Affliction

Good Morning~~~Have A Wonderful Day~~~Affliction

Would The Lord Allow Sickness To Get Our Attention: We never enjoy illness or affliction. Would anything good come from illness? Is it possible our Heavenly Father allow illness, affliction to come unto us? Some may think I am wrong however yes he will allow sickness at times to get our attention when we are not listening, when we need to be somewhere other than where we are, or to refocus our heart, eyes, priorities, on to him. I am not saying everytime we are sick it is because the Lord is punishing us, or is getting our attention, or is sending us on a new mission, I am not saying that in no way.

A good example of this is in Acts with the apostle Paul. When we read about him, we will remember the Christ-minded missionary who spread the gospel during the first century. However this wasn't always the case. When we are first introduced to him, he is known as Saul, Christianity's most vicious enemy. So how did the LORD get Saul's attention?

The Acts account teaches us that the Lord appeared in a brilliant flash of light that only Saul could see. After revealing Himself, Jesus left Saul completely blind. This enemy of the church was now brought low, having to be led into town by hand, completely at the mercy of others.

As Paul realized during his time of blindness when the Lord got his full attention during his time of blindness(the Lord knows what it will take for each of us); Paul who had been Saul an evil hater of Christians became a man who loved Jesus Christ, man of faith, lover of doing right after his short time of blindness when the Lord got his attention.

Our Heavenly Fathers primary goal is taking care of us in the light of eternity, not as parents of today who will hand a spoiled child all he wants to keep him quiet so Mom and Dad can have a peaceful life of their own. —He wants what is best for us in light of eternity. At times this means He'll lay us flat on our backs for a season. If you experience such hardship, do pray for healing, but also pray for His message to you in your sickness.

Our Lesson: During this time remember others who are hurting, we can always see others who hurt much more than us. We lose focus of others hurting more than we do. When we are laying flat and not able to move, go anyway, and feel "I can't do anything" stop feeling sorry and PRAY lots to pray about Brothers, and Sisters, and if you can't go anywhere; LOTS OF TIME TO PRAY and Prayer has become a forgotten GIFT!!!!

Acts 9:1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,

Acts 9:2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.

Acts 9:3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:

Acts 9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?

Acts 9:5 And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.

Acts 9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.

Acts 9:7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.

Acts 9:8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.

Acts 9:9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.

Acts 9:10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.

Acts 9:11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,

Acts 9:12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.

Acts 9:13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:

Acts 9:14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.

Acts 9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:

Acts 9:16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.

Acts 9:17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou camest, hath sent me, that thou mightest receive thy sight, and be filled with the Holy Ghost.

Acts 9:18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.

Acts 9:19 And when he had received meat, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.

Acts 9:20 And straightway he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.

Acts 9:21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came hither for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?

Ecclesiastes 3:1 To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven:

Ecclesiastes 3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted;

Ecclesiastes 3:3 A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up;

Ecclesiastes 3:4 A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance;

Ecclesiastes 3:5 A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing;

Ecclesiastes 3:6 A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away;

Ecclesiastes 3:7 A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak;

Ecclesiastes 3:8 A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace.

Ecclesiastes 3:9 What profit hath he that worketh in that wherein he laboureth?

Ecclesiastes 3:10 I have seen the travail, which God hath given to the sons of men to be exercised in it.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end.

PRAISE YE LORD

O praise ye the Lord! praise Him in the height;

Rejoice in His Word, ye angels of light;

Ye heavens, adore Him by Whom ye were made,

And worship before Him in brightness arrayed.

O praise ye the Lord! Praise Him upon earth,

In tuneful accord, ye sons of new birth;

Praise Him Who hath brought you His grace from above,

Praise Him Who hath taught you to sing of His love.

O praise ye the Lord! All things that give sound;

Each jubilant chord re-echo around;

Loud organs, His glory forth tell in deep tone,

And sweet harp, the story of what He hath done.

O praise ye the Lord! Thanksgiving and song

To Him be outpoured all ages along!

For love in creation, for Heaven restored,

For grace of salvation, O praise ye the Lord!

O praise ye the Lord and sing a new song,

Amid all His saints His praises prolong;

The praise of their Maker His people shall sing,

And children of Zion rejoice in their King.

With timbrel and harp and joyful acclaim,

With gladness and mirth, sing praise to His Name,

For God in His people His pleasure doth seek,

With robes of salvation He clotheth the meek.

In glory exult, ye saints of the Lord;

With songs in the night, high praises accord;

Go forth in His service, be strong in His might,

To conquer all evil and stand for the right.

For this is His Word: His saints shall not fail,

But over the earth their power shall prevail;

All kingdoms and nations shall yield to their sway.

To God give the glory and praise Him for aye.

FAIREST LORD JESUS

Fairest Lord Jesus, Ruler of all nature,

O Thou of God and man the Son,

Thee will I cherish, Thee will I honor,

Thou, my soul’s glory, joy and crown.

Fair are the meadows, fairer still the woodlands,

Robed in the blooming garb of spring;

Jesus is fairer, Jesus is purer,

Who makes the woeful heart to sing.

Fair is the sunshine,

Fairer still the moonlight,

And all the twinkling starry host;

Jesus shines brighter, Jesus shines purer

Than all the angels heaven can boast.

All fairest beauty, heavenly and earthly,

Wondrously, Jesus, is found in Thee;

None can be nearer, fairer or dearer,

Than Thou, my Savior, art to me.

Beautiful Savior! Lord of all the nations!

Son of God and Son of Man!

Glory and honor, praise, adoration,

Now and forever more be Thine.

We Need To Forgive

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!! Forgiveness

The Lord Tells Us It Is Imperative To Forgive; In our minds to forgive is allowing someone to be set free of the wrong they did. However who are we to determine who can be forgiven and who can't? The Lord tells us to forgive everyone as he forgives us. To avoid offering forgiveness, we rehearse the wrong suffered until our desire for retaliation and pain seems totally justified. Convinced of our right to be angry, we demand repayment, thinking, and releasing a person from deserved punishment is unfair! In the light of all the Lord has forgiven us does this sound right at all?

When we accepted the Lord's forgiveness, we gave up all rights to hold anything against anyone else. An unforgiving heart is miserable because it is far from God, who is the source of all peace and joy. You are claiming your holier than the Lord you have more right than the Lord to hold on to unforgiveness. How are you going to explain that to the Lord? Oh right we won't be explaining our faults when we stand before him.

Our Lesson: Does the thought or sight of someone bring about harsh feelings within you? Holding onto a grievance will keep you imprisoned in emotional turmoil, but letting go will set you free. Christ has provided the key of forgiveness. Take hold of it, unlock the prison door, and walk out into the light.Is that hurt, unforgiving spirit more important than the walk with the Lord?

Matthew 18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how oft shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

Matthew 18:22 Jesus saith unto him, I say not unto thee, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

Matthew 18:23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account of his servants.

Matthew 18:24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

Matthew 18:25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

Matthew 18:26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

Matthew 18:27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

Matthew 18:28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellowservants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that thou owest.

Matthew 18:29 And his fellowservant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay thee all.

