PROMISE & PRAYER

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! A Promise & A Prayer

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

When we are contented in the things in the Lord, and not in the world, this is what gives us peace. This is also what pleases the Lord and he gives us the desires of our heart. Think about it; why would he give us our desires when we are following the world? It would kind of be a waste. Another thought when we are following the world our desires will not keep us content, we will keep wanting more, that is how it is when we are following the world.

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

Numbers 16:13 Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?

Numbers 16:14 Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.

Numbers 16:15 And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.

Numbers 16:23 And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

Numbers 16:24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.

Numbers 16:25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.

Numbers 16:26 And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.

Numbers 16:27 So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.

Numbers 16:28 And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.

Numbers 16:29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me.

Numbers 16:30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.

Numbers 16:31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:

Numbers 16:32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.

Numbers 16:33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

Numbers 16:34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.

Numbers 16:35 And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

In verses 13+14 the people were complaining after being brought out of captivity, and making accusations unto Moses. In verse 15 Moses is upset and asked the Lord for judgment on sin. The Lord answers him because of the sin. So as we read 16-35 we see the answer and what happens. Our Lord is very longsuffering and then when enough is enough he will make himself known, and the sinner will then experience the wrath of the MIGHTY GOD!!!

LOVE LIFTED ME

I was sinking deep in sin, far from the peaceful shore,

Very deeply stained within, sinking to rise no more,

But the Master of the sea, heard my despairing cry,

From the waters lifted me, now safe am I.

Love lifted me! Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help

Love lifted me!

All my heart to Him I give, ever to Him I’ll cling

In His blessèd presence live, ever His praises sing,

Love so mighty and so true, merits my soul’s best songs,

Faithful, loving service too, to Him belongs.

Love lifted me! Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help

Love lifted me!

Souls in danger look above, Jesus completely saves,

He will lift you by His love, out of the angry waves.

He’s the Master of the sea, billows His will obey,

He your Savior wants to be, be saved today.

Love lifted me! Love lifted me!

When nothing else could help

Love lifted me!

REVIVE US AGAIN

We praise Thee, O God!

For the Son of Thy love,

For Jesus Who died,

And is now gone above.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.

Hallelujah! Amen.

Hallelujah! Thine the glory.

Revive us again.

We praise Thee, O God!

For Thy Spirit of light,

Who hath shown us our Savior,

And scattered our night.

All glory and praise

To the Lamb that was slain,

Who hath borne all our sins,

And hath cleansed every stain.

All glory and praise

To the God of all grace,

Who hast brought us, and sought us,

And guided our ways. Revive us again;

Fill each heart with Thy love;

May each soul be rekindled

With fire from above.

PRAYER AND PROMISE

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! A Promise & A Prayer

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

Romans 4:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;

Romans 4:21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Romans 4:22 And therefore it was imputed to him for righteousness.

Our Precious Lord promises us many promises, and all he does vow unto us he keeps. Nothing he promises is impossible for him. Becareful because the ones of punishment he will also keep. He is merciful, longsuffering, his ways are not our ways. Look at his wonderful promises and yet look at how we neglect him. What can we start doing better? How can we serve him better? How can we be a better Child to Our Father? Make a list of much needed improvements and start cleaning TODAY!!!

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

John 11:41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank thee that thou hast heard me.

John 11:42 And I knew that thou hearest me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that thou hast sent me.

John 11:43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

John 11:44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go. (answered).

Here we see where as Jesus came back to the town of Bethany where some of his beloved friends were. Martha came and met him and told him, "Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died". Jesus told her your brother will rise again. He prayed unto the father, and called out to Lazarus to come outof his tomb. After three days, to the surprise of his sisters and others, he did come out, and was fine. This is another picture of Christ's resurrection.

God is There

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! We Limit God!!!

How and why do we limit God? Often times such as in Ezekiel 1:1-20 Ezekiel's hearers were convinced that God had abandoned them. They believed they were defeated and alone. God was in the holy of holies, the central part of the Temple, not here in the midst of the city whose name stands for sin. The people were hopeless, helpless, and empty. They felt cut off from God and had no sense of His presence.The images that Ezekiel saw: creatures with parts of many animals, clouds, storms with lightning these images spoke a distinct message to the Hebrews in exile with Ezekiel. They were familiar images that symbolized the presence and glory of God.

To the exiles, what was odd about Ezekiel’s vision was not the images he used but he saw these images in Babylon not in Jerusalem. The wheel within a wheel was the way God revealed to Ezekiel His ability to move anywhere. He wasn’t limited by the geographic boundaries of Judah. He wasn’t prohibited in coming to His people by the sin and disbelief of the Babylonians. He wasn’t even hindered by the limited beliefs of the Hebrews who never expected to see Him there.

Ezekiel’s images told the exiles: "God is here! He is with us! He isn’t just the God of the Temple or Jerusalem or a small area of Palestine. He is the King of the universe and the Lord of creation. He is everywhere."

