PROMISE AND A PRAYER

Posted by Cheryl on March 27, 2015 at 7:50 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Friday!!! A Promise & A Prayer

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

Psalm 84:11 For the LORD God is a sun and shield: the LORD will give grace and glory: no good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.

Psalm 84:12 O LORD of hosts, blessed is the man that trusteth in thee.

The Lord has both grace and glory in infinite abundance; Jesus is the fulness of both, and, as his children, we shall receive both as a free gift from the God of our salvation. What more can the Lord give, or we receive, or desire. No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly. We are given what we needed but he will also give us grace, glory, which will help us so much and in this world we need it, Our Lord is a strong shield also needed to use against the wiles of Satan our enemy. We truly need to walk uprightly, remember we can't be trying to serve two masters, and don't fool yourself if we are not following God we are following Satan the enemy, and things of this world. We need to take a self-check who are we following? Are we following the Lord uprightly?

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

Psalm 51:9 Hide thy face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.

Psalm 51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.

This is a beautiful chapter in Psalm. We need to get on our knees and pray this chapter unto our Precious Lord. Keep in mind when we go before the Lord asking for change lets be serious about it, and truly work at it.

HOW CAN IT BE

HOWcan it be that I should gain an interest in the Savior's blood! Died he for me?

who caused his pain! For me? who him to death pursued? Amazing love!

How can it be that thou, my God, shouldst die for me? Amazing love!

How can it be that thou, my God, shouldst die for me? . '

Tis mystery all: th' Immortal dies! Who can explore his strange design?

In vain the firstborn seraph tries to sound the depths of love divine.

'Tis mercy all! Let earth adore; let angel minds inquire no more.

'Tis mercy all! Let earth adore; let angel minds inquire no more.

He left his Father's throne above (so free, so infinite his grace!),

emptied himself of all but love, and bled for Adam's helpless race.

'Tis mercy all, immense and free, for O my God, it found out me!

'Tis mercy all, immense and free, for O my God, it found out me!

Long my imprisoned spirit lay, fast bound in sin and nature's night;

thine eye diffused a quickening ray; I woke, the dungeon flamed with light;

my chains fell off, my heart was free, I rose, went forth, and followed thee.

My chains fell off, my heart was free, I rose, went forth, and followed thee.

No condemnation now I dread; Jesus, and all in him, is mine; alive in him,

my living Head, and clothed in righteousness divine,

bold I approach th' eternal throne, and claim the crown,

through Christ my own. Bold I approach th' eternal throne,

and claim the crown, through Christ my own.

I KNOW WHOM I HAVE BELIEVED

I know not why God's wondrous grace to me he hath made known, nor why, unworthy,

Christ in love redeemed me for his own.

But I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I've committed unto him against that day.

I know not how this saving faith to me he did impart, nor how believing in his word wrought peace within my heart.

But I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I've committed unto him against that day.

I know not how the Spirit moves, convincing us of sin, revealing Jesus through the word, creating faith in him.

But I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I've committed unto him against that day.

I know not when my Lord may come, at night or noonday fair, nor if I walk the vale with him, or meet him in the air.

But I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I've committed unto him against that day.

PEACE REAL PEACE

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Thursday!!! Joy&Peace

Think About What Jesus Was Concerned About Just Hours Before His Death: PEACE For US; It is one of the most amazing and wonderful and sweetest things in the Bible to realize that just hours before Jesus was crucified he was concerned for the peace and the faith of his followers. Think of it. He is about to be tortured to death with one of the most horrific means of torture ever devised, for us he wasn't paying his sin debt, he was paying our sin debt in full. Keep in mind he had no sin he was, and is perfect, no spot, no blemish, perfect lamb of God.

What would we be doing if we knew that we would not only be killed tomorrow, but tortured for who knows how long? How many of us would be able to consciously be thinking of peace for the brethren? Some may go back and forth on how much pain their family will feel, but for the most part we would be scared, and dreading the awful pain we would be about to feel.

This is what he is aiming at just before he suffers. I want you to have peace.I want you to believe in what I say and what I do — to have unshakable faith. I want you to have the kind of peace that I give, not the peace world gives but true and honest peace. The kind of joy that I give, not the world. He is not off by himself dreading his torture of the next day, he is comforting the disciples, his followers, he is not putting himself before anyone.

In the last hours of his life Jesus is helping you become a fearless and peaceful person. The peace he has in mind may include the final peace of all things in the new heaven and the new earth. But that is not what he is focusing on. We know that because he says, “Let not your heart be troubled. Neither let it be afraid.” He has in view your heart, and the peace of your heart, and the fearlessness of your heart, and the untroubled waters of your heart. He wants his people now, to be free from anxiety. This is why he tells us worry is wrong, he tells us in his word it is a sin. I believe it is a sin because we are doubting his word. He reassures us and we call him a liar by worrying and basically saying "Lord I know you say you can do all things, but I say you can't so I will worry instead".

Our Precious Lord Can Do All Things. He can't Sin, So When He Gives His Word We Need To Believe, Trust, and Obey. If His Concern Was Us Hours Before His Horrific Death How Can We Think His First Concern Is Not Us Now? We Need To Get Concerned About Doing Right According To Him And Not According To Self Or This World!!!!

Faith. Joy. Peace!!! We Have An Amazing Savior. And A Great Salvation.

John 14:25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

John 14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

John 14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

John 14:28 Ye have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If ye loved me, ye would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

John 14:29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe.

John 14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world cometh, and hath nothing in me.

John 14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go hence.

2Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

1Corinthians 2:12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

1Corinthians 2:13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man's wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Ghost teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual.

1Corinthians 2:14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

Hebrews 1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

Hebrews 12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

Hebrews 12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Philippians 4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Proverbs 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

Proverbs 16:7 When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

John 16:31 Jesus answered them, Do ye now believe?

John 16:32 Behold, the hour cometh, yea, is now come, that ye shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

John 16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

SWEET PEACE,THE GIFT OF GOD'S LOVE

There comes to my heart one sweet strain,

A glad and a joyous refrain;

I sing it again and again--

Sweet peace, the gift of God’s love.

Peace, peace, sweet peace!