Matthew 18:30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

Matthew 18:31 So when his fellowservants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

Matthew 18:32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O thou wicked servant, I forgave thee all that debt, because thou desiredst me:

Matthew 18:33 Shouldest not thou also have had compassion on thy fellowservant, even as I had pity on thee?

Matthew 18:34 And his lord was wroth, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

Matthew 18:35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if ye from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

Matthew 6:14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

Matthew 6:15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

Colossians 3:12 Put on therefore, as the elect of God, holy and beloved, bowels of mercies, kindness, humbleness of mind, meekness, longsuffering;

Colossians 3:13 Forbearing one another, and forgiving one another, if any man have a quarrel against any: even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye.

Colossians 3:14 And above all these things put on charity, which is the bond of perfectness.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Ephesians 4:31 Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:

Ephesians 4:32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.

BLEST BE THE TIE

Blest be the tie that binds

Our hearts in Christian love;

The fellowship of kindred minds

Is like to that above.

Before our Father’s throne

We pour our ardent prayers;

Our fears, our hopes, our aims are one

Our comforts and our cares.

We share each other’s woes,

Our mutual burdens bear;

And often for each other flows

The sympathizing tear.

When we asunder part,

It gives us inward pain;

But we shall still be joined in heart,

And hope to meet again.

This glorious hope revives

Our courage by the way;

While each in expectation lives,

And longs to see the day.

From sorrow, toil and pain,

And sin, we shall be free,

And perfect love and friendship reign

Through all eternity.

WHEN LOVE SHINES IN

Jesus comes with power to gladden, when love shines in,

Every life that woe can sadden, when love shines in.

Love will teach us how to pray, love will drive the gloom away,

Turn our darkness into day, when love shines in.

When love shines in, when love shines in,

How the heart is tuned to singing, when love shines in,

When love shines in, when love shines in,

Joy and peace to others bringing, when love shines in.

How the world will grow with beauty, when love shines in,

And the heart rejoice in duty, when love shines in.

Trials may be sanctified, and the soul in peace abide,

Life will all be glorified, when love shines in.

When love shines in, when love shines in,

How the heart is tuned to singing, when love shines in,

When love shines in, when love shines in,

Joy and peace to others bringing, when love shines in.

Darkest sorrow will grow brighter, when love shines in,

And the heaviest burden lighter, when love shines in.

’Tis the glory that will throw light to show us where to go;

O, the heart shall blessing know, when love shines in.

When love shines in, when love shines in,

How the heart is tuned to singing, when love shines in,

When love shines in, when love shines in,

Joy and peace to others bringing, when love shines in.

We may have unfading splendor, when love shines in,

And a friendship true and tender, when love shines in.

When earth’s vict’ries shall be won, and our life in Heav’n begun,

There will be no need of sun, when love shines in.

When love shines in, when love shines in,

How the heart is tuned to singing, when love shines in,

When love shines in, when love shines in,

Joy and peace to others bringing, when love shines in.

The Word of God

Good Morning~~~Have A Blessed Tuesday~~~The KJV Bible

The Magnitude Of Importance Of The KJV Bible; People will say it doesn't matter which version I use. Yes it certainly does matter. From Genesis to Revelation the word is filled with our Lord's words, plans, his creation. the Holy Spirit over saw this work while being written, not man, not a certain church, not "Religious Leaders" his word was to be perfect, reliable, reliable, and without error. The KJV Bible contain the Lord's complete revelation of his character, kingdom, and the way and only way of eternity into heaven. He tells us of the fall of man, he tells us of his great love for us, his willingness to give his only begotten son to die on the cross for our the atonement of our sins (the only way to heaven).

All sections of the word are extremely important and interconnected. For example, the gospels tell about redemption, while the Old Testament contains prophecies about the Messiah who would come to save us. In John he proclaims that Jesus is the Lamb of God, who would take away our sins; Leviticus and Numbers help us understand this concept through descriptions of the sacrificial system. The first book of the Bible teaches us that Abraham's faith was credited to him as righteousness. And in the New Testament, we learn that everyone's salvation is by faith alone, and not through works. Then in Revelation he tells us of the end of time and how it will be, and how he will call the born-again, his children up into the sky to meet him. Then the world will not have the Holy Spirit, us Christians here any longer, and all will be controlled by Satan, by the Anti-Christ (and we think its bad now). After a Time Jesus who had came as a baby, a lamb to die on the cross for the sins of the world, will return as a lion; all will be burned up and destroyed and Satan and all his followers will be thrown into Hell. He will put in this awful sin-cursed baby killing, child killing, murdering hating world a Perfect kingdom, no sin, no hate, no more murder, perfect world. PRAISE THE LORD.

Why do I say the KJV? Well the new versions are more like perversions they leave out very important verses, these new writers were not told by the Lord to write a new Bible. Now in the last few years they have even written politically correct ones; like the queen james bilbe its for the gay world talk about blasphemy(i purposely wrote no capitals). I will give some examples.

The New International Version deletes over 64,000 words including words like: Godhead, regeneration, mercyseat, Calvary, remission, Jehovah, immutable, omnipotent, Comforter, Holy Ghost, Messiah, quickened, infallible, et cetera. Most of the modern Bibles line up very closely with the NIV--and so does the New World Translation--the Bible of the Jehovah's Witnesses cult!

When you read below where I say that a verse is COMPLETELY deleted, I mean clean/bald-headed/gone/vanished deleted. For instance, if you search for Acts 8:37 in the NIV you will read,

36As they traveled along the road, they came to some water and the eunuch said, "Look, here is water. Why shouldn't I be baptized?"

38And he ordered the chariot to stop. Then both Philip and the eunuch went down into the water and Philip baptized him.

Verse 37 is CLEAN, BALD-HEADED, GONE, VANISHED, MY FRIENDS (and it is a powerful verse)! Some foolish people have written me saying, "But it says something in the footnotes." I have three responses.

(1) When you are reading your Bible do you look at the footnotes after every verse? Do you say "I am reading verse 3 so let me look below and see if something in verse 3 is missing."? Even if you did do that (which you don't) the footnotes say that the "best manuscripts" don't have the verse--will you then agree with them that the verse doesn't belong? If not, then why are you reading an NIV?

(2) Not all the word deletions are found in the footnotes of the NIV so don't think for a second that they are letting you know all the changes they made.

(3) The next logical step will be for the NIV to omit the footnotes and just reorder everything. In the example above verse 38 would become verse 37 so it wouldn't look funny. Look at the J.B. Phillips translation--that heretick didn't number the individual verses so you don't know what you're missing. It's paragraph style. The NIV may go that way too. They are desensitizing you to the

The NKJV

Galatians 3:16

Now to Abraham and his Seed were the promises made. He does not say, "And to seeds," as of many, but as of one, "And to your Seed," who is Christ.

Genesis 22:17

Blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply your descendants as the stars of the heaven and as the sand which is on the seashore; and your descendants shall possess the gate of their enemies. Galatians 3:16

Now to Abraham and his seed were the promises made. He saith not, And to seeds, as of many; but as of one, And to thy seed, which is Christ.

Genesis 22:17

That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies;

Paul taught that not all Israelites from Egypt died in the wilderness, due to the exceptions of Joshua and Caleb. The NKJV denies Old Testament history that they entered Canaan and charges them instead with rebellion! And they call this a KJV Bible! Hebrews 3:16

For who, having heard, rebelled? Indeed, was it not all who came out of Egypt, led by Moses?