Imagine how narrow or limiting those Hebrews must have been. Imagine thinking God was shut up in the Temple. How could they have limited Him by stone walls or geography? What a pitiful understanding of God they had.

We get like that in our lives, and even in scripture when the Lord (who can't lie) promises not to leave us, we believe he has. So we give up, sit in our feel sorry for me chair and do nothing. We start to think God is just with the "Good People", with Pastors, in the Baptists Churches, in the Fancy Churches singing Hymns, he isn't here in my home listening to me.

Those methods of limiting God are obvious. However, another way we limit is when when we describe him being in our heart. It’s when we say, "He’s Lord of my heart." Don’t let that surprise you, but the greatest limitation we place on God is when we say, "He is Lord of my heart." What we need to say is that He is my Lord. He is in control of my life. He is not just in our heart he is in our life, and should be allowed Lord over our entire life.

Let me describe for you what often happens when we think of Him as "Lord of my heart." Our faith can become a small, little thing that fits into a cavity inside our chest. And that’s where it stays, inside us. We begin to talk about how it’s private, how it’s internal. Next we might decide we should keep it to ourselves. So often and I have many in my family that say "Cheryl it is such a personal thing you have no right to talk openly to people about such a intimate thing". How sad when we can't talk about he who spilled his PRECIOUS BLOOD FOR OUR SINS; WE MAY OFFEND SOMEONE. Or we say to our children, "God lives in our hearts." And they grow up thinking He doesn’t live anywhere else. Often they fail to know He is also the King of Creation and the Lord of their life.

Do you see the importance of understanding fully the lordship of Christ? He won’t have much impact on this world if He is God only on Sunday. If He is the Lord of only the Building we worship in. He doesn’t have much to do with the workplace or marketplace or any other place. If He is only alive in my heart, when will those around me see Him at work in real life?

WE NEED TO BE REMEMBER TO KEEP HIM WITH US WHEREVER WE GO. WE NEVER SHOULD BE EMBARRASSED TO TALK OF HIM. OUR LOVE FOR HIM NEEDS TO OPEN, AND SHARED. HE IS EVERYWHERE NOT LEFT IN A BUILDING NOT JUST IN OUR HEART, NOT IN OUR BIBLE SO WHEN WE CLOSE IT HE IS CLOSED UP INSIDE.

Ezekiel 1:1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

Ezekiel 1:2 In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,

Ezekiel 1:3 The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.

Ezekiel 1:4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire infolding itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

Ezekiel 1:5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.

Ezekiel 1:6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.

Ezekiel 1:7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.

Ezekiel 1:8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.

Ezekiel 1:9 Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.

Ezekiel 1:10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

Ezekiel 1:11 Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.

Ezekiel 1:12 And they went every one straight forward: whither the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.

Ezekiel 1:13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

Ezekiel 1:14 And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.

Ezekiel 1:15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.

Ezekiel 1:16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

Ezekiel 1:17 When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.

Ezekiel 1:18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.

Ezekiel 1:19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

Ezekiel 1:20 Whithersoever the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

Ezekiel 1:21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up over against them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

Psalm 139:7 Whither shall I go from thy spirit? or whither shall I flee from thy presence?

Psalm 139:8 If I ascend up into heaven, thou art there: if I make my bed in hell, behold, thou art there.

Psalm 139:9 If I take the wings of the morning, and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea;

Psalm 139:10 Even there shall thy hand lead me, and thy right hand shall hold me.

Psalm 139:11 If I say, Surely the darkness shall cover me; even the night shall be light about me.

Psalm 139:12 Yea, the darkness hideth not from thee; but the night shineth as the day: the darkness and the light are both alike to thee.

Psalm 139:13 For thou hast possessed my reins: thou hast covered me in my mother's womb.

Psalm 139:14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.

1John 3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.

1John 3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.

1John 3:24 And he that keepeth his commandments dwelleth in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abideth in us, by the Spirit which he hath given us.

Joshua 1:9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.

IN THE GARDEN

I come to the garden alone,

While the dew is still on the roses,

And the voice I hear falling on my ear

The Son of God discloses.

And He walks with me, and He talks with me,

And He tells me I am His own;

And the joy we share as we tarry there,

None other has ever known.

He speaks, and the sound of His voice

Is so sweet the birds hush their singing,

And the melody that He gave to me

Within my heart is ringing.

I’d stay in the garden with Him,

Though the night around me be falling,

But He bids me go; through the voice of woe

His voice to me is calling.

WHERE HE LEADS ME I WILL FOLLOW

I can hear my Savior calling,

I can hear my Savior calling,

I can hear my Savior calling,

“Take thy cross and follow, follow Me.”

Where He leads me I will follow,

Where He leads me I will follow,

Where He leads me I will follow;

I’ll go with Him, with Him, all the way.

I’ll go with Him through the garden,

I’ll go with Him through the garden,

I’ll go with Him through the garden,

I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.

