Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!! Jesus Christ

Keep It About Jesus:  Jesus willingly came here through a virgin birth for the sole purpose to die on the cross for the sins of the world. When he did this he took all sins ever committed he who was sinless, spotless, perfect in everyway took them all into the pits of hell. At Christmas time while singing Hymns, Carols many forget he is no longer that baby in the manger, he is no longer a baby. While here on the earth he was tempted as we, BUT never fell. He lived as a perfect example being 100% God he Was also 100% man so he experienced the same as us.

We need to get that old reverence for him, that respect when we go into prayer, that fear to know we are talking to the PERFECT, WONDERFUL, MIGHTY REDEEMER. To fall back in love with our Lord, to remind ourselves what he has done for us, and continues to do daily for us. I know I have said this before and will repeat it a few more times we are here to glorify him, he is not here to glorify us. We need to die to self, let go of self, and serve the Blessed Savior don't keep putting it off, we have no promise of tomorrow.

Have you thought of any New Year Resolutions? I have a few and they are worth keeping. Serve, and Love the Lord like never before. Get up and witness about the Best news ever told and it is the only Truth worth telling. John 3:15-17 such importance, and how often do we truly share it with others? Live life so it speaks of the truth. Let the light of Jesus shine brightly do not cover it under your own light or under some old rags that is dangerous. If you could be a dollar amount on your soul what do you think it would be? To keep it our of hell is a priceless gift, and Jesus paid it all. What can we do to show our thankfulness?

OUR LESSON: MERRY CHRISTMAS, IF YOUR CELEBRATING IT MAKE IT ABOUT JESUS CHRIST!!!!!

Matthew 4:1 Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.

Matthew 4:2 And when he had fasted forty days and forty nights, he was afterward an hungred.

Matthew 4:3 And when the tempter came to him, he said, If thou be the Son of God, command that these stones be made bread.

Matthew 4:4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Matthew 4:5 Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,

Matthew 4:6 And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, He shall give his angels charge concerning thee: and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Matthew 4:7 Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.

Matthew 4:8 Again, the devil taketh him up into an exceeding high mountain, and sheweth him all the kingdoms of the world, and the glory of them;

Matthew 4:9 And saith unto him, All these things will I give thee, if thou wilt fall down and worship me.

Matthew 4:10 Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Matthew 4:11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

John 1:29 The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

Revelation 17:14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Lord of lords, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

1Peter 2:23 Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously:

1Peter 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.

Mar 12:29 And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear, O Israel; The Lord our God is one Lord:

Mar 12:30 And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength: this is the first commandment.

Love,

Cheryl

BE THOU MY VISION

Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;

Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.

Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,

Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;

I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;

Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;

Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;

Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;

Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:

Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,

Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:

Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,

High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of Heaven, my victory won,

May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!

Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,

Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

JESUS PAID IT ALL

I hear the Savior say,

“Thy strength indeed is small;

Child of weakness, watch and pray,

Find in Me thine all in all.”

Jesus paid it all,

All to Him I owe;

Sin had left a crimson stain,

He washed it white as snow.

For nothing good have I

Whereby Thy grace to claim,

I’ll wash my garments white

In the blood of Calv’ry’s Lamb.

Jesus paid it all,

All to Him I owe;

Sin had left a crimson stain,

He washed it white as snow.

And now complete in Him

My robe His righteousness,

Close sheltered ’neath His side,

I am divinely blest.

Jesus paid it all,

All to Him I owe;

Sin had left a crimson stain,

He washed it white as snow.

Lord, now indeed I find

Thy power and Thine alone,

Can change the leper’s spots

And melt the heart of stone.

Jesus paid it all,

All to Him I owe;

Sin had left a crimson stain,

He washed it white as snow.

When from my dying bed

My ransomed soul shall rise,

“Jesus died my soul to save,”

Shall rend the vaulted skies.

Jesus paid it all,

All to Him I owe;

Sin had left a crimson stain,

He washed it white as snow.

And when before the throne

I stand in Him complete,

I’ll lay my trophies down

All down at Jesus’ feet.

Jesus paid it all,

All to Him I owe;

Sin had left a crimson stain,

He washed it white as snow.

Christmas Shoppers

Good Morning~~~Have A Wonderful Tuesday~~~Christmas Shoppers

Why Does The World Celebrate Christmas: Since my illness, and my walking has become very difficult I am not out much in the cold. One thing that always and still bothers me is the worlds attitude this time of year. I watch and listen the shoppers buying gifts, and have one question why are they celebrating CHRISTmas?

Many different scenarios you get the mom with the children who are screaming, and tantrums mom yelling and even cussing, "ok thats it Santa is not bring no presents this year", and we know "Santa never keeps his promises. Them children will wake to lots (more than they need) under the tree, and many tantrums during the grand opening of presents.

Then you get the people waiting in line using my Lord's name in vain (never use Allahs name to swear) because they got the wrong size, and of course it is the clerk behind the counters fault. Someone in a joyful tone will say "MERRY CHRISTMAS" you hear back "HAPPY HOLIDAYS". People enjoying the company's Holiday Party with plenty of Drinks (alcohol and food). Of course no mention of Jesus and his birth, and the reason for his birth.

If we are going to celebrate CHRISTmas lets celebrate Jesus lets not make it a reason for stress, to buy things we can't afford, to drink, and eat as a glutton, to put Santa on a pedestal (lets tell our children Jesus is the only one that can do all that not Santa). If you are someone who refuses to talk of Jesus all year long, to want to know Jesus I feel that it is very hypocritical to celebrate a day that is set aside for his birth. If you are giving and recieving in honour of his birth, I feel your a hypocrite, and have no right to celebrate CHRISTmas.

If you are having a birthday party for your 5year old, and invite friends, family, loved ones, and everyone decides we are going to go down the street and give these things to a different child. We are going to sing to him, and thank the store manager for letting us buy these gifts at his store. Maybe all the children can make cookies and write thank you notes for the store manager too. This example is a bit extreme but it as ridiculous, as most people do every Christmas.