Hebrews 3:16

For some, when they had heard, did provoke: howbeit not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

Pharaoh Necho of Egypt fought against Assyria during the days of Josiah. King Josiah was killed in a battle at Megiddo, when he went against Pharaoh unadvisedly. But the NKJV changes the history to make Pharaoh Necho an ally of Assyria in one place to deny the inspired history and to contradict itself in another place. If the account in Kings is true in the NKJV, then what of Chronicles in the NKJV? How many lies can a Bible have and still be called God’s word? The NKJV is a mess! II Kings 23:29

In his days Pharaoh Necho king of Egypt went to the aid of the king of Assyria, to the River Euphrates; and King Josiah went against him. And Pharaoh Necho killed him at Megiddo when he confronted him.

American Standard

Matthew 16:20 KJV "Then charged He his disciples that they should tell no man that He was Jesus the Christ." NASB "Then He warned the disciples that they should tell no one that He was the Christ." NASB leaves out "Jesus," as it does in numerous verses.

Matthew 20:20 KJV "Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him. ." NASB "Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to Him with her sons, bowing down, and making a request of Him." NASB again changes "worshipping" to "kneeling down."

Matthew 25:13 KJV "Watch therefore, for ye know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man cometh." NASB ""Be on the alert then, for you do not know the day nor the hour." NASB leaves out "wherein the Son of man cometh."

Mark 1:14 KJV "Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God." NASB "And after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God," NASB leaves out 'of the kingdom'. It isn't the gospel of God, but of the kingdom of God.

Mark 5:6 KJV "But when he saw Jesus afar off, he ran and worshipped him," NASB "And seeing Jesus from a distance, he ran up and bowed down before Him;" NASB changes "worshipped" to "fell on his knees."

Mark 9:24 KJV "And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief." NASB "Immediately the boy's father cried out and began saying, "I do believe; help my unbelief."" NASB leaves out the reference to Jesus as "Lord."

Mark 11:10 KJV "Blessed be the kingdom of our father David, that cometh in the name of the Lord: Hosanna in the highest." NASB "Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David; Hosanna in the highest!"" NASB changes it to: "Blessed is the coming kingdom of our father David; hosanna in the highest." This is saying that His Kingdom hasn't come. Jesus is already sitting on the throne, at the right hand of the Father.

Luke 4:8 KJV "And Jesus said unto him, Get thee behind me, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord they God, and him only shalt thou serve." NASB "And Jesus answered and said to him, "It is written, 'YOU SHALL WORSHIP THE LORD YOUR GOD AND SERVE HIM ONLY.'"" NASB leaves out "Get thee behind me Satan."

Luke 4:41 KJV "And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, Thou art Christ the Son of God ..." NASB "And demons also were coming out of many, crying out and saying, "You are the Son of God!" And rebuking them, He would not allow them to speak, because they knew Him to be the Christ." NASB leaves out the reference to Jesus by the devils that He was "Christ."

Luke 7:31 KJV "And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?" NASB ""To what then shall I compare the men of this generation, and what are they like?" NASB leaves out "And the Lord said."

Luke 11:2 KJV "And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth." NASB "And He said to them, "When you pray, say: 'Father, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come." He isn't "Our Father" but just Father, and He isn't in Heaven, because that tells you something of who He is and points to Him as the Heavenly Father, so both references to heaven are removed. He must be here on earth. The reason for this is that the New Agers and Catholics believe in the "universal fatherhood" of God. My Father or Our Father becomes "The Father." This can be seen in some of the verses below; John 10:30,32; 14:28, etc. He is Father to all, and with it is the "Brotherhood of man." Then what happened to His will! Most today want to do their own, and justify it, and say that is the way it is supposed to be, but not so. We are to say "If the Lord will. . ."

God gave us the Bible so we might know Him personally, be adopted into His family, and bring glory to His name. Make it your goal to become more familiar with the most important book ever written. How are we to know him, how to believe, how to follow if we allow people are deciding what should be left in his word. Oh yes one more thing there is a little verse in Revelation that says:

Revelation 22:17 And the Spirit and the bride say, Come. And let him that heareth say, Come. And let him that is athirst come. And whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely.

Revelation 22:18 For I testify unto every man that heareth the words of the prophecy of this book, If any man shall add unto these things, God shall add unto him the plagues that are written in this book:

Revelation 22:19 And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.

2Timothy 3:16 All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness:

2Timothy 3:17 That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

THY WORD IS LAMP UNTO MY FEET

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet

and a light unto my path.

When I feel afraid, think I've lost my way,

still you're there right beside me,

and nothing will I fear as Iong as you are near.

Please be near me to the end.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet

and a light unto my path.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet

and a light unto my path.

I will not forget your love for me,

and yet my heart forever is wandering.

Jesus, be my guide and hold me to your side,

and I will love you to the end.

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet

and a light unto my path.

HOW FIRM A FOUNDATION

How firm a foundation, ye saints of the Lord,

Is laid for your faith in His excellent Word!

What more can He say than to you He hath said,

You, who unto Jesus for refuge have fled?

In every condition, in sickness, in health;

In poverty’s vale, or abounding in wealth;

At home and abroad, on the land, on the sea,

As thy days may demand, shall thy strength ever be.

Fear not, I am with thee, O be not dismayed,

For I am thy God and will still give thee aid;

I’ll strengthen and help thee, and cause thee to stand

Upheld by My righteous, omnipotent hand.

When through the deep waters I call thee to go,

The rivers of woe shall not thee overflow;

For I will be with thee, thy troubles to bless,

And sanctify to thee thy deepest distress.

When through fiery trials thy pathways shall lie,

My grace, all sufficient, shall be thy supply;

The flame shall not hurt thee; I only design

Thy dross to consume, and thy gold to refine.

Even down to old age all My people shall prove

My sovereign, eternal, unchangeable love;

And when hoary hairs shall their temples adorn,

Like lambs they shall still in My bosom be borne.

The soul that on Jesus has leaned for repose,

I will not, I will not desert to its foes;

That soul, though all hell should endeavor to shake,

I’ll never, no never, no never forsake.

THE BIBLE STANDS

The Bible stands like a rock undaunted

’Mid the raging storms of time;

Its pages burn with the truth eternal,

And they glow with a light sublime.

The Bible stands though the hills may tumble,

It will firmly stand when the earth shall crumble;

I will plant my feet on its firm foundation,

For the Bible stands.

The Bible stands like a mountain towering

Far above the works of men;

Its truth by none ever was refuted,

And destroy it they never can.

The Bible stands though the hills may tumble,

It will firmly stand when the earth shall crumble;

I will plant my feet on its firm foundation,

For the Bible stands.

The Bible stands and it will forever,

When the world has passed away;

By inspiration it has been given,

All its precepts I will obey.

The Bible stands though the hills may tumble,

It will firmly stand when the earth shall crumble;

I will plant my feet on its firm foundation,

For the Bible stands.

The Bible stands every test we give it,

For its Author is divine;

By grace alone I expect to live it,

And to prove and to make it mine.

The Bible stands though the hills may tumble,

It will firmly stand when the earth shall crumble;

I will plant my feet on its firm foundation,

For the Bible stands.

