FAITH

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! Active Faith!!!

If We Only Had Faith The Size Of A Mustard Seed We Could Move Mountains And Others Could See The Faith And It Would Be A Great Witness; When we lack faith, it is also a lack of obedience to his word, and demonstrates lack of trust in the power and capabilities in our awesome Lord.

His Holy word gives us examples of individuals who exercised an active faith in God. By Faith the LORD used Moses to send the plagues upon Egypt, and lead the Israelites out of Egypt. By faith God used Joshua;We see Joshua’s faithfulness in the act of obediently consecrating the people before the invasion of the Promised Land and again after the defeat at Ai. But no more clearly is Joshua’s faithfulness on display than at the end of the book that bears his name when he gathers the people together one last time and recounts the deeds of God on their behalf. After that speech, Joshua urges the people to forsake their idols and remain faithful to the covenant that God made with them at Sinai, saying, “And if it is evil in your eyes to serve the Lord, choose this day whom you will serve, whether the gods your fathers served in the region beyond the River, or the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell. But as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord”

Joshua 24:14 Now therefore fear the LORD, and serve him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye the LORD.

Joshua 24:15 And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.

Joshua 24:16 And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake the LORD, to serve other gods;

Joshua 24:17 For the LORD our God, he it is that brought us up and our fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:

Joshua 24:18 And the LORD drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve the LORD; for he is our God.

Joshua 24:19 And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot serve the LORD: for he is an holy God; he is a jealous God; he will not forgive your transgressions nor your sins.

Joshua 24:20 If ye forsake the LORD, and serve strange gods, then he will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you good.

Daniel when he heard the new laws he didn't go back home and say "sorry LORD

can't pray anymore I might get hurt". He went about his same routine with his

prayers. When he got thrown into the lions den he didn't scream, cry, panic, he knew

the Father would take care of him.

Daniel 6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house; and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did aforetime.

Daniel 6:11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication before his God.

Daniel 6:12 Then they came near, and spake before the king concerning the king's decree; Hast thou not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition of any God or man within thirty days, save of thee, O king, shall be cast into the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which altereth not.

Daniel 6:13 Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of the children of the captivity of Judah, regardeth not thee, O king, nor the decree that thou hast signed, but maketh his petition three times a day.

Daniel 6:14 Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself, and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down of the sun to deliver him.

Daniel 6:15 Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know, O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute which the king establisheth may be changed.

Daniel 6:16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into the den of lions. Now the king spake and said unto Daniel, Thy God whom thou servest continually, he will deliver thee.

Daniel 6:17 And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.

Daniel 6:18 Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither were instruments of musick brought before him: and his sleep went from him.

Daniel 6:19 Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto the den of lions.

Daniel 6:20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel: and the king spake and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is thy God, whom thou servest continually, able to deliver thee from the lions?

Daniel 6:21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.

Daniel 6:22 My God hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, O king, have I done no hurt.

Daniel 6:23 Then was the king exceeding glad for him, and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.

We can go to Church every time the doors are open, sing each Hymn loud and clear. We can give the Pastor a good, and hearty handshake, yell Amen. However if we doubt all the The Lord has said in his Book, and have the "well I am not so sure" attitude your faith is measuring at 0 on the faith barometer. Do we realize our faith is seen before the lost in this world; but also the Father sees all our heart, thoughts, minds. He never lies, breaks promises, if he tells us he will be with us, HE WILL BE WITH US.

Active Faith comes from complete submission to our Precious Lord. Active faith is to be there with us through the trials and good times. When something starts to unravel, we can't go running and hide under our bed and start screaming. When we truly are living by faith it will show during them tough times. When we have active faith it shows to those who don't know our precious Lord and be a great example. Maybe one person would come to salvation over seeing our faith in our Lord.

Luk 17:5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

Luk 17:6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

Luk 17:7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?

Luk 17:8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?

Luk 17:9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.

Luk 17:10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

Live by faith, remember who our faith is in. The Lord is all powerful, he is able to do all things, he is our Father, our Savior. He won't allow anything to happen to us without his permission. It is not putting faith in a celebrity who doesn't know us, a superhero who is fake, a old friend who came back to town looking for money. He is the ALMIGHTY GOD....

Deuteronomy 32:20 And he said, I will hide my face from them, I will see what their end shall be: for they are a very froward generation, children in whom is no faith.

Psalm 57:2 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performeth all things for me.

Psalm 57:3 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.

Luke 17:5 And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith.

Luke 17:6 And the Lord said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

Luke 17:7 But which of you, having a servant plowing or feeding cattle, will say unto him by and by, when he is come from the field, Go and sit down to meat?

Luke 17:8 And will not rather say unto him, Make ready wherewith I may sup, and gird thyself, and serve me, till I have eaten and drunken; and afterward thou shalt eat and drink?

Luke 17:9 Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not.

Luke 17:10 So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do.

Ephesians 3:16 That he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with might by his Spirit in the inner man;

Ephesians 3:17 That Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,

Ephesians 3:18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;

Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of God.

FAITH IS THE VICTORY

Encamped along the hills of light,

Ye Christian soldiers, rise.

And press the battle ere the night

Shall veil the glowing skies.

Against the foe in vales below

Let all our strength be hurled.

Faith is the victory, we know,

That overcomes the world.

Faith is the victory! Faith is the victory!

O glorious victory, that overcomes the world.

His banner over us is love,

Our sword the Word of God.

We tread the road the saints above

With shouts of triumph trod.

By faith, they like a whirlwind’s breath,

Swept on o’er every field.

The faith by which they conquered death

Is still our shining shield.

Faith is the victory! Faith is the victory!

O glorious victory, that overcomes the world.

On every hand the foe we find

Drawn up in dread array.

Let tents of ease be left behind,

And onward to the fray.

Salvation’s helmet on each head,

With truth all girt about,

The earth shall tremble ’neath our tread,

And echo with our shout.

Faith is the victory! Faith is the victory!

O glorious victory, that overcomes the world.

To him that overcomes the foe,

White raiment shall be giv’n.

Before the angels he shall know

His name confessed in Heav’n.

Then onward from the hill of light,

Our hearts with love aflame,

We’ll vanquish all the hosts of night,

In Jesus’ conqu’ring Name.

Faith is the victory! Faith is the victory!

O glorious victory, that overcomes the world.

MY FAITH HAS FOUND A RESTING PLACE

My faith has found a resting place,

Not in device or creed;

I trust the ever living One,

His wounds for me shall plead.

I need no other argument,

I need no other plea,

It is enough that Jesus died,

And that He died for me.

Enough for me that Jesus saves,

This ends my fear and doubt;

A sinful soul I come to Him,

He’ll never cast me out.

I need no other argument,

I need no other plea,

It is enough that Jesus died,

And that He died for me.