Our Lesson: We teach children to give more praise unto Santa Claus than Our Lord Jesus Christ whose Birth we are suppose to be celebrating.

Luke 2:1 And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed.

Luke 2:2 (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.)

Luke 2:3 And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city.

Luke 2:4 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David [:)]

Luke 2:5 To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child.

Luke 2:6 And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered.

Luke 2:7 And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn.

Luke 2:8 And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

Luke 2:9 And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.

Luke 2:10 And the angel said unto them, Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.

Luke 2:11 For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.

Luke 2:12 And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.

Luke 2:13 And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God, and saying,

Luke 2:14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men.

Luke 2:15 And it came to pass, as the angels were gone away from them into heaven, the shepherds said one to another, Let us now go even unto Bethlehem, and see this thing which is come to pass, which the Lord hath made known unto us.

Luke 2:16 And they came with haste, and found Mary, and Joseph, and the babe lying in a manger.

Luke 2:17 And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.

Luke 2:18 And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.

Luke 2:19 But Mary kept all these things, and pondered them in her heart.

Luke 2:20 And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all the things that they had heard and seen, as it was told unto them.

Luke 4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Exodus 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Luke 10:26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?

Luke 10:27 And he answering said, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy strength, and with all thy mind; and thy neighbour as thyself.

IT CAME UPON A MIDNIGHT CLEAR

It came upon the midnight clear,

That glorious song of old,

From angels bending near the earth,

To touch their harps of gold;

“Peace on the earth, good will to men,

From Heaven’s all gracious King.”

The world in solemn stillness lay,

To hear the angels sing.

Still through the cloven skies they come

With peaceful wings unfurled,

And still their heavenly music floats

O’er all the weary world;

Above its sad and lowly plains,

They bend on hovering wing,

And ever over its Babel sounds

The blessèd angels sing.

Yet with the woes of sin and strife

The world has suffered long;

Beneath the angel strain have rolled

Two thousand years of wrong;

And man, at war with man, hears not

The love-song which they bring;

O hush the noise, ye men of strife

And hear the angels sing.

And ye, beneath life’s crushing load,

Whose forms are bending low,

Who toil along the climbing way

With painful steps and slow,

Look now! for glad and golden hours

Come swiftly on the wing.

O rest beside the weary road,

And hear the angels sing!

For lo! the days are hastening on,

By prophet-bards foretold,

When with the ever circling years

Comes round the age of gold;

When peace shall over all the earth

Its ancient splendors fling,

And the whole world send back the song

Which now the angels sing.

O LITTLE TOWN OF BETHLEHEM

O little town of Bethlehem, how still we see thee lie!

Above thy deep and dreamless sleep the silent stars go by.

Yet in thy dark streets shineth the everlasting Light;

The hopes and fears of all the years are met in thee tonight.

For Christ is born of Mary, and gathered all above,

While mortals sleep, the angels keep their watch of wondering love.

O morning stars together, proclaim the holy birth,

And praises sing to God the King, and peace to men on earth!

How silently, how silently, the wondrous Gift is giv’n;

So God imparts to human hearts the blessings of His Heav’n.

No ear may hear His coming, but in this world of sin,

Where meek souls will receive Him still, the dear Christ enters in.

Where children pure and happy pray to the blessèd Child,

Where misery cries out to Thee, Son of the mother mild;

Where charity stands watching and faith holds wide the door,

The dark night wakes, the glory breaks, and Christmas comes once more.

O holy Child of Bethlehem, descend to us, we pray;

Cast out our sin, and enter in, be born in us today.

We hear the Christmas angels the great glad tidings tell

O come to us, abide with us, our Lord Emmanuel!

THOU DIDST LEAVE THY THRONE

Thou didst leave Thy throne and Thy kingly crown,

When Thou camest to earth for me;

But in Bethlehem’s home was there found no room

For Thy holy nativity.

O come to my heart, Lord Jesus,

There is room in my heart for Thee.

Heaven’s arches rang when the angels sang,

Proclaiming Thy royal degree;

But of lowly birth didst Thou come to earth,

And in great humility.

O come to my heart, Lord Jesus,

There is room in my heart for Thee.

The foxes found rest, and the birds their nest

In the shade of the forest tree;

But Thy couch was the sod, O Thou Son of God,

In the deserts of Galilee.

O come to my heart, Lord Jesus,

There is room in my heart for Thee.

Thou camest, O Lord, with the living Word,

That should set Thy people free;

But with mocking scorn and with crown of thorn,

They bore Thee to Calvary.

O come to my heart, Lord Jesus,

There is room in my heart for Thee.

When the heav’ns shall ring, and her choirs shall sing,

At Thy coming to victory,

Let Thy voice call me home, saying “Yet there is room,

There is room at My side for thee.”

My heart shall rejoice, Lord Jesus,

When Thou comest and callest for me.

O come to my heart, Lord Jesus,

There is room in my heart for Thee

Promises and Prayers

Good Morning~~~Have A Blessed Sunday~~~A Promise & A Prayer

A PRECIOUS PROMISE

Philippians 4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

If we are children of God, the Heavenly Father he promises to supply our every need. Do you doubt the Mighty God? The Heavenly Father? The Lord that cannot lie? Remember we are the ones that break promises, that lie, that think of our self, not the Lord, not the father, not the mighty God. If he promises to supply our every need that is exactly what he will do. Also one more thing our need is not the same as want.

PRAISE THE LORD, THANK YOU LORD!!!!

A PRECIOUS PRAYER

Judges 1:1 Now after the death of Joshua it came to pass, that the children of Israel asked the LORD, saying, Who shall go up for us against the Canaanites first, to fight against them?

Judges 1:2 And the LORD said, Judah shall go up: behold, I have delivered the land into his hand.

Israel prays for guidance, and it is answered because it was in harmony with the will of God for the nation.

GIVE ME JESUS

Take the world, but give me Jesus,

All its joys are but a name;

But His love abideth ever,

Through eternal years the same.

Oh, the height and depth of mercy!