Faith and Works

Posted by Cheryl on October 27, 2014 at 8:35 PM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Faithful Monday!!! Faith...

Faith Is A Imperative Part Of The Christians Life: We are saved by faith, we are not saved by works, by being good, being nice. We can't please our Lord without faith, the word tells us it is impossible to please him. We are to walk by faith daily, the word tells us anything we do apart from faith is sin. In the book of James we see James discussing one type of faith called "dead faith" this type of faith knows the words but does nothing. They can quote scripture, know what is right but have nothing to give back. Which means they are still saved but when they stand before the Lord will have nothing to put before the feet of Jesus. This dead faith is very sad why would someone not want to live for the Lord to give something back.

Then there are the people that you witness to and say "I believe in God" in James 2:19 we see the devils believe in God and tremble. Therefore for someone to "believe in God" doesn't give them a ticket to heaven we can't walk away thinking great they are born-again. That faith means nothing it is the same as the devils faith. I have people say they believe in god also believe in evolution and believe everyone is going to heaven, they are not believeing in my Mighty God.

To have true faith in the Lord, the True and Mighty God, the Reedeemer, Jesus Christ who willingly came here to this sin-curse world to die on the cross for our sins. He carried the sins of the world he who knew no sin carried them into the pits of hell for us. The faith we need is to trust him daily, to put our whole life in his hands, and leave it there. To live for him daily, to stand up for him, and not worry about what this world will do to us. Our God is bigger than anybody, anything, and nothing can happen to us his children that he doesn't allow. Start today Ask the Lord what you can do to please him, ask for help if need be to change and please him daily. WE ARE HERE FOR HIM, HE ISN'T HERE FOR US!!!! WHO DO WE WANT TO PLEASE THE ENEMY OR OUR BELOVED SAVIOR? THIS LIFE IN THE LIGHT OF ETERNITY IS NOTHING USE IT FOR THE LORD AND TO WIN THE LOST AND FAMILY!!!!!

Matthew 8:26 And he saith unto them, Why are ye fearful, O ye of little faith? Then he arose, and rebuked the winds and the sea; and there was a great calm.

Matthew 8:27 But the men marvelled, saying, What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!

Matthew 8:28 And when he was come to the other side into the country of the Gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

Matthew 8:29 And, behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Jesus, thou Son of God? art thou come hither to torment us before the time?

Matthew 8:30 And there was a good way off from them an herd of many swine feeding.

Matthew 8:31 So the devils besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, suffer us to go away into the herd of swine.

Matthew 8:32 And he said unto them, Go. And when they were come out, they went into the herd of swine: and, behold, the whole herd of swine ran violently down a steep place into the sea, and perished in the waters.

Romans 14:20 For meat destroy not the work of God. All things indeed are pure; but it is evil for that man who eateth with offence.

Romans 14:21 It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor any thing whereby thy brother stumbleth, or is offended, or is made weak.

Romans 14:22 Hast thou faith? have it to thyself before God. Happy is he that condemneth not himself in that thing which he alloweth.

Romans 14:23 And he that doubteth is damned if he eat, because he eateth not of faith: for whatsoever is not of faith is sin.

1John 5:11 And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.

1John 5:12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.

1John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.

1John 5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

Mark 3:10 For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him for to touch him, as many as had plagues.

Mark 3:11 And unclean spirits, when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, Thou art the Son of God.

Mark 3:12 And he straitly charged them that they should not make him known.

Mark 3:13 And he goeth up into a mountain, and calleth unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.

Mark 3:14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,

2Corinthians 5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

2Corinthians 5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

2Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

2Corinthians 5:9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

2Corinthians 5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he hath done, whether it be good or bad.

Romans 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Love,

Cheryl

MY FAITH LOOKS UP TO THEE

My faith looks up to Thee,

Thou Lamb of Calvary, Savior divine!

Now hear me while I pray, take all my guilt away,

O let me from this day be wholly Thine!

May Thy rich grace impart

Strength to my fainting heart, my zeal inspire!

As Thou hast died for me, O may my love to Thee,

Pure warm, and changeless be, a living fire!

While life’s dark maze I tread,

And griefs around me spread, be Thou my Guide;

Bid darkness turn to day, wipe sorrow’s tears away,

Nor let me ever stray from Thee aside.

When ends life’s transient dream,

When death’s cold sullen stream over me roll;

Blest Savior, then in love, fear and distrust remove;

O bear me safe above, a ransomed soul!

DARE TO BE A DANIEL

Standing by a purpose true,

Heeding God’s command,

Honor them, the faithful few!

All hail to Daniel’s band!

Dare to be a Daniel,

Dare to stand alone!

Dare to have a purpose firm!

Dare to make it known.

Many mighty men are lost

Daring not to stand,

Who for God had been a host

By joining Daniel’s band.

Dare to be a Daniel,

Dare to stand alone!

Dare to have a purpose firm!

Dare to make it known.

Many giants, great and tall,

Stalking through the land,

Headlong to the earth would fall,

If met by Daniel’s band.

Dare to be a Daniel,

Dare to stand alone!

Dare to have a purpose firm!

Dare to make it known.

Hold the Gospel banner high!

On to vict’ry grand!

Satan and his hosts defy,

And shout for Daniel’s band.

Dare to be a Daniel,

Dare to stand alone!

Dare to have a purpose firm!

Dare to make it known.

PROMISE & PRAYER

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Sunday With The Son!!! A Promise & Prayer...

A PRECIOUS PROMISE

Psalm 55:22 Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

Isaiah 41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.

Some will complain and say "The Lord was not with me during my trial" I have to ask were you trusting him? I have been quilty of this in my walk. We get so worked up over something, and we waver in our faith and start to look toward the world for comfort and then the destruction comes in. The enemy loves when we look in the wrong places for comfort, and we have to stop doing that very thing. When our Lord makes a promise he keeps it. Keep in mind The Lord has permanet help and answers, the world is always temporal help, answers, comfort, pleasure.

A PRECIOUS PRAYER

2Kings 20:1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Set thine house in order; for thou shalt die, and not live.

2Kings 20:2 Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto the LORD, saying,

2Kings 20:3 I beseech thee, O LORD, remember now how I have walked before thee in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in thy sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.

2Kings 20:4 And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of the LORD came to him, saying,

2Kings 20:5 Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of my people, Thus saith the LORD, the God of David thy father, I have heard thy prayer, I have seen thy tears: behold, I will heal thee: on the third day thou shalt go up unto the house of the LORD.

2Kings 20:6 And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver thee and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for mine own sake, and for my servant David's sake.

Here in 2Kings Hezekiah is praying for a longer life. The Lord blessed him with an extra fifteen years due to Hezekiah's faith. I love that in his word he has put strong, men with great faith to teach us how to be, how to serve, and also what not to to and what not to be. Why is it that we struggle daily and yet we have such a wonderful book to learn by with such strong examples?

IT IS GLORY JUST TO WALK WITH HIM

It is glory just to walk with Him whose blood has ransomed me;

It is rapture for my soul each day.

It is joy divine to feel Him near where’er my path may be.

Bless the Lord, it’s glory all the way!

It is glory just to walk with Him,

It is glory just to walk with Him,

He will guide my steps aright

Through the vale and o’er the height,

It is glory just to walk with Him.