Wonderful gift from above!

O wonderful, wonderful peace!

Sweet peace, the gift of God’s love!

Thro' Christ on the cross peace was made,

My debt by His death was all paid;

No other foundation is laid

For peace, the gift of God’s love.

Peace, peace, sweet peace!

Wonderful gift from above!

O wonderful, wonderful peace!

Sweet peace, the gift of God’s love!

When Jesus as Lord I had crowned,

My heart with this peace did abound;

In Him the rich blessing I found--

Sweet peace, the gift of God’s love.

Peace, peace, sweet peace!

Wonderful gift from above!

O wonderful, wonderful peace!

Sweet peace, the gift of God’s love!

In Jesus for peace I abide,

And as I keep close to His side,

There’s nothing but peace doth betide--

Sweet peace, the gift of God’s love.

Peace, peace, sweet peace!

Wonderful gift from above!

O wonderful, wonderful peace!

Sweet peace, the gift of God’s love!

WONDERFUL PEACE

Far away in the depths of my spirit tonight

Rolls a melody sweeter than psalm;

In celestial strains it unceasingly falls

O’er my soul like an infinite calm.

Peace, peace, wonderful peace,

Coming down from the Father above!

Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray

In fathomless billows of love!

What a treasure I have in this wonderful peace,

Buried deep in the heart of my soul,

So secure that no power can mine it away,

While the years of eternity roll!

Peace, peace, wonderful peace,

Coming down from the Father above!

Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray

In fathomless billows of love!

I am resting tonight in this wonderful peace,

Resting sweetly in Jesus’ control;

For I’m kept from all danger by night and by day,

And His glory is flooding my soul!

Peace, peace, wonderful peace,

Coming down from the Father above!

Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray

In fathomless billows of love!

And I think when I rise to that city of peace,

Where the Anchor of peace I shall see,

That one strain of the song which the ransomed will sing

In that heavenly kingdom will be:

Peace, peace, wonderful peace,

Coming down from the Father above!

Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray

In fathomless billows of love!

Ah, soul! are you here without comfort and rest,

Marching down the rough pathway of time?

Make Jesus your Friend ere the shadows grow dark;

O accept of this peace so sublime!

Peace, peace, wonderful peace,

Coming down from the Father above!

Sweep over my spirit forever, I pray

In fathomless billows of love!

HELL IS REAL

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Wednesday!!! HELL

We Have Come To A Time Where Few Preachers Will Preach On A Literal Hell, However It Doesn't Change The Fact It Is There; Even though the Lord has put a warning in Revelation 22:19 on not taking away or adding to his word many have, and sadly hell has been a big one people have altered. God has told us Hell is for all who reject Jesus. When Hell was first made it was for Satan and his followers. Preaching on hell has diminished. We hear many light, fuzzy, and warm sermons about peace, goodness, brotherhood, and the social gospel, but some congregations never hear hell even mentioned. These are ok to talk about, but we need to give the whole truths. However this is why letting others know of eternity in Heaven is not only important, and loving, it is our responsibility.

Many people have gotten to the point that they believe if they are "GOOD" they will go to Heaven, this is just not true, and as Born-Again believers we know that is not true. People on the way to hell may be living a better moral correct life than most Christians. Hwever if they are rejecting Jesus they will be spending eternity in Hell, and NO IT ISN'T GOD SENDING THEM THERE THEY CHOSE IT BY FREE WILL BY REJECTING THE LORD!!!! It is pretty cruel on our part not to be out there warning them, giving the Gospel Truths. Just keep in mind the right ways to do it. Preach John 3:16, Romans 10:9, Ephesians 2:8&9. Keep in mind if we start screaming about their sin all that does is get them angry, makes us sound angry, we talk of salvation, bring them to Jesus and Let the Holy Spirit work on the rest.

Hell is a place of vilest companions, Devils, hopelessness, suffering, memory, constant thirst, torture, no relief, utter darkness, why would we not want to warn family, friends neighbors, and even enemies? If your neighbors house was burning would you not warn them?

Heaven is a place of Beauty, comfort, no sin, LIGHT, no harm, all our needs met, no sickness, no evil. Isn't this where we would have all our friends, family, even our enemies go for all eternity?

TELL OTHERS OF JESUS WHAT HE DID FOR EACH ONE OF US, HE PAID OUR SIN DEBT IN FULL, WE DO NOTHING BUT BELIEVE. IT ISN'T WHAT CHURCH WE GO TO, NOT HOW MUCH WE GIVE, NOT COMMUNION, NOT BAPTISM, NOT PRAYING TO ANY SAINT WE ARE TOLD NOT TO PRAY TO ANYONE BUT THE LORD. IT IS NOT ABOUT ANYTHING BUT JESUS CHRIST!!!!

Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

Luke16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:

Luke 16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,

Luke 16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.

Luke 16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;

Luke 16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.

Luke 16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.

Luke 16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.

Luke 16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.

Luke 16:27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:

Luke 16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.

Luke 16:29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.

Luke 16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.

Luke 16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

John3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Revelation 22:1-5

And he shewed me a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.

In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:

And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.

And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

AMEN AND THANK YOU LORD!!!!!

EACH ONE REACH ONE

Tonight a man is somewhere proclaiming the good news

Winning families to Jesus all around his neighborhood

He tells them that God is able to make their house a home

He wants to win his world for Christ, but he can't do it alone

But each one can reach one

As we follow after Christ we all can lead one

We can lead one to the Savior

And together we can tell the world that Jesus is the way

If we each one reach one

The message is unchanging, "Go ye into all the world"

And share the love of Jesus far away or door to door

You see, just like somebody told you that Jesus loves you so

You must tell someone, who will tell someone,

Until the whole world knows

That each one can reach one

As we follow after Christ we all can lead one

We can lead one to the Savior

And together we can tell the world that Jesus is the way

If we each one reach one

So will you go and labor

Will you hold high your light

One by one and two by two

We can win our world for Jesus Christ

And each one can reach one

As we follow after Christ we all can lead one

We can lead one to the Savior

And together we can tell the world that Jesus is the way

If we each one reach one

LIFT HIGH THE CROSS

Lift high the cross, the love of Christ proclaim,

Till all the world adore His sacred Name.