Oh, the length and breadth of love!

Oh, the fullness of redemption,

Pledge of endless life above!

Take the world, but give me Jesus,

Sweetest comfort of my soul;

With my Savior watching o’er me,

I can sing though billows roll.

Take the world, but give me Jesus,

Let me view His constant smile;

Then throughout my pilgrim journey

Light will cheer me all the while.

Take the world, but give me Jesus;

In His cross my trust shall be,

Till, with clearer, brighter vision,

Face to face my Lord I see.

GIVE THEM ALL TO JESUS

Are you tired of chasing pretty rainbows?

Are you tired of spinning round and round?

Wrap up all those shattered dreams of your life

And at the feet of Jesus, lay them down.

Give them all, give them all, give them all to Jesus

Shattered dreams, wounded hearts, and broken toys.

Give them all, give them all, give them all to Jesus

And He will turn your sorrows into joy.

He never said you only see sunshine,

He never said there would be no rain.

He only promised a heart full of singing

About the very thing that once brought pain.

JESUS LOVES EVEN ME

I am so glad that our Father in Heav’n

Tells of His love in the Book He has giv’n;

Wonderful things in the Bible I see,

This is the dearest, that Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves even me.

Though I forget Him, and wander away,

Still He doth love me wherever I stray;

Back to His dear loving arms I do flee,

When I remember that Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves even me.

Oh, if there’s only one song I can sing,

When in His beauty I see the great King,

This shall my song through eternity be,

“Oh, what a wonder that Jesus loves me!”

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves even me.

Jesus loves me, and I know I love Him;

Love brought Him down my poor soul to redeem;

Yes, it was love made Him die on the tree;

Oh, I am certain that Jesus loves me!

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves even me.

If one should ask of me, how can I tell?

Glory to Jesus, I know very well!

God’s Holy Spirit with mine doth agree,

Constantly witnessing Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves even me.

In this assurance I find sweetest rest,

Trusting in Jesus, I know I am blessed;

Satan, dismayed, from my soul now doth flee,

When I just tell him that Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves even me.

PROMISE AND PRAYER

Posted by Cheryl on December 20, 2014 at 7:25 PM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning~~~Have A Wonderful Saturday~~~A Precious Promise & Prayer

A PRECIOUS PROMISE

Romans 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

While we are going through tough times, struggles, hardships we need to realize this will pass. We need to realize to put our trust in our Lord and as he promised (and unlike us he keeps every promise) all things will work to our good. At the very ;east we can learn and grow from tough times. The Lord Jesus Christ is so Great all the time. Praise Him, Praise Him.

A PRECIOUS PRAYER

Luke 23:44 And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

Luke 23:45 And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

Luke 23:47 Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

I can't even imagine being there that day as my Savior died upon that cross. Watching as he died and as he prayed unto the Father "into thy hands I commend my spirit" that Centurion must have had all kind of thoughts, and fear going through his mind. What about that man mentioned who came up and slapped God? I can't imagine how he feels when he is rejected, and still this day mocked, made into disgusting jokes, talked off inappropriately, people its a good thing he is longsuffering and full of mercy. Good thing for us his children he is full of mercy, and longsuffering but we need to wake up and serve, be obedient, and be respectful to our Lord.

THE OLD RUGGED CROSS

On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,

The emblem of suffering and shame;

And I love that old cross where the dearest and best

For a world of lost sinners was slain.

So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,

Till my trophies at last I lay down;

I will cling to the old rugged cross,

And exchange it some day for a crown.

O that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,

Has a wondrous attraction for me;

For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above

To bear it to dark Calvary.

So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,

Till my trophies at last I lay down;

I will cling to the old rugged cross

And exchange it some day for a crown.

In that old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,

A wondrous beauty I see,

For ’twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died,

To pardon and sanctify me.

So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,

Till my trophies at last I lay down;

I will cling to the old rugged cross,

And exchange it some day for a crown.

To the old rugged cross I will ever be true;

Its shame and reproach gladly bear;

Then He’ll call me some day to my home far away,

Where His glory forever I’ll share.

So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross

Till my trophies at last I lay down;

I will cling to the old rugged cross,

And exchange it some day for a crown.

Good Morning~~~Have A Wonderful Day~~~Addiction(Sin)

Our Lord Is A Jealous God, When We Put Other Things Before Him He Is Not Happy: For Instance ADDICTIONS!!!! Not only do they destroy our life, our relationships here but our RELATIONSHIP with our Father in Heaven. If there is already an addiction in our life we need to get help ASAP, if we don't have one pay close attention on what to avoid.

The most common addictions are: Drugs, alcohol, tobacco, gambling, pornography,sex, food, work, even exercise. We are all vulnerable. James describes the cycle of temptation – from desire to action to consequences (James.1:13-15). The problem with addictions is that they offer short term relief (pleasure) but they also create long term problems (pain). We should seek to not be mastered or enslaved by anything in this world. Finding freedom from addictions is not easy. However, it can be done. It requires a structured strategy, persistence and God’s help. There are no hopeless situations in Jesus. Recovery is about finding more real gratification and pleasure in life, not less. However, this is not found in things outside of us but through a relationship with Jesus Christ who longs to live inside of us. What is the source of your happiness? Who do you trust for ‘life’? Avoid going places where it is easier to "enjoy" your sin of choice. Make a point of going to Church whenever the doors are open. Talk to your Pastor or one of the Deacons see if you can find where some GOOD local Bible studies are when your Church is not having service. PRAY, PRAY,PRAY the Lord always gives us an out we have to be willing to take it.

Be determined to change. To start, you have to want to change, and it has to be for yourself and not for others. As soon as it is for others and they upset you we get this attitude well I will show you I am going to drop this change and go back to drinking, overeating, drugs, porn. Admit that you have an issue that you are addicted. Admit that what you’re doing is wrong or destructive. Be honest with yourself and God. Stop denying it, stop the "I can stop anytime I want to" or "my friend has a bigger problem". The most common reason for failing to break an addiction is going about it half-heartedly. You must be certain that you want to change. To do this, focus on the disadvantages of the habit and the advantages of breaking it. Look around and see the difference in joy and peace in people without addiction and those with addiction.

