the sea on this side Syria; and, behold, they be in Hazazontamar, which is Engedi.

2Ch 20:3 And Jehoshaphat feared, and set himself to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah.

2Ch 20:4 And Judah gathered themselves together, to ask help of the LORD: even out of all the cities of Judah they came to seek the LORD.

2Ch 20:5 And Jehoshaphat stood in the congregation of Judah and Jerusalem, in the house of the LORD, before the new court,

2Ch 20:6 And said, O LORD God of our fathers, art not thou God in heaven? and rulest not thou over all the kingdoms of the heathen? and in thine hand is there not power and might, so that none is able to withstand thee?

2Ch 20:7 Art not thou our God, who didst drive out the inhabitants of this land before thy people Israel, and gavest it to the seed of Abraham thy friend for ever?

2Ch 20:8 And they dwelt therein, and have built thee a sanctuary therein for thy name, saying,

2Ch 20:9 If, when evil cometh upon us, as the sword, judgment, or pestilence, or famine, we stand before this house, and in thy presence, (for thy name is in this house,) and cry unto thee in our affliction, then thou wilt hear and help.

2Ch 20:10 And now, behold, the children of Ammon and Moab and mount Seir, whom thou wouldest not let Israel invade, when they came out of the land of Egypt, but they turned from them, and destroyed them not;

2Ch 20:11 Behold, I say, how they reward us, to come to cast us out of thy possession, which thou hast given us to inherit.

2Ch 20:12 O our God, wilt thou not judge them? for we have no might against this great company that cometh against us; neither know we what to do: but our eyes are upon thee.

2Ch 20:13 And all Judah stood before the LORD, with their little ones, their wives, and their children.

2Ch 20:14 Then upon Jahaziel the son of Zechariah, the son of Benaiah, the son of Jeiel, the son of Mattaniah, a Levite of the sons of Asaph, came the Spirit of the LORD in the midst of the congregation;

2Ch 20:15 And he said, Hearken ye, all Judah, and ye inhabitants of Jerusalem, and thou king Jehoshaphat, Thus saith the LORD unto you, Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God's.

2Ch 20:16 To morrow go ye down against them: behold, they come up by the cliff of Ziz; and ye shall find them at the end of the brook, before the wilderness of Jeruel.

2Ch 20:17 Ye shall not need to fight in this battle: set yourselves, stand ye still, and see the salvation of the LORD with you, O Judah and Jerusalem: fear not, nor be dismayed; to morrow go out against them: for the LORD will be with you.

2Ch 20:18 And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the LORD, worshipping the LORD.

Mark 11:22 And Jesus answering saith unto them, Have faith in God.

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Mark 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.

Mark 11:26 But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses.

THE BEAUTIFUL GARDEN OF PRAYER

There’s a garden where Jesus is waiting,

There’s a place that is wondrously fair,

For it glows with the light of His presence.

’Tis the beautiful garden of prayer.

Oh, the beautiful garden, the garden of prayer!

Oh, the beautiful garden of prayer!

There my Savior awaits, and He opens the gates

To the beautiful garden of prayer.

There’s a garden where Jesus is waiting,

And I go with my burden and care,

Just to learn from His lips words of comfort

In the beautiful garden of prayer.

Oh, the beautiful garden, the garden of prayer!

Oh, the beautiful garden of prayer!

There my Savior awaits, and He opens the gates

To the beautiful garden of prayer.

There’s a garden where Jesus is waiting,

And He bids you to come, meet Him there;

Just to bow and receive a new blessing

In the beautiful garden of prayer.

Oh, the beautiful garden, the garden of prayer!

Oh, the beautiful garden of prayer!

There my Savior awaits, and He opens the gates

To the beautiful garden of prayer.

'TIS THE BLESSED HOUR OF PRAYER

’Tis the blessèd hour of prayer, when our hearts lowly bend,

And we gather to Jesus, our Savior and Friend;

If we come to Him in faith, His protection to share,

What a balm for the weary, O how sweet to be there!

Blessèd hour of prayer, blessèd hour of prayer,

What a balm for the weary, O how sweet to be there!