Where He leads me I will follow,

Where He leads me I will follow,

Where He leads me I will follow;

I’ll go with Him, with Him, all the way.

I’ll go with Him through the judgment,

I’ll go with Him through the judgment,

I’ll go with Him through the judgment,

I’ll go with Him, with Him all the way.

Where He leads me I will follow,

Where He leads me I will follow,

Where He leads me I will follow;

I’ll go with Him, with Him, all the way.

He will give me grace and glory,

He will give me grace and glory,

He will give me grace and glory,

And go with me, with me all the way.

Where He leads me I will follow,

Where He leads me I will follow,

Where He leads me I will follow;

I’ll go with Him, with Him, all the way.

PROMISE AND PRAYER

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! A Promise & A Prayer!!!

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

Malachi 3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Hebrews 13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.

It is truly a blessing to know our Precious Lord never changes. he is always the same. Have you ever dealt with someone a co-worker, friend, spouse whom you never knew how they were going to be whenever you walked through the door? It is frustrating, and exhausting. With our perfect, and holy Father he is always the same, and that is such a BEAUTIFUL PROMISE....He maybe upset with us on something but when we are wrong just as a parent punish his child he will correct us. Love You Lord!!!!!

A PRECIOUS PRAYER;

Jeremiah 1:1 The words of Jeremiah the son of Hilkiah, of the priests that were in Anathoth in the land of Benjamin:

Jeremiah 1:2 To whom the word of the LORD came in the days of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, in the thirteenth year of his reign.

Jeremiah 1:3 It came also in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the end of the eleventh year of Zedekiah the son of Josiah king of Judah, unto the carrying away of Jerusalem captive in the fifth month.

Jeremiah 1:4 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

Jeremiah 1:6 Then said I, Ah, Lord GOD! behold, I cannot speak: for I am a child.

Jeremiah 1:7 But the LORD said unto me, Say not, I am a child: for thou shalt go to all that I shall send thee, and whatsoever I command thee thou shalt speak.

Jeremiah 1:8 Be not afraid of their faces: for I am with thee to deliver thee, saith the LORD.

Jeremiah 1:9 Then the LORD put forth his hand, and touched my mouth. And the LORD said unto me, Behold, I have put my words in thy mouth.

Jeremiah 1:10 See, I have this day set thee over the nations and over the kingdoms, to root out, and to pull down, and to destroy, and to throw down, to build, and to plant.

Jeremiah 1:11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Jeremiah, what seest thou? And I said, I see a rod of an almond tree.

Jeremiah 1:12 Then said the LORD unto me, Thou hast well seen: for I will hasten my word to perform it.

Jeremiah 1:13 And the word of the LORD came unto me the second time, saying, What seest thou? And I said, I see a seething pot; and the face thereof is toward the north.

Jeremiah 1:14 Then the LORD said unto me, Out of the north an evil shall break forth upon all the inhabitants of the land.

Jeremiah 1:15 For, lo, I will call all the families of the kingdoms of the north, saith the LORD; and they shall come, and they shall set every one his throne at the entering of the gates of Jerusalem, and against all the walls thereof round about, and against all the cities of Judah.

Jeremiah 1:16 And I will utter my judgments against them touching all their wickedness, who have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, and worshipped the works of their own hands.

Jeremiah 1:17 Thou therefore gird up thy loins, and arise, and speak unto them all that I command thee: be not dismayed at their faces, lest I confound thee before them.

Jeremiah 1:18 For, behold, I have made thee this day a defenced city, and an iron pillar, and brasen walls against the whole land, against the kings of Judah, against the princes thereof, against the priests thereof, and against the people of the land.

Jeremiah 1:19 And they shall fight against thee; but they shall not prevail against thee; for I am with thee, saith the LORD, to deliver thee.

This chapter in Jeremiah, the LORD and Jeremiah are having a discussion. Jeremiah is questioning God about being a Prophet, and things he can't do as being a child. The LORD tells him don't say "I am but a child". It is a very good chapter, although all the chapters are very good. The LORD is telling Jeremiah what he has done and will do.

ALL HAIL THE POWER OF HIS NAMES

All hail the power of Jesus’ Name! Let angels prostrate fall;

Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown Him Lord of all.

Bring forth the royal diadem, and crown Him Lord of all.

Let highborn seraphs tune the lyre, and as they tune it, fall

Before His face Who tunes their choir, and crown Him Lord of all.

Before His face Who tunes their choir, and crown Him Lord of all.

Crown Him, ye morning stars of light, who fixed this floating ball;

Now hail the strength of Israel’s might, and crown Him Lord of all.

Now hail the strength of Israel’s might, and crown Him Lord of all.

Crown Him, ye martyrs of your God, who from His altar call;

Extol the Stem of Jesse’s Rod, and crown Him Lord of all.

Extol the Stem of Jesse’s Rod, and crown Him Lord of all.