It is glory when the shadows fall to know that He is near.

O what joy to simply trust and pray!

It is glory to abide in Him when skies above are clear.

Yes, with Him, it’s glory all the way!

It is glory just to walk with Him,

It is glory just to walk with Him,

He will guide my steps aright

Through the vale and o’er the height,

It is glory just to walk with Him.

’Twill be glory when I walk with Him on Heaven’s golden shore,

Never from His side again to stray.

’Twill be glory, wondrous glory with the Savior evermore,

Everlasting glory all the way!

It is glory just to walk with Him,

It is glory just to walk with Him,

He will guide my steps aright

Through the vale and o’er the height,

It is glory just to walk with Him.

STILL SWEETER EVERY DAY

To Jesus every day I find my heart is closer drawn,

He’s fairer than the glory of the gold and purple dawn;

He’s all my fancy pictures in its fairest dreams, and more,

Each day He grows still sweeter than He was the day before.

The half cannot be fancied

This side the golden shore;

O there He’ll be still sweeter

Than He ever was before.

His glory broke upon me when I saw Him from afar,

He’s fairer than the lily, brighter than the morning star;

He fills and satisfies my longing spirit o’er and o’er,

Each day He grows still sweeter than He was the day before.

The half cannot be fancied

This side the golden shore;

O there He’ll be still sweeter

Than He ever was before.

My heart is sometimes heavy,

but He comes with sweet relief,

He folds me to His bosom

when I droop with blighting grief;

I love the Christ Who all

my burdens in His body bore,

Each day He grows still sweeter

than He was the day before.

The half cannot be fancied

This side the golden shore;

O there He’ll be still sweeter

Than He ever was before.

The Holy Spirit

Good Morning~~~Have A Wonderful Thursday~~~The Holy Spirit...

Gratefully The Holy Spirit Empowers Us To Live Contrary to The World: When we have truly become a child of the MIGHTY GOD, OUR HEAVENLY FATHER; the Holy Spirit , The Comforter comes to live inside of us. Once this happens we are able to to have or find the strength to say no to this rotten, sinful flesh. In our own strength it is difficult to say no to the flesh, say no to the world. To live according to His word, His will it takes His divine power and the Holy Spirit helps us with that. We need to develop faith, humility, trust, and perseverance. A promise the Lord gives us, if we are tempted by something he gives us a way out; we have to be willing to follow that way. I look at myself, and there were a few times in the past when I sinned and honestly the Lord did have an escape plan I chose to ignore it and went with the sin.

The proud anger the Lord who think, " I got this Lord don't need you", He does give strength to the ones who know they can't do it without the strength of the Lord. Often-times he will ask us to remain in an uncomfortable situation or take on a task that seems far beyond our capability, but remember he knows what we can do far better than we know. When we feel too weak to resist temptation or too fearful to move forward with the Lord's plan, we must persevere in prayer. That will draw us closer to Him, build our faith, and invite Him to work His will in and through us. Then, as we praise our Heavenly Father for His almighty nature, proclaim His sufficiency for every circumstance, and declare His greatness, the Holy Spirit will help us move past our weaknesses and fears to a place of strength.

In this last days (as the Bible tells us) the body of Christ is falling away quickly, and experiencing a lack of spiritual power. Believers have a diminishing influence on our culture as our lives often reflect the world's values. I have seen and heard where "Christians" have even told other Christians "you need to stop Street Preaching your being offensive" "you need to stop preaching about hell it scares people" "Why do you leave tracts and hand them out nobody reads them anyway" Christians we need to step up in this last days get out of the world, we are told not to be of this world, and sadly so many "Christians" fit right in, maybe they need to ask themselves "Am I truly Saved" if I am why am I not serving the Lord?

Our Lesson: We Need To Remind Ourself Daily "Christ Died For Us;" What Can I Do For Him Today? We Didn't Die For HIm. This Life Is Not About (Name Here: Cheryl)!!!!!!

Luke 24:24 And certain of them which were with us went to the sepulchre, and found it even so as the women had said: but him they saw not.

Luke 24:25 Then he said unto them, O fools, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken:

Luke 24:26 Ought not Christ to have suffered these things, and to enter into his glory?

Luke 24:27 And beginning at Moses and all the prophets, he expounded unto them in all the scriptures the things concerning himself.

Luke 24:28 And they drew nigh unto the village, whither they went: and he made as though he would have gone further.

Luke 24:29 But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us: for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.

Luke 24:30 And it came to pass, as he sat at meat with them, he took bread, and blessed it, and brake, and gave to them.

Luke 24:31 And their eyes were opened, and they knew him; and he vanished out of their sight.

Luke 24:32 And they said one to another, Did not our heart burn within us, while he talked with us by the way, and while he opened to us the scriptures?

Luke 24:33 And they rose up the same hour, and returned to Jerusalem, and found the eleven gathered together, and them that were with them,

Luke 24:34 Saying, The Lord is risen indeed, and hath appeared to Simon.

Luke 24:35 And they told what things were done in the way, and how he was known of them in breaking of bread.

Luke 24:36 And as they thus spake, Jesus himself stood in the midst of them, and saith unto them, Peace be unto you.

Luke 24:37 But they were terrified and affrighted, and supposed that they had seen a spirit.

Luke 24:38 And he said unto them, Why are ye troubled? and why do thoughts arise in your hearts?

Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Luke 24:40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.

Luke 24:41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?

Luke 24:42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.

Luke 24:43 And he took it, and did eat before them.

Luke 24:44 And he said unto them, These are the words which I spake unto you, while I was yet with you, that all things must be fulfilled, which were written in the law of Moses, and in the prophets, and in the psalms, concerning me.

Luke 24:45 Then opened he their understanding, that they might understand the scriptures,

Luke 24:46 And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:

Luke 24:47 And that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning at Jerusalem.

Luke 24:48 And ye are witnesses of these things.

Luke 24:49 And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high.

Luke 24:50 And he led them out as far as to Bethany, and he lifted up his hands, and blessed them.

Luke 24:51 And it came to pass, while he blessed them, he was parted from them, and carried up into heaven.

Luke 24:52 And they worshipped him, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy:

Luke 24:53 And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen.

James 4:5 Do ye think that the scripture saith in vain, The spirit that dwelleth in us lusteth to envy?

James 4:6 But he giveth more grace. Wherefore he saith, God resisteth the proud, but giveth grace unto the humble.

James 4:7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

James 4:8 Draw nigh to God, and he will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.

James 4:9 Be afflicted, and mourn, and weep: let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to heaviness.

James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Mark 13:11 But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost.

Psalm 18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.

Psalm 18:3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.

Philippians 4:9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Philippians 4:10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

Philippians 4:11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

Philippians 4:12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Cheryl

IN THE HOUR OF TRIAL

In the hour of trial, Jesus, plead for me,

Lest by base denial I depart from Thee.

When Thou seest me waver, with a look recall,

Nor for fear or favor suffer me to fall.

With forbidden pleasures would this vain world charm,

Or its sordid treasures spread to work me harm,

Bring to my remembrance sad Gethsemane,

Or, in darker semblance, cross-crowned Calvary.