My heart is leaning on the Word,

The living Word of God,

Salvation by my Savior’s Name,

Salvation through His blood.

I need no other argument,

I need no other plea,

It is enough that Jesus died,

And that He died for me.

My great Physician heals the sick,

The lost He came to save;

For me His precious blood He shed,

For me His life He gave.

I need no other argument,

I need no other plea,

It is enough that Jesus died,

And that He died for me.

Promise & Prayer

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! A Promise & Prayer!!!

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

Titus 1:2 In hope of eternal life, which God, that cannot lie, promised before the world began;

John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Therefore for those who are lost and are not sure where their eternal home is (which will be hell without Jesus). Right here these powerful promises tell us what the Father has done for us all. Jesus who cannot lie is telling us if we believe thats all BELIEVE. We will have life eternal in heaven so easy a child can understand.

NOT BY GOOD WORKS! NOT BY BAPTISIM! NOT BY CHURCH MEMBERSHIP! NOT WHERE YOU GO TO CHURCH! NOT GOING DOOR TO DOOR! NOT GOING ON A MISSIONS TRIP! NOT BY GIVING ALL YOUR MONEY TO A PRIEST! NOT BY PAYING A PEW CHARGE! NOT BY BOWING BEFORE A MAN OR KISSING ANYONES JEWERLY!

It is important to live for JESUS not man. It is important to tell others but your salvation does not depend on it. No where does GOD'S WORD SAY ANY OF THE ABOVE STUFF. God is the creator not man. Man sins not God who should we obey?

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

Philippians 1:9 And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

Philippians 1:10 That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ;

Philippians 1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

We see here Paul praying for the Philippians, so many places in God's word where people are praying for others. How often do we pray for others? If the LORD took the time to put these examples in his word, do you suppose he is telling us praying for others is very important?

DURING THE WEEK I WILL BE UPDATING MY PRAYER LIST IF YOU HAVE A PRAYER OR A PRAISE PLEASE SEND IT TO ME VIA EMAIL. IF YOU HAVE ASKED FOR PRAYER AND DON'T MIND IT ON HERE LET ME KNOW AND I WILL POST IT ON THIS LIST.

REDEEMED

Redeemed, how I love to proclaim it!

Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;

Redeemed through His infinite mercy,

His child and forever I am.

Redeemed, redeemed,

Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;

Redeemed, redeemed,

His child and forever I am.

Redeemed, and so happy in Jesus,

No language my rapture can tell;

I know that the light of His presence

With me doth continually dwell.

Redeemed, redeemed,

Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;

Redeemed, redeemed,

His child and forever I am.

I think of my blessèd Redeemer,

I think of Him all the day long:

I sing, for I cannot be silent;

His love is the theme of my song.

Redeemed, redeemed,

Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;

Redeemed, redeemed,

His child and forever I am.

I know there’s a crown that is waiting,

In yonder bright mansion for me,

And soon, with the spirits made perfect,

At home with the Lord I shall be.

Redeemed, redeemed,

Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;

Redeemed, redeemed,

His child and forever I am.

SPRINGS OF LIVING WATER

I thirsted in the barren land of sin and shame,

And nothing satisfying there I found;

But to the blessed cross of Christ one day I came,

Where springs of living water did abound.

Drinking at the springs of living water,

Happy now am I, my soul they satisfy;

Drinking at the springs of living water,

O wonderful and bountiful supply.

How sweet the living water from the hills of God,

It makes me glad and happy all the way;

Now glory, grace and blessing mark the path I've trod,

I'm shouting Hallelujah every day.

Drinking at the springs of living water,

Happy now am I, my soul they satisfy;

Drinking at the springs of living water,

O wonderful and bountiful supply.

O sinner, won't you come today to Calvary?

A fountain there is flowing deep and wide;

The Saviour now invites you to the water free,

Where thirsting spirits can be satisfied.

Drinking at the springs of living water,

Happy now am I, my soul they satisfy;

Drinking at the springs of living water,

O wonderful and bountiful supply.

Promise & Prayer

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Weekend!!! A Promise & A Prayer!!!

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

2Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:

2Timothy 4:8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

I have heard some "Christians" say well so I won't get a crown. First this not only is a horrible statement, but it maybe easy to say here before we get to Heaven. However these crowns we get we will place at the feet of our Precious Savior Jesus Christ. How do you suppose it will feel when standing before Jesus when others are placing things at the feet of Jesus, and we have NOTHING to place down? I know I mention this once in a while in my devotionals we are here to GLORIFY THE LORD, that is what we need to be putting as a priority. Our daily lives can be a witness how we live our life. Live a godly "Christian" individual, family, let your lights shine, show the joy of Christ. Let people see you are different, let them ask and explain why!!!!

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

1Kings 18:35 And the water ran round about the altar; and he filled the trench also with water.

1Kings 18:36 And it came to pass at the time of the offering of the evening sacrifice, that Elijah the prophet came near, and said, LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and of Israel, let it be known this day that thou art God in Israel, and that I am thy servant, and that I have done all these things at thy word.

1Kings 18:37 Hear me, O LORD, hear me, that this people may know that thou art the LORD God, and that thou hast turned their heart back again.

1Kings 18:38 Then the fire of the LORD fell, and consumed the burnt sacrifice, and the wood, and the stones, and the dust, and licked up the water that was in the trench.

1Kings 18:39 And when all the people saw it, they fell on their faces: and they said, The LORD, he is the God; the LORD, he is the God.

1Kings 18:40 And Elijah said unto them, Take the prophets of Baal; let not one of them escape. And they took them: and Elijah brought them down to the brook Kishon, and slew them there.

We see Elijah the Prophet praying and asking the LORD to show these people that he alone is the LORD God. He tells God that the people have once again turned their backs on him. The LORD God sent fire down consumed their burnt sacrifice, the wood, the stones, the dust, and licked up the water. The people fell on their faces and called out "The LORD, he is God".

Some people have to be reminded over and over, and we have to thankful our Lord is abounding with grace, mercy, and forgiveness. Wouldn't it be PLEASING to him just to be stop, trust and obey on a daily basis.

SATISFIED

All my life long I had panted

For a draught from some cool spring,

That I hoped would quench the burning

Of the thirst I felt within. Hallelujah! I have found Him

Whom my soul so long has craved!

Jesus satisfies my longings;

Through His life I now am saved.

Feeding on the husks around me,

Till my strength was almost gone,

Longed my soul for something better,

Only still to hunger on.

Poor I was, and sought for riches,

Something that would satisfy,

But the dust I gathered round me

Only mocked my soul’s sad cry.

Well of water, ever springing,

Bread of life, so rich and free,

Untold wealth that never faileth,

My Redeemer is to me.

AMAZING GRACE

Amazing grace! how sweet the sound,

That saved a wretch; like me!