Our Lesson: When you overcome this ask the Lord what can I do for you. Find something you can do to help others. Maybe you will become a great soul-winner. You will have more energy for the Lord, for others, and yourself. Meditate upon God's Word in order to cleanse your ways and purify your habits. Remind yourself of the gains you are moving toward by breaking free from your addiction. Remind yourself you are the Child of the King, and now you can behave as such.

I KNOW THIS ISN'T EASY HOWEVER JUST LIKE ANY SIN IT STARTS WITH US AND WE ARE THE ONE THAT HAS TO SAY ENOUGH, AND PUT IT DOWN.

Deuteronomy 6:5 And thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might.

Deuteronomy 6:6 And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart:

Matthew 22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Matthew 22:38 This is the first and great commandment.

Matthew 22:39 And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

James 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

James 1:16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

1Corinthians 6:12 All things are lawful unto me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but I will not be brought under the power of any.

1Corinthians 10:22 Do we provoke the Lord to jealousy? are we stronger than he?

1Corinthians 10:23 All things are lawful for me, but all things are not expedient: all things are lawful for me, but all things edify not.

Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

Colossians 2:9 For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily.

Colossians 2:10 And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power:

2Timothy 2:21 If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, sanctified, and meet for the master's use, and prepared unto every good work.

2Timothy 2:22 Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

James 5:13 Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any merry? let him sing psalms.

James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord:

James 5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.

James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

James 5:17 Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months.

James 5:18 And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit.

James 5:19 Brethren, if any of you do err from the truth, and one convert him;

James 5:20 Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins.

HEAVEN CAME DOWN

O what a wonderful, wonderful day

O what a wonderful, wonderful day--day I will never forget;

After I'd wandered in darkness away, Jesus my Saviour I met.

O what a tender, compassionate friend--He met the need of my heart;

Shadows dispelling, With joy I am telling, He made all the darkness depart.

Heaven came down and glory filled my soul,

When at the cross the Saviour made me whole;

My sins were washed away -

And my night was turned to day -

Heaven came down and glory filled my soul!

Born of the Spirit with life from above into God's fam'ly divine,

Justified fully thru Calvary's love, O what a standing is mine!

And the transaction so quickly was made when as a sinner I came,

Took of the offer of grace He did proffer--He saved me, O praise His dear name!

Heaven came down and glory filled my soul,

When at the cross the Saviour made me whole;

My sins were washed away -

And my night was turned to day -

Heaven came down and glory filled my soul!

Now I've a hope that will surely endure after the passing of time;

I have a future in heaven for sure, there in those mansions sublime.

And it's because of that wonderful day when at the cross I believed;

Riches eternal and blessings supernal from His precious hand I received.

Heaven came down and glory filled my soul,

When at the cross the Saviour made me whole;

My sins were washed away -

And my night was turned to day -

Heaven came down and glory filled my soul!

Let me ask you a question? Have you come as a sinner to the Cross of Jesus and received His offer of forgiveness and eternal life through the atoning work at Calvary?

I NEED THEE EVERY HOUR

I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord;

No tender voice like Thine can peace afford.

I need Thee, O I need Thee;

Every hour I need Thee;

O bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour, stay Thou nearby;

Temptations lose their power when Thou art nigh.

I need Thee, O I need Thee;

Every hour I need Thee;

O bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour, in joy or pain;

Come quickly and abide, or life is in vain.

I need Thee, O I need Thee;

Every hour I need Thee;

O bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour; teach me Thy will;

And Thy rich promises in me fulfill.

I need Thee, O I need Thee;

Every hour I need Thee;

O bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour, most Holy One;

O make me Thine indeed, Thou blessèd Son.

I need Thee, O I need Thee;

Every hour I need Thee;

O bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Thursday!!! Religion Can Kill

To Those Caught Up In Religion They Are Offended In The Bible Based Salvation: When you study the differnt religions of the world none use or trust the true word of God. Noe just in Jesus Christ as the final Authority. The Catholics have their own Bible and trust the Pope and have Mary at the same level as Jesus, and practice Idolatry, and tell their "Flock" DO NOT READ THE BIBLE ON THEIR OWN(Or so I have been told). The Mormons trust Joseph Smith,where they deny the eternal divinity of Jesus, believe in many gods, and believe men can attain godhood (as their Jesus and Father did) and rule over their own planet. Jehovah Witnesses don't believe Jesus is God just a nice Prophet. Islam is based on the writings of Muhammad, where they worship a single, impersonal god. The Eastern religions, including Hinduism and Buddhism, and Western new-age religions such as Christian Science essentially believe everything is god (Pantheism - may the force be with you). These religions also teach reincarnation until the spirit reaches a level of "enlightenment" and oneness with god or the gods. Christianity teaches one death and one judgement. Saved by grace, and not works. I think at this point we should be able to agree that that the major world religions are quite different, with many conflicting and contradictory views. To hold that all religions are equally true is simply not a reasonable belief. Some say but we all believe in the same God, NO WE DON'T. As a matter of fact if you haven't trusted Jesus as your Savior your God is Satan.

Oh by the way when we die, it is Heaven or Hell no purgatory. Purgatory or no middle place is mentioned anywhere in the word of God. I believe every word of my KJV Bible therefore if it tells me only Heaven for the Born-again people, and Hell for those rejecting Jesus thats what I believe. As soon as someone dies we can do nothing to pray them into heaven we have to make that decision before they leave here. So if anyone comes calling for money to pray your decesaed relative into Heaven save your money.

So what does the Bible have to say about other religions? It teaches that there is a spiritual war going on and the intention of Satan and his host of demonic spirits is to divert us from the truth.

