The Children

Posted by Cheryl on March 5, 2015 at 9:00 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Thursday!!! Our Influence On Children

We Can All Teach The Children About The Lord, And How To Live Right;

Day after day our precious children are enticed with ideas, thoughts, and images that are contrary in nature to the ideals that you and I grew up with. Our children are faced with challenges and obstacles that you and I would never have dreamed of in our own childhood. Many things happening now just were not there back then.

Day after day we read about, or hear on the news of schools that are inundated with drugs, or schools where our children’s very physical safety cannot be assured. Even those who homeschool our precious children just to go shopping see things that just are plain evil.

Yes the Parents need to be prayerful for them. However we as adults need to be praying for the children in our life, but also living as godly examples in front of them. Children are very impressionable, they need to see Uncle Frank, Aunt Barb, Aunt Cheryl walking in the light with joy for the Lord. They need to see Mom and Dad more than saying "Love the Lord" they need to see the adults Loving the Lord, doing what they say, and not just "Do what I say".

Our children need to see godly examples, they don't need to see parents, people from Church, family, doing as the world does.......We need to teach them young of Salvation, of godliness, of desiring things of God, not this Sin-Cursed world. How can any adult regardless if they have children or not look at a child and not have a desire to want to see them saved? I can we see a child and not want to teach them to do right? This world is corrupting them earlier and earlier.

I get sick when I see a little girl in kindergarden wearing a very short skirt saying "Hot Stuff across her bottom" and you know the parents bought this for her. WHY? I get sick, and enraged when I see a small child talking and hear cuss words coming out of their mouth, and Mom and Dad are right there and find it amusing. WHY?

PLEASE LETS TEACH OUR CHILDREN WHAT IS RIGHT, ABOUT JESUS, AND LET THEM KNOW THEY ARE TRULY LOVED. DON'T LET THE WORLD TEACH THEM ABOUT FAKE LOVE!!!

Proverbs 22:6 Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

Proverbs 19:18 Chasten thy son while there is hope, and let not thy soul spare for his crying.

Luke 11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

Luke 11:12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

Luke 11:13 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask him?

Psalm 103:17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

Psalm 103:18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

2Peter 2:8 (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful deeds;)

2Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

2Peter 2:10 But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government. Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities.

Isaiah 54:13 And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children.

2Timothy 1:4 Greatly desiring to see thee, being mindful of thy tears, that I may be filled with joy;

2Timothy 1:5 When I call to remembrance the unfeigned faith that is in thee, which dwelt first in thy grandmother Lois, and thy mother Eunice; and I am persuaded that in thee also.

2Timothy 1:6 Wherefore I put thee in remembrance that thou stir up the gift of God, which is in thee by the putting on of my hands.

Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Ephesians 6:2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

Ephesians 6:3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

Ephesians 6:4 And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.

SEEKING THE LOST

Seeking the lost, yes, kindly entreating

Wanderers on the mountain astray;

“Come unto Me,” His message repeating,

Words of the Master speaking today.

Going afar (going afar)

Upon the mountain (upon the mountain)

Bringing the wanderer back again, back again,

Into the fold (into the fold)

Of my Redeemer (of my Redeemer)

Jesus the Lamb for sinners slain, for sinners slain.

Seeking the lost and pointing to Jesus

Souls that are weak and hearts that are sore,

Leading them forth in ways of salvation,

Showing the path to life evermore.

Going afar (going afar)

Upon the mountain (upon the mountain)

Bringing the wanderer back again, back again,

Into the fold (into the fold)

Of my Redeemer (of my Redeemer)

Jesus the Lamb for sinners slain, for sinners slain.

Thus would I go on missions of mercy,

Following Christ from day unto day,

Cheering the faint and raising the fallen,

Pointing the lost to Jesus, the Way.

Going afar (going afar)

Upon the mountain (upon the mountain)

Bringing the wanderer back again, back again,

Into the fold (into the fold)

Of my Redeemer (of my Redeemer)

Jesus the Lamb for sinners slain, for sinners slain.

HAPPY THE HOME

Happy the home when God is there,

and love fills every breast; when one their wish,

and one their prayer, and one their heavenly rest.

Happy the home where Jesus' name is sweet to every ear;

where children early speak his fame, and parents hold him dear.

Happy the home where prayer is heard,

and praise is wont to rise; where parents love the sacred

Word and all its wisdom prize. Lord, let us in our homes

agree this blessed peace to gain; unite our hearts in love to thee, and love to all will reign.

THANKS TO GOD

Thanks to God for my Redeemer,

Thanks for all Thou dost provide!

Thanks for times now but a mem’ry,

Thanks for Jesus by my side!

Thanks for pleasant, balmy springtime,

Thanks for dark and stormy fall!

Thanks for tears by now forgotten,

Thanks for peace within my soul!

Thanks for prayers that Thou hast answered,

Thanks for what Thou dost deny!

Thanks for storms that I have weathered,

Thanks for all Thou dost supply!

Thanks for pain, and thanks for pleasure,

Thanks for comfort in despair!

Thanks for grace that none can measure,

Thanks for love beyond compare!

Thanks for roses by the wayside,

Thanks for thorns their stems contain!

Thanks for home and thanks for fireside,

Thanks for hope, that sweet refrain!

Thanks for joy and thanks for sorrow,

Thanks for heav’nly peace with Thee!

Thanks for hope in the tomorrow,

Thanks through all eternity!

THE TEN COMMANDMENTS

Posted by Cheryl on March 2, 2015 at 9:10 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful And Blessed Week!!! The Law

Why Would I Want To Talk About The Ten Commandments The Law, We Are Saved By Grace: What are the Ten Commandments? Some in our day really can't remember them all anymore. Just a Side note there are many more than ten so for those preferring to live under the law and not by grace might want to get busy studying.

Some might ask do we even have to obey the Ten Commandments? I believe it is a great guideline to follow, however no one can obey them, and that is why we need to be thankful for Jesus coming here and paying our sin debt in full. Did you know to break one of the commandments is to have broken all? The Lord tells us to break one of these commandments is to break all of them, so when people tell me "Cheryl I have never broke one of the commandments" and I try and explain this to them many get angry. Some just disagree, some just think I am crazy, but I didn't make that rule, our Precious Father says that. We read in James 2:

James 2:9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

James 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

Lets take a quick look at the ten commandments, and see how many we have kept (or broken).