I once was lost, but now am found,

Was blind, but now I see.

’Twas grace that taught my heart to fear,

And grace my fears relieved;

How precious did that grace appear

The hour I first believed!

The Lord hath promised good to me,

His word my hope secures;

He will my shield and portion be

As long as life endures.

When we’ve been there ten thousand years,

Bright shining as the sun,

We’ve no less days to sing God’s praise

Than when we first begun.

Be Attitude

Posted by Cheryl on June 26, 2015 at 8:40 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! Blessed Are!!!

The Happiest People In The World Are Those Willing To Yield Themselves To God And Experience His Grace Every Day; That is what the beatitudes are about – God showing through. It has always been God’s purpose that when He entered our lives, He would be allowed to so fill and guide our lives, that He would "show through". That He would be visible in our attitudes and actions. Not that we would be Christ, or try to do the things that Jesus would do, but that Christ Himself would be allowed to live through us. The beatitudes are like a light bulb, that only shines when plugged into God’s light, word, and through prayer.

One preacher said the beatitudes are supposed to ‘be’ your ‘attitude’. No…you can’t pretend. Humans aren’t able to keep the beatitudes, no matter how hard they try. Nobody can be like Jesus, like Jesus can. By the Holy Spirit, He has come to live in us, that He might live through us to meet the needs to serve the Lord and help others. And when He does, others see the image of Christ shining through this veil of flesh.

When we share the Bible with others, we must also be gentle. We tend to shove our beliefs down people’s throats. We come across as arrogant. If we approach a lost person with arrogance, and a high and mighty attitude what will make them want Jesus? What we just did is also ruin the rest witness for them.

How would life be different if Jesus were to come take your place? What if He took your place in the home? What if He performed your work on the job? What if He filled your Pastor's place in the pulpit? Yet, that is exactly what He wants to do. He came to live within us to mortify the carnal works of this vile body, master the doings of our daily life, manifest His character, and minister to others whom my life touches every day.

Knowing that should make us wonder, does anyone ever see God showing through us. Well, if they did, I know what He would look like, for the beatitudes are a self-portrait of Christ.

• He was poor in spirit. Although He was Almighty God with all the rights and privileges of deity, He made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Himself the form of a servant. He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

• He mourned. He wept for Lazarus. He wept over Jerusalem. He was a man of sorrows, acquainted with grief.

• He was meek. He hungered and thirsted after righteousness. He was merciful. Measure the life of Christ by these qualities, and you will find that He modeled them all. I am convinced that this is not a description of the Christian man, but of the man Christ. And as He was while on this earth, so we become as we yield our lives to Him.

This is what others should see when Christ is showing through:

A Happy Person

This is the first sermon recorded in the New Testament as having been preached by Jesus Christ. It begins with a promise of happiness. Nine times the voice of Jesus reached out to the multitudes seated on that hillside – people who were oppressed politically, socially, and economically – with the offer of genuine happiness. Are you happy? Too many people spend their lives thinking, "I could be happy if..." They are looking for happiness in the wrong places, associating it with the wrong things. And I would suggest that people seldom see God showing through them.

When God shows thru, the world will see not only a happy person, for happiness is based on happenstance or circumstances, but they’ll see something deeper…

B. A Whole Person

The beatitudes are a self-portrait of Christ – that which we would see if God were living in the body of a man. And God’s purpose, according to:

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

The beatitudes are not a standard for us to achieve, but a ruler by which to measure our submission to the Holy Spirit.

We should not spend precious time worrying about whether or not we are poor in spirit, meek, merciful, etc. Our focus needs to be on walking in the Spirit, being submissive to the Holy Spirit – because I know that if the Holy Spirit is in control of my life, He will manifest these qualities. However, the beatitudes let me know that if I am being hateful and vindictive then it is a sure sign that I am not walking in the Spirit. If I am driven by selfish ambition, then my life is not yielded to Christ.

Yield to Christ. Yield not to this sin-cursed world it has nothing for us and never has. We are here for Jesus, to glorify our Precious Lord who has given so much, and Loves us beyond all measure. If any of us believe that world out there cares about us, Let me sell you a bridge!!!

Love, Hugs, and Prayers

Titus 2:11 For the grace of God that bringeth salvation hath appeared to all men,

Titus 2:12 Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

Titus 2:13 Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ;

Titus 2:14 Who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.

Titus 2:15 These things speak, and exhort, and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.

Matthew 5:1 And seeing the multitudes, he went up into a mountain: and when he was set, his disciples came unto him:

Matthew 5:2 And he opened his mouth, and taught them, saying,

Matthew 5:3 Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:4 Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted.

Matthew 5:5 Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

Matthew 5:6 Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

Matthew 5:7 Blessed are the merciful: for they shall obtain mercy.

Matthew 5:8 Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.

Matthew 5:9 Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of God.

Matthew 5:10 Blessed are they which are persecuted for righteousness' sake: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 5:11 Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

Matthew 5:12 Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.

Matthew 5:13 Ye are the salt of the earth: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall it be salted? it is thenceforth good for nothing, but to be cast out, and to be trodden under foot of men.

Matthew 5:14 Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.

Matthew 5:15 Neither do men light a candle, and put it under a bushel, but on a candlestick; and it giveth light unto all that are in the house.

Matthew 5:16 Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.

1Peter 3:14 But and if ye suffer for righteousness' sake, happy are ye: and be not afraid of their terror, neither be troubled;

1Peter 3:15 But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:

1Peter 3:16 Having a good conscience; that, whereas they speak evil of you, as of evildoers, they may be ashamed that falsely accuse your good conversation in Christ.

1Peter 3:17 For it is better, if the will of God be so, that ye suffer for well doing, than for evil doing.

TAKE THE WORLD BUT GIVE ME JESUS

Take the world, but give me Jesus,

All its joys are but a name;

But His love abideth ever,

Through eternal years the same.

Oh, the height and depth of mercy!

Oh, the length and breadth of love!

Oh, the fullness of redemption,

Pledge of endless life above!

Take the world, but give me Jesus,

Sweetest comfort of my soul;

With my Savior watching o’er me,

I can sing though billows roll.

Take the world, but give me Jesus,

Let me view His constant smile;

Then throughout my pilgrim journey

Light will cheer me all the while.

Take the world, but give me Jesus;

In His cross my trust shall be,

Till, with clearer, brighter vision,

Face to face my Lord I see.

RESCUE THE PERISHING

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,

Snatch them in pity from sin and the grave;

Weep o’er the erring one, lift up the fallen,

Tell them of Jesus, the mighty to save.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,

Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

Though they are slighting Him, still He is waiting,

Waiting the penitent child to receive;

Plead with them earnestly, plead with them gently;

He will forgive if they only believe.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,

Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

Down in the human heart, crushed by the tempter,

Feelings lie buried that grace can restore;

Touched by a loving heart, wakened by kindness,

Chords that were broken will vibrate once more.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,

Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

Rescue the perishing, duty demands it;

Strength for thy labor the Lord will provide;

Back to the narrow way patiently win them;

Tell the poor wand’rer a Savior has died.