If what the Bible says is true (and the Bible being God's Holy word is absolutely true) regarding the spiritual warfare that is going on with Satan and his servants, the fact that there are other religions should certainly be no surprise, nor should it be a surprise that the Bible is attacked by non-believers far more than any other religious book. Jesus emphatically warned his followers of the many counterfeits and false teachers we will encounter, and this is why he wants us to check all things with his word. If something doesn't match up then it is wrong. If something goes against hios word it is a counterfeit.

The bible does say Mary was blessed among women, and I am sure she was a sweetheart, but not perfect. I am sure IF she could she what they have made of her she would be GRIEVED she watched her son beaten, mocked, spit upon hung and died for the sinners, and to glorify her she would be telling all worship Jesus not me.

In fact, Jesus condemned vain repetitions, "But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking" (Matthew 6:7). So why do Catholics disobey God? The Catholic Rosary is largely a prayer to Mary. The rosary is a prayer to Mary! Though Catholics like to point out that they are not praying to Mary, the 2nd of the ten commandments clearly prohibits and warns us NOT to BOW DOWN to any graven image. God in the 2nd commandment even goes as far as to warn us against bowing down to the likeness of anything in HEAVEN OR EARTH.

So much more like Priests forbidding to marry not in the Bible, idols (Catholic Churches have statues everywhere), charging pew fees, Only Jesus can forgive sins not the Priest, not the Pope. No infant Baptisim anywhere in God's word, Jesus was 33years of age.

Salvation is trusting in Jesus not in works, we can know we have a home in heaven. Our works are as filthy rags. Our good works would get us nowhere.

Please read his word that is where we find the truth, not in a religion, not in the world, not in a man. A Good Pastor will tell you "Go home and check what I am teaching you" He will not tell you"Do not read the word of God let me tell you what it says" that would scare me.

Remember it is a RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS!!! NOT RELIGION WITH MAN MADE RULES!!!

OUR LESSON: PLEASE IF YOU DON'T HAVE A HEART RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS CHRIST CALL UPON HIM NOW. WE DON'T KNOW WHAT TOMORROW WILL BRING.

Hebrews 9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

1Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

1Timothy 4:2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;

1Timothy 4:3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.

2Corinthians 11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

2Corinthians 11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

2Corinthians 11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

2Corinthians 11:16 I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Romans 3:21 But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets;

Romans 3:22 Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference:

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Matthew 24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

Matthew 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

Exodus 20:1 And God spake all these words, saying,

Exodus 20:2 I am the LORD thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Exodus 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

ALAS, AND DID MY SAVIOR BLEED

Alas! and did my Savior bleed

And did my Sovereign die?

Would He devote that sacred head

For such a worm as I

At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light,

And the burden of my heart rolled away,

It was there by faith I received my sight,

And now I am happy all the day!

Thy body slain, sweet Jesus, Thine—

And bathed in its own blood—

While the firm mark of wrath divine,

His Soul in anguish stood.

Was it for crimes that I had done

He groaned upon the tree?

Amazing pity! grace unknown!

And love beyond degree!

Well might the sun in darkness hide

And shut his glories in,

When Christ, the mighty Maker died,

For man the creature’s sin.

Thus might I hide my blushing face

While His dear cross appears,

Dissolve my heart in thankfulness,

And melt my eyes to tears.

But drops of grief can ne’er repay

The debt of love I owe:

Here, Lord, I give my self away

’Tis all that I can do.

At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light,

And the burden of my heart rolled away,

It was there by faith I received my sight,

And now I am happy all the day!

ROCK OF AGES

Rock of Ages, cleft for me,

Let me hide myself in Thee;

Let the water and the blood,

From Thy wounded side which flowed,

Be of sin the double cure;

Save from wrath and make me pure.

Not the labor of my hands

Can fulfill Thy law’s demands;

Could my zeal no respite know,

Could my tears forever flow,

All for sin could not atone;

Thou must save, and Thou alone.

Nothing in my hand I bring,

Simply to the cross I cling;

Naked, come to Thee for dress;

Helpless look to Thee for grace;

Foul, I to the fountain fly;

Wash me, Savior, or I die.

While I draw this fleeting breath,

When mine eyes shall close in death,

[originally When my eye-strings break in death]

When I soar to worlds unknown,

See Thee on Thy judgment throne,

Rock of Ages, cleft for me,

Let me hide myself in Thee.

ONLY THE KJV

Good Morning~~~Have A Wonderful Wednesday~~~Why The KJV

Some People Tell Me It Doesn't Matter Which Bible: If I have three cups of water on the table and two have a germ in them does it matter to you which cup you take? Well the newer translations of the Bible have been written in many cases by people who are not concerned in serving the Lord as he would have us to. In other words are they going to be concerned with translating the KJV as it is written with all the exact phrashes? The RSV was written by the Liberal National Council of Churches, liberal bias do you believe they will be concerned with translating the holy word to remain holy? Lets look at Isaiah7:14:

"Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign. Behold a young woman shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel." (Revised Standard Version)

King James "a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son." Big difference between young woman and a virgin.

Many use the excuse "the KJV is too difficult to read all the thees and thous. The KJV is a 5th grade reading level, and after getting to read the Lord helps, and I truly believe for anyone truly trying to read his word the Lord is going to help. In this version they mix up Jesus and Satan now that is a very scary situation. Not a translation I would want to use.

For most of our first two hundred years as a nation, the King James Version was the Bible to most Americans. Even after so-called "modern" versions became popular, the King James Bible continued to be the version memorized, quoted, and publicly read most often. With the decision to not use the KJV Bible, our country has been left without a standard text of Scripture. Who can quote the Twenty-third Psalm any more? The question always arises, "Which version?" Everybody realizes that our nation's spiritual and moral foundations have been crumbling, but few have understood how the multiplication of Bible versions has contributed to the decay. Thank the Lord for the Bible-Believing Churches who will stick with the King James Version. Why should conservative Christians join in the mad movement to throw away the standards that made our country good?

The NIV deletes over 64,000 words including words like: Godhead, regeneration, mercyseat, Calvary, remission, Jehovah, immutable, omnipotent, Comforter, Holy Ghost, Messiah, quickened, infallible. Most of the modern Bibles line up very closely with the NIV--and so does the New World Translation--the Bible of the Jehovah's Witnesses cult!