Ye seed of Israel’s chosen race, ye ransomed from the fall,

Hail Him Who saves you by His grace, and crown Him Lord of all.

Hail Him Who saves you by His grace, and crown Him Lord of all.

Hail Him, ye heirs of David’s line, whom David Lord did call,

The God incarnate, Man divine, and crown Him Lord of all,

The God incarnate, Man divine, and crown Him Lord of all.

Sinners, whose love can ne’er forget the wormwood and the gall,

Go spread your trophies at His feet, and crown Him Lord of all.

Go spread your trophies at His feet, and crown Him Lord of all.

Let every tribe and every tongue before Him prostrate fall

And shout in universal song the crownèd Lord of all.

And shout in universal song the crownèd Lord of all.

FINAL ON TEN COMMANDMENTS

Posted by Cheryl on July 28, 2015 at 9:15 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! Have You Broke One Commandment?

Over The Last Ten Days We Talked About The Ten Commandments, Actually When The Law was Given There Was Many More Than Ten. After Looking, and reading these Ten Commandments how many have we broken? As I stated a couple times if we broke one we broke them all (I didn't make that rule our Precious Father did). I have had many people over time tell me "I have never broke the Ten Commandments" and I say this as kindly as I can; you are a liar. The only one able to keep them is Jesus himself.

Look at the first one how many of us treat our bank accounts, our pets, our children, more like a god than we do the true living God as God? How many of us are more willing to talk about our new home, new car, our childs sports records than we are about what our Lord has done and continues to do daily for us?

1. Exodus 20:3 Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

Number two, how many graven images do we see in front lawns in the front of churches. How many people will invest in graven images of Mary and worship it when we are told not to worship anyone but Jesus. Not only are we breaking one commandment by doing this but two commandments. However not just graven images of Mary but Jesus, "Saints that Churches have picked (by the way a saint is someone who has become born again) by the Catholic Church. This commandment can't be any more clear, and yet people so blatantly disobey our Lord God and basically laugh in his face.

2. Exodus 20:4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth:

Exodus 20:5 Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

The third one I believe we have become so numb to this one people don't even realize they are even doing it anymore. How often do we hear adults and children say "Oh My God" now they have shortened it because we are that lazy so now it is "OMG". Then you have the very old one when people get mad and I remember being very young wondering why when people get mad they yell at God the G...D...I remember asking my Dad one time why does Mom get so mad at God when she is upset. Dad told me "Cheryl it is very bad to say but many people do say that". This isn't limited to the Lost many Christians are guilty of this, he came here paid our sin debt in full but he is the first one we lash out at. Remember it is not just the swearing it is the vain usage of his name.

3. Exodus 20:7 Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Number four the Sabbath, I am not saying we can't wash the dishes, drive our car. However this day we usually look at is Sunday to keep it a day for the Lord, and family. How wonderful to have one day set aside for him. To have a day to maybe read extra pray extra. Shut off the television. Why any one of us bother to put on the television anymore I don't know but that's for another time. Consider it if all the Christians took Sunday set itside for pray, going to fellowship, reading what a difference we could make.

4. Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Number five honor our parents this one goes in stages. When we are real little we panic if Mommy, and Daddy are out of our sight. Then we do ok if we have friends to play with but we still like to know Mommy and Daddy are there. Then the Teen years, my parents (I have to say I never did this with my Dad), Just drop me at the door please don't walk me inside. OH my parents are so embarrassing. Then we get to our late twenties we start to like them all over again. Then Mom and Dad are getting sickly, we may lose them oh no I am not ready for that.

We are told to honor our parents no matter what, the Lord puts no buts in there. Some parents are not so good and the Lord doesn't excuse them. I am sure they will answer for any abuse or neglect but we are still to honor them and that is very difficult. This is one I have broken My Mom was very abusive when I was younger I had some very horrible thoughts towards her. The world would have said "You had many good reasons" The Lord would not have said that. If your parents are still here go see them, visit, take them a meal, do somethuing with them that they would like to do.

5. Exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Number six, this one is so repeated I have never killed anybody. Well how many times have we said I hate that person? I hate that child molester, that Doctor who performs abortions. I hate that drunk driver who killed that young couple. I hate that Satantist who talked my child into his cult. I believe all of us at one time have said them words. If you are someone who didn't that is awesome. However the Lord tells us if we say we hate it is the same as killing. We can't put our mind around the Lord's thinking but knowing what he says about things then we know how we must do things or not do things.

6.Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

Number seven this is another one people get all proud and say "I have never cheated on my spouse", have you ever looked upon someone with lust in your heart? If we look upon someone with lust in our heart we have already committed adultery. People get very upset when you tell them that, I even had someone tell me "well next time I am just going to do it if I am already guilty, I might as well enjoy myself". That's such a good attitude to have.