Rescue the perishing, care for the dying,

Jesus is merciful, Jesus will save.

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! Joy!!!

I And Many Others Need A Good Dose Of Prayer, And To Ask The Lord To Restore That Joy We

Had On The Day Of Salvation; The good news is joy can be restored in Psalm 51:8 it is written:

"Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may

rejoice". So we can see we are not the first to lose our joy, however to sit on our chairs

and do nothing is not helping us or nobody else. The good news I will tell you is that joy

can be restored. The word "restore" itself implies that it is something that the Psalmist once had

and needed to recover. To "restore" can mean "to bring back into a normal or former

condition." When one restores an old automobile, it means the owner seeks to bring the

automobile back as close as is possible, to what it was when it was new. In regard to the

restoration of joy. He does not ask God to return his salvation, for he never lost it, but rather his

request is for joy. The Christian who has lost his joy is a pitiful sight.

What causes us to lose our joy? It can be many things in this case it was sin. Rebellion, adultery and murder had caused tremendous problems in the life of the Psalmist (David).

He was tired of sin and its consequences.

Sin hardens our hearts, we lose our joy, we are on the defensive, on guard all the time. Hard hearted people are certainly not joyful people. We lose our peace and without peace we lose our joy. Sin hinders us in many ways; growth, fellowship, separation from our Lord. One loses his joy when there is unconfessed sin, because it grieves the Holy Ghost, who produces joy in the heart of every believer. Sin handicaps. It so cripples one’s life that he or she cannot think right, walk right, or feel right.

The Results Of Restoration are glorious, and wonderful. We have fellowship with the Lord again, and the brethren. We have that Joy, and peace back. When the lost see us again it is obvious we have that, and they start to realize we have something special that they want, maybe won't admit to but they think about. When we are miserable, downhearted, not a smile comes across these lips why would the lost want what we have? If when they talk with us we sound like Eyore and we are on last leg is someone going to say "Yes I want Jesus Too"? No they will say "No Thanks I don't want to be miserable I am better in my world".

BE JOYFUL, SMILE, WHEN ASKED HOW YOU ARE SAY THANKFUL I AM SAVED, MY FATHER IS THE KING. IF YOU ARE NOT FEELING WELL SAY I AM NOT FEELING WELL BUT HEY WHEN I GET HOME TO HEAVEN WON'T HAVE TO DEAL WITH THIS ANYMORE. WE ARE HERE TO GLORIFY THE LORD DO IT WITH JOY AND GLADNESS.

Psalm 51:1 To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David, when Nathan the prophet came unto him, after he had gone in to Bathsheba. Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.

Psalm 51:2 Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

Psalm 51:3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.

Psalm 51:4 Against thee, thee only, have I sinned, and done this evil in thy sight: that thou mightest be justified when thou speakest, and be clear when thou judgest.

Psalm 51:5 Behold, I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.

Psalm 51:6 Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom.

Psalm 51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.

Psalm 51:8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which thou hast broken may rejoice.

Psalm 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation; and uphold me with thy free spirit.

Psalm 51:13 Then will I teach transgressors thy ways; and sinners shall be converted unto thee.

Psalm 51:14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of thy righteousness.

Psalm 51:15 O Lord, open thou my lips; and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.

Philippians 3:1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

Philippians 3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

Philippians 3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Romans 5:3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience;

Romans 5:4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

Romans 5:5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.

Romans 15:13 Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 15:14 And I myself also am persuaded of you, my brethren, that ye also are full of goodness, filled with all knowledge, able also to admonish one another.

Proverbs 17:22 A merry heart doeth good like a medicine: but a broken spirit drieth the bones.

CROWN HIM WITH MANY CROWNS

Crown Him with many crowns, the Lamb upon His throne.

Hark! How the heavenly anthem drowns all music but its own.

Awake, my soul, and sing of Him who died for thee,

And hail Him as thy matchless King through all eternity.

Crown Him the virgin’s Son, the God incarnate born,

Whose arm those crimson trophies won which now His brow adorn;

Fruit of the mystic rose, as of that rose the stem;

The root whence mercy ever flows, the Babe of Bethlehem.

Crown Him the Son of God, before the worlds began,

And ye who tread where He hath trod, crown Him the Son of Man;

Who every grief hath known that wrings the human breast,

And takes and bears them for His own, that all in Him may rest.

Crown Him the Lord of life, who triumphed over the grave,

And rose victorious in the strife for those He came to save.

His glories now we sing, who died, and rose on high,

Who died eternal life to bring, and lives that death may die.

Crown Him the Lord of peace, whose power a scepter sways

From pole to pole, that wars may cease, and all be prayer and praise.

His reign shall know no end, and round His piercèd feet

Fair flowers of paradise extend their fragrance ever sweet.

Crown Him the Lord of love, behold His hands and side,

Those wounds, yet visible above, in beauty glorified.

No angel in the sky can fully bear that sight,

But downward bends his burning eye at mysteries so bright.

Crown Him the Lord of Heaven, enthroned in worlds above,

Crown Him the King to Whom is given the wondrous name of Love.

Crown Him with many crowns, as thrones before Him fall;

Crown Him, ye kings, with many crowns, for He is King of all.

Crown Him the Lord of lords, who over all doth reign,

Who once on earth, the incarnate Word, for ransomed sinners slain,

Now lives in realms of light, where saints with angels sing

Their songs before Him day and night, their God, Redeemer, King.

LOVE DIVINE

Love divine, all loves excelling,

Joy of heaven to earth come down;

Fix in us thy humble dwelling;

All thy faithful mercies crown!

Jesus, Thou art all compassion,

Pure unbounded love Thou art;

Visit us with Thy salvation;

Enter every trembling heart.

Breathe, O breathe Thy loving Spirit,

Into every troubled breast!

Let us all in Thee inherit;

Let us find that second rest.

Take away our bent to sinning;

Alpha and Omega be;

End of faith, as its Beginning,

Set our hearts at liberty.

Come, Almighty to deliver,

Let us all Thy life receive;

Suddenly return and never,

Never more Thy temples leave.

Thee we would be always blessing,

Serve Thee as Thy hosts above,

Pray and praise Thee without ceasing,

Glory in Thy perfect love.

Finish, then, Thy new creation;

Pure and spotless let us be.

Let us see Thy great salvation

Perfectly restored in Thee;

Changed from glory into glory,

Till in heaven we take our place,

Till we cast our crowns before Thee,

Lost in wonder, love, and praise.