Led on their way by this triumphant sign,

The hosts of God in conquering ranks combine.

Each newborn servant of the Crucified

Bears on the brow the seal of Him Who died.

O Lord, once lifted on the glorious tree,

As Thou hast promised, draw the world to Thee.

So shall our song of triumph ever be:

Praise to the Crucified for victory.

Unanswered Prayers

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Tuesday!!! Unanswered Prayers

There Are Different Reasons For Unanswered Prayers We Will Talk About, Trust, Maturity, Attention, Perseverance, Timing; Why does the Lord remain silent when we are asking, and asking for a certain request? Sometimes we are not hearing his voice, he maybe telling us something and we are so anxious over one thing we are ignoring the sound of his voice. He may be trying to get our attention over something that is very important and we are so caught up in something and totally missing it. We may need to just take some time in quiet and really listen, and ask him.

Trust this is a big one, we go before the Lord and ask and yet we are not trusting. We tell others they need to trust, and find that so easy to say, but when it comes to our heart we have problems with that trust thing. The Lord may be trying to help us learn trust. How often are we praying and in our heart are we thinking "why am I asking only others get prayer answered". Just because you do not have an immediate answer does not mean he is ignoring you. He's already working on the situation. Whatever He's doing is good, even if you can't perceive the out come. We are called to live by faith, not by feelings or sight The important issue is not what you see or feel, but what God has promised: Remember the Lord and him alone knows what is best, in our minds we think we do, he has the best solution.

Immaturity is characterized by an unwillingness to wait. The Lord often times has to teach us maturity. Any mother of a newborn can testify to this: when the baby's hungry, there's no peace until he's fed. Sadly, that's how some Christians behave, and it is one thing for a newborns behavior, however when adults act like this it is seriously unattractive, and I am sure the Lord is not pleased with us at this point.

Persevere, continue communicating with the Lord. Keep asking, seeking, and knocking but don't let it end there. Sit quietly with Him and listen for his voice. when praying let it be a conversation. Don't let it be a laundry, or shopping list, we are talking to our Precious Lord, and Savior. Take time with him, if your prayers aren't answered, or not according to your liking don't get downhearted, trust, pay attention, be mature, keep waiting. Don't give up on him, he knows what is best for our life, and he is going to work out the details, we have to listen for and to his voice. Don't give up, don't get angry, don't forget about his promises....

The Lord's silence is not forever. In His perfect time, the answer will come. And if you faithfully and patiently wait for Him, you'll discover that your relationship with Him has grown through the experience. You will have learned to sit with Him through silence, not relying on His activity to encourage you, but simply delighting in His presence. Remember we are here for him.You will come to peace, joy, and a true relationship filled with trust, love for the Precious Savior who gave so much for each of us, and deserves so much back.

VICTORY THRU GRACE

Conquering now and still to conquer, rideth a King in His might;

Leading the host of all the faithful into the midst of the fight;

See them with courage advancing, clad in their brilliant array,

Shouting the Name of their Leader, hear them exultingly say:

Not to the strong is the battle, not to the swift is the race,

Yet to the true and the faithful vict’ry is promised through grace.

Conquering now and still to conquer, who is this wonderful King?

Whence are the armies which He leadeth, while of His glory they sing?

He is our Lord and Redeemer, Savior and Monarch divine;

They are the stars that forever bright in His kingdom shall shine.

Conquering now and still to conquer, Jesus, Thou Ruler of all,

Thrones and their scepters all shall perish, crowns and their splendor shall fall,

Yet shall the armies Thou leadest, faithful and true to the last,

Find in Thy mansions eternal rest, when their warfare is past.

TRUSTING JESUS

Simply trusting every day,

Trusting through a stormy way;

Even when my faith is small,

Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Trusting as the moments fly,

Trusting as the days go by;

Trusting Him whate’er befall,

Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Brightly does His Spirit shine

Into this poor heart of mine;

While He leads I cannot fall;

Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Trusting as the moments fly,

Trusting as the days go by;

Trusting Him whate’er befall,

Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Singing if my way is clear,

Praying if the path be drear;

If in danger for Him call;

Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Trusting as the moments fly,

Trusting as the days go by;

Trusting Him whate’er befall,

Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Trusting Him while life shall last,

Trusting Him till earth be past;

Till within the jasper wall,

Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Trusting as the moments fly,

Trusting as the days go by;

Trusting Him whate’er befall,

Trusting Jesus, that is all.

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! Ruth

Ruth's Life Is That Picture Of Someone Getting Back Up After Being Knocked Down By Tragedies Of Life; We see in the beginning in the Book of Ruth how Ruth and Naomi got to be, Ruth was from the country of Moab, and married one of Naomi's sons. After the death of Naomi's husband and son's, Naomi had told her daughter-in-laws go back to your Mother's home, don't follow me. One daughter-in-law left went back Orpah left, Ruth however loved Naomi wanted to stay with her, and had no intentions of leaving her. Ruth wanted to go with Naomi back to Bethlehem.

You remember right away when you read this story the significance of Naomi’s home town. Bethlehem was the small town where the Savior, Jesus Himself, would be born! This story then is not just about the redemption of one Moabite woman named Ruth.We can see ourselves in this story. We can see ourself being redeemed, and starting over even when it is so painful, and when everybit of energy is gone.

Somewhere underneath the surface of this story there’s a motivation for Ruth staying with her

mother-in-law and I think this may be the first clue. Keep in mind Ruth was from a totally

different place. Surely her mother-in-law must have treated her like she was her own daughter,

which does say alot for Naomi she must have been loving, kind, caring. There must have been

quite a bond of love between them for Ruth to go back with Naomi to a land she didn’t know

anything about. I just don’t think it’s hard to see that, between people who truly love each

other, committments, bonds, are made. Ruth truly madea commitment! Look at verses 16 and

17 of chapter one: "And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from

following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will

lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: Where thou diest, will I

die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more

also, if ought but death part thee and me".