7.Exodus 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Number eight, stealing this one is another one how people think about stealing people have no idea what stealing is. Some people truly believe stealing really isn't stealing until you get up in the over $10.00 limit if they see a five dollar bill on your table. if they see a good pen somewhere. If their child takes their friend's toy and feel well they like it, and "I am sure the friend has taken toys". Thou shalt not steal means DON'T STEAL no exceptions no price limit, no toys, NOTHING

8.Exodus 20:15 Thou shalt not steal.

Number nine this one is "SORRY" big in the ladies department. We get upset with someone and it is so easy to go and talk down about it. It maybe has some small truth to it but we enhance it so much that this person is afraid to leave their home because we have caused so much embarrassment, and pain. Some people have taken this to the level of accusations of rape, harming a child, stealing. This makes me angry because this stuff really happens and so hard to fight in court then you get a horrible individual lying about it and the court system starts to look at each case that way. Then the ones that NEED PUNISHMENT don't get punishment. This also happens alot in child custody cases which is also VERY SAD.

9.Exodus 20:16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

The tenth and last one is one that many of us have issues with, but so many say "I have never broke any of the commandments", we want what others have. Some people are so discontented so everything we see we think "now that will make me happy". Some people get so jealous, and envious we stop talking to people because they have something we want. Some people will go in debt to get what our neighbor has. We need to keep in mind our life here is as a vapor and then eternity. We need to be concerned for the things for eternity and not what we can have now.

10.Exodus 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

So just wondering how many can say they have never broke any of these commandments? I in embarrassment have to say I am guilty of all. Some may say why all, well if we one we do break all this is what the Lord tells us. Even so I didn't keep all of them anyway except number two.

James 2:10 For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all.

James 2:11 For he that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.

Do you understand why we even more now to be Thank ful to the Lord for paying our sin debt in full. If we still had to live under the law how many of us would have made it to Heaven? Do you see now How Much The Father Loved us his children? Do you see why when people say "Why does God allow this, or that why we need to stand up and say, "you don't know my God". Why we need to stand up when people say "I have kept the Ten Commandments", nobody has kept the Ten Commandments. If they insist go through the list.

Take time to pray today not a few minutes but some real time, and thank our Precious Savior for what he did for us. He so graciously, lovingly went to the Cross paid our sin debt in full. Without that would any of us really seen Heaven. Pray for the lost in your life.

Exodus 20:20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.

Exodus 20:21 And the people stood afar off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

Exodus 20:22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus thou shalt say unto the children of Israel, Ye have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

Exodus 20:23 Ye shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall ye make unto you gods of gold.

2John 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

2John 1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.

2John 1:8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.

2John 1:9 Whosoever transgresseth, and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

2John 1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:

2John 1:11 For he that biddeth him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.

2John 1:12 Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.

2Corinthians 10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

2Corinthians 10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

2Corinthians 10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

2Corinthians 10:6 And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

2Corinthians 10:7 Do ye look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's.

THERE SHALL BE SHOWERS OF BLESSINGS

There shall be showers of blessing:

This is the promise of love;

There shall be seasons refreshing,

Sent from the Savior above.

Showers of blessing,

Showers of blessing we need;

Mercy-drops round us are falling,

But for the showers we plead.

There shall be showers of blessing—

Precious reviving again;

Over the hills and the valleys,

Sound of abundance of rain.

There shall be showers of blessing;

Send them upon us, O Lord!

Grant to us now a refreshing;

Come, and now honor Thy Word.

There shall be showers of blessing;

O that today they might fall,

Now as to God we’re confessing,

Now as on Jesus we call!

There shall be showers of blessing,

If we but trust and obey;

There shall be seasons refreshing,

If we let God have His way.

I WOULD BE TRUE

I would be true, for there are those who trust me;

I would be pure, for there are those who care;

I would be strong, for there is much to suffer;

I would be brave, for there is much to dare;

I would be brave, for there is much to dare.

I would be friend of all—the foe, the friendless;

I would be giving, and forget the gift;

I would be humble, for I know my weakness;

I would look up, and laugh, and love and lift.

I would look up, and laugh, and love and lift.

I would be faithful through each passing moment;

I would be constantly in touch with God;

I would be strong to follow where He leads me;

I would have faith to keep the path Christ trod;

I would have faith to keep the path Christ trod.

Who is so low that I am not his brother?

Who is so high that I’ve no path to him?

Who is so poor, that I may not feel his hunger?

Who is so rich I may not pity him?

Who is so rich I may not pity him?

Who is so hurt I may not know his heartache?

Who sings for joy my heart may never share?

Who in God’s heaven has passed beyond my vision?

Who to Hell’s depths where I may never fare?

Who to Hell’s depths where I may never fare?

May none, then, call on me for understanding,

May none, then, turn to me for help in pain,

And drain alone his bitter cup of sorrow,

Or find he knocks upon my heart in vain.

Or find he knocks upon my heart in vain.

The Tenth Commandment

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Week!!! The Tenth Commandment!!!