RIGHT WORSHIP

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!! Proper Worship!!!

How Do We Worship Our Lord Properly? Is It By Praising Jesus On Sunday, And Serving Other God's Monday Through Saturday; We see in 2 Kings, that God describes in detail the religion of those imported into Samaria.There are some characteristics of their religion we must beware of. We need to do a comparison of how our worship actually could compare to that of the Samaritans in our text. Read, and see, for some of us the comparison may be a little to close for comfort.

Fear has a great deal to do with the worship of God and we see that these people feared God.

So they feared the Lord so they said, yet served other gods. So these nations feared the Lord, yet served their carved images.They had the wrong kind of fear, they do not fear the Lord.This is not a contradiction, these people did fear and they did not fear. We need the proper fear Solomon said “it shall be well with them that fear God”. For those who don’t fear God it will not be well. So what kind of fear is it that we are to have? The fear of God we are to have is a reverend fear. A fear that motivates us to turn away from sin and serve God faithfully at all times. A fear that when our heart is pricked when doing wrong doesn't say "yeah it is wrong but we are forgiven so who really cares". The Fear of the Lord is when we love and consider our Precious Lord through good and bad times.

These people would have never thought of God till the LORD sent the Lions before them.When they did think of God, it was only to tremble before Him because of the lions. This is exactly like so many people today. So many are like that today only think of the Lord when they are ill, they family are sick, or going through a calamity. They don't think of him when having a good time, and hanging with the world. If we turn to God only when things go wrong, then our religion is no different than the Samaritans. If we have idols like the Samaritans had their statues, we have cars, boats, movies, football, beauty stuff, food, sports, facebook, youtube, the list could go on and on anything that tales our time away from the Lord..

With a proper kind of fear a real “REVERENCE” for the Lord we will draw close to God through obedience. When we do we will understand His great love for us and we will serve because of that love.

2Kings 17:24 And the king of Assyria brought men from Babylon, and from Cuthah, and from Ava, and from Hamath, and from Sepharvaim, and placed them in the cities of Samaria instead of the children of Israel: and they possessed Samaria, and dwelt in the cities thereof.

2Kings 17:25 And so it was at the beginning of their dwelling there, that they feared not the LORD: therefore the LORD sent lions among them, which slew some of them.

2Kings 17:26 Wherefore they spake to the king of Assyria, saying, The nations which thou hast removed, and placed in the cities of Samaria, know not the manner of the God of the land: therefore he hath sent lions among them, and, behold, they slay them, because they know not the manner of the God of the land.

2Kings 17:27 Then the king of Assyria commanded, saying, Carry thither one of the priests whom ye brought from thence; and let them go and dwell there, and let him teach them the manner of the God of the land.

2Kings 17:28 Then one of the priests whom they had carried away from Samaria came and dwelt in Bethel, and taught them how they should fear the LORD.

2Kings 17:29 Howbeit every nation made gods of their own, and put them in the houses of the high places which the Samaritans had made, every nation in their cities wherein they dwelt.

2Kings 17:30 And the men of Babylon made Succothbenoth, and the men of Cuth made Nergal, and the men of Hamath made Ashima,

2Kings 17:31 And the Avites made Nibhaz and Tartak, and the Sepharvites burnt their children in fire to Adrammelech and Anammelech, the gods of Sepharvaim.

2Kings 17:32 So they feared the LORD, and made unto themselves of the lowest of them priests of the high places, which sacrificed for them in the houses of the high places.

2Kings 17:33 They feared the LORD, and served their own gods, after the manner of the nations whom they carried away from thence.

2Kings 17:34 Unto this day they do after the former manners: they fear not the LORD, neither do they after their statutes, or after their ordinances, or after the law and commandment which the LORD commanded the children of Jacob, whom he named Israel;

2Kings 17:35 With whom the LORD had made a covenant, and charged them, saying, Ye shall not fear other gods, nor bow yourselves to them, nor serve them, nor sacrifice to them:

2Kings 17:36 But the LORD, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt with great power and a stretched out arm, him shall ye fear, and him shall ye worship, and to him shall ye do sacrifice.

2Kings 17:37 And the statutes, and the ordinances, and the law, and the commandment, which he wrote for you, ye shall observe to do for evermore; and ye shall not fear other gods.

2Kings 17:38 And the covenant that I have made with you ye shall not forget; neither shall ye fear other gods.

2Kings 17:39 But the LORD your God ye shall fear; and he shall deliver you out of the hand of all your enemies.

2Kings 17:40 Howbeit they did not hearken, but they did after their former manner.

2Kings 17:41 So these nations feared the LORD, and served their graven images, both their children, and their children's children: as did their fathers, so do they unto this day.

Matthew 10:27 What I tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.

Matthew 10:28 And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell.

Ecclesiastes 8:11 Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil.

Ecclesiastes 8:12 Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before him:

Ecclesiastes 8:13 But it shall not be well with the wicked, neither shall he prolong his days, which are as a shadow; because he feareth not before God.

Ecclesiastes 8:14 There is a vanity which is done upon the earth; that there be just men, unto whom it happeneth according to the work of the wicked; again, there be wicked men, to whom it happeneth according to the work of the righteous: I said that this also is vanity.

John 4:20 Our fathers worshipped in this mountain; and ye say, that in Jerusalem is the place where men ought to worship.

John 4:21 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father.

John 4:22 Ye worship ye know not what: we know what we worship: for salvation is of the Jews.

John 4:23 But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.

John 4:24 God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

JOYFUL JOYFUL WE ADORE THEE

Joyful, joyful, we adore Thee, God of glory, Lord of love;

Hearts unfold like flowers before Thee, opening to the sun above.

Melt the clouds of sin and sadness; drive the dark of doubt away;

Giver of immortal gladness, fill us with the light of day!

All Thy works with joy surround Thee, earth and heaven reflect Thy rays,

Stars and angels sing around Thee, center of unbroken praise.

Field and forest, vale and mountain, flowery meadow, flashing sea,

Singing bird and flowing fountain call us to rejoice in Thee.

Thou art giving and forgiving, ever blessing, ever blessed,

Wellspring of the joy of living, ocean depth of happy rest!

Thou our Father, Christ our Brother, all who live in love are Thine;

Teach us how to love each other, lift us to the joy divine.

Mortals, join the happy chorus, which the morning stars began;

Father love is reigning o’er us, brother love binds man to man.

Ever singing, march we onward, victors in the midst of strife,

Joyful music leads us Sunward in the triumph song of life.

O WORSHIP THE KING

O worship the King, all glorious above,

O gratefully sing His power and His love;

Our Shield and Defender, the Ancient of Days,

Pavilioned in splendor, and girded with praise.

O tell of His might, O sing of His grace,

Whose robe is the light, whose canopy space,

His chariots of wrath the deep thunderclouds form,

And dark is His path on the wings of the storm.