In our world we are told "Put Number 1 first" "think about yourself nobody else will". What horrible unbiblical advice. It’s amazing how many people are ok with doing that, even putting self over the Lord and their children. What would cause someone to make a commitment like that? I don’t think you can make a commitment like that thinking only about yourself. I think true godly commitments are made when we’re also thinking about the welfare and needs of others.That’s why I believe Ruth was motivated to go with Naomi. She knew Naomi had lost so much that she was not thinking of herself. Ruths concern was not of herself.

Most likely Naomi had told Ruth about her God and the Hebrew teaching that this life was not all there is. In some way Ruth surely must have been able to sense something was different about the God the Hebrews worshipped. The heathen deities of Moab weren’t doing Ruth any good so she took a chance on finding out more about Jehovah. But it was a risk based on what she had learned and experienced so far. Being involved with her husband’s family and hearing them talk about their God must have moved her heart. She had to know more. Remember the Lord tells us when we show the light to others, when we are living for him people notice. Ruth being in this family (if they had been living for the Lord) had to notice many wonderful differences in Our Lord over her "religion".

Her sister-in-law was different. She went back to her old gods. Perhaps this was because she was afraid to change. Resistance to change holds a lot of people back in life, especially in the area of true spirituality. Some folks would rather stay with what they know, even if in their heart and mind they know it’s wrong. It’s safer for them that way. No risk involved. Often times when I am witnessing some peopleinvolved in "RELIGION" don't want to hear me read a Psalm, they have said oh my Priest tells me it is not for us to read. How sad is that?

Always remember it is not a Religion, it is a RELATIONSHIP!!!!!

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Luke 8:18 Take heed therefore how ye hear: for whosoever hath, to him shall be given; and whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken even that which he seemeth to have.

Luke 8:19 Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press.

Luke 8:20 And it was told him by certain which said, Thy mother and thy brethren stand without, desiring to see thee.

Luke 8:21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word of God, and do it.

John 6:44 No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

John 6:45 It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me.

John 6:46 Not that any man hath seen the Father, save he which is of God, he hath seen the Father.

John 6:47 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me hath everlasting life.

John 6:48 I am that bread of life.

Ruth 1:1 Now it came to pass in the days when the judges ruled, that there was a famine in the land. And a certain man of Bethlehemjudah went to sojourn in the country of Moab, he, and his wife, and his two sons.

Ruth 1:2 And the name of the man was Elimelech, and the name of his wife Naomi, and the name of his two sons Mahlon and Chilion, Ephrathites of Bethlehemjudah. And they came into the country of Moab, and continued there.

Ruth 1:3 And Elimelech Naomi's husband died; and she was left, and her two sons.

Ruth 1:4 And they took them wives of the women of Moab; the name of the one was Orpah, and the name of the other Ruth: and they dwelled there about ten years.

Ruth 1:5 And Mahlon and Chilion died also both of them; and the woman was left of her two sons and her husband.

Ruth 1:6 Then she arose with her daughters in law, that she might return from the country of Moab: for she had heard in the country of Moab how that the LORD had visited his people in giving them bread.

Ruth 1:7 Wherefore she went forth out of the place where she was, and her two daughters in law with her; and they went on the way to return unto the land of Judah.

Ruth 1:8 And Naomi said unto her two daughters in law, Go, return each to her mother's house: the LORD deal kindly with you, as ye have dealt with the dead, and with me.

Ruth 1:9 The LORD grant you that ye may find rest, each of you in the house of her husband. Then she kissed them; and they lifted up their voice, and wept.

Ruth 1:10 And they said unto her, Surely we will return with thee unto thy people.

Ruth 1:11 And Naomi said, Turn again, my daughters: why will ye go with me? are there yet any more sons in my womb, that they may be your husbands?

Ruth 1:12 Turn again, my daughters, go your way; for I am too old to have an husband. If I should say, I have hope, if I should have an husband also to night, and should also bear sons;

Ruth 1:13 Would ye tarry for them till they were grown? would ye stay for them from having husbands? nay, my daughters; for it grieveth me much for your sakes that the hand of the LORD is gone out against me.

Ruth 1:14 And they lifted up their voice, and wept again: and Orpah kissed her mother in law; but Ruth clave unto her.

Ruth 1:15 And she said, Behold, thy sister in law is gone back unto her people, and unto her gods: return thou after thy sister in law.

Ruth 1:16 And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God:

Ruth 1:17 Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.

Ruth 1:18 When she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, then she left speaking unto her.

Ruth 1:19 So they two went until they came to Bethlehem. And it came to pass, when they were come to Bethlehem, that all the city was moved about them, and they said, Is this Naomi?

Ruth 1:20 And she said unto them, Call me not Naomi, call me Mara: for the Almighty hath dealt very bitterly with me.

Ruth 1:21 I went out full, and the LORD hath brought me home again empty: why then call ye me Naomi, seeing the LORD hath testified against me, and the Almighty hath afflicted me?

Ruth 1:22 So Naomi returned, and Ruth the Moabitess, her daughter in law, with her, which returned out of the country of Moab: and they came to Bethlehem in the beginning of barley harvest.

TAKE MY LIFE AND LET IT BE

Take my life, and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee.

Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise.

Take my hands, and let them move at the impulse of Thy love.

Take my feet, and let them be swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take my voice, and let me sing always, only, for my King.

Take my lips, and let them be filled with messages from Thee.

Take my silver and my gold; not a mite would I withhold.

Take my intellect, and use every power as Thou shalt choose.

Take my will, and make it Thine; it shall be no longer mine.

Take my heart, it is Thine own; it shall be Thy royal throne.

Take my love, my Lord, I pour at Thy feet its treasure store.

Take myself, and I will be ever, only, all for Thee.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY

To God be the glory, great things he has done;

so loved he the world that he gave us his Son,

who yielded his life an atonement for sin,

and opened the lifegate that we may go in.

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord; let the earth hear his voice!

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord; let the people rejoice!

O come to the Father through Jesus the Son,

and give him the glory; great things he has done.

O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,

to every believer the promise of God;

the vilest offender who truly believes,

that moment from Jesus a pardon receives.

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord; let the earth hear his voice!

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord; let the people rejoice!

O come to the Father through Jesus the Son,

and give him the glory; great things he has done.