Exo 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Exo 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Exo 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

Exo 20:6 And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Exo 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Exo 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Exo 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

Exo 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

Exo 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Exo 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Exo 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

Exo 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Exo 20:15 Thou shalt not steal.

Exo 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

Exo 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Now lets take a look at how many we have committed in the last year, six months. Then lets truly thank Jesus for his Amazing grace!!!

1. How many of us put other things before God? TV, our jobs, shopping, how often do we miss Bible reading because of being too busy with other things.

2. A graven image: representation of a god used as an object of worship. I could go on for hours on this subject. This is so wrong, and people have these in yards, in the Church building, in cars. In James 2:10 to break one part of the law is to break all. There are religious leaders encouraging this, WHY? This is a very serious subject, and as I have said before if my Pastor who I love and trust would tell me "Cheryl I know this is against God's word but I want to do it my way" I would leave. To go against the Lord even on one thing is very wrong, unloving towards him, and just should not be done. We need to please the Lord not man.

3. Do not bow down to any man but God only. I have seen this done in a few different cultures, and religions. I praise God this is not done in the Bible Believers, Born Again group, It makes no sense why we would do this to a sinful man who is a sinner just like us.

4. My Pastor had a great comment for this did you ever notice when people stub their toe, hit their thumb with a hammer they always use God's name never Allah damn it, never Joe Smith Damn it, We need to reverence our Fathers name at all time, and his name alone.

5. The Sabbath I believe we can go to church, make dinner, I just don't believe we should have stores open, I believe it should be about family, the Lord, and fellowship with the brethren. However this is how I see it and read into it.

6. Our Parents, I have noticed in these last years our parents are treated, and talked about like the family pet, a burden, want to move on with our life, and stuck with Mom and Dad. I wish I was still stuck with My Mom and Dad. I watch how young people talk to Parents (some of that I blame on Mom and Dad). We need to be loving, gentle, and respectful to our parents, not according to how they were with us, but treat them how the Lord would have us to be.

7. Thou shalt not kill! People always look at this as just kill or murder take someone life. Well if we hate our brother, sister, brethren, that is the same as murder.

1John 3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loveth not his brother abideth in death.

1John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

1John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

1John 4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen?

8. Adultery this one is another one that gets people angry. Did you know what the Lord tells us about adultery? The Lord tells us to upon the opposite sex with lust in our heart has already committed adultery. Many have told me I made that up. However here in the word of God we see again that the Lord tells us that not me. Remember His thoughts are not our thoughts. Also remember to break one of these commandments is to break all (our Heavenly Father Said that).

Matthew 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Proverbs 6:32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.

Proverbs 6:33 A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.

9. Thou shalt not steal, pretty self explained, by the way did you ever pick up a pen from someones desk and think I like how this writes they have plenty. Did you ever find money in a store and think I can I find who it belongs too? Borrow a buddys tool, and had it so long figured well it is mine now? Your two year old walks out of a store with something "well he is young he doesn't understand". Stealing doesn't have to be an expensive item.

10. To be a false witness, have you ever been so mad at someone you embellished a story about them? Part of it may have been true but you dressed it up a bit. Or you just flat out created a soap opera about them.

Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

Romans 1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,

Romans 1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,

Romans 1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:

Romans 1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

11. Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

Ephesians 5:1 Be ye therefore followers of God, as dear children;

Ephesians 5:2 And walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

Ephesians 5:3 But fornication, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not be once named among you, as becometh saints;

Ephesians 5:4 Neither filthiness, nor foolish talking, nor jesting, which are not convenient: but rather giving of thanks.

Ephesians 5:5 For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God.

Ephesians 5:6 Let no man deceive you with vain words: for because of these things cometh the wrath of God upon the children of disobedience.

Ephesians 5:7 Be not ye therefore partakers with them.

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God.

Colossians 3:2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Colossians 3:3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.

Colossians 3:4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Please realize following the Ten Commandments will not get you into Heaven. Please Realize none of us can keep the Ten Commandments. We should look at them and use them as a guide to follow.

WALK IN THE LIGHT

Walk in the light: so shalt thou know

That fellowship of love

His Spirit only can bestow,

Who reigns in light above.

Walk in the light: and sin abhorred

Shall ne'er defile again;

The blood of Jesus Christ thy Lord

Shall cleanse from every stain.

Walk in the light: and thou shalt find

Thy heart made truly His

Who dwells in cloudless light enshrined,

In whom no darkness is.

Walk in the light: and thou shalt own

Thy darkness passed away,

Because that light hath on thee shone

In which is perfect day.

Walk in the light: and e'en the tomb

No fearful shade shall wear;

Glory shall chase away its gloom

For Christ hath conquered there.

Walk in the light: and thine shall be

A path, though thorny, bright;

For God, by grace, shall dwell in thee,

And God Himself is Light.

Amen.

YOU OUGHT TO KNOW HIM

I have a Friend—you ought to know Him,

He is a Savior tender and true;

Jesus, my King—how I adore Him!

And He should be as precious to you.

I have a Friend—you ought to know Him,

Will you receive His greeting today?

Waiting He stands, tenderly pleading:

“I am the Life, the Truth, and the Way.”

I have a Friend—you ought to know Him,

He is a faithful Shepherd and Guide;

Sorrow He shares, burdens He lightens,

Ev’ry good thing by Him is supplied.

I have a Friend—you ought to know Him,

Will you receive His greeting today?

Waiting He stands, tenderly pleading:

“I am the Life, the Truth, and the Way.”

I have a Friend—you ought to know Him,

Will you not let Him enter your heart?

Peace He will give you without measure,

Blessing untold, that will not depart.

I have a Friend—you ought to know Him,

Will you receive His greeting today?

Waiting He stands, tenderly pleading:

“I am the Life, the Truth, and the Way.”

Promise and Prayer

Posted by Cheryl on March 1, 2015 at 11:10 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!! A Promise And A Prayer!!!

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Romans 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

We see in this promise the Holy Spirit makes intercession for us. He helps when we

don't know how to pray. No Man makes has any more authority than we do in prayer.

We can pray for others, pray as a group at church, but no human flesh bodied

individual has been given any more divine right than any other. We are all sinners, we

all need a Savior, the Lord tells us no one is found to be good.