When you read below where I say that a verse is COMPLETELY deleted, I mean clean/bald-headed/gone/vanished deleted. For instance, if you search for Acts 8:37 in the NIV you will read,

36As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, "Look, here is water. Why shouldn't I be baptized?"

38And he ordered the chariot to stop. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.

The following WHOLE verses have been removed in the NIV--whether in the text or footnotes...over 40 IN ALL!!!

Matthew 12:47 -- removed in the footnotes

Matthew 17:21 -- COMPLETELY removed [also deleted from the Jehovah's Witness "Bible"]. What are you NIV readers missing?

"Howbeit this kind goeth not out but by prayer and fasting."

Matthew 18:11 -- COMPLETELY removed [also deleted from the Jehovah's Witness "Bible"]. What are you NIV readers missing?

"For the Son of man is come to save that which was lost."

Matthew 21:44 -- removed in the footnotes

Matthew 23:14 -- COMPLETELY removed [also deleted from the Jehovah's Witness "Bible"]. What are you NIV readers missing?

"Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore ye shall receive the greater damnation."

Mark 7:16 -- COMPLETELY removed [also deleted from the Jehovah's Witness "Bible"]. What are you NIV readers missing?

"If any man have ears to hear, let him hear."

Mark 9:44 -- COMPLETELY removed [also deleted from the Jehovah's Witness "Bible"]. What are you NIV readers missing?

"Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."

Mark 9:46 -- COMPLETELY removed [also deleted from the Jehovah's Witness "Bible"]. What are you NIV readers missing?

"Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched."

Mark 11:26 -- COMPLETELY removed [also deleted from the Jehovah's Witness "Bible"]. What are you NIV readers missing?

"But if ye do not forgive, neither will your Father which is in heaven forgive your trespasses."

Mark 15:28 -- COMPLETELY removed [also deleted from the Jehovah's Witness "Bible"]. What are you NIV readers missing?

"And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And he was numbered with the transgressors."

Mark 16:9-20 (all 12 verses) -- There is a line separating the last 12 verses of Mark from the main text. Right under the line it says: [The two most reliable early manuscripts do not have Mark 16:9-20] (NIV, 1978 ed.) The Jehovah's Witness "Bible" also places the last 12 verses of Mark as an appendix of sorts.

Luke 17:36 -- COMPLETELY removed [also deleted from the Jehovah's Witness "Bible"]. What are you NIV readers missing?

"Two men shall be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left."

Luke 22:44 -- removed in the footnotes

Luke 22:43 -- removed in the footnotes

Luke 23:17 -- COMPLETELY removed [also deleted from the Jehovah's Witness "Bible"]. What are you NIV readers missing?

"(For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.)"

John 5:4 -- COMPLETELY removed [also deleted from the Jehovah's Witness "Bible"]. What are you NIV readers missing?

"For an angel went down at a certain season into the pool, and troubled the water: whosoever then first after the troubling of the water stepped in was made whole of whatsoever disease he had."

John 7:53-8:11 -- removed in the footnotes

Acts 8:37 -- COMPLETELY removed [also deleted from the Jehovah's Witness "Bible"]. It's deletion makes one think that people can be baptized and saved without believing on the Lord Jesus Christ. Sounds Catholic. What are you NIV readers missing?

"And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."

I am sorry I know this is long and so much more to show I will add some of the newer Bibles coming out are the NEW QUEEN JAMES it is for the Homosexuals, and The gender fair which uses HE/SHE when talking of God. We need to wake up this is a very big issue, this is something Satan is using to cause confusion. At the end of Revelation the Lord tells us:

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Love,

Cheryl

THY WORD IS A LAMP UNTO THY FEET

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet

and a light unto my path.

When I feel afraid, think I've lost my way,

still you're there right beside me,

and nothing will I fear as Iong as you are near.

Please be near me to the end.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet

and a light unto my path.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet

and a light unto my path.

I will not forget your love for me,

and yet my heart forever is wandering.

Jesus, be my guide and hold me to your side,

and I will love you to the end.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet

and a light unto my path.

THE BIBLE STANDS

The Bible stands like a rock undaunted

’Mid the raging storms of time;

Its pages burn with the truth eternal,

And they glow with a light sublime.

The Bible stands though the hills may tumble,

It will firmly stand when the earth shall crumble;

I will plant my feet on its firm foundation,

For the Bible stands.

The Bible stands like a mountain towering

Far above the works of men;

Its truth by none ever was refuted,

And destroy it they never can.

The Bible stands though the hills may tumble,

It will firmly stand when the earth shall crumble;

I will plant my feet on its firm foundation,

For the Bible stands.

The Bible stands and it will forever,

When the world has passed away;

By inspiration it has been given,

All its precepts I will obey.

The Bible stands though the hills may tumble,

It will firmly stand when the earth shall crumble;

I will plant my feet on its firm foundation,

For the Bible stands.

The Bible stands every test we give it,

For its Author is divine;

By grace alone I expect to live it,

And to prove and to make it mine.

The Bible stands though the hills may tumble,

It will firmly stand when the earth shall crumble;

I will plant my feet on its firm foundation,

For the Bible stands.

PRAYER

Good Morning!!! Have A Blessed Tuesday!!! Prayer

Prayer Can Change Things, And Is Our Communication With Our Precious Lord, Our Precious Father:  When we call upon our Lord in prayer he is right there listening to us, and answers in in his way according to his will. Prayer is talking, listening, and taking time as we open up to the Precious Lord in prayer. When we go before the Lord we need to go trusting with a right heart attitude. I am not saying he will give that yes everytime all things in his will and his time. However we can't go before him with the doubting attitude and untrusting attitude, and believe we will get blessed if we are telling him "Lord I need this and I doubt you can do it, or will do it".