Great things he has taught us, great things he has done,

and great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;

but purer and higher and greater will be

our wonder, our gladness, when Jesus we see.

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord; let the earth hear his voice!

Praise the Lord, praise the Lord; let the people rejoice!

O come to the Father through Jesus the Son,

and give him the glory; great things he has done.

Good Morning!!! Have A Blessed Day!!! A Promise And A Prayer!!!!

A PRECIOUS PROMISE

Galations 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Galations 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

"For by grace our ye saved", and once we are saved we need to be sowing to the Spirit not the flesh. Lets put our heart and mind on the things of eternal. I understand we need to do things for this life, pay bills, family responsibilities etc.....However our main focus needs to be pleasing the Lord...reaching the lost...fellowship with the brethren...sowing to the Spirit. Let us not grow weary in well doing, let us not decide after a time "ok now it is time for me to sit back, and let the younger people take over", we are never too old, too young to serve the Lord, to sow to the Spirit. I have heard of many who served the Lord right up until they went home to Heaven. These verses are promises from the Lord "we shall reap if we shall continue sowing". Our Precious Lord is far better to us than we deserve!!!!

A PRECIOUS PRAYER

Luke 23:34 Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

Luke 23:46 And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

When we are feeling sorry for ourselves, or feel as if the Lord has forgotten us look upon these two verses. If we the children of God, of the Lord of lords. the King of kings, the Mighty God can ask forgiveness for these people who have just beaten him, spit upon him, mocked him, crucified him, pulled his beard from his face, died for their sins if he can forgive them while bleeding, suffering, dying on the cross. Why is it we his children do we question so much of his precious promises, love, salvation unto us his children? Why is it we can give up on this Precious Lord and follow the crowd so fast and leave him sometimes just over a prayer taking "to long being answered", our child going the wrong way, our friend betraying us. Remember when bad things happen we live in a sin-cursed world, the Lord never promised no trials, no tribulations here. Don't blame our Lord blame SIN, Blame this wicked world not the Lord........

COME LORD JESUS!!!!!

Thank you All for your Prayers!!!

GLORY TO HIS NAME

Down at the cross where my Savior died,

Down where for cleansing from sin I cried,

There to my heart was the blood applied;

Glory to His Name!

Glory to His Name, glory to His Name:

There to my heart was the blood applied;

Glory to His Name!

I am so wondrously saved from sin,

Jesus so sweetly abides within;

There at the cross where He took me in;

Glory to His Name!

Glory to His Name, glory to His Name:

There to my heart was the blood applied;

Glory to His Name!

Oh, precious fountain that saves from sin,

I am so glad I have entered in;

There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean;

Glory to His Name!

Glory to His Name, glory to His Name:

There to my heart was the blood applied;

Glory to His Name!

Come to this fountain so rich and sweet,

Cast thy poor soul at the Savior’s feet;

Plunge in today, and be made complete;

Glory to His Name!

Glory to His Name, glory to His Name:

There to my heart was the blood applied;

Glory to His Name!

I AM HIS AND HE IS MINE

Loved with everlasting love, led by grace that love to know;

Gracious Spirit from above, Thou hast taught me it is so!

O this full and perfect peace! O this transport all divine!

In a love which cannot cease, I am His, and He is mine.

In a love which cannot cease, I am His, and He is mine.

Heav’n above is softer blue, Earth around is sweeter green!

Something lives in every hue Christless eyes have never seen;

Birds with gladder songs o’erflow, flowers with deeper beauties shine,

Since I know, as now I know, I am His, and He is mine.

Since I know, as now I know, I am His, and He is mine.

Things that once were wild alarms cannot now disturb my rest;

Closed in everlasting arms, pillowed on the loving breast.

O to lie forever here, doubt and care and self resign,

While He whispers in my ear, I am His, and He is mine.

While He whispers in my ear, I am His, and He is mine.

His forever, only His; Who the Lord and me shall part?

Ah, with what a rest of bliss Christ can fill the loving heart!

Heav’n and earth may fade and flee, firstborn light in gloom decline;

But while God and I shall be, I am His, and He is mine.

But while God and I shall be, I am His, and He is mine.

PROMISE AND PRAYER

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Weekend!!! A Promise & A Prayer

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

Romans 8:26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered.

Romans 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

This is another one of the promises that I love to remind people of when they say the Lord is so mean, or unfair. Not only does he allow us to come before his Holy Throne, wants us sinners saved by grace, still in this flesh, to come before his Holy Throne, but has it worked out so the Holy Spirit helps us pray.

To go over just a few things the perfect, holy, spotless Lord, came here died, paying our sin-debt IN FULL, we owe NOTHING, allows our voice to be heard through pray for what our concerns, wants, desires; and gives us such wonderful things to enjoy. Now maybe someone can tell me why people think he is unfair, mean, expects so much?

Today lets take just a few minutes take a honest look, at our lives what do we have to be thankful for. We can include flowers, trees, air we breathe. Now thank him because it is only through him we have the blessings we have.

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

Acts 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.

Acts 7:60 And he kneeled down, and cried with a loud voice, Lord, lay not this sin to their charge. And when he had said this, he fell asleep.

This prayer from Stephen unto the Father asking him to forgive the men stoning him is an amazing forgiveness verse. I can't even imagine laying there the pain and looking up and asking the Lord to forgive them. I would love to have this kind of forgiving Spirit, I would want to do this, however put in this position I am not sure what I would do. I am sure the Lord was well pleased with him.

CROWN HIM WITH MANY CROWNS

Crown Him with many crowns, the Lamb upon His throne.

Hark! How the heavenly anthem drowns all music but its own.

Awake, my soul, and sing of Him who died for thee,

And hail Him as thy matchless King through all eternity.

Crown Him the virgin’s Son, the God incarnate born,

Whose arm those crimson trophies won which now His brow adorn;

Fruit of the mystic rose, as of that rose the stem;

The root whence mercy ever flows, the Babe of Bethlehem.

Crown Him the Son of God, before the worlds began,

And ye who tread where He hath trod, crown Him the Son of Man;

Who every grief hath known that wrings the human breast,

And takes and bears them for His own, that all in Him may rest.