1Timothy 2:4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

1Timothy 2:5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;

See in 1Timothy 2:5 it does not say Christ Jesus and the Pope, Christ Jesus and your Pastor, Christ Jesus, and your Priest, Christ Jesus, and your spouse. It says Christ Jesus!!!! Not too difficult to understand. This is from the word of GOD!!! Which is our final authority.

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

Luke 16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

Luke 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

Luke 16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

Luke 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Luke 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Luke 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Luke 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

Luke 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Luke 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Luke 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

I have two four questions:

If we can pray people out of hell or purgatory(which is not in the Bible), why is Lazarus so concerned for his brothers, and not thinking his Priest is praying him out of hell? If hell is not real and not a place of torment then where is he?

I have heard many say hell is not real, not real flames, some are looking forward to "beer parties". Why is Lazarus begging for even a drop of water? I don't think think they have any water or drinks there and to joke of hell is plan ludicrous.

If people insist they can talk to the dead (which is witch craft and very wrong) why is Lazarus being told they can't pass back and forth once they have entered in either place? I do believe the occult to talk to spirits but its not past relatives, they are devils, and something we need to stay far away from.

After reading this section would it not seem to make sense to make sure we know Jesus as our Savior and trust God and not man for our eternal home? I love my Pastor, however the day he would say "lets not use God's word for the final authority, I decided I will rewrite the word" that is when I would leave. We need to let the Lord be who we trust, not man. Did any Pastor, Pope, Priest die for your sins? No Jesus Christ Loved you so much he died for you. So I think it only makes sense to trust him who paid your sin debt in full not the man who you pay to pray for you which goes against God's word......

Lead me home.

When my way grows drear,

Precious Lord, linger near,

When my life is almost gone,

Hear my cry, hear my call,

Hold my hand lest I fall:

Take my hand, precious Lord,

Lead me home.

When the darkness appears

And the night draws near,

And the day is past and gone,

At the river I stand,

Guide my feet, hold my hand:

Take my hand, precious Lord,

Lead me home.

Promise and Prayer

Posted by Cheryl on February 28, 2015 at 1:00 PM Comments comments (0)

Have a Wonderful And Blessed Weekend!!! A Promise And A Prayer!!!

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

Proverbs 12:25 Heaviness in the heart of man maketh it stoop: but a good word maketh it glad.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Here we see a couple Promises for those with heavy hearts. Someone dealing with depression, sorrow, sadness. The Lord is promising to get us through these times. These can be difficult times, times that can truly harm us, destroy our testimony. Times that can crumble us. The Lord tells us not to fear he is there with us every step of the way. Our Father is so good to us, he knows what we need everyday. He not only knows he is there ready to give it to us. Never run from the Lord but run to him.

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

Psa 90:1 A Prayer of Moses the man of God. Lord, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.

Psa 90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.

Psa 90:3 Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.

Psa 90:4 For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

Psa 90:5 Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.

Psa 90:6 In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.

Psa 90:7 For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.

Psa 90:8 Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.

Psa 90:9 For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.

Psa 90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

Psa 90:11 Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.

Psa 90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.

Psa 90:13 Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.

Psa 90:14 O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.

Psa 90:15 Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.

Psa 90:16 Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.

Psa 90:17 And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.

BURDENS ARE LIFTED AT CALVARY

Days are filled with sorrow and care,

Hearts are lonely and drear;

Burdens are lifted at Calvary,

Jesus is very near.

Burdens are lifted at Calvary,

Calvary, Calvary;

Burdens are lifted at Calvary,

Jesus is very near.

Cast your care on Jesus today,

Leave your worry and fear;

Burdens are lifted at Calvary,

Jesus is very near.

Burdens are lifted at Calvary,

Calvary, Calvary;

Burdens are lifted at Calvary,

Jesus is very near.

Troubled soul, the Saviour can see

Ev'ry heartache and tear;

Burdens are lifted at Calvary,

Jesus is very near.

Burdens are lifted at Calvary,

Calvary, Calvary;

Burdens are lifted at Calvary,

Jesus is very near.

MOMENT BY MOMENT

Dying with Jesus, by death reckoned mine;

Living with Jesus, a new life divine;

Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine,

Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine.

Moment by moment I’m kept in His love;

Moment by moment I’ve life from above;

Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine;

Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine.

Never a trial that He is not there,

Never a burden that He doth not bear,

Never a sorrow that He doth not share,

Moment by moment, I’m under His care.

Moment by moment I’m kept in His love;

Moment by moment I’ve life from above;

Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine;

Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine.

Never a heartache, and never a groan,

Never a teardrop and never a moan;

Never a danger but there on the throne,

Moment by moment He thinks of His own.

Moment by moment I’m kept in His love;

Moment by moment I’ve life from above;

Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine;

Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine.

Never a weakness that He doth not feel,

Never a sickness that He cannot heal;

Moment by moment, in woe or in weal,

Jesus my Savior, abides with me still.

Moment by moment I’m kept in His love;

Moment by moment I’ve life from above;

Looking to Jesus till glory doth shine;

Moment by moment, O Lord, I am Thine.

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful And Blessed Friday!!! Bondage

Religion Keeps People In Bondage, And Believing Lies; Religion has kept people in bondage for so long they are so afraid to read their Bibles, to leave and find a Bible-Believing Church, or to even ask a legitimate question.

When I, or others have witnessed to "Good, Religious people" most often we get the same answers, and it is very sad. The following are the answers most common:

"I am good, and hoping I will get heaven" "God will let us all in anyway"

"I am Catholic so I can't pray with you" "There really isn't fire in Hell"

"I go to mass three times a week" "I keep the ten commandments"

"I can't look at your Bible with you"

"I am not worried my family, and wonderful Priest will pray me out of purgatory"

Some (including close friends and family) have said I don't like the Catholic church, I ask why don't you leave and find a good Bible-Believing church? "I don't dare do that thats almost like the worst sin". "Besides its tradition my family for years has went there what would I do on Christmas and Easter"?

The Lord tells us no one is good and that is why Jesus died on the cross for our sins.

Romans 3:10 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Mass is not going to get you to heaven and you need to read your Bible and see it is wrong. First of all the ones done in a different language causes confusion. Who is the author of confusion? Secondly going to mass will never get you to Heaven. The communion they offer there claiming is Jesus beyond awful, wrong. They say it is Jesus that is so wrong on many levels. On top of claiming it is Jesus it is wine God tells us not even to look upon fermented wine. When taking communionthey say it is Jesus that the priest made it him. To say it is Jesus is cannibalisim.

1Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:

1Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

1Peter 5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour:

1Peter 5:9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world.

1Corinthians 14:33 For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Why can't you look at my Bible? Shouldn't our Bible be the same. The Lord left his word for us to learn, study on our own. What is your church learning from. I would have great concern if my Pastor said throw God's word over there on a shelf we decided we will go with this book that our leaders came up with. My Pastor, and many other Pastors will say "when you get home look at these verses yourself, check on what I am teaching you". I have heard Many Religious "Men of God" tell their people "Don't Question Me" "My authority comes straight from the Pope" and the Pope is another man in the flesh.

2Timothy 3:12 Yea, and all that will live godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution.

2Timothy 3:13 But evil men and seducers shall wax worse and worse, deceiving, and being deceived.

2Timothy 3:14 But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

2Timothy 3:15 And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, which are able to make thee wise unto salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus.

2Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Matthew 28:17 And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.

Matthew 28:18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.

Matthew 28:19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

Matthew 28:20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The Lord God gives us freedom, why would anyone pick bondage? Our Lord loves us, and does not want us in bondage. Look at the leaders that over the years chose bondage for their people. Jesus Christ was not one of them. Look at the way Catholicism has changed the word of God. No where in the word of God is Purgatory, Heaven or Hell. Once we take our last breath its done. Nobody can pray us anywhere before death, people can pray for our salvation but only us can accept it. Infant baptisim does nothing but get the babys head wet, and usually cry. No where in scripture is a baby baptized, Jesus was 33years old. If this was important don't you think Mary would have had it done when he was an infant? Mary worship, she was a godly lady, but even she needed a Savior. If she could she all the worship for her she would cry. She watched her son beaten, bleed, and die on that cross for all of us, she knew it to be to worship anyone but him, and here all these people not only pray to her, but have idols of her in their front yard.

Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.

Romans 8:2 For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death.

Galations 5:13 For, brethren, ye have been called unto liberty; only use not liberty for an occasion to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

John 8:33 They answered him, We be Abraham's seed, and were never in bondage to any man: how sayest thou, Ye shall be made free?

John 8:34 Jesus answered them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin.

John 8:35 And the servant abideth not in the house for ever: but the Son abideth ever.

John 8:36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

Next week I will talk about infant baptisim, and the ten commandments. God Bless!!!

TAKE TIME TO BE HOLY

Take time to be holy,

speak oft with thy Lord;

abide in him always,

and feed on his word.

Make friends of God's children,

help those who are weak,

forgetting in nothing

his blessing to seek.

Take time to be holy,

the world rushes on;

spend much time in secret

with Jesus alone.

By looking to Jesus,

like him thou shalt be;

thy friends in thy conduct

his likeness shall see.

Take time to be holy,

let him be thy guide,

and run not before him,

whatever betide.

In joy or in sorrow,

still follow the Lord,

and, looking to Jesus,

still trust in his word.

Take time to be holy,

be calm in thy soul,

each thought and each motive

beneath his control.

Thus led by his spirit

to fountains of love,

thou soon shalt be fitted

for service above.

TRUST AND OBEY

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,

What a glory He sheds on our way!

While we do His good will, He abides with us still,

And with all who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,

But His smile quickly drives it away;

Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,

Can abide while we trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,

But our toil He doth richly repay;

Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,

But is blessed if we trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

But we never can prove the delights of His love

Until all on the altar we lay;

For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,

Are for them who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet.

Or we’ll walk by His side in the way.

What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;

Never fear, only trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

TURN YOUR EYES UPON JESUS

O soul, are you weary and troubled?

No light in the darkness you see?

There’s a light for a look at the Savior,

And life more abundant and free!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,

Look full in His wonderful face,

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,

In the light of His glory and grace.

Through death into life everlasting

He passed, and we follow Him there;

Over us sin no more hath dominion—

For more than conquerors we are!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,

Look full in His wonderful face,

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,

In the light of His glory and grace.

His Word shall not fail you—He promised;

Believe Him, and all will be well:

Then go to a world that is dying,

His perfect salvation to tell!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,

Look full in His wonderful face,

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,

In the light of His glory and grace.

HOW CAN THIS BE SAID AGAINST MY LORD

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!! Blasphemy, Lies

The Following Articles Were Given To Me, Awful Blasphemy, Lies, this is why many say Religion kills, and sends unsuspecting "Good Religious" people right to Hell.

Article Starts: Vatican City, Rome – Pope Francis said that people cannot be Christians without the Church, explaining that Christian identity is rooted in it and that believers cannot stand alone.

“Our Christian identity is belonging to a people: the Church. Without this, we are not Christians. We entered the Church through baptism: there we are Christians,” Francis said during Mass on Thursday, Vatican Radio reported.

“A Christian without a church is something purely idealistic, it is not real,” the Roman Catholic Church leader argued. He said that one cannot “understand a Christian alone” any more than “Jesus Christ alone” can be understood.

The Vatican leader urged believers to “ask for the grace of memory, the memory of the journey that the people of God has made,” as well as for personal memory – “What God did for me, in my life, how has He made me walk.”

He added that the “grace of hope” is also necessary for Christian identity, explaining that he does not mean optimism, but “something else.” “Ask for the grace to renew the covenant with the Lord who has called us every day,” Francis said.

“Jesus Christ did not fall from the sky like a superhero who comes to save us. No. Jesus Christ has a history. And we can say, and it is true, that God has a history because He wanted to walk with us. And you cannot understand Jesus Christ without His history. So a Christian without history, without a Christian nation, a Christian without the Church is incomprehensible. It is a thing of the laboratory, an artificial thing, a thing that cannot give life,” Francis said.

During Mass on Monday, Francis also theorized about alien life forms, and suggested that even Martians should be welcomed to be baptized as well.

“If – for example – tomorrow an expedition of Martians came, and some of them came to us, here … Martians, right? Green, with that long nose and big ears, just like children paint them … And one says, ‘But I want to be baptized!’ What would happen?” Pope Francis remarked, and told the audience that baptism is open to everyone. He also recalled the words of Peter: “If then God gave them the same gift He gave to us when we came to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I to be able to hinder God?” ARTICLE ENDS

Where to even begin this makes me angry, sick to my stomach, as well it should do the same to all of God's children. Read through John 3:15-19:

John 15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

Where does our Lord say anything about the Church? It is between the sinner and Jesus. No works, no Pastor, no denomination, no Priest, no Pope. Belief on Him.