Time in prayer can change our attitudes, we may not get the answer we want; but if we spend a good amount in prayer daily our hearts begin to soften, and react better. Our outlook can become better. I am not talking if we pray before meals the 20 second thanks for the food, and 2minute goodnight prayer. I am talking quality prayer time during the day. Many say I don't have time for prayer, I have a life. Do you have time to watch a movie? Do you have time to text for an hour in the evening? Do you have an hour on the computer after work? "I have little children try praying with them. My daughter gets up an hour before them to pray. My daughter-in-law prays after they go to bed. We sure want to talk to him when we are hurting we need to talk to the Father everyday not just in time of need.

Just as talking to our loved ones is important, prayer is even more important everyday. On the drive to work (keep your eyes open) pray. Get up an hour early to pray, and read the word. Shut off the television (nothing but filth anyway) and talk to the Lord. Please make time for the Father, the one who loved you before you were thought of, and died for you. Don't have a long distance relationship, or a family relationship as many, call only when a death in the family occurs.

OUR LESSON: PRAYER CHANGES THINGS AND IS TOO IMPORTANT TO NEGLECT!!!

1Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore.

1Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

Mark 11:23 For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.

Mark 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

SWEET HOUR OF PRAYER

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!

That calls me from a world of care,

And bids me at my Father’s throne

Make all my wants and wishes known.

In seasons of distress and grief,

My soul has often found relief

And oft escaped the tempter’s snare

By thy return, sweet hour of prayer!

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!

The joys I feel, the bliss I share,

Of those whose anxious spirits burn

With strong desires for thy return!

With such I hasten to the place

Where God my Savior shows His face,

And gladly take my station there,

And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!

Thy wings shall my petition bear

To Him whose truth and faithfulness

Engage the waiting soul to bless.

And since He bids me seek His face,

Believe His Word and trust His grace,

I’ll cast on Him my every care,

And wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!

Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!

May I thy consolation share,

Till, from Mount Pisgah’s lofty height,

I view my home and take my flight:

This robe of flesh I’ll drop and rise

To seize the everlasting prize;

And shout, while passing through the air,

“Farewell, farewell, sweet hour of prayer!”

I MUST TELL JESUS

I must tell Jesus all of my trials;

I cannot bear these burdens alone;

In my distress He kindly will help me;

He ever loves and cares for His own.

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!

I cannot bear my burdens alone;

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!

Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.

I must tell Jesus all of my troubles;

He is a kind, compassionate friend;

If I but ask Him, He will deliver,

Make of my troubles quickly an end.

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!

I cannot bear my burdens alone;

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!

Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.

Tempted and tried, I need a great Savior;

One Who can help my burdens to bear;

I must tell Jesus, I must tell Jesus;

He all my cares and sorrows will share.

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!

I cannot bear my burdens alone;

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!

Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.

O how the world to evil allures me!

O how my heart is tempted to sin!

I must tell Jesus, and He will help me

Over the world the victory to win.

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!

I cannot bear my burdens alone;

I must tell Jesus! I must tell Jesus!

Jesus can help me, Jesus alone.

Santa Claus

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Monday!!! Santa Claus

A Christian Parent Must Look Closely At The Teaching The Deceit of Santa:   Read through the following little poem we have all heard and tell me it you truly feel it is ok with you and you would be ok singing it in front of our Lord Jesus Christ:

"You better watch out. You better not cry. You better not pout. I'm telling you why; Santa Claus is coming to town. He's making a list and he's checking it twice; gonna find out whose naughty and nice. Santa Claus is coming to town. He sees you when you're sleeping; he knows when you're awake. He knows if you've been bad or good, so be good for goodness sakes. You better watch out. You better not cry. You better not pout. I'm telling you why; Santa Claus is coming to town."

First, that song teaches that Santa is a transcendent being. He lives on a higher plane. He lives on a higher level. He transcends time and space. He has powers equal to whom? God! Not only that, he knows everything. "He knows when you're sleeping. He knows when you're awake. He knows when you're naughty. He knows when you're nice." He knows everything. Sounds like blasphemy to me.

Not only that, he's everywhere. "He sees you when you're sleeping." He's not only omniscient, he's omnipresent. And he is watching to see whether you have been good or bad. And not only that, but he bestows favors. Now on what basis does Santa give his favors? What must I do to receive good things from this transcendent being, called Santa. Well it is very simple, I have to be what? Good. I can "earn" Santa's favor. If I am good, Santa will give me gifts. After all, he's making a list and he is checking it twice to make sure that we've been either naughty of nice. And on the basis on how we've been, he'll deal with us. So we are teaching our children with Santa we have to be really good, with Jesus Christ we have to trust him for salvation.

Any parent who teaches their children about Santa knows that they will eventually learn that it was all a lie. Lying is a sin and cannot be justified biblically. We need to ask ourselves is there anything about celebrating Santa that glorifies Jesus Christ? We celebebrate Christ birth at this time of year why we exhalt Santa Clause????

Do you know what about Santa Claus? You can't trust him. He doesn't even stay true to his own word. Which many children get that in their heads and even when they grown remember this, and when taught of Jesus have issues. And then you know what? When Christmas comes he caves in, and even when we have been naughty he gives us all that stuff. And sometimes he overlooks people that are nice. He really can't be trusted. His threats are meaningless and so are his promises. But that's good because it takes the sting out of him. And there is another good thing about Santa; you only have to worry about him once a year. He only shows up once and you know when it is; it's always on Dec 25th, so you can get your act together just a few days before. You say, "Well where is he the rest of the time?" Oh, he's in the North Pole. Could that be "heaven" in Satan's little prideful scheme? "What's he doing?" Oh, he has all those little elfs around him. "What are they doing?" Whatever he tells them. Santa Claus does one more thing If we tell them "we don't teach Santa Claus" you would think we just said I am going to take the child home and lock him in the attic till after Christmas. However you tell the same person he learns the Blble they say "oh one of them" how sad people are ok with lies, but the mnost important truth they don't want to hear, and accuse you of brainwashing. I have watched this often with my grandchildren and their parents people get very hostile with them over Santa Claus, and them not allowing the teaching and fun of this huge lie.