Should Thy mercy send me sorrow, toil and woe,

Or should pain attend me on my path below,

Grant that I may never fail Thy hand to see;

Grant that I may ever cast my care on Thee.

When my last hour cometh, fraught with strife and pain,

When my dust returneth to the dust again,

On Thy truth relying, through that mortal strife,

Jesus, take me, dying, to eternal life.

WE PRAISE THEE O GOD

We praise Thee, O God!

For the Son of Thy love,

For Jesus Who died,

And is now gone above.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.

Hallelujah! Amen.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.

Revive us again.

We praise Thee, O God!

For Thy Spirit of light,

Who hath shown us our Savior,

And scattered our night.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.

Hallelujah! Amen.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.

Revive us again.

All glory and praise

To the Lamb that was slain,

Who hath borne all our sins,

And hath cleansed every stain.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.

Hallelujah! Amen.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.

Revive us again.

All glory and praise

To the God of all grace,

Who hast brought us, and sought us,

And guided our ways.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.

Hallelujah! Amen.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.

Revive us again.

Revive us again;

Fill each heart with Thy love;

May each soul be rekindled

With fire from above.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.

Hallelujah! Amen.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.

Revive us again.

GRATEFULNESS

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Wednesday!!! Thankful...

Gratefulness Is So Important In All Things: Some will say "Oh I Really Don't Like To Pray" this is our communication with our Heavenly Father. This is not just a privilege, and honour but the Lord wants us to pray daily. The other important part of prayer is THANKSGIVING in all things. This is much easier in the good, happy things. However in the trials, sad things it can be tough. When we face trials, tough times we need to be thankful WHY??? We grow, the Lord can be glorified through these things.

A Year ago in September my Grandson who was seven at the time had a major stroke. The Doctor did not have much hope for this little boy my precious first grandbaby, as I sat in the hospital while he was in surgery, I asked the Lord; "How am I suppose to be thankful?" I Prayed and asked the Lord and it wasn't easy and said Lord please help me to be thankful and please let someone maybe even this Doctor come to salvation through this. Now I don't know if anyone got saved through this, and Matthew other than some residuals from this stroke is far better than anyone had thought he ever would have been, but again even these life and death situations we need to thank our Lord, and ask for his will to be done.

Our Lesson: Our Heavenly Father knows how a thankful attitude can affect our worship, our heart, our lives. In the Scriptures, the Lord mandates our gratitude In other words, thankfulness to the Lord should permeate everything we do. Which some people find perplexing. But He knows how a grateful attitude affects our hearts. Thanking Him pleases him and does some great things in us:

• Keeps us conscience of Him in our daily life.

• Focuses us on Jesus Christ; pride isn't as much a problem when we are reminded life is about him not "ME"

• Makes us to look what can the Lord do in this trial or sad time, trial.

• Keeps our Heart, mind, eyes focused on his Majesty, Goodness in every thing Nothing is too big, small, great, difficult for our Father.

• Encourages continued dependence on Him. Which pleases him!!!

• Replaces anxiety with peace and joy.

When we keep an attitude of thanksgiving, and gratefulness in both happy and difficult times our lives will feel purposeful and fulfilling. But more importantly,the Lord will be glorified. Remember thats why we are here to glorify Him , and not us. We are here for Him not he is here for us.

Colossians 2:6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in him:

Colossians 2:7 Rooted and built up in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.

Colossians 2:8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.

Philippians 1:1 Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

Philippians 1:2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Philippians 1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

Philippians 4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Psalm 95:1 O come, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

Psalm 95:2 Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms.

Psalm 95:3 For the LORD is a great God, and a great King above all gods.

Psalm 95:4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

Psalm 95:5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

Psalm 95:6 O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the LORD our maker.

Psalm 95:7 For he is our God; and we are the people of his pasture, and the sheep of his hand. To day if ye will hear his voice,

1Corinthians 15:55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

1Corinthians 15:56 The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.

1Corinthians 15:57 But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

1Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.

Colossians 3:15 And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to the which also ye are called in one body; and be ye thankful.

Colossians 3:16 Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.

Colossians 3:17 And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

Romans 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind.

Romans 14:6 He that regardeth the day, regardeth it unto the Lord; and he that regardeth not the day, to the Lord he doth not regard it. He that eateth, eateth to the Lord, for he giveth God thanks; and he that eateth not, to the Lord he eateth not, and giveth God thanks.

1Thessalonians 5:16 Rejoice evermore.

1Thessalonians 5:17 Pray without ceasing.

1Thessalonians 5:18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

Love,

Cheryl

BLESSED BE THE NAME

All praise to Him Who reigns above

In majesty supreme,

Who gave His Son for man to die,

That He might man redeem!

Exalted more and more,

At God the Father’s own right hand,

Where angel hosts adore.

Blessèd be the Name! Blessèd be the Name!

Blessèd be the Name of the Lord!

Blessèd be the Name! Blessèd be the Name!

Blessèd be the Name of the Lord!

Redeemer, Savior, Friend of man

Once ruined by the fall,

Thou hast devised salvation’s plan,

For Thou hast died for all.

Blessèd be the Name! Blessèd be the Name!

Blessèd be the Name of the Lord!

Blessèd be the Name! Blessèd be the Name!

Blessèd be the Name of the Lord!

WHEN ALL THY MERCIES, O MY GOD

When all Thy mercies, O my God,

My rising soul surveys,

Transported with the view, I’m lost

In wonder, love and praise.

Thy Providence my life sustained,

And all my wants redressed,

While in the silent womb I lay,

And hung upon the breast.

To all my weak complaints and cries

Thy mercy lent an ear,

Ere yet my feeble thoughts had learned

To form themselves in prayer.

Unnumbered comforts to my soul

Thy tender care bestowed,

Before my infant heart conceived

From Whom those comforts flowed.

When in the slippery paths of youth

With heedless steps I ran,

Thine arm unseen conveyed me safe,

And led me up to man.

Through hidden dangers, toils, and deaths,

It gently cleared my way;

And through the pleasing snares of vice,

More to be feared than they.

O how shall words with equal warmth

The gratitude declare,

That glows within my ravished heart?

But thou canst read it there.

Thy bounteous hand with worldly bliss

Hath made my cup run o’er;

And, in a kind and faithful Friend,

Hath doubled all my store.

Ten thousand thousand precious gifts

My daily thanks employ;

Nor is the last a cheerful heart

That tastes those gifts with joy.

When worn with sickness, oft hast Thou

With health renewed my face;

And, when in sins and sorrows sunk,

Revived my soul with grace.

Through every period of my life

Thy goodness I’ll pursue

And after death, in distant worlds,

The glorious theme renew.

When nature fails, and day and night

Divide Thy works no more,

My ever grateful heart, O Lord,

Thy mercy shall adore.

Through all eternity to Thee

A joyful song I’ll raise;

For, oh, eternity’s too short

To utter all Thy praise!

How Mighty Is Our God

Good Morning~~~Have A Good Day~~~Mighty God

What Is Bigger Than Our God; Our Mighty God can move mountains, he can calm the raging sea, he holds this world in the palm of his big hand. He speaks the great winds into calmness. He can close the lions mouths when he chooses too. He parted the Red Sea to allow the Israelites to cross and get away from the Roman Soldiers and Pharaoh.