’Tis the blessèd hour of prayer, when the Savior draws near,

With a tender compassion His children to hear;

When He tells us we may cast at His feet every care,

What a balm for the weary, O how sweet to be there!

Blessèd hour of prayer, blessèd hour of prayer,

What a balm for the weary, O how sweet to be there!

’Tis the blessèd hour of prayer, when the tempted and tried

To the Savior Who loves them their sorrow confide;

With a sympathizing heart He removes every care;

What a balm for the weary, O how sweet to be there!

Blessèd hour of prayer, blessèd hour of prayer,

What a balm for the weary, O how sweet to be there!

At the blessèd hour of prayer, trusting Him, we believe

That the blessing we’re needing we’ll surely receive;

In the fullness of the trust we shall lose every care;

What a balm for the weary, O how sweet to be there!

Blessèd hour of prayer, blessèd hour of prayer,

What a balm for the weary, O how sweet to be there!

Claim the promises

Good Morning!!! Have A Terriffic Tuesday!!! Self-Check

Ready To Claim A Promise; The Father's Promises to Us His Children are Very Precious; They Remind Us Of His Love For Us As His Children, and His Interest In Our Daily Lives. They also provide hope, and daily encouragement through good, and tough times. However we should do something before we call upon the Father and ask for that promise we are in need of. We really need to check ourself in three areas of our walk: OBEDIENCE, FAITH, and PATIENCE

The most important thing is have we trusted Jesus Christ as Our Lord and Savior? Has there been a time in our life we have realized we needed him as savior, no heaven without Jesus, called upon him, repented, and asked him for forgiveness?

Obedience to the Lord is also necessary. If we are willfully disobeying the Lord, he is in no way obligated to fulfill his promises to us. If you promised your child a special treat after school found out they were disobedient all day, are you going to still provide that special treat?

Patience is also important, remember our Lord, our Heavenly Father operates on his timetable not on ours. He is not part of the microwave generation, he is not part of the the children are in charge mindset. His timetable works with his perfect plans.

Sometimes it seems like the Lord isn't keeping his promise well we need to re-read the scripture and look at self, it is always us never the Lord. He never lies, never breaks a promise. If it isn't coming into place it is either we are impatient, we are not doing what we need to be doing, the promise doesn't apply or is not the right time. The Holy Spirit is our instructor, who will teach us about the Lord’s promises. He wants to build our faith through Scripture, provide the strength necessary to obey, and develop in us the fruit of patience. These qualities help us as we look to Lord to fulfill His promises.

We need to get in the word, get in prayer, get right with our Lord. He has done so much for each one of us, more than any of us deserve, I believe all of us need to be obedient, faithful, and patient with our Heavenly Father look at what he has done for each of us; and none us deserve any of the great things we have recieved starting with the free gift of salvation.

2Peter 1:3 According as his divine power hath given unto us all things that pertain unto life and godliness, through the knowledge of him that hath called us to glory and virtue:

2Peter 1:4 Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.

2Peter 1:5 And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge;

2Peter 1:6 And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness;

2Peter 1:7 And to godliness brotherly kindness; and to brotherly kindness charity.

2Peter 1:8 For if these things be in you, and abound, they make you that ye shall neither be barren nor unfruitful in the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2Peter 1:9 But he that lacketh these things is blind, and cannot see afar off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his old sins.

2Peter 1:10 Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall:

2Peter 1:11 For so an entrance shall be ministered unto you abundantly into the everlasting kingdom of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.

1Peter 3:8 Finally, be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous:

1Peter 3:9 Not rendering evil for evil, or railing for railing: but contrariwise blessing; knowing that ye are thereunto called, that ye should inherit a blessing.

1Peter 3:10 For he that will love life, and see good days, let him refrain his tongue from evil, and his lips that they speak no guile:

1Peter 3:11 Let him eschew evil, and do good; let him seek peace, and ensue it.

1Peter 3:12 For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

1Peter 3:13 And who is he that will harm you, if ye be followers of that which is good?