The Last Commandment (actually there are many more), Is A Problem For So Many And Many Will Deny It In A HeartBeat; The Tenth Commandment is :

Exodus 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

How often do we hear people say wow look at the new car they just got, I got to get myself one of those. Look at Mary her husband does everything he works so hard at his job comes home, helps with dinner, and then gives the kids a bath, I can't get my husband off the couch. Then we have the husbands say look at Bill his wife keeps their house spotless, the kids spotless, has company over and never complains about anything my wife does nothing and complains about everything. In this U.S.A we always want what everyone else has, and yet we are never content.

The Lord tells us envy and jealousy are wrong and not to get caught up in them. If we are doing it with other wives and husbands this surely will hurt our marriages. If we do it with things we will never be content, because everytime we see something new we will again not be content. The Lord gives us so much, more than anyone of us deserves when we are not content it is like telling him "not good enough Lord". How do we feel as parents when we do something really nice for our children and they come back and say "well Susie's parents bought her a brand new car so I am not very happy with your lame gift". Very hurtful, and nasty.

Exodus 20:17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour's.

NEXT TIME YOUR UNGRATEFUL THINK ABOUT WHAT OTHERS DON'T HAVE THAT YOU DO HAVE. NEXT TIME YOU ARE UNGRATEFUL THINK ABOUT YOUR ETERNITY HOME WITH THE SAVIOR, AND HOW MANY WILL BE IN HELL. THINK OF THE THINGS BURING UP THAT YOU WANT AND DON'T HAVE AND IN ETERNITY NONE OF IT WILL MATTER.....

James 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

James 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

James 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Proverbs 14:29 He that is slow to wrath is of great understanding: but he that is hasty of spirit exalteth folly.

Proverbs 14:30 A sound heart is the life of the flesh: but envy the rottenness of the bones.

Song of Solomon 8:5 Who is this that cometh up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? I raised thee up under the apple tree: there thy mother brought thee forth: there she brought thee forth that bare thee.

Song of Solomon 8:6 Set me as a seal upon thine heart, as a seal upon thine arm: for love is strong as death; jealousy is cruel as the grave: the coals thereof are coals of fire, which hath a most vehement flame.

Song of Solomon 8:7 Many waters cannot quench love, neither can the floods drown it: if a man would give all the substance of his house for love, it would utterly be contemned.

Galations 5:19 Now the works of the flesh are manifest, which are these; Adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lasciviousness,

Galations 5:20 Idolatry, witchcraft, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife, seditions, heresies,

Galations 5:21 Envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, and such like: of the which I tell you before, as I have also told you in time past, that they which do such things shall not inherit the kingdom of God.

Galations 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,

Galations 5:23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.

Galations 5:24 And they that are Christ's have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.

Galations 5:25 If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit.

Galations 5:26 Let us not be desirous of vain glory, provoking one another, envying one another.

1Timothy 6:4 He is proud, knowing nothing, but doting about questions and strifes of words, whereof cometh envy, strife, railings, evil surmisings,

1Timothy 6:5 Perverse disputings of men of corrupt minds, and destitute of the truth, supposing that gain is godliness: from such withdraw thyself.

1Timothy 6:6 But godliness with contentment is great gain.

Cheryl

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed,

When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,

Count your many blessings, name them one by one,

And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Count your blessings, name them one by one,

Count your blessings, see what God hath done!

Count your blessings, name them one by one,

And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Are you ever burdened with a load of care?

Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?

Count your many blessings, every doubt will fly,

And you will keep singing as the days go by.

Count your blessings, name them one by one,

Count your blessings, see what God hath done!

Count your blessings, name them one by one,

And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

When you look at others with their lands and gold,

Think that Christ has promised you His wealth untold;

Count your many blessings. Wealth can never buy

Your reward in heaven, nor your home on high.

Count your blessings, name them one by one,

Count your blessings, see what God hath done!

Count your blessings, name them one by one,

And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

So, amid the conflict whether great or small,

Do not be disheartened, God is over all;

Count your many blessings, angels will attend,

Help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.

Count your blessings, name them one by one,

Count your blessings, see what God hath done!

Count your blessings, name them one by one,

And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

THANK YOU LORD

Some thank the Lord for friends and home

For mercies sure and sweet

But I would praise Him for his grace

In prayer I would repeat

Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul

Thank you, Lord, for making me whole

Thank you, Lord, for giving to me

Thy great salvation so rich and free

Some thank Him for the flow’rs that grow

Some for the stars that shine

My heart is filled with joy and praise

Because I know He’s mine

I trust in Him from day to day

I prove His saving grace

I’ll sing this song of praise to Him

Until I see His face

Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul

Thank you, Lord, for making me whole

Thank you, Lord, for giving to me

Thy great salvation so rich and free

COME YE THANKFUL PEOPLE

Come, ye thankful people, come, raise the song of harvest home;

All is safely gathered in, ere the winter storms begin.