Even if we don't belong to any church we can be saved. (The Lord does tell us not to forsake the local assembly, it is good to have fellowship with like-minded believers). What happens to the death bed salvation? They don't get baptisted, they don't go door-door, they don't kiss the priest ring, or any idols. They do get saved if they confess Jesus Christ is Lord.

The awful section he is speaking of Jesus not falling from the sky. He didn't fall from the sky if he read the Bible he would know he was born of a virgin (he should know that they encourage worship of Mary), and HE did come to save us all who believeth on him are saved. What kind of history is he trying to refer to? Jesus Christ is perfect in everyway, always was, and will always be. Jesus Christ can give life and take life and he is the ONLY one that has the right to do so.

1Timothy 1:14 And the grace of our Lord was exceeding abundant with faith and love which is in Christ Jesus.

1Timothy 1:15 This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief.

1Timothy 1:16 Howbeit for this cause I obtained mercy, that in me first Jesus Christ might shew forth all longsuffering, for a pattern to them which should hereafter believe on him to life everlasting.

1Timothy 1:17 Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Luke 19:10 For the Son of man is come to seek and to save that which was lost.

Matthew 1:20 But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost.

Matthew 1:21 And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call his name JESUS: for he shall save his people from their sins.

Matthew 1:22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,

Matthew 1:23 Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.

Matthew 1:24 Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took unto him his wife:

Matthew 1:25 And knew her not till she had brought forth her firstborn son: and he called his name JESUS.

2Timothy 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.

2Timothy 1:8 Be not thou therefore ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me his prisoner: but be thou partaker of the afflictions of the gospel according to the power of God;

2Timothy 1:9 Who hath saved us, and called us with an holy calling, not according to our works, but according to his own purpose and grace, which was given us in Christ Jesus before the world began,

2Timothy 1:10 But is now made manifest by the appearing of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath abolished death, and hath brought life and immortality to light through the gospel:

Jesus Has no History of Sin, being fleshy, and it angers me that A Pope, or any one would dare say or insinuate it of my Perfect Jesus Christ.

Hebrews 4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

Hebrews 4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

1John 3:3 And every man that hath this hope in him purifieth himself, even as he is pure.

1John 3:4 Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.

1John 3:5 And ye know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.

2Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God.

2Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

Philippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Philippians 2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

Philippians 2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

Philippians 2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

ALWAYS CHECK GOD'S WORD WITH WHAT YOUR TAUGHT, THE BIBLE TELLS US THAT, AND A GOOD PREACHER WILL TELL YOU THAT. MY PASTOR HAS SAID GO HOME AND LOOK AT THESE VERSES. HE GIVES US THE SCRIPTURE WE ARE LEARNING FOR THAT REASON. IN THE VERSES I GAVE YOU TODAY DID YOU SEE ANYTHING OF WHAT CHURCH, WHAT DENOMINATION TO GO TO FOR SALVATION? NO BECAUSE IT IS NOT THERE. DID IT TELL YOU TO WORSHIP ANY MAN? NO BECAUSE WE ARE TOLD NOT TOO.

WE PRAISE THEE O'GOD

We praise Thee, O God!

For the Son of Thy love,

For Jesus who died,

And is now gone above.

All glory and praise

To the Lamb that was slain,

Who hath borne all our sins,

And hath cleansed every stain.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.

Hallelujah! Amen.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.

Revive us again.

We praise Thee, O God!

For Thy Spirit of light,

Who hath shown us our Savior,

And scattered our night.

All glory and praise

To the Lamb that was slain,

Who hath borne all our sins,

And hath cleansed every stain.

All glory and praise

To the God of all grace,

Who hast bought us, and sought us,

And guided our ways.

All glory and praise

To the Lamb that was slain,

Who hath borne all our sins,

And hath cleansed every stain.

Revive us again;

Fill each heart with Thy love;

May each soul be rekindled

With fire from above.

All glory and praise

To the Lamb that was slain,

Who hath borne all our sins,

And hath cleansed every stain.

AT CALVARY

Years I spent in vanity and pride,

Caring not my Lord was crucified,

Knowing not it was for me He died

On Calvary. Mercy

there was great, and grace was free;

Pardon there was multiplied to me;

There my burdened soul found liberty,

At Calvary.

By God’s Word at last my sin I learned;

Then I trembled at the law I’d spurned,

Till my guilty soul imploring turned

To Calvary.

Now I’ve giv’n to Jesus everything,

Now I gladly own Him as my King,

Now my raptured soul can only sing

Of Calvary.

Oh, the love that drew salvation’s plan!

Oh, the grace that brought it down to man!

Oh, the mighty gulf that God did span

At Calvary

Follower or Leader

Posted by Cheryl on February 25, 2015 at 7:05 PM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! Follower or Leader?

Someone Once Said "Lead, Follow, Or Get Out Of The Way"; The Church must stand on the and up for the truth. Therefore two important types of people are needed strong faithful Leaders, strong, faithful followers.

I. THERE ARE LEADERS AND THERE ARE GREAT LEADERS.

Without a doubt, Jesus Christ was the greatest leader that ever lived. He invented the concept, laid out the principles,

A. What Is A Leader?

It was said one time: “Everyone that considers themselves a leader should look behind them every once in a while and see if anyone is following them.” Furthermore, one ought to be concerned with the character of the folks following them. A person is known by the company they keep, Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. The people following you are either sharpening you or they are making you unfit for the Lord’s service. What are you doing for them?

For the past 2,000 years, Jesus Christ has always had followers. Some were more dedicated and sincere than others. Regardless, He inspired others to be like Him.

Each of us has an idea of what a leaders looks like, how they should act, and we can describe

what we believe a good leader’s attributes are. We have preconceived idea of what we expect

from a leader and if the leader does not match our image, the leader is doomed for failure from

the start.1Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance,

or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as

man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the

heart.

Defining attributes of great leaders.

What are the actions and attributes of a leader? What is it that makes him or her different from others when it comes to inspiring people to go above and beyond what they thought they could do?

Below are some items that go into the characteristics and qualities of a leader. Keep in mind this list is not all definitive, but most would agree that a leader ought to possess many of the following:

1. A leader learns to use the phrases "thank you" and "please" on his way to the top.

2. A leader is always growing.

3. A leader is not afraid of confrontation. Prov 20:26 A wise king scattereth the wicked, and bringeth the wheel over them.