He knows his childrens crys just as he put into mothers ears to recognize their own babies voices (which is such a terrific gift) he can recognize each of us his childrens voices. Our Heavenly Father is always able to hear our slightest whisper our voice even if spoken under our breath as a thought, he hears, and listens. The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite spirit." In your trouble, cry out to God — He's waiting for you.

Although Jesus was sleeping, I think the disciples were still unaware of his greatness regardless of awake, asleep, sitting, lying down. They evidently thought that "sleeping" meant that He was unaware of their present danger, or that He was unconcerned for their personal lives, or maybe He was unable to make the difference that they needed. He is aware and his greatness can do all things, and will always be there for his children. Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all. No matter how dark our life may seem, we must believe the truth that His inclination is bigger than our storm!

Let me ask you something: If the Great and Mighty Lord can control the wind and the waves, don't you think He can control your storm? If the Great and Mighty Lord can alter the very laws of nature, I believe He can help us with our problems, Don't you? There is no storm too big for our MIGHTY LORD to handle! Do you believe that? Even the wind recognized His authority and the storm was just a platform for Him to do His Will, Works. Do you suffer from something the Lord can't take care of? If so you may want to check yourself. There is nothing too big, too tough for our Lord. We Must Never Doubt The Lord!! That Is The Worlds Place!

Exodus 14:19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:

Exodus 14:20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

Exodus 14:21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

Exodus 14:22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

Exodus 14:23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

Exodus 14:24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

Jeremiah 33:2 Thus saith the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;

Jeremiah 33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.

Psalm 34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

Psalm 34:16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.

Psalm 34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

Psalm 34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.

Psalm 34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.

Luke 8:23 But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.

Luke 8:24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.

Luke 8:25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commandeth even the winds and water, and they obey him.

Romans 8:27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

IN THE HOUR OF OF TRIAL

In the hour of trial, Jesus, plead for me,

Lest by base denial I depart from Thee.

When Thou seest me waver, with a look recall,

Nor for fear or favor suffer me to fall.

With forbidden pleasures would this vain world charm,

Or its sordid treasures spread to work me harm,

Bring to my remembrance sad Gethsemane,

Or, in darker semblance, cross-crowned Calvary.

Should Thy mercy send me sorrow, toil and woe,

Or should pain attend me on my path below,

Grant that I may never fail Thy hand to see;

Grant that I may ever cast my care on Thee.

When my last hour cometh, fraught with strife and pain,

When my dust returneth to the dust again,

On Thy truth relying, through that mortal strife,

Jesus, take me, dying, to eternal life.

NEVER ALONE

I(veseen the lightning flashing,

And heard the thunder roll,

I’ve felt sin’s breakers dashing,

Trying to conquer my soul;

I’ve heard the voice of my Savior,

Telling me still to fight on,

He promised never to leave me,

Never to leave me alone.

No, never alone,

No, never alone,

He promised never to leave me,

Never to leave me alone.

The world’s fierce winds are blowing,

Temptation’s sharp and keen,

I have a peace in knowing

My Savior stands between—

He stands to shield me from danger,

When earthly friends are gone,

He promised never to leave me,

Never to leave me alone.

When in affliction’s valley

I’m treading the road of care,

My Savior helps me to carry

My cross when heavy to bear,

Though all around me is darkness,

Earthly joys all flown;

My Savior whispers His promise,

“I never will leave thee alone.”

No, never alone,

No, never alone,

He promised never to leave me,

Never to leave me alone.

He died for me on the mountain,

For me they pierced His side,

For me He opened the fountain,

The crimson, cleansing tide;

For me He’s waiting in glory,

Seated upon His throne,

He promised never to leave me,

Never to leave me alone.

No, never alone,

No, never alone,

He promised never to leave me,

Never to leave me alone.

Good Morning!!! Have A Meaningful Monday!!! God's Will

Are We Protecting Our Future For The Things Of Eternity? The Lord has a plan for each of our lives. The Lord tells us in his word how to live, he tells how not to live. He tells us to live for eternity not for life here on earth for things that will rust, burn up, die and go away. Most of us know of three men who gave up on God's plan for the flesh for a moment of pleasure.

Esau: Sold his future for a bowl of stew. His "blindness" to something truly valuable and gone in just a couple minutes caused him to lose his entire inheritance. This flesh can cause much difficulty and danger when we allow it to get out of control.

David: He was chosen by the Mighty God to lead a Whole Nation, and for many years he pursured the Lord's plan. Then came along A war, he stayed behind, and then he seen Bathseba taking a bath. His desire to please the Lord, and his desire for Bathseba were in conflict, and he picked Bathseba. He committed adultry, had her husband killed. The flesh won big time. However when he was confronted by Nathan he repented sincerely , but once we allow sin in there are consequences he and his family were deeply affected by the sin actions he chose.

Samson: He is another one who had a huge issue with the flesh like many of us do. He knew what the Lord required. Like us the Lord has given us his word we aren't in the dark and not told what's expected. Although he knew what he had to do, and not do-like David he gave up blessings for life-time, for some pleasures for a moment. He gave up trusting the LORD, and trusted a unworthy companion someone who didn't truly love him Delilah. Samson by picking the flesh lived in disgrace his last years.

Then there is pride which is what took Satan, and many others. He wanted the throne, he wanted to be God. Pride is a huge downfall for so many. How many have you handed a tract to they say "no I am good, never killed anyone" they are figuring on their goodness, and righteousness for heaven.

To avoid the kind of mistakes these men made, we need to be committed to setting aside our own desires in favor of God’s will. We must be willing to give up the desires of this sinful flesh and serve the Lord whole-heartedly. We can't give up on the Lord's plan for a season of pleasure. We can't try to please both the world, and the Lord it can't be done we will end up hating one or both, and usually we walk away from the Lord.

Our Lesson: Life here is over so quick, serve the Lord, he loves you, the world doesn't love anyone but itself, Satan loves no-one.

WHO WILL YOU SERVE? WHATS WORTH YOUR TESTIMONY? WHAT'S WORTH LIVING IN DISGRACE?

2Samuel 11:1 And it came to pass, after the year was expired, at the time when kings go forth to battle, that David sent Joab, and his servants with him, and all Israel; and they destroyed the children of Ammon, and besieged Rabbah. But David tarried still at Jerusalem.

2Samuel 11:2 And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king's house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon.

2Samuel 11:3 And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?

2Samuel 11:4 And David sent messengers, and took her; and she came in unto him, and he lay with her; for she was purified from her uncleanness: and she returned unto her house.

2Samuel 11:5 And the woman conceived, and sent and told David, and said, I am with child.

2Samuel 11:6 And David sent to Joab, saying, Send me Uriah the Hittite. And Joab sent Uriah to David.

2Samuel 11:7 And when Uriah was come unto him, David demanded of him how Joab did, and how the people did, and how the war prospered.

2Samuel 11:8 And David said to Uriah, Go down to thy house, and wash thy feet. And Uriah departed out of the king's house, and there followed him a mess of meat from the king.

2Samuel 11:9 But Uriah slept at the door of the king's house with all the servants of his lord, and went not down to his house.

2Samuel 11:10 And when they had told David, saying, Uriah went not down unto his house, David said unto Uriah, Camest thou not from thy journey? why then didst thou not go down unto thine house?