1Peter 3:14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

1Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

1Peter 3:16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

1Peter 3:17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

1Peter 3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:

Cheryl

O JESUS THOU ART STANDING

O Jesus, Thou art standing, outside the fast closed door,

In lowly patience waiting to pass the threshold o’er:

Shame on us, Christian brothers, His Name and sign who bear,

O shame, thrice shame upon us, to keep Him standing there!

O Jesus, Thou art knocking; and lo, that hand is scarred,

And thorns Thy brow encircle, and tears Thy face have marred:

O love that passeth knowledge, so patiently to wait!

O sin that hath no equal, so fast to bar the gate!

O Jesus, Thou art pleading in accents meek and low,

“I died for you, My children, and will you treat Me so?”

O Lord, with shame and sorrow we open now the door;

Dear Savior, enter, enter, and leave us nevermore.

WHITER THAN SNOW

Lord Jesus, I long to be perfectly whole;

I want Thee forever to live in my soul.

Break down every idol, cast out every foe;

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Whiter than snow, yes, whiter than snow.

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Lord Jesus, let nothing unholy remain,

Apply Thine own blood and extract ev’ry stain;

To get this blest cleansing, I all things forego—

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Whiter than snow, yes, whiter than snow.

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Lord Jesus, look down from Thy throne in the skies,

And help me to make a complete sacrifice.

I give up myself, and whatever I know,

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Whiter than snow, yes, whiter than snow.

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Lord Jesus, for this I most humbly entreat,

I wait, blessèd Lord, at Thy crucified feet.

By faith, for my cleansing, I see Thy blood flow,

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Whiter than snow, yes, whiter than snow.

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Lord Jesus, Thou seest I patiently wait,

Come now, and within me a new heart create;

To those who have sought Thee, Thou never saidst “No,”

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Whiter than snow, yes, whiter than snow.

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

The blessing by faith, I receive from above;

O glory! my soul is made perfect in love;

My prayer has prevailed, and this moment I know,

The blood is applied, I am whiter than snow.

Whiter than snow, yes, whiter than snow.

Now wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

I'LL GO WHERE YOU WANT ME TO GO

It may not be on the mountain’s height, or over the stormy sea;

It may not be at the battle’s front my Lord will have need of me;

But if by a still, small voice He calls to paths I do not know,

I’ll answer, dear Lord, with my hand in Yours,

I’ll go where You want me to go.

I’ll go where You want me to go, dear Lord,

O’er mountain, or plain, or sea;

I’ll say what You want me to say, dear Lord,

I’ll be what You want me to be.

Perhaps today there are loving words which Jesus would have me speak;

There may be now, in the paths of sin, some wand’rer whom I should seek.

O Savior, if You will be my Guide, though dark and rugged the way,

My voice shall echo the message sweet,

I’ll say what You want me to say.

I’ll go where You want me to go, dear Lord,

O’er mountain, or plain, or sea;

I’ll say what You want me to say, dear Lord,

I’ll be what You want me to be.

There’s surely somewhere a lowly place in earth’s harvest fields so wide,

Where I may labor through life’s short day for Jesus, the Crucified.

So, trusting my all unto Your care, I know You always love me!

I’ll do Your will with a heart sincere,

I’ll be what You want me to be.

PROMISE & PRAYER

GoodMorning~~~Have A Blessed Monday~~~Promise & Prayer:

A PRECIOUS PROMISE

Philippianns 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Psalm 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

1Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

Matthew 6:26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

Matthew 6:27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

Matthew 6:28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

Matthew 6:29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

Matthew 6:30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

Matthew 6:31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

Matthew 6:32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

Matthew 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

Matthew 6:34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

We see in these verses the Lord promises to take care of us his children. We also don't see where he promises us to become millionaires if we do as some of the false teachers tell us to do. There are many false teachers teaching a false doctrine. The Lord promises to take care of our daily needs. The Lord never tells us we will become rich if we do this, that, and something else. He is our Father and as a GOOD, RESPONSIBLE Father he takes care of our needs. He knows what we have need of, he knows what will help us, he knows what will cause us to stumble, and will hurt us.