4. A leader is a person of honesty and integrity.

5. A leader has a good name.

6. A leader does not permit murmuring—from himself or others.

7. A leader is specific in what he expects.

8. A leader holds accountable those who work with and for him.

9. A leader does what is right rather than what is popular.

10. A leader is a servant,

19. COMMITMENT! The key to all the above

Keep in mind if we are leaders we need to be sure we are leading properly because if we are wrong, we can be leading many astray.

Followers what we need to know!!!

1. Deciding – First you must decide that you will be more than a hanger-on. You have to decide that you will follow Him. He says, “If anyone wants to come with Me.” If you want to be a disciple of Jesus, if you want to be a follower of His, you must decide.

2. Denying Yourself – First, you must deny yourself. To be a disciple of Jesus Christ, means more than simply knowing that He is the Messiah. It means that you are also willing to deny yourself. Denying yourself doesn’t mean so much, thinking less of yourself. It means, thinking of yourself less. We need to be more concerned with Jesus and others than with self.

a. Wisdom In denying yourself, you deny your wisdom. It was the wisdom of b. Families – In denying yourself, you no longer allow your families, and their preferences, keep you from following Christ. You love Him more than them. You must love him more than self.

b. Friends – You deny your friendships. You cut loose those that keep you from growing, or than keep you from being a true disciple of Christ.

c. Property – You deny ownership, or the rights to your property. You place everything you have in the Lord’s hands to do with as He pleases. You say, “Lord, no material thing, no possession, no toy or hobby will be more important in my life than you. I have a friend who has a pretty good library. She uses her books quite regularly, and yet she is willing to loan them to people when they ask. Although she values her books, she says, “They belong to the Lord and I trust Him with them. He knows where they need to go and who needs them.”

d. Preferences – Being a disciple of Christ also means that you deny, you forgo, you give up many of your preferences for Christ. Before anything that is truly of God can be born, your own preferences have to die. Your desire to serve or lead in this type of church or that, has to be laid on the altar & sacrificed in order to receive Christ’s call and mission to this community.

Paul was speaking to that when in Galations 2:20. I am crucified with Christ. Nevertheless I live, yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.

A disciple decides to be a follower of Christ. A disciple denies himself and chooses instead to serve another.

3. Taking up your Cross

We speak lightly of “bearing our crosses” these days. Not everything you endure, not everything you suffer is a cross. The Bible says: Many pains come to the wicked, …

A cross is something you willing, voluntarily endure or accept, simply because you are a Christian and have chosen to follow Christ’s path instead of your own.

Taking up your cross means you have a willingness to do anything, even suffer martyrdom, if need be, for Christ.

4. Follow Christ – It is a daily decision to walk with Jesus. Christianity is not an add-on to our already full, self-directed way of life. Discipleship means deliberately choosing to follow another person’s way rather than making our own.

II. REASONS FOR DISCIPLESHIP

Luke 9:23-25

23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

24For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

1Timothy 3:14 These things write I unto thee, hoping to come unto thee shortly:

1Timothy 3:15 But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself in the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth.

1Timothy 3:16 And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

John 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.

John 17:18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

1Corinthians 3:11 For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.

1Corinthians 3:12 Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;

James 1:21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves.

James 1:23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass:

James 1:24 For he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.

Proverbs 27:17 Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend.

Proverbs 27:18 Whoso keepeth the fig tree shall eat the fruit thereof: so he that waiteth on his master shall be honoured.

Matthew 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.

Matthew 4:20 And they straightway left their nets, and followed him.

Matthew 16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

Matthew 16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

Matthew 16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Mathewt 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

GIVE OF YOUR BEST TO THE MASTER

Give of your best to the Master;

Give of the strength of your youth;

Throw your soul’s fresh, glowing ardor

Into the battle for truth.

Jesus has set the example,

Dauntless was He, young and brave;

Give Him your loyal devotion;

Give Him the best that you have.

Give of your best to the Master;

Give of the strength of your youth;

Clad in salvation’s full armor,

Join in the battle for truth.

Give of your best to the Master;

Give Him first place in your heart;

Give Him first place in your service;

Consecrate every part.

Give, and to you will be given;

God His beloved Son gave;

Gratefully seeking to serve Him,

Give Him the best that you have.

Give of your best to the Master;

Naught else is worthy His love;

He gave Himself for your ransom,

Gave up His glory above.

Laid down His life without murmur,

You from sin’s ruin to save;

Give Him your heart’s adoration;

Give Him the best that you have.

LOVE LIFTED ME

I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore,

Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more,

But the Master of the sea, heard my despairing cry,

From the waters lifted me, now safe am I.

Love lifted me! Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help

Love lifted me!

Love lifted me! Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help

Love lifted me!

All my heart to Him I give, ever to Him I’ll cling

In His blessèd presence live, ever His praises sing,

Love so mighty and so true, merits my soul’s best songs,

Faithful, loving service too, to Him belongs.

Love lifted me! Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help

Love lifted me!

Love lifted me! Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help

Love lifted me!

Souls in danger look above, Jesus completely saves,

He will lift you by His love, out of the angry waves.

He’s the Master of the sea, billows His will obey,

He your Savior wants to be, be saved today.

Love lifted me! Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help

Love lifted me!

Love lifted me! Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help

Love lifted me!

Agape Love

Posted by Cheryl on February 23, 2015 at 9:15 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! Agape Love

Our Precious Lord Loves Us His Children With An Agape Love; Agape love is the highest love of the four mentioned in the word of God. The definition of Agape is selfless, sacrificial, unconditional love, the highest of the four types of love in the Bible.

What did the Lord do for us that shows us agape love: Read Romans 5:8-13

HE WILLING CAME HERE TO DIE, SPILL HIS BLOOD FOR US. PAYING THE SIN DEBT FOR EACH ONE OF US. HE DIDN'T PICK AND CHOOSE FAVORITES. HE DIDN'T PICK A CERTAIN CLASS, RICH, POOR, MIDDLE. HE DIDN'T JUST PICK WHITE, BLACK, ASAIN ALL CAN COME TO SALVATION HE DIED FOR ALL!!!! HE IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN, NOT WORKS, NOT MONEY, NOT A CERTAIN CHURCH, NOT A PRIEST OR THE POPE.