Is it any wonder that if I believe all that as a child, when I come to be an adult, I might have a hard time believing in a Transcendent God who does know everything, who is everywhere, who does have all power, who does keep his promises and his threats, and who does not save me and give me good gifts on the basis of my works but on the basis of His grace. If Santa has been my understanding of God, then I am in trouble. That's why if you notice hidden in the letters of Santa is Satan.

I am thankful for our Lord who is absolutely dependable. I can trust His promises. I can trust His threats. He is everywhere at all times and He doesn't just show up once a year. He is here all of the time. And He gives His great gift, not on the basis of our works but on the basis of His grace through faith.He is unchanging, he is the same today, tomorrow, and yesterday.

OUR LESSON: WHAT IS MORE IMPORTANT TO YOU? TEACHING CHIDREN ABOUT SATAN CLAUS OR TEACHING THEM THE TRUTH OF THE LORD JESUS CHRIST WHO WILLING CAME HERE TO DIE FOR THEIR SINS AND OURS AND TRULY LOVES US!!!

Proverbs 15:3 The eyes of the LORD are in every place, beholding the evil and the good.

2Chronicles 16:9 For the eyes of the LORD run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward him. Herein thou hast done foolishly: therefore from henceforth thou shalt have wars.

Exodus 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Psalm 101:6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walketh in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

Psalm 101:7 He that worketh deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that telleth lies shall not tarry in my sight.

Psalm 101:8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.

Ephesians 4:24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

Ephesians 4:25 Wherefore putting away lying, speak every man truth with his neighbour: for we are members one of another.

1Peter 2:1 Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings,

1Peter 2:2 As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby:

1Peter 2:3 If so be ye have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

A PROMISE AND A PRAYER

Posted by Cheryl on December 14, 2014 at 7:05 PM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Blessed Sunday!!! A Promise & A Prayer

A PRECIOUS PROMISE

John 10:8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

John 10:9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John 10:11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

Praise the Lord!!!! As we can see again here, that Jesus Christ came so all who calleth upon him can have eternal life. Any false teachers, prophets come to steal and destroy, none of them before Jesus or after Jesus spilled their blood, rose from the dead. The false christs come to lie, murder, and destroy. Anyone cometh saying they are the christ try them by God's word. Only one Jesus Christ, and only one word of God.

A PRECIOUS PRAYER

Gen 15:2 And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?

Gen 15:3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.

Gen 15:4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.

Gen 15:5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.

Gen 15:6 And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness.

Gen 21:1 And the LORD visited Sarah as he had said, and the LORD did unto Sarah as he had spoken.

Gen 21:2 For Sarah conceived, and bare Abraham a son in his old age, at the set time of which God had spoken to him.

Gen 21:3 And Abraham called the name of his son that was born unto him, whom Sarah bare to him, Isaac.

Gen 21:4 And Abraham circumcised his son Isaac being eight days old, as God had commanded him.

Gen 21:5 And Abraham was an hundred years old, when his son Isaac was born unto him.

Gen 21:6 And Sarah said, God hath made me to laugh, so that all that hear will laugh with me.

Gen 21:7 And she said, Who would have said unto Abraham, that Sarah should have given children suck? for I have born him a son in his old age.

Gen 21:8 And the child grew, and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast the same day that Isaac was weaned.

Here we see all things are possible with the Lord. How many couples this aged do we know have been blessed with babies and lived to take care of them? Yet even seeing such miracles we still question the Lord capabilities with our troubles, why do we do that?

HOLY, HOLY, HOLY

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!

Early in the morning our song shall rise to Thee;

Holy, holy, holy, merciful and mighty!

God in three Persons, blessèd Trinity!

Holy, holy, holy! All the saints adore Thee,

Casting down their golden crowns around the glassy sea;

Cherubim and seraphim falling down before Thee,

Who was, and is, and evermore shall be.

Holy, holy, holy! though the darkness hide Thee,

Though the eye of sinful man Thy glory may not see;

Only Thou art holy; there is none beside Thee,

Perfect in power, in love, and purity.

Holy, holy, holy! Lord God Almighty!

All Thy works shall praise Thy Name, in earth, and sky, and sea;

Holy, holy, holy; merciful and mighty!

God in three Persons, blessèd Trinity!

WHAT CHILD IS THIS

What Child is this who, laid to rest

On Mary’s lap is sleeping?

Whom angels greet with anthems sweet,

While shepherds watch are keeping?

This, this is Christ the King,

Whom shepherds guard and angels sing;

Haste, haste, to bring Him laud,

The Babe, the Son of Mary.

Why lies He in such mean estate,

Where ox and ass are feeding?

Good Christians, fear, for sinners here

The silent Word is pleading.

Nails, spear shall pierce Him through,

The cross be borne for me, for you.

Hail, hail the Word made flesh,

The Babe, the Son of Mary.

So bring Him incense, gold and myrrh,

Come peasant, king to own Him;

The King of kings salvation brings,

Let loving hearts enthrone Him.

Raise, raise a song on high,

The virgin sings her lullaby.

Joy, joy for Christ is born,

The Babe, the Son of Mary.

O HOLY NIGHT

Oh holy night!

The stars are brightly shining

It is the night of the dear Savior's birth!

Long lay the world in sin and error pining

Till he appear'd and the soul felt its worth.

A thrill of hope the weary world rejoices

For yonder breaks a new and glorious morn!

Fall on your knees

Oh hear the angel voices

Oh night divine

Oh night when Christ was born

Oh night divine

Oh night divine

Led by the light of Faith serenely beaming

With glowing hearts by His cradle we stand

So led by light of a star sweetly gleaming

Here come the wise men from Orient land

The King of Kings lay thus in lowly manger

In all our trials born to be our friend

Truly He taught us to love one another

His law is love and His gospel is peace

Chains shall He break for the slave is our brother

And in His name all oppression shall cease

Sweet hymns of joy in grateful chorus raise we,

Let all within us praise His holy name