Crown Him the Lord of life, who triumphed over the grave,

And rose victorious in the strife for those He came to save.

His glories now we sing, who died, and rose on high,

Who died eternal life to bring, and lives that death may die.

Crown Him the Lord of peace, whose power a scepter sways

From pole to pole, that wars may cease, and all be prayer and praise.

His reign shall know no end, and round His piercèd feet

Fair flowers of paradise extend their fragrance ever sweet.

Crown Him the Lord of love, behold His hands and side,

Those wounds, yet visible above, in beauty glorified.

No angel in the sky can fully bear that sight,

But downward bends his burning eye at mysteries so bright.

Crown Him the Lord of Heaven, enthroned in worlds above,

Crown Him the King to Whom is given the wondrous name of Love.

Crown Him with many crowns, as thrones before Him fall;

Crown Him, ye kings, with many crowns, for He is King of all.

Crown Him the Lord of lords, who over all doth reign,

Who once on earth, the incarnate Word, for ransomed sinners slain,

Now lives in realms of light, where saints with angels sing

Their songs before Him day and night, their God, Redeemer, King.

Crown Him the Lord of years, the Potentate of time,

Creator of the rolling spheres, ineffably sublime.

All hail, Redeemer, hail! For Thou has died for me;

Thy praise and glory shall not fail throughout eternity.

ONE DAY

One day when Heaven was filled with His praises,

One day when sin was as black as could be,

Jesus came forth to be born of a virgin,

Dwelt among men, my Example is He!

Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me;

Buried, He carried my sins far away;

Rising, He justified freely forever;

One day He’s coming—O glorious day!

One day they led Him up Calvary’s mountain,

One day they nailed Him to die on the tree;

Suffering anguish, despised and rejected:

Bearing our sins, my Redeemer is He!

Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me;

Buried, He carried my sins far away;

Rising, He justified freely forever;

One day He’s coming—O glorious day!

One day they left Him alone in the garden,

One day He rested, from suffering free;

Angels came down o’er His tomb to keep vigil;

Hope of the hopeless, my Savior is He!

Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me;

Buried, He carried my sins far away;

Rising, He justified freely forever;

One day He’s coming—O glorious day!

One day the grave could conceal Him no longer,

One day the stone rolled away from the door;

Then He arose, over death He had conquered;

Now is ascended, my Lord evermore!

Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me;

Buried, He carried my sins far away;

Rising, He justified freely forever;

One day He’s coming—O glorious day!

One day the trumpet will sound for His coming,

One day the skies with His glories will shine;

Wonderful day, my belovèd ones bringing;

Glorious Savior, this Jesus is mine!

Living, He loved me; dying, He saved me;

Buried, He carried my sins far away;

Rising, He justified freely forever;

One day He’s coming—O glorious day!

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful And A Blessed Day!!! Love

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. It is surely significant that Paul when writin the fruits of the spirits lists love as the first of the fruits of the spirits. Galations 5:22 "love, joy, peace, long-suffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance", scripture puts much empasis on loving our Lord, and our neighbor. The Lord does not put anything in his word to take up space, to give us extra to do, to be redundant. All he has put in his word he has put there for us to follow, to obey, to keep our life running as it ought.

When a young person enters the army, he is trained and schooled in the hardships of military life. He holds none of his strength in reserve. He gives all. Our spiritual Commander, Jesus Christ, calls today for those who will bring all their powers into subjection and serve without reservation in the army of the Lord. There has never been a time in history when the cause of righteousness needed consecrated people more than it does today. Let us completely give ourselves unto the Lord, do as he wills for our lives.

Some things in the word of God are options unto us as people, and we can decide what to follow, and what not. The word tells us how men and women should dress, act, live. In John 3:16 "for whosoever believeth in him should not perish" he does not say "YOU BETTER BELIEVE" and he could. However if we chose not to believe, the consequence is eternity in hell. Some are commands. Love is a command, it is not a choice it is not "Love me, and your neighbor if you feel like it" It is Love the Lord thy God, And Your Neighbor". We do need to remember all the Lord tells us it is not because he wants us to not have fun, be bored but he knows what can happen if we are left alone in this flesh to our wicked devices.

AS A DAUGHTER OF THE KING OF THE SAVIOR WHO CAME HERE PAYING THE SIN DEBT IN FULL FOR ALL US SINNERS. IT IS UPSETTING TO HEAR WHAT AN AWFUL UNCARING LORD WHO SENDS PEOPLE TO HELL. HE SENDS NO ONE TO HELL. IT IS A CHOICE PEOPLE HAVE MADE ON THEIR OWN BY REJECTING JESUS CHRIST HE WILL MAKE NO ONE ACCEPT HIM. IF SOMEONE DOES NOT WANT HIM HE WILL NOT MAKE THEM TRUST HIM. PEOPLE WILLING TAKE THEMSELVES TO HELL, PRECIOUS JESUS TAKES NOBODY THERE.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Matthew 22:37 Jesus said unto him, Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.

Galations 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Galations 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Acts 20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.

Psalm 29:1 A Psalm of David. Give unto the LORD, O ye mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.

Psalm 29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.

Psalm 29:3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thundereth: the LORD is upon many waters.

Psalm 29:4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

John 13:33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

John 14:14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

John 14:15 If ye love me, keep my commandments.

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

John 15:13 Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

1Peter 4:7 But the end of all things is at hand: be ye therefore sober, and watch unto prayer.

1Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.

1Peter 4:9 Use hospitality one to another without grudging.

I LOVE GOD BECAUSE

My God, I love Thee; not because

I hope for Heav’n thereby,

Nor yet because who love Thee not

May eternally die.

Thou, O my Jesus, Thou didst me

Upon the cross embrace;

For me didst bear the nails and spear,

And manifold disgrace.

And griefs and torments numberless,

And sweat of agony;

E’en death itself; and all for man

Who was Thine enemy.

Then why, O blessèd Jesus Christ

Should I not love Thee well?

Not for the hope of winning Heaven,

Nor of escaping hell.

Not with the hope of gaining aught,

Nor seeking a reward,

But as Thyself hast lovèd me,

O everlasting Lord!