The earth with its store of wonders untold,

Almighty, Thy power hath founded of old;

Established it fast by a changeless decree,

And round it hath cast, like a mantle, the sea.

Thy bountiful care, what tongue can recite?

It breathes in the air, it shines in the light;

It streams from the hills, it descends to the plain,

And sweetly distills in the dew and the rain.

Frail children of dust, and feeble as frail,

In Thee do we trust, nor find Thee to fail;

Thy mercies how tender, how firm to the end,

Our Maker, Defender, Redeemer, and Friend.

O measureless might! Ineffable love!

While angels delight to worship Thee above,

The humbler creation, though feeble their lays,

With true adoration shall all sing Thy praise.

MY DAILY BREAD

Good Morning!!! Have & Wonderful Day!!! Our Daily Bread!!!

How Many Of Us Know Yhe Lord's Prayer By Heart And In Some Places It Is Even Repeated As A Special Prayer In Each Service; Why would this be wrong?

Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

The Lord's Pray as it is called, was given as an example to us to show us how to pray.

Matthew 6:7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Matthew 6:8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye:

It is a guide not a prayer to repeat daily. It shows us first give praise unto the Father, talk of his coming, his will being done. Giving us his bread which is him, his word, his knowledge, his strength, ask for forgiveness, what have we done that we need forgiveness for. Pray that we are forgiving others, if not helping us to forgive. Pray for others, keep us from evil, the things of this world, things we NEED to avoid. When we are done praying thank the Lord, ask for his will not ours to be done, glorify him. When we say this prayer over and over we don't even hear the words anymore most often we are making our grocery list or waiting to out on the lake.

Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

Matthew 6:10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Matthew 6:11 Give us this day our daily bread.

Matthew 6:12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

Matthew 6:13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

When the Lord responded to the disciples request that He teach them how to pray, He gave them the most perfect and simplest outline for prayer ever conceived, that all could understand. As we have noted so far, the prayer consists of seven petitions or requests. The first three have to do with God and are distinguished by the word “thy.” “Thy name,” “Thy kingdom,” and “Thy will.” The second four petitions, which we begin to examine now, have to do with human well-being and are distinguished by the word “us:” “give us,” “forgive us,” “keep us” and “lead us.” In these last petitions we turn from praying for God’s glory to praying for our needs.

I also find it interesting that the first real petition in this model prayer only comes after we have begun in praise and have affirmed the priority of the kingdom of God and his rule in our lives. We need to remember just how important this is. We can only truly pray effectively for ourselves after gaining the perspective that worship and a focus on the kingdom of God will provide. Only then are we ready to ask for the things that we need, right after things for others.

The three essential principles for receiving from God are;

Obedience. If we want to receive from the hands of God we must live within the will of God. There are several areas in our walk with that are essential we are obedient in if we expect to receive from God. We must be obedient;

In our Fellowship with Christ. Obviously, if we are to be a position to receive anything from the father we are going to have to be in a right relationship with Jesus. Jesus has told us, “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall begiven you.

Working as A Christian; when was the last time you told someone of Jesus Christ? When was the Last time you went to church more than once a week? When was the last time you checked on someone who has been sick? To be a worker for Christ it consists of more than keeping the pew warm more than once a week.

Why do we not always get in abundance is because we get high and mighty and feel we no longer need the Lord. Once we get that prideful "I can do this by myself" we are in big trouble.The ultimate bread is Jesus Christ himself.

John 6:51 I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world.

Proverbs 30:8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:

Proverbs 30:9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.

John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

John 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

John 15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Hebrews 10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

Hebrews 10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:

Hebrews 10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,

Hebrews 13:16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

Hebrews 13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you.

Hebrews 13:18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things willing to live honestly.

Cheryl

LOVE LIFTED ME

I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore,

Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more,

But the Master of the sea, heard my despairing cry,

From the waters lifted me, now safe am I.

Love lifted me! Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help

Love lifted me!

All my heart to Him I give, ever to Him I’ll cling

In His blessèd presence live, ever His praises sing,

Love so mighty and so true, merits my soul’s best songs,

Faithful, loving service too, to Him belongs.

Love lifted me! Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help

Love lifted me!

Souls in danger look above, Jesus completely saves,

He will lift you by His love, out of the angry waves.

He’s the Master of the sea, billows His will obey,

He your Savior wants to be, be saved today.

Love lifted me! Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help

Love lifted me!

THE LILY OF THE VALLEY

I have found a friend in Jesus, He’s everything to me,

He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul;

The Lily of the Valley, in Him alone I see

All I need to cleanse and make me fully whole.

In sorrow He’s my comfort, in trouble He’s my stay;

He tells me every care on Him to roll.

He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star,

He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.

He all my grief has taken, and all my sorrows borne;

In temptation He’s my strong and mighty tow’r;

I have all for Him forsaken, and all my idols torn

From my heart and now He keeps me by His pow’r.

Though all the world forsake me, and Satan tempt me sore,

Through Jesus I shall safely reach the goal.

He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star,

He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.

He will never, never leave me, nor yet forsake me here,

While I live by faith and do His blessed will;

A wall of fire about me, I’ve nothing now to fear,

From His manna He my hungry soul shall fill.

Then sweeping up to glory to see His blessed face,

Where rivers of delight shall ever roll.

He’s the Lily of the Valley, the Bright and Morning Star,

He’s the fairest of ten thousand to my soul.

Promise & Prayer

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Weekend!!! A Promise & A Prayer!!!

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

Hebrews 6:13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he sware by himself,

Hebrews 6:14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless thee, and multiplying I will multiply thee.

Hebrews 6:15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

Hebrews 6:16 For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.

Hebrews 6:17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to shew unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

Hebrews 6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

We see when promised something by God we have no greater promises. He is all holy, no sin, and unable to lie. With man we question promises, with God we never have to question his promises. Therefore why would break our promises to him?

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

Matthew 20:20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedee's children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.

Matthew 20:21 And he said unto her, What wilt thou? She saith unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on thy right hand, and the other on the left, in thy kingdom.

Matthew 20:22 But Jesus answered and said, Ye know not what ye ask. Are ye able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.

Matthew 20:23 And he saith unto them, Ye shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

In verse 20-21 we see the Mother of Zebedee's children is asking for her children to be put on both sides of the Lord in Heaven. This Mom is very proud and presumptuous to have prayed for this for her sons. In verses 22-23 she is answered and it is not for her son's but for who it has been prepared for. Before we think to hard of this woman we all tend to get like this of our children often and have to realize just as adults they are not perfect, and sinners in need of a Savior. However the Lord does love them, and we are to pray daily for them.

ONY TRUST HIM

Come, every soul by sin oppressed,

there's mercy with the Lord;

and he will surely give you rest,

by trusting in his Word.