A PRECIOUS PRAYER

Matthew 9:18 While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped him, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

Matthew 9:19 And Jesus arose, and followed him, and so did his disciples.

Matthew 9:23 And when Jesus came into the ruler's house, and saw the minstrels and the people making a noise,

Matthew 9:24 He said unto them, Give place: for the maid is not dead, but sleepeth. And they laughed him to scorn.

Matthew 9:25 But when the people were put forth, he went in, and took her by the hand, and the maid arose.

I am so grateful for the Bible to see all the Lord did and will continue to do. It also shows us how even back then people seen first hand Jesus and still laughed, mocked, and how two thousand years later they are still doing that. Well soon and very soon all knees shall bow, all tongues shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, no more mocking. Who are we standing with? Are we willing to defend the Bible? The Gospel? Are we praying for the Lost, the Mockers?

THE GREAT PHYSICIAN

The Great Physician now is near,

The sympathizing Jesus;

He speaks the drooping heart to cheer,

Oh, hear the voice of Jesus! Sweetest note in seraph song;

Sweetest name on mortal tongue;

Sweetest carol ever sung:

Jesus, blessed Jesus!

Your many sins are all forgiv’n,

Oh, hear the voice of Jesus;

The veil ’twixt you and God is riven,

Redemption wrought by Jesus.

All glory to the dying Lamb!

I now believe in Jesus;

I love the blessed Savior’s name,

I love the name of Jesus.

His name dispels my guilt and fear,

No other name but Jesus;

Oh, how my soul delights to hear

The precious name of Jesus!

THE LORD'S MY SHEPHERD

The Lord’s my Shepherd, I’ll not want.

He makes me down to lie

In pastures green; He leadeth me

The quiet waters by.

My soul He doth restore again;

And me to walk doth make

Within the paths of righteousness,

Even for His own Name’s sake.

Yea, though I walk in death’s dark vale,

Yet will I fear no ill;

For Thou art with me; and Thy rod

And staff my comfort still.

My table Thou hast furnishèd

In presence of my foes;

My head Thou dost with oil anoint,

And my cup overflows.

Goodness and mercy all my life

Shall surely follow me;

And in God’s house forevermore

My dwelling place shall be.

PROMISE & PRAYER

Good Morning~~~Have A Wonderful Saturday~~~A Precious Promise & Prayer:

PRECIOUS PROMISE

Matthew 18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Our Heavenly Father loves us so much. However keep in mind no where in the word does he promise us he will make us of great financial wealth, great social standing, great leaders over many. Are any of these evil? Not necessarily, but in some of us it can change our personality into someone that we ought not to be. I know a few people that came into money they became people who no longer needed the Lord, and no longer wanted to associate with us the "inferior" class. He will however answer our prayers in his will, and loves to hear our prayers. He knows what we need more than we do, he knows what what will help us, and hurt us more than we do. We need to thank him daily for his love, grace, and mercy. We need to thank him that he allows and wants us to come before his HOLY throne give our needs, petitions, wants before him, and answers them. Praise The Lord Daily!!!!

PRECIOUS PRAYER

Genesis 28:20 And Jacob vowed a vow, saying, If God will be with me, and will keep me in this way that I go, and will give me bread to eat, and raiment to put on,

Genesis 28:21 So that I come again to my father's house in peace; then shall the LORD be my God:

Genesis 28:22 And this stone, which I have set for a pillar, shall be God's house: and of all that thou shalt give me I will surely give the tenth unto thee.

Genesis 32:28 And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

Genesis 32:29 And Jacob asked him, and said, Tell me, I pray thee, thy name. And he said, Wherefore is it that thou dost ask after my name? And he blessed him there.

Genesis 32:30 And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: for I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.

Genesis 32:31 And as he passed over Penuel the sun rose upon him, and he halted upon his thigh.

Genesis 32:32 Therefore the children of Israel eat not of the sinew which shrank, which is upon the hollow of the thigh, unto this day: because he touched the hollow of Jacob's thigh in the sinew that shrank.