E’en so I love Thee, and will love,

And in Thy praise will sing,

Solely because Thou art my God,

And my eternal King.

THE LOVE OF GOD IS GREATER FAR

The love of God is greater far

Than tongue or pen can ever tell.

It goes beyond the highest star

And reaches to the lowest hell.

The guilty pair, bowed down with care,

God gave His Son to win;

His erring child He reconciled

And pardoned from his sin.

O love of God, how rich and pure!

How measureless and strong!

It shall forevermore endure—

The saints’ and angels’ song.

When hoary time shall pass away,

And earthly thrones and kingdoms fall;

When men who here refuse to pray,

On rocks and hills and mountains call;

God’s love, so sure, shall still endure,

All measureless and strong;

Redeeming grace to Adam’s race—

The saints’ and angels’ song.

Could we with ink the ocean fill,

And were the skies of parchment made;

Were every stalk on earth a quill,

And every man a scribe by trade;

To write the love of God above

Would drain the ocean dry;

Nor could the scroll contain the whole,

Though stretched from sky to sky.

A Good Name

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful And Blessed Day!!! A Good Name

The Days Of A Good Name Being Of Great Importance; In God's word Proverbs 22:1, we are told "a good name is rather to be chosen than great riches", in some areas the world stands on this but not as we did. I remember as a little girl my parents, grandparents talk of different families, they would mention last names, and associate character traits with them. Such as "yes the Smiths on the corner you can trust them with your finest possessions". Going to school a teacher would recognize a last name and ask "are you related to Mike Jones", oh your his brother, just to warn you I will not let you cause problems in here either".

I believe the day of standards has left us, but at one time this was so important to the family, the head of home. If you got in trouble and took down the family name it was a shame. People depended on the family name as they did with their handshake. The family name would be associated with, trustworthiness, reliability, hardworking, honesty. Often times your name is what got you a job. In the days before contracts, going to court, people shook hands, people would enter into a oral contract by shaking hands and again your name is what made the decision on if people were willing to trust that handshake.

We keep a good name by remembering who we are. As followers of Jesus we need to work at keeping a good name. When people know we are Christians that we love Jesus and they hear our name what are their comments? The last few days I watched some You Tube videos on different "Christians" Different Churches (Westboro Pickets Made me angry not just the vulgarness the false teachings from the women running the place). When the world looks upon these things they lump all this together and say "ALL YOU PEOPLE". It is so important that the world see true "Christians" true followers, people with the truth and not just grabbing a verse here and there to fit their agenda.

Take time think about what people say when your name is mentioned. Do people smile and say "that is someone I can trust and they do love the Lord", "I have prayer needs and they will pray". Or is the opposite true ""Please Lord I don't need them now on top of everything else" "She is going to say I will pray and in two weeks I will say thanks for the prayers and it will be oh I forgot you did ask me to pray". Allow your name to become one that when the world, and the Brethren, hear they smile, they think that is a true follower of Christ, a trusted child of the Everlasting Father, of the Mighty God, of Jesus Christ Our Lord.

SOMETIMES WE MAY ONLY GET ONE CHANCE TO BE A WITNESS ONE CHANCE TO BE A LIGHT FOR OUR LORD. LET EACH TIME WE TALK TO SOMEONE BE A BLESSING TO THEM, A LIGHT. LET THAT MINUTE SHOW JESUS, THEY SEE THE WORLD EVERYDAY!!!!

Proverbs 22:1 A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.

Proverbs 22:8 He that soweth iniquity shall reap vanity: and the rod of his anger shall fail.

Proverbs 22:9 He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.

Proverbs 22:10 Cast out the scorner, and contention shall go out; yea, strife and reproach shall cease.

Proverbs 22:11 He that loveth pureness of heart, for the grace of his lips the king shall be his friend.

Proverbs 16:1 The preparations of the heart in man, and the answer of the tongue, is from the LORD.

Proverbs 16:2 All the ways of a man are clean in his own eyes; but the LORD weigheth the spirits.

Proverbs 16:3 Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.

Proverbs 16:4 The LORD hath made all things for himself: yea, even the wicked for the day of evil.

Proverbs 16:5 Every one that is proud in heart is an abomination to the LORD: though hand join in hand, he shall not be unpunished.

Proverbs 16:6 By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.

Proverbs 16:7 When a man's ways please the LORD, he maketh even his enemies to be at peace with him.

Proverbs 16:8 Better is a little with righteousness than great revenues without right.

Proverbs 21:1 The king's heart is in the hand of the LORD, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

Proverbs 21:2 Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the LORD pondereth the hearts.

Proverbs 21:3 To do justice and judgment is more acceptable to the LORD than sacrifice.

Proverbs 21:4 An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

Proverbs 3:1 My son, forget not my law; but let thine heart keep my commandments:

Proverbs 3:2 For length of days, and long life, and peace, shall they add to thee.

Proverbs 3:3 Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart:

Proverbs 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Acts 10:42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.

Acts 10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.

Acts 10:44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.

Cheryl

FILL ALL MY VISION

Fill all my vision, Savior, I pray,

Let me see only Jesus today;

Though through the valley Thou leadest me,

Thy fadeless glory encompasseth me.

Fill all my vision, Savior divine,

Till with Thy glory my spirit shall shine.

Fill all my vision, that all may see

Thy Holy Image reflected in me.

Fill all my vision, every desire

Keep for Thy glory; my soul inspire

With Thy perfection, Thy holy love,

Flooding my pathway with light from above.

Fill all my vision, let naught of sin

Shadow the brightness shining within.

Let me see only Thy blessed face,

Feasting my soul on Thy infinite grace.

LOVE DIVINE

Love divine, all loves excelling,

Joy of heaven to earth come down;

Fix in us thy humble dwelling;

All thy faithful mercies crown!

Jesus, Thou art all compassion,

Pure unbounded love Thou art;

Visit us with Thy salvation;

Enter every trembling heart.

Breathe, O breathe Thy loving Spirit,

Into every troubled breast!

Let us all in Thee inherit;

Let us find that second rest.

Take away our bent to sinning;

Alpha and Omega be;

End of faith, as its Beginning,

Set our hearts at liberty.