God our Maker doth provide for our wants to be supplied;

Come to God’s own temple, come, raise the song of harvest home.

All the world is God’s own field, fruit unto His praise to yield;

Wheat and tares together sown unto joy or sorrow grown.

First the blade and then the ear, then the full corn shall appear;

Lord of harvest, grant that we wholesome grain and pure may be.

For the Lord our God shall come, and shall take His harvest home;

From His field shall in that day all offenses purge away,

Giving angels charge at last in the fire the tares to cast;

But the fruitful ears to store in His garner evermore.

Even so, Lord, quickly come, bring Thy final harvest home;

Gather Thou Thy people in, free from sorrow, free from sin,

There, forever purified, in Thy garner to abide;

Come, with all Thine angels come, raise the glorious harvest home.

The Seventh Commandment

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! The Seventh Commandment!!!

We In America Have Totally Mocked God On The Seventh Commandment, We Look Around In This Country And See No Shame In The Adultrey, And Fornication Department; People should be grateful for the longsuffering of the mighty God. America is such a joke with this next commandment:

Exodus 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

The traditional marriage no longer exists. We have the following marriages:

Same Sex Marriage (totally against God).

Unequally yoked (saved and unsaved)

Open Marriage (can both have other partners)

Until Bored (Neither spouse has taken it seriously)Some Have been divorced 5,6,7,8 times.

Adultery is something that causes heartache, hurts all involved including the children no matter what the ages. Most often the children become pawns. Our Lord when he designed marriage between a MAN and A WOMAN it was meant for as long as they live. It was meant to produce children, not to decide "I don't want any" one thing if you can't have any. It wasn't designed to share each other with other adults. It was meant to love one another:

Ephesians 5:21 Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.

Ephesians 5:22 Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.

Ephesians 5:23 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.

Ephesians 5:24 Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Ephesians 5:25 Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;

Ephesians 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,

Ephesians 5:27 That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.

Ephesians 5:28 So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself.

Ephesians 5:29 For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:

So if we love each other as the Lord told us do and obey as we are told too, adultrey would never be an option, because that cause heatache and pain. When we are saved, a child of God we are not to be as the world and this would be something they have no problem doing.

Another Point to make that upsets most people; when we look upon someone with lust in our heart we have already committed adultrey. We need to keep our hearts, and minds in check. Remember if it is in our hearts it will come out.

Exodus 20:14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

Proverbs 6:32 But whoso committeth adultery with a woman lacketh understanding: he that doeth it destroyeth his own soul.

Proverbs 6:33 A wound and dishonour shall he get; and his reproach shall not be wiped away.

Proverbs 6:34 For jealousy is the rage of a man: therefore he will not spare in the day of vengeance.

Matthew 5:27 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not commit adultery:

Matthew 5:28 But I say unto you, That whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.

Matthew 5:29 And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Hebrews 13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers and adulterers God will judge.

Matthew 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

Matthew 19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, committeth adultery: and whoso marrieth her which is put away doth commit adultery.

Luke 16:18 Whosoever putteth away his wife, and marrieth another, committeth adultery: and whosoever marrieth her that is put away from her husband committeth adultery.

1Corinthians 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.

Mark 10:11 And he saith unto them, Whosoever shall put away his wife, and marry another, committeth adultery against her.

Mark 10:12 And if a woman shall put away her husband, and be married to another, she committeth adultery.

MORE LIKE THE MASTER

More like the Master I would ever be,

More of His meekness, more humility;

More zeal to labor, more courage to be true,

More consecration for work He bids me do.

Take Thou my heart, I would be Thine alone;

Take Thou my heart, and make it all Thine own;

Purge me from sin, O Lord, I now implore,

Wash me and keep me Thine forevermore.

More like the Master is my daily prayer;

More strength to carry crosses I must bear;

More earnest effort to bring His kingdom in;

More of His Spirit, the wanderer to win.

More like the Master I would live and grow;

More of His love to others I would show;

More self-denial, like His in Galilee,

More like the Master I long to ever be.

MORE ABOUT JESUS

More about Jesus would I know,

More of His grace to others show;

More of His saving fullness see,

More of His love Who died for me.

More, more about Jesus,

More, more about Jesus;

More of His saving fullness see,

More of His love Who died for me.

More about Jesus let me learn,

More of His holy will discern;

Spirit of God, my teacher be,

Showing the things of Christ to me.

More, more about Jesus,

More, more about Jesus;

More of His saving fullness see,

More of His love Who died for me.

More about Jesus; in His Word,

Holding communion with my Lord;

Hearing His voice in every line,

Making each faithful saying mine.

More, more about Jesus,

More, more about Jesus;

More of His saving fullness see,

More of His love Who died for me.

More about Jesus; on His throne,

Riches in glory all His own;

More of His kingdom’s sure increase;

More of His coming, Prince of Peace.

More, more about Jesus,

More, more about Jesus;

More of His saving fullness see,

More of His love Who died for me.