The LORD answered Jacob which the LORD changed his name to Israel and he has been protected ever since. Prayer is a very important part of a Christians life, and yet some don't even bother with it. Some will say "prayer is not for me" how sad first and foremost it is our lifeline with our Father. Prayer can truly make much needed changes, bring the lost to salvation, protect our missionaries, our KJV Churches and our Pastors. Protect our Precious Children.

GOD'S FINAL CALL

Someday you’ll hear God’s Final Call to you

To take his offer of salvation true-

This could be it my friend if you but knew-

God’s Final Call, God’s Final Call

How can you live another day in sin,

Thinking some day with Christ you will begin?

O will you hear above the world’s loud din-

God’s Final Call, God’s Final Call

If you reject God’s Final Call of grace,

You’ll have no chance your footsteps to retrace

All hope will then be gone and doom you’ll face.

O hear his call! God’s Final Call

VICTORY THRU GRACE

Conquering now and still to conquer, rideth a King in His might;

Leading the host of all the faithful into the midst of the fight;

See them with courage advancing, clad in their brilliant array,

Shouting the Name of their Leader, hear them exultingly say:

Not to the strong is the battle, not to the swift is the race,

Yet to the true and the faithful vict’ry is promised through grace.

Conquering now and still to conquer, who is this wonderful King?

Whence are the armies which He leadeth, while of His glory they sing?

He is our Lord and Redeemer, Savior and Monarch divine;

They are the stars that forever bright in His kingdom shall shine.

Conquering now and still to conquer, Jesus, Thou Ruler of all,

Thrones and their scepters all shall perish,

crowns and their splendor shall fall,

Yet shall the armies Thou leadest, faithful and true to the last,

Find in Thy mansions eternal rest, when their warfare is past.

DIE TO SELF

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Thursday!!! Self-Denial:

We Need To Die To Self In Obedience; Jesus Christ Was Obedient to The Father Unto Death!!!! While some Christians alive today may be called upon to give up their life for the glory of God, most believers won’t face martyrdom. The death required of us is no less real though. We are to die to self I am not saying we need to die physically but I am saying we need to die to this flesh. We need to die to our selfishness, we need to give up our wants and serve the Lord, Our Father in Heaven. Instead of being obsessed with self get obsessed with serving the Lord.

Human beings are an independent, selfish group. We want things our way, in our time, on our terms often times not thinking of others, and not of what the Lord wants of us. However Jesus said that anyone who wanted to follow Him must deny him or herself. Of course, that covers obvious issues like sinful habits and evil thoughts. But it also means we at times decline good things because they come at the wrong time or don’t fit God’s plan. How many people are going to say no to a brand new car, new home, new job with more money because after prayer realized at that time it wasn't what the Lord wanted? I actually know a Pastor who loves the Lord very much and his Family, and Church that said no to a new position because it would effect his, time with the Lord, his family and the Church the Lord gave him, That is dying to self, and living for the Lord. That is a example of what we are soppose to do.

To an outside observer, the Christian’s commitment to obey must seem strange, especially when hands emptied by self-denial take up a cross instead. Sometimes following the Lord involves suffering. What bystanders can’t see or experience is the deep satisfaction believers gain from doing what is right. The world doesn't understand the joy and peace we get from serving the Lord the proper way. They don't understand the fulfillment we get from dying to self and living for the Lord.

We as Christians often time forget we are here to glorify the Lord, We are here to serve him. Our time to relax is in eternity forever with him not here with all the lost needing the gospel. Here we are to live for him not for us. Here we are to focus on things of eternity, things for our Precious Heavenly Father he who loved us so much died on the cross at Calvary to wash our sins away the only way to Heaven. Even when self-denial hurts, obeying God brings joy. Believers who prioritize submission to Him will know what I mean. Contentment is found in drawing close to the Lord, sensing His approval, and looking forward to hearing, “Well done, good and faithful servant!”

OUR LESSON: WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO TODAY? ARE YOU GOING TO LIVE FOR YOU TODAY? OR ARE YOU GOING TO DIE TO SELF AND BE OBEDIENT TODAY?

Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Matthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Matthew 25:20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

Matthew 25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy lord.

Matthew 25:22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Philippians 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

Philippians 2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

Philippians 2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

Philippians 2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

HAVE THINE OWN WAY LORD

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!

Thou art the Potter, I am the clay.

Mold me and make me after Thy will,

While I am waiting, yielded and still.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!

Search me and try me, Master, today!

Whiter than snow, Lord, wash me just now,

As in Thy presence humbly I bow.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!

Wounded and weary, help me, I pray!

Power, all power, surely is Thine!

Touch me and heal me, Savior divine.

Have Thine own way, Lord! Have Thine own way!

Hold o’er my being absolute sway!

Fill with Thy Spirit ’till all shall see

Christ only, always, living in me.

JESUS CALLS US

Jesus calls us, o'er the tumult

Of our life's wild, restless sea;

Day by day His sweet voice soundeth

Saying, "Christian, follow Me;"

As of old, apostles heard it

By the Galilean lake,

Turned from home and toil and kindred,

Leaving all for His dear sake.

Jesus calls us from the worship

Of the vain world's golden store;

From each idol that would keep us,

Saying, "Christian, love Me more."

In our joys and in our sorrows,

Days of toil and hours of ease,

Still He calls, in cares and pleasures,

"Christian, love Me more than these."

Jesus calls us: by Thy mercies,

Saviour, may we hear Thy call,

Give our hearts to Thy obedience,

Serve and love Thee best of all.

Amen.

Prison

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!! Prison

We Often Create Our Own Prison; Often times prison isn't a physical place but something we have created for ourselve out of sin. However good news Jesus went to the cross and purchased our freedom now and for all eternity.

In thinking about the cross, we really need to be thankful for what that free gift gives to us. First of all we need to realize the word tells us in Romans 3:10&11 "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God". So right here shows us for all those who think they can get to heaven on their own good and merit it will not happen EVER. The other thing the cross does is when we trust Jesus as our Savior and the Holy Spirit lives in us, we are free from bondage, when we are walking with the Lord we are not living in bondage, prsion. Often times we put ourselves in prsion by our own sins, by our lifestyle, and we are just stuck there, and the sad part is we are so comfortable we really don't want to be set free. It has been proven in life some life criminals are so comfortable in prison they are set free get out committ a crime and go right back in. Paul explains it this way in Galations 6:14: But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Spiritual liberty is a choice. Our sins are wiped away at salvation, but temptation is not erased. Instead, a believer continually makes decisions to be crucified to wrongdoing—or as Jesus says, to “take up his cross daily and follow Me” The cross is not a burden, but rather a symbol that we are free and forgiven followers of Christ.

The freedom found in salvation is not a secret to keep to ourselves. The Lord gave His followers the Great Commission of reaching others because His is the only message that can transform a slave into a liberated soul destined for heaven. The cross is our only hope for spiritual liberty. One of the saddest things I hear and I have heard it often from family; "Cheryl belief is a very personal thing not to be discussed" WHY first of all it is a joyous celebration, it means no hell but HEAVEN for all eternity, the CHAINS fell off, no prison anymore. Our Belief Should not be Something we are EMBARRASSED of WE should Be Willing To Shout IT FROM THE HILLTOPS. If your relationship with Jesus embarrasses you, you need a heart check and truly see where you stand.

Our Lesson: If you're saved go tell someone what that means today. Tell someone you just got released from prison.

Galations 6:12 As many as desire to make a fair shew in the flesh, they constrain you to be circumcised; only lest they should suffer persecution for the cross of Christ.

Galations 6:13 For neither they themselves who are circumcised keep the law; but desire to have you circumcised, that they may glory in your flesh.

Galations 6:14 But God forbid that I should glory, save in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom the world is crucified unto me, and I unto the world.

Galations 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

Galations 6:16 And as many as walk according to this rule, peace be on them, and mercy, and upon the Israel of God.

Galations 6:17 From henceforth let no man trouble me: for I bear in my body the marks of the Lord Jesus.