Come, Almighty to deliver,

Let us all Thy life receive;

Suddenly return and never,

Never more Thy temples leave.

Thee we would be always blessing,

Serve Thee as Thy hosts above,

Pray and praise Thee without ceasing,

Glory in Thy perfect love.

Finish, then, Thy new creation;

Pure and spotless let us be.

Let us see Thy great salvation

Perfectly restored in Thee;

Changed from glory into glory,

Till in heaven we take our place,

Till we cast our crowns before Thee,

Lost in wonder, love, and praise.

THY WORD HAVE I HID IN MY HEART

Thy Word is a lamp to my feet,

A light to my path alway,

To guide and to save me from sin,

And show me the heav’nly way.

Thy Word have I hid in my heart,

That I might not sin against Thee;

That I might not sin, that I might not sin,

Thy Word have I hid in my heart.

Forever, O Lord, is Thy Word

Established and fixed on high;

Thy faithfulness unto all men

Abideth forever nigh.

Thy Word have I hid in my heart,

That I might not sin against Thee;

That I might not sin, that I might not sin,

Thy Word have I hid in my heart.

At morning, at noon, and at night

I ever will give Thee praise;

For Thou art my portion, O Lord,

And shall be through all my days!

Thy Word have I hid in my heart,

That I might not sin against Thee;

That I might not sin, that I might not sin,

Thy Word have I hid in my heart.

Thro’ Him Whom Thy Word hath foretold,

The Savior and Morning Star,

Salvation and peace have been brought

To those who have strayed afar.

Thy Word have I hid in my heart,

That I might not sin against Thee;

That I might not sin, that I might not sin,

Thy Word have I hid in my heart.

Promise and Prayer

Posted by Cheryl on March 16, 2015 at 7:20 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful And A Blessed Week!!! A Promise And A Prayer

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Psalm 18:3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Isaiah 41:13 For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.

Our Lord tells us over and over be not afraid. He even tells us it is wrong to be afraid and not trust him to get us through, to doubt him. I believe what we do is we learn these verses, we hear these verses; however we know from self, and others broken promises are not a big deal. Well our Precious Lord is not as us. When he gives his word it is given, it is true, it is unmoveable. He is all perfect, complete righteousness, unable to sin. See to lie, break a promise, go back on our word these are all wrong, but we get so used to it we really do not think of them as wrong.

When you give your word, do you keep it, can people depend on you?

Well remember our Precious Lord does keep his word, if your anxious, worried, fearful, put it in his hands, unlike me, you, others he really will get us through. That fearful situation is not bigger than the Mighty God, the Creator of all, The Savior who Died, Buried carrying our sins into the pits of hell for all, and rose again from the dead. That scary problem will not out smart him!!!!

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

Exo 33:12 And Moses said unto the LORD, See, thou sayest unto me, Bring up this people: and thou hast not let me know whom thou wilt send with me. Yet thou hast said, I know thee by name, and thou hast also found grace in my sight.

Exo 33:13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.

Exo 33:14 And he said, My presence shall go with thee, and I will give thee rest.

Exo 33:15 And he said unto him, If thy presence go not with me, carry us not up hence.

Exo 33:16 For wherein shall it be known here that I and thy people have found grace in thy sight? is it not in that thou goest with us? so shall we be separated, I and thy people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.

Exo 33:17 And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that thou hast spoken: for thou hast found grace in my sight, and I know thee by name.

Exo 33:18 And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory.

Exo 33:19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.

Here is an example of Moses asking for The LORD to be with him as he goes with Israel to Canaan, it gives Moses strength, comfort, grace. The LORD tells Moses "you have found grace in thy sight". The LORD is very pleased with Moses. See even though the Lord knows all our needs, our desires, he still wants us to come before him ask, be thankful, and show much love unto him. He could "MAKE" us talk, ask, say thank you, but he wants us to speak from our hearts, to want to come unto him in our very own words. We don't want our children, spouses, church family to come give us a hug, ask how we are, say I Love You because someone in charge made them do it. That would be so sad. It would be MEANINGLESS!!!!

THERE'S COMING A DAY

There is coming a day,

When no heart aches shall come,

No more clouds in the sky,

No more tears to dim the eye,

All is peace forever more,

On that happy golden shore,

What a day, glorious day that will be.

What a day that will be,

When my Jesus I shall see,

And I look upon His face,

The One who saved me by His grace;

When He takes me by the hand,

And leads me through the Promised Land,

What a day, glorious day that will be.

There'll be no sorrow there,

No more burdens to bear,

No more sickness, no pain,

No more parting over there;

And forever I will be,

With the One who died for me,

What a day, glorious day that will be.

What a day that will be,

When my Jesus I shall see,

And I look upon His face,

The One who saved me by His grace;

When He takes me by the hand,

And leads me through the Promised Land,

What a day, glorious day that will be

NEARER MY GOD TO THEE

Nearer, my God, to Thee, nearer to Thee!

E’en though it be a cross that raiseth me,

Still all my song shall be, nearer, my God, to Thee.

Nearer, my God, to Thee,

Nearer to Thee!

Though like the wanderer, the sun gone down,

Darkness be over me, my rest a stone.

Yet in my dreams I’d be nearer, my God to Thee.

Nearer, my God, to Thee,

Nearer to Thee!

There let the way appear, steps unto Heav’n;

All that Thou sendest me, in mercy given;

Angels to beckon me nearer, my God, to Thee.

Nearer, my God, to Thee,

Nearer to Thee!

Then, with my waking thoughts bright with Thy praise,

Out of my stony griefs Bethel I’ll raise;

So by my woes to be nearer, my God, to Thee.

Nearer, my God, to Thee,

Nearer to Thee!

Or, if on joyful wing cleaving the sky,

Sun, moon, and stars forgot, upward I’ll fly,

Still all my song shall be, nearer, my God, to Thee.

Nearer, my God, to Thee,

Nearer to Thee!

There in my Father’s home, safe and at rest,

There in my Savior’s love, perfectly blest;

Age after age to be, nearer my God to Thee.

Nearer, my God, to Thee,

Nearer to Thee!