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him.

Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Romans 5:11 And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Romans 5:13 (For until the law sin was in the world: but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

This was done before any of us were born, before our Grandparents, our great-grandparents 10x over, and he did this for Cheryl, Debbie, Joseph, Charlie, Tom, put your name here because you were thought of by the Lord, the King of kings, and Lord of lords, the Precious Savior.

He created the whole world for us, flowers, trees, lakes, mountains for our enjoyment.

Consider what an awesome sight this world must have been right after God created it, before man got a hold of it. We tend to forget how majestic earth he created really is, especially when houses, big buildings, cars, and pollution surround us at every turn. Sometimes spending a little time in nature is all we need to remind us of the Lord’s affection. He didn't have to "Beautifully Landscape" it as he did for us. He did it for our Enjoyment

He cares for us, not just when we are obedient, but always. However why would we not want to be obedient to Our Lord who Loves us so much!!

God continually watches over us, providing our needs. He protects and guides us, and answers our prayers. The Lord may not always work in the time frame we expect, but if we’re faithful to wait on Him, He will always come through for us according to His will. The best way to learn about God’s deep concern for His children is to spend time reading Scripture and meditating on it through prayerful interaction with Him. If we devote ourselves to the Lord, we will discover that He is always caring toward us.

His Promise which he always keeps unlike ourselves.

God promises that He will love us unconditionally—and won’t ever leave or forsake us. If God

loved us only sometimes but not all the time, that would mean His character, feelings, or attitude

is changeable. But our Lord never changes. Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the sameyesterday,

and to day, and for ever. Neither is His love contingent upon us. Whether or not we go to

church, tithe, witness, pray enough. God’s affection is always the same. You can't do anything

to deserve it, to earn it, to buy your way to it, and you can't do anything to keep Him from

loving you.

A thought to consider : Knowing the Lord loves us with an Agape love why would we not want to return the love and serve him with gladness, joy, and willingness. If we see a need, or hear of a need. It may be a need at Church, or with the Brethren, the Pastor, get up, and take care of it. If our Lord takes care of our needs AND HE DOES lets do the same as him, and see where we can serve with joy, and gladness.

LET US LOVE THE LORD, AND SERVE HIM DAILY WITH AN AGAPE LOVE. LET THE WORLD SEE HOW IMPORTANT JESUS TRULY IS TO US. LET THEM APPROACH US AND ASK WHY IS THIS JESUS SO IMPORTANT TO YOU.

John 14:20 At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you.

John 14:21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

1John 4:8 He that loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.

1John 4:9 In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.

1John 4:10 Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.

1John 4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.

1John 4:12 No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

John 13:32 If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.

John 13:33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

John 13:36 Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

John 13:37 Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow thee now? I will lay down my life for thy sake.

John 13:38 Jesus answered him, Wilt thou lay down thy life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto thee, The cock shall not crow, till thou hast denied me thrice.

Ephesians 1:2 Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

Ephesians 1:4 According as he hath chosen us in him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before him in love:

Ephesians 1:5 Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to himself, according to the good pleasure of his will,

Ephesians 1:6 To the praise of the glory of his grace, wherein he hath made us accepted in the beloved.

Ephesians 1:7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;

BE THOU MY VISION

Be Thou my Vision, O Lord of my heart;

Naught be all else to me, save that Thou art.

Thou my best Thought, by day or by night,

Waking or sleeping, Thy presence my light.

Be Thou my Wisdom, and Thou my true Word;

I ever with Thee and Thou with me, Lord;

Thou my great Father, I Thy true son;

Thou in me dwelling, and I with Thee one.

Be Thou my battle Shield, Sword for the fight;

Be Thou my Dignity, Thou my Delight;

Thou my soul’s Shelter, Thou my high Tower:

Raise Thou me heavenward, O Power of my power.

Riches I heed not, nor man’s empty praise,

Thou mine Inheritance, now and always:

Thou and Thou only, first in my heart,

High King of Heaven, my Treasure Thou art.

High King of Heaven, my victory won,

May I reach Heaven’s joys, O bright Heaven’s Sun!

Heart of my own heart, whatever befall,

Still be my Vision, O Ruler of all.

SO SEND I YOU

So send I you to labour unrewarded

To serve unpaid, unloved, unsought, unknown

To bear rebuke, ot suffer scorn and scoffing

So send I you to toil for Me alone

So send I you to bind the bruised and broken

Over wandering souls to work, to weep, to wake

To bear the burdens of a world a-weary

So send I you to suffer for My sake

So send I you to loneliness and longing

With hart a-hungering for tthe loved and known

Forsaking kin and kindred, friend and dear one

So send I you to know My love alone

So send I you to leave your life's ambition

To die to dear desire, self-will resign

To labour long, and love where men revile you

So send I you to lsoe you life in Mine

So send I you to hearts made hard by hatred

To eyes made blind because they will not see

To spend, though it be blood to spend and spare not

So send I you to taste of Calvary

PRAYER AND PROMISE

Posted by Cheryl on February 22, 2015 at 6:25 AM Comments comments (0)

Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! Praise & Worship The Lord Today!!! A Promise & A Prayer

A PRECIOUS PROMISE

1Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

God is so good to us. We read here in 1Corinthians he will not allow one of his children to have a temptation in our life that is too much for us to bear; but he will always give us a way out. I am not saying he is the one that gives us the temptation. I am also not saying we immediately take the way out, oftentimes we ignore the way out, step right on it and walk right into the sin.

Isaiah 40:29 He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength.

PRAY, SEEK HIS WILL, PRAY, SEEK HIS WILL, PRAY, READ HIS WORD!!!!

A PRECIOUS PRAYER

Numbers 12:10 And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.

Numbers 12:11 And Aaron said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I beseech thee, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.

Numbers 12:12 Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he cometh out of his mother's womb.

Numbers 12:13 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I beseech thee.

Numbers 12:14 And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.

Numbers 12:15 And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again.

Miriam became leprous, Aaron went to Moses and told him they had sinned they had sinned and Miriam had become Leprous, and said "let her not become one of the dead". Moses cryed out to the LORD, "Heal her now, God, I Beseech". The LORD explains to Moses what to do, Moses obeys, and Miriam after seven days is healed.

THANK YOU LORD FOR ANSWERED PRAYERS, ITS NOT US DOING ANY HEALING IT IS YOU LORD.