2Samuel 11:11 And Uriah said unto David, The ark, and Israel, and Judah, abide in tents; and my lord Joab, and the servants of my lord, are encamped in the open fields; shall I then go into mine house, to eat and to drink, and to lie with my wife? as thou livest, and as thy soul liveth, I will not do this thing.

2Samuel 11:12 And David said to Uriah, Tarry here to day also, and to morrow I will let thee depart. So Uriah abode in Jerusalem that day, and the morrow.

2Samuel 11:13 And when David had called him, he did eat and drink before him; and he made him drunk: and at even he went out to lie on his bed with the servants of his lord, but went not down to his house.

2Samuel 11:14 And it came to pass in the morning, that David wrote a letter to Joab, and sent it by the hand of Uriah.

2Samuel 11:15 And he wrote in the letter, saying, Set ye Uriah in the forefront of the hottest battle, and retire ye from him, that he may be smitten, and die.

2Samuel 11:16 And it came to pass, when Joab observed the city, that he assigned Uriah unto a place where he knew that valiant men were.

2Samuel 11:17 And the men of the city went out, and fought with Joab: and there fell some of the people of the servants of David; and Uriah the Hittite died also.

Judges 16:15 And she said unto him, How canst thou say, I love thee, when thine heart is not with me? thou hast mocked me these three times, and hast not told me wherein thy great strength lieth.

Judges 16:16 And it came to pass, when she pressed him daily with her words, and urged him, so that his soul was vexed unto death;

Judges 16:17 That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There hath not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.

Judges 16:18 And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he hath shewed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand.

Judges 16:19 And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.

Judges 16:20 And she said, The Philistines be upon thee, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he wist not that the LORD was departed from him.

Judges 16:21 But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.

Psalm 5:3 My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.

Psalm 5:4 For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.

Psalm 5:5 The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.

Psalm 5:6 Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.

Psalm 1:1 Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful.

Psalm 1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night.

Psalm 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper.

Psalm 1:4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away.

Psalm 1:5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

Psalm 1:6 For the LORD knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.

Love,

Cheryl

TAKE MY LIFE AND LET IT BE

Take my life, and let it be consecrated, Lord, to Thee.

Take my moments and my days; let them flow in ceaseless praise.

Take my hands, and let them move at the impulse of Thy love.

Take my feet, and let them be swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take my voice, and let me sing always, only, for my King.

Take my lips, and let them be filled with messages from Thee.

Take my silver and my gold; not a mite would I withhold.

Take my intellect, and use every power as Thou shalt choose.

Take my will, and make it Thine; it shall be no longer mine.

Take my heart, it is Thine own; it shall be Thy royal throne.

Take my love, my Lord, I pour at Thy feet its treasure store.

Take myself, and I will be ever, only, all for Thee.

I NEED THEE EVERY HOUR

I need Thee every hour, most gracious Lord;

No tender voice like Thine can peace afford.

I need Thee, O I need Thee;

Every hour I need Thee;

O bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour, stay Thou nearby;

Temptations lose their power when Thou art nigh.

I need Thee, O I need Thee;

Every hour I need Thee;

O bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour, in joy or pain;

Come quickly and abide, or life is in vain.

I need Thee every hour; teach me Thy will;

And Thy rich promises in me fulfill.

I need Thee, O I need Thee;

Every hour I need Thee;

O bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

I need Thee every hour, most Holy One;

O make me Thine indeed, Thou blessèd Son.

I need Thee, O I need Thee;

Every hour I need Thee;

O bless me now, my Savior,

I come to Thee.

Good Morning~~~Have A Sunday Spent With The Son~~~~ Precious Promise & Prayer

PRECIOUS PROMISE

Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God:

Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.

Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

When we start doubting our salvation we need to remind ourselves we did nothing to get our salvation so nothing we can do to lose our salvation. It is faith in Jesus, and accepting the free gift of salvation, it is only through Jesus. I heard a Preacher (James Knox) give an example on this someone takes you out to lunch tells you here take this $10. for your lunch it is that easy, however you refuse the ten dollars think I am not taking your charity, I can pay for my own lunch. Some people have such an issue with pride they truly believe they will get to heaven on their own. The Lord tells us no one is good no one is righteous our very best is as filthy rags. (Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away).

Matthew 19:17 And he said unto him, Why callest thou me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if thou wilt enter into life, keep the commandments.

PRECIOUS PRAYER

Act 4:28 For to do whatsoever thy hand and thy counsel determined before to be done.

Act 4:29 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings: and grant unto thy servants, that with all boldness they may speak thy word,

Act 4:30 By stretching forth thine hand to heal; and that signs and wonders may be done by the name of thy holy child Jesus.

Act 4:31 And when they had prayed, the place was shaken where they were assembled together; and they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and they spake the word of God with boldness.

Act 4:32 And the multitude of them that believed were of one heart and of one soul: neither said any of them that ought of the things which he possessed was his own; but they had all things common.

Act 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.

As children of the Heavenly Father, the Mighty God, we need to pray this also. We need to ask for boldness, to ask for a bold spirit to go out into the world and tell of our Precious Savior, Our Jesus what he did on Calvary and Why. Give hope to the hopeless, show the lost how they can find Heaven and know for sure.

SOFTLY AND TENDERLY

Softly and tenderly Jesus is calling,

Calling for you and for me;

See, on the portals He’s waiting and watching,

Watching for you and for me.

Come home, come home,

You who are weary, come home;

Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,

Calling, O sinner, come home!

Why should we tarry when Jesus is pleading,

Pleading for you and for me?

Why should we linger and heed not His mercies,

Mercies for you and for me?

Come home, come home,

You who are weary, come home;

Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,

Calling, O sinner, come home!

Time is now fleeting, the moments are passing,

Passing from you and from me;

Shadows are gathering, deathbeds are coming,

Coming for you and for me.

Come home, come home,

You who are weary, come home;

Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,

Calling, O sinner, come home!

O for the wonderful love He has promised,

Promised for you and for me!

Though we have sinned, He has mercy and pardon,

Pardon for you and for me.

Come home, come home,

You who are weary, come home;

Earnestly, tenderly, Jesus is calling,

Calling, O sinner, come home!

O TO BE LIKE THEE

O to be like Thee! blessed Redeemer;

This is my constant longing and prayer;

Gladly I’ll forfeit all of earth’s treasures,

Jesus, Thy perfect likeness to wear.

O to be like Thee! O to be like Thee!

Blessed Redeemer, pure as Thou art;

Come in Thy sweetness, come in Thy fullness;

Stamp Thine own image deep on my heart.

O to be like Thee! full of compassion,

Loving, forgiving, tender and kind,

Helping the helpless, cheering the fainting,

Seeking the wand’ring sinners to find.

O to be like Thee! lowly in spirit,

Holy and harmless, patient and brave;

Meekly enduring cruel reproaches,

Willing to suffer, others to save.

O to be like Thee! Lord, I am coming,

Now to receive th’ anointing divine;

All that I am and have I am bringing;

Lord, from this moment all shall be Thine.

O to be like Thee! While I am pleading

Pour out Thy Spirit, fill with Thy love.

Make me a temple meet for Thy dwelling,

Fit for a life which Thou wouldst approve.