Only trust him, only trust him,

only trust him now.

He will save you, he will save you,

he will save you now.

For Jesus shed his precious blood

rich blessings to bestow;

plunge now into the crimson flood

that washes bright as snow.

Only trust him, only trust him,

only trust him now.

He will save you, he will save you,

he will save you now.

Yes, Jesus is the truth the way

that leads you into rest;

believe in him without delay,

and you are fully blest.

Only trust him, only trust him,

only trust him now.

He will save you, he will save you,

he will save you now.

Come then and join this holy band,

and on to glory go,

to dwell in that celestial land

where joys immortal flow.

Only trust him, only trust him,

only trust him now.

He will save you, he will save you,

he will save you now.

TRUST AND OBEY

When we walk with the Lord in the light of His Word,

What a glory He sheds on our way!

While we do His good will, He abides with us still,

And with all who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Not a shadow can rise, not a cloud in the skies,

But His smile quickly drives it away;

Not a doubt or a fear, not a sigh or a tear,

Can abide while we trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Not a burden we bear, not a sorrow we share,

But our toil He doth richly repay;

Not a grief or a loss, not a frown or a cross,

But is blessed if we trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

But we never can prove the delights of His love

Until all on the altar we lay;

For the favor He shows, for the joy He bestows,

Are for them who will trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey.

Then in fellowship sweet we will sit at His feet.

Or we’ll walk by His side in the way.

What He says we will do, where He sends we will go;

Never fear, only trust and obey.

Trust and obey, for there’s no other way

To be happy in Jesus, but to trust and obey

Promise & Prayer

Good Morning!!! Have A Blessed Friday!!! A Promise And A Prayer!!!

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

John 16:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

John 16:21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

John 16:22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.

John 16:23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

John 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

When we are his Child, all the promises in his word are ours. Sometimes we feel as if they don't; the reson for that is we are doubting! we are living in the world and ignoring our Father! the promise is right there and we aren't seeing it! God is faithful, and just, not capable of breaking his promise or going back on his word. If we are missing a promise; It Is Not His Fault most assuredly it is our fault.

REMEMBER REAL PEACE, JOY, HAPPINESS DOESN'T COME FROM THE WORLD, ONLY FROM OUR PRECIOUS LORD.

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

Job 7:16 I loathe it; I would not live alway: let me alone; for my days are vanity.

Job 7:17 What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him? and that thou shouldest set thine heart upon him?

Job 7:18 And that thou shouldest visit him every morning, and try him every moment?

Job 7:19 How long wilt thou not depart from me, nor let me alone till I swallow down my spittle?

Job 7:20 I have sinned; what shall I do unto thee, O thou preserver of men? why hast thou set me as a mark against thee, so that I am a burden to myself?

Job 7:21 And why dost thou not pardon my transgression, and take away mine iniquity? for now shall I sleep in the dust; and thou shalt seek me in the morning, but I shall not be.

Job 42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

Job 42:11 Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.

Job 42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

In Job 7 we see him calling out to the LORD, asking what he had done, telling the LORD he must have sinned other wise all this would not be taking place. Notice he is not telling the LORD "I did nothing wrong why are you doing this me" he isn't questioning the LORD, he is saying I must have sinned. Job still loves the Father through this. In chapter 42 we see the LORD giving him back more than he had. We also see the LORD comforting Job.

WHAT A WONDERFUL GOD WE HAVE!!!! AMEN PRAISE JESUS!!!

O JESUS , THOU ART STANDING

O Jesus, thou art standing

outside the fast-closed door,

in lowly patience waiting

to pass the threshold o'er:

shame on us, Christian brothers,

his name and sign who bear,

O shame, thrice shame upon us,

to keep him standing there!

O Jesus, thou art knocking;

and lo, that hand is scarred,

and thorns thy brow encircle,

and tears thy face have marred:

O love that passeth knowledge,

so patiently to wait!

O sin that hath no equal,

so fast to bar the gate!

O Jesus, thou art pleading

in accents meek and low,

"I died for you, my children,

and will ye treat me so?"

O Lord, with shame and sorrow

we open now the door;

dear Savior, enter, enter,

and leave us nevermore.

HAVE YOU ANY ROOM FOR JESUS

Have you any room for Jesus,

He who bore your load of sin?

As He knocks and asks admission,

Sinners, will you let Him in?

Room for Jesus, King of Glory!

Hasten now His Word obey;

Swing the heart’s door widely open,

Bid Him enter while you may.

Room for pleasure, room for business,

But for Christ the Crucified,

Not a place that He can enter,

In the heart for which He died?

Room for Jesus, King of Glory!

Hasten now His Word obey;

Swing the heart’s door widely open,

Bid Him enter while you may.

Have you any room for Jesus,

As in grace He calls again?

O today is time accepted,

Tomorrow you may call in vain.

Room for Jesus, King of Glory!

Hasten now His Word obey;

Swing the heart’s door widely open,

Bid Him enter while you may.

Room and time now give to Jesus,

Soon will pass God’s day of grace;

Soon thy heart left cold and silent,

And thy Savior’s pleading cease.

Room for Jesus, King of Glory!

Hasten now His Word obey;

Swing the heart’s door widely open,

Bid Him enter while you may.

HUMILITY

Posted by Cheryl on June 17, 2015 at 10:10 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Wednesday!!! Humility!!!

What Is A Perfect Example Of Humility; The best one is:

Jesus (100% God, 100% man) after having dinner with his disciples laid aside his outer garment, and taking a towel, tide it around his waist. Then he poured water into a basin and began to wash the disciples feet and to wipe them with the towel that was wrapped around him never saying "hey you do realize I am the mighty God and I am washing your feet" "this will be written down to prove humility because I am the God". He could have made all kinds of high ego comments but he doesn't, how often do we do something really humble but ruin it because we have to pat ourselves on the back? Let each of us look not to our own interest, but to the interests of glorifying our Precious Lord, and Savior, and others. Have your mind among pleasing our Lord Jesus Christ, which is yours in Christ Jesus who though his birth, death, resurrection we have eternal life in Heaven with Him. While here on this earth he took on being a servant, the Mighty God thought nothing to take on the form of a servant, being born in the "likeness of men” when Christians apply the spirit of humble servitude. Many doors can be open to minister the gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus beholds to us an example of what humble servitude looks like. Therefore we must serve one another as Christ showed by washing His disciples’ feet. Even in the mist of betrayal God’s love succeed all conditions. Even enduring the cross he gave his life for the sins of the world, he who knew NO SIN.