Luke 9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

Luke 9:24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

Luke 9:25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

Luke 9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

Luke 9:27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

1Thessalonians 2:8 So being affectionately desirous of you, we were willing to have imparted unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were dear unto us.

1Thessalonians 2:9 For ye remember, brethren, our labour and travail: for labouring night and day, because we would not be chargeable unto any of you, we preached unto you the gospel of God.

1Thessalonians 2:10 Ye are witnesses, and God also, how holily and justly and unblameably we behaved ourselves among you that believe:

1Thessalonians 2:11 As ye know how we exhorted and comforted and charged every one of you, as a father doth his children,

1Thessalonians 2:12 That ye would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.

1Thessalonians 2:13 For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which effectually worketh also in you that believe.

AMAZING GRACE

Amazing grace! How sweet the sound

That saved a wretch like me!

I once was lost, but now am found;

Was blind, but now I see.

’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,

And grace my fears relieved;

How precious did that grace appear

The hour I first believed!

Through many dangers, toils and snares,

I have already come;

’Tis grace hath brought me safe thus far,

And grace will lead me home.

The Lord has promised good to me,

His Word my hope secures;

He will my Shield and Portion be,

As long as life endures.

Yea, when this flesh and heart shall fail,

And mortal life shall cease,

I shall possess, within the veil,

A life of joy and peace.

The earth shall soon dissolve like snow,

The sun forbear to shine;

But God, who called me here below,

Will be forever mine.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years,

Bright shining as the sun,

We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise

Than when we’d first begun.

GLORY TO HIS NAME

Down at the cross where my Savior died,

Down where for cleansing from sin I cried,

There to my heart was the blood applied;

Glory to His Name!

Glory to His Name, glory to His Name:

There to my heart was the blood applied;

Glory to His Name!

I am so wondrously saved from sin,

Jesus so sweetly abides within;

There at the cross where He took me in;

Glory to His Name!

Glory to His Name, glory to His Name:

There to my heart was the blood applied;

Glory to His Name!

Oh, precious fountain that saves from sin,

I am so glad I have entered in;

There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean;

Glory to His Name!

Glory to His Name, glory to His Name:

There to my heart was the blood applied;

Glory to His Name!

Come to this fountain so rich and sweet,

Cast thy poor soul at the Savior’s feet;

Plunge in today, and be made complete;

Glory to His Name!

AND CAN IT BE THAT I SHOULD GAIN

And can it be that I should gain

An interest in the Savior’s blood?

Died He for me, who caused His pain—

For me, who Him to death pursued?

Amazing love! How can it be,

That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

Amazing love! How can it be,

That Thou, my God, shouldst die for me?

’Tis mystery all: th’Immortal dies:

Who can explore His strange design?

In vain the firstborn seraph tries

To sound the depths of love divine.

’Tis mercy all! Let earth adore,

Let angel minds inquire no more.

’Tis mercy all! Let earth adore;

Let angel minds inquire no more.

He left His Father’s throne above

So free, so infinite His grace—

Emptied Himself of all but love,

And bled for Adam’s helpless race:

’Tis mercy all, immense and free,

For O my God, it found out me!

’Tis mercy all, immense and free,

For O my God, it found out me!

Long my imprisoned spirit lay,

Fast bound in sin and nature’s night;

Thine eye diffused a quickening ray—

I woke, the dungeon flamed with light;

My chains fell off, my heart was free,

I rose, went forth, and followed Thee.

My chains fell off, my heart was free,

I rose, went forth, and followed Thee.

Still the small inward voice I hear,

That whispers all my sins forgiven;

Still the atoning blood is near,

That quenched the wrath of hostile Heaven.

I feel the life His wounds impart;

I feel the Savior in my heart.

I feel the life His wounds impart;

I feel the Savior in my heart.

No condemnation now I dread;

Jesus, and all in Him, is mine;

Alive in Him, my living Head,

And clothed in righteousness divine,

Bold I approach th’eternal throne,

And claim the crown, through Christ my own.

Bold I approach th’eternal throne,

And claim the crown, through Christ my own.