FOR GOD SO LOVED THE WORLD

For God so loved the world

That He gave His only begotten Son,

That everyone who believes into Him

Would not perish. For God so loved the world

That He gave His only begotten Son,

That everyone who believes into Him

Would not perish,

But would have eternal life. O how I adore my Lord,

For He has died for me.

O how I adore my Lord,

For He has given life to me. For God so loved the world

That He gave His only begotten Son,

That everyone who believes into Him

Would not perish,

But would have eternal life.

ALAS AND DID MY SAVIOR BLEED

Alas! and did my Savior bleed

And did my Sovereign die?

Would He devote that sacred head

For such a worm as I

At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light,

And the burden of my heart rolled away,

It was there by faith I received my sight,

And now I am happy all the day!

Thy body slain, sweet Jesus, Thine—

And bathed in its own blood—

While the firm mark of wrath divine,

His Soul in anguish stood.

Was it for crimes that I had done

He groaned upon the tree?

Amazing pity! grace unknown!

And love beyond degree!

Well might the sun in darkness hide

And shut his glories in,

When Christ, the mighty Maker died,

For man the creature’s sin.

Thus might I hide my blushing face

While His dear cross appears,

Dissolve my heart in thankfulness,

And melt my eyes to tears.

But drops of grief can ne’er repay

The debt of love I owe:

Here, Lord, I give my self away

’Tis all that I can do.

At the cross, at the cross where I first saw the light,

And the burden of my heart rolled away,

It was there by faith I received my sight,

And now I am happy all the day!

MINISTRY GOOD

Posted by Cheryl on February 19, 2015 at 7:35 PM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Thursday!!! "Perfection"

Some Believers Have Become So Great They Are No Good For Ministry:  Another Way to look at it as we have heard often is "Don't be so heavenly minded that you're no no earthly good".

This is actually a pride issue, a heart issue. Pride is really an awful thing starting with Lucifer and that is why he got thrown out of Heaven, he wanted to be as God the Most High. The following verses are about Lucifer (Satan):

Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!

Isaiah 14:13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:

Isaiah 14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.

Isaiah 14:15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.

PRIDE WILL DESTROY!!!!

Well getting back to us.

This saying usually goes with some new believers or can go with the mature Believer who has a pride issue.

A New Believer, he has taken salvation and decided "I am good, I am saved my old world was dirty I refuse to go back" I will tell them about their sin, lifestyle, that they will go to hell. I will never go anywhere the world is. First of all we are not the Holyspirit and to act as if we are is pretty prideful. Second the only difference between us and them we are saved. We go to the lost witness to them in love, and grace, if they choose not to hear we walk away. NEVER do we go to them and pridefully tell them "I am going to Heaven and you are going to hell you wicked sinner", witness to them, let the Holy Spirit convict them. Keep in mind before salvation the sins your yelling at them for, you were enjoying right along with them.

The mature believer can sometimes fall into this. At times the older Christian can become prideful and become useless to ministry because they know it all. They look at the word as "all the information I have I get bored talking to others" time for me to sit back and edify myself and watch for Jesus" not all mature Christians but a few get in this trap.

Then there are the people who get saved say "Yes I am saved I am good, just sit back watch the news, and wait for Jesus. I don't have to go and witness others do that, not really my problem, and besides what if I say the wrong thing and someone gets more confused".

We are here to serve the Lord, to minister to one another, to the lost. If we become prideful to the point where the Lord can't depend on us for service, and glorying unto him, that is truly sad. It becomes even more dreadful if it is a pride issue.

Proverbs 16:17 The highway of the upright is to depart from evil: he that keepeth his way preserveth his soul.

Proverbs 16:18 Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Proverbs 16:19 Better it is to be of an humble spirit with the lowly, than to divide the spoil with the proud.

What is better for us to prove ourselves to be something we are not? Or is it better to be humble and to please the Lord he who died for us, and loves us more than anyone possible can?

Hebrews 10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

1Thessalonians 5:11 Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.

1Thessalonians 5:12 And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;

1Thessalonians 5:13 And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves.

1Thessalonians 5:14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.

1Thessalonians 5:15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.

1Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore.

Psalm 11:1 In the LORD put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?

Psalm 11:2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privily shoot at the upright in heart.

Psalm 11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?

Psalm 11:4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD'S throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.

Psalm 11:5 The LORD trieth the righteous: but the wicked and him that loveth violence his soul hateth.

Psalm 11:6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.

Psalm 11:7 For the righteous LORD loveth righteousness; his countenance doth behold the upright.

RESCUE THE PERISHING

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,

Snatch them in pity from sin and the grave;

Weep o’er the erring one, lift up the fallen,

Tell them of Jesus, the mighty to save.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,

Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

Though they are slighting Him, still He is waiting,

Waiting the penitent child to receive;

Plead with them earnestly, plead with them gently;

He will forgive if they only believe.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,

Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

Down in the human heart, crushed by the tempter,

Feelings lie buried that grace can restore;

Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness,

Chords that were broken will vibrate once more.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,

Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

Rescue the perishing, duty demands it;

Strength for thy labor the Lord will provide;

Back to the narrow way patiently win them;

Tell the poor wand’rer a Savior has died.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,

Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

SEEKING THE LOST

Seeking the lost, yes, kindly entreating

Wanderers on the mountain astray;

“Come unto Me,” His message repeating,

Words of the Master speaking today.

Going afar (going afar)

Upon the mountain (upon the mountain)

Bringing the wanderer back again, back again,

Into the fold (into the fold)

Of my Redeemer (of my Redeemer)

Jesus the Lamb for sinners slain, for sinners slain.

Seeking the lost and pointing to Jesus

Souls that are weak and hearts that are sore,

Leading them forth in ways of salvation,

Showing the path to life evermore.

Going afar (going afar)

Upon the mountain (upon the mountain)

Bringing the wanderer back again, back again,

Into the fold (into the fold)

Of my Redeemer (of my Redeemer)

Jesus the Lamb for sinners slain, for sinners slain.

Thus would I go on missions of mercy,

Following Christ from day unto day,

Cheering the faint and raising the fallen,

Pointing the lost to Jesus, the Way.

Going afar (going afar)

Upon the mountain (upon the mountain)

Bringing the wanderer back again, back again,

Into the fold (into the fold)

Of my Redeemer (of my Redeemer)

Jesus the Lamb for sinners slain, for sinners slain.