Jesus laid aside his garment in act of obedience to his father that He might show unconditional love towards us. Secondly, He becomes a slave that we might experience the acts of humble servitude. Finally, He confirms truth in our hearts that we may be a blessing to ourselves as with others. Every Christian must therefore respond to humble servitude. How would our Lord look at us when we respond with "I am not your slave do it yourself" think for a moment is he looking at us with a pleasing heart? How about Your Pastor asks for volunteers to clean the bathrooms at church people are avoiding cleaning them. Nobody is raising their hands, lots of whispering "I am not cleaning nobody's yucky bathroom mess". The Pastor who is working two full time jobs secular and being the Pastor, and losing lots of family time, tells the congregation no worries I will come early on Sunday and do it" very humble of that Pastor, again is the Lord happy with that congregation?

We need to learn to be humble, some jobs are not pleasant, some people are difficult. However our example is Jesus he is God he washed the disciples feet never said I am..., I did...this will...yet us sinners saved by grace still in the flesh are prideful group who want to start at the top, don't want our hands dirty, don't want to miss our IMPORTANT functions over the LORDS WORK.

MY FAVORITE PASTOR TALKS OF A TIME (I HOPE I GET THIS RIGHT) HE WANTED TO GET STARTED IN MINISTRY. HE TALKED TO HIS PASTOR AT THE TIME AND ASKED WHAT CAN I DO. THE PASTOR SAID TAKE OUT THE GARBAGE. MY FAVORITE PASTOR SAID OH OK. HE DIDN'T SAY NO I WANT SOMETHING BETTER, AN IMPORTANT JOB, SOMETHING THAT MATTERS, HE LOVES JESUS TOOK OUT THE GARBAGE, AND IS A WONDERFUL JESUS LOVING TRUTH TELLING PREACHER TODAY.

Be Humble we are all the same all made in his image. We are here for the same reason to glorify our Lord, our King. We are here to impress anyone. If Jesus didn't feel the need to walk around saying "Do you know who I am" why should we.

Ephesians 4:2 With all lowliness and meekness, with longsuffering, forbearing one another in love;

Ephesians 4:3 Endeavouring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.

James 4:10 Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord, and he shall lift you up.

Proverbs 11:2 When pride cometh, then cometh shame: but with the lowly is wisdom.

John 13:1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

John 13:2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;

John 13:3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;

John 13:4 He riseth from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.

John 13:5 After that he poureth water into a bason, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.

John 13:6 Then cometh he to Simon Peter: and Peter saith unto him, Lord, dost thou wash my feet?

John 13:7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do thou knowest not now; but thou shalt know hereafter.

John 13:8 Peter saith unto him, Thou shalt never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash thee not, thou hast no part with me.

John 13:9 Simon Peter saith unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.

John 13:10 Jesus saith to him, He that is washed needeth not save to wash his feet, but is clean every whit: and ye are clean, but not all.

John 13:11 For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, Ye are not all clean.

John 13:12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know ye what I have done to you?

John 13:13 Ye call me Master and Lord: and ye say well; for so I am.

John 13:14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; ye also ought to wash one another's feet.

John 13:15 For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you.

John 13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

John 13:17 If ye know these things, happy are ye if ye do them.

John 13:18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eateth bread with me hath lifted up his heel against me.

John 13:19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am he.

John 13:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receiveth whomsoever I send receiveth me; and he that receiveth me receiveth him that sent me.

John 13:21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

John 13:22 Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spake.

John 13:23 Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.

John 13:24 Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spake.

John 13:25 He then lying on Jesus' breast saith unto him, Lord, who is it?

John 13:26 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a sop, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the sop, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

John 13:27 And after the sop Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That thou doest, do quickly.

John 13:28 Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spake this unto him.

John 13:29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

John 13:30 He then having received the sop went immediately out: and it was night.

John 13:31 Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.

John 13:32 If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall straightway glorify him.

John 13:33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you.

John 13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another.

John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.

John 13:36 Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, whither goest thou? Jesus answered him, Whither I go, thou canst not follow me now; but thou shalt follow me afterwards.

2Corinthians 4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

2Corinthians 4:4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

2Corinthians 4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.

Romans 8:29 For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren.

I WOULD BE TRUE

I would be true, for there are those who trust me;

I would be pure, for there are those who care;

I would be strong, for there is much to suffer;

I would be brave, for there is much to dare;

I would be brave, for there is much to dare.

I would be friend of all—the foe, the friendless;

I would be giving, and forget the gift;

I would be humble, for I know my weakness;

I would look up, and laugh, and love and lift.

I would look up, and laugh, and love and lift.

I would be faithful through each passing moment;

I would be constantly in touch with God;

I would be strong to follow where He leads me;

I would have faith to keep the path Christ trod;

I would have faith to keep the path Christ trod.

Who is so low that I am not his brother?

Who is so high that I’ve no path to him?

Who is so poor, that I may not feel his hunger?

Who is so rich I may not pity him?

Who is so rich I may not pity him?

Who is so hurt I may not know his heartache?

Who sings for joy my heart may never share?

Who in God’s heaven has passed beyond my vision?

Who to Hell’s depths where I may never fare?

Who to Hell’s depths where I may never fare?

May none, then, call on me for understanding,

May none, then, turn to me for help in pain,

And drain alone his bitter cup of sorrow,

Or find he knocks upon my heart in vain.

Or find he knocks upon my heart in vain.

WHO IS IN THE LORD'S SIDE

Who is on the Lord's side?

Who will serve the King?

Who will be His helpers

Other lives to bring?

Who will leave the world's side?

Who will face the foe?

Who is on the Lord's side?

Who for Him will go?

By Thy call of mercy

By Thy grace Divine,

We are on the Lord's side,

Saviour, we are Thine.

Not for weight of glory,

Not for crown and palm,

Enter we the army,

Raise the warrior psalm;

But for Love that claimeth

Lives for whom He died:

He whom Jesus nameth

Must be on His side.

By Thy love constraining,

By Thy grace Divine,

We are on the Lord's side,

Saviour, we are Thine.

Jesus, Thou hast bought us,

Not with gold or gem,

But with Thine own life-blood,

For Thy diadem:

With Thy blessing filling

Each who comes to Thee,

Thou hast made us willing,

Thou hast made us free.

By Thy grand redemption,

By Thy grace Divine,

We are on the Lord's side,

Saviour, we are Thine.

Fierce may be the conflict,

Strong may be the foe,

But the King's own army

None can overthrow:

Round His standard ranging,

Victory is secure;

For His truth unchanging

Makes the triumph sure.

Joyfully enlisting,

By Thy grace Divine,

We are on the Lord's side.

Saviour, we are Thine!

Chosen to be soldiers

In an alien land,

Chosen, called, and faithful,

For our Captain's band;

In the service royal

Let us not grow cold;

Let us be right loyal,

Noble, true and bold.

Master, Thou wilt keep us,

By Thy grace Divine,

Always on the Lord's side,

Saviour, always Thine.

Amen.