THE SIXTH COMMANDMENT

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! The Sixth Commandment!!!

How Many Of Us Have Been So Angry With Another; That We Have Said The Words "When I Get My Hands On Him I Am Going To Kill Him"; In the word of God to say this is as we have killed them in our heart. The sixth commandment is:

Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

We are such sinful people and our hearts are so wicked we don't even realize what we are truly saying with our horrible tongues. Then when we try to explain what these statements mean to the lost, and some saved; they look at us like we have two heads and eight eyes. Remember the Lord wrote these Commandments, gave them to us, we are here for him, and his thoughts are bigger than ours. So when we say "No that is not what that means", remember the author is not you, not your Pastor, not your spouse. The author is the mighty God, the creator, he who parted the Read Sea, and gave us life. He can write what he chooses, he can do what ever he wants we belong to him. Think about how it truly sounds when we do say "I hate" "I am going to Kill", it really does sound awful, and we really souldn't be saying them words.

We get very angry (or we should get angry at the evil in this world) and yet how easy is it for some of us to hate our own brethren. We need to wake up and look at the things the Lord tells us not to do and stop doing them. We don't live under the law, we live under grace. However that doesn't give us a free ticket to live how ever we want to. Let's pray look at our hearts and ask the Lord to cleanse our hearts today.

Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

We are on number six looking at it from the Lord's definition (he is the one that counts) how are we doing with keeping all of the above?

THOU SHALT HAVE NO OTHER GODS BEFORE ME.

THOU SHALL BRING NO FALSE IDOLS BEFORE ME.

DO NOT TAKE THE NAME OF THE LORD IN VAIN.

HONOR THY FATHER AND MOTHER.

THOU SHALT NOT KILL.

Now also remember if we break one commandment we are guilty of all. So how are we doing?

Exodus 20:13 Thou shalt not kill.

Matthew 5:21 Ye have heard that it was said by them of old time, Thou shalt not kill; and whosoever shall kill shall be in danger of the judgment:

Matthew 5:22 But I say unto you, That whosoever is angry with his brother without a cause shall be in danger of the judgment: and whosoever shall say to his brother, Raca, shall be in danger of the council: but whosoever shall say, Thou fool, shall be in danger of hell fire.

1John 3:15 Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.

1John 3:16 Hereby perceive we the love of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.

1Samuel 16:7 But the LORD said unto Samuel, Look not on his countenance, or on the height of his stature; because I have refused him: for the LORD seeth not as man seeth; for man looketh on the outward appearance, but the LORD looketh on the heart.

Romans 13:4 For he is the minister of God to thee for good. But if thou do that which is evil, be afraid; for he beareth not the sword in vain: for he is the minister of God, a revenger to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil.

Romans 13:5 Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

Matthew 15:18 But those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth from the heart; and they defile the man.

Matthew 15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

Matthew 15:20 These are the things which defile a man: but to eat with unwashen hands defileth not a man.

James 2:8 If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

James 2:9 But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced of the law as transgressors.

James 2:12 So speak ye, and so do, as they that shall be judged by the law of liberty.

James 2:13 For he shall have judgment without mercy, that hath shewed no mercy; and mercy rejoiceth against judgment.

WHEN LOVE SHINES IN

Jesus comes with pow’r to gladden,

When love shines in,

Every life that woe can sadden,

When love shines in.

Love will teach us how to pray,

Love will drive the gloom away,

Turn our darkness into day,

When love shines in.

When love shines in,

When love shines in,

How the heart is tuned to singing,

When love shines in;

When love shines in,

When love shines in,

Joy and peace to others bringing,

When love shines in.

How the world will grow with beauty,

When love shines in,

And the heart rejoice in duty,

When love shines in.

Trials may be sanctified,

And the soul in peace abide,

Life will all be glorified,

When love shines in.

When love shines in,

When love shines in,

How the heart is tuned to singing,

When love shines in;

When love shines in,

When love shines in,

Joy and peace to others bringing,

When love shines in.

Darkest sorrow will grow brighter,

When love shines in,

And the heaviest burden lighter,

When love shines in.

’Tis the glory that will throw

Light to show us where to go;

Oh, the heart shall blessing know,

When love shines in.

When love shines in,

When love shines in,

How the heart is tuned to singing,

When love shines in;

When love shines in,

When love shines in,

Joy and peace to others bringing,

When love shines in.

We may have unfading splendor,

When love shines in,

And a friendship true and tender,

When love shines in.

When earth’s vict’ries shall be won,

And our life in Heav’n begun,

There will be no need of sun,

When love shines in.

When love shines in,

When love shines in,

How the heart is tuned to singing,

When love shines in;

When love shines in,

When love shines in,

Joy and peace to others bringing,

When love shines in.

LOVE DIVINE

Love divine, all loves excelling,

Joy of heaven to earth come down;

Fix in us thy humble dwelling;

All thy faithful mercies crown!

Jesus, Thou art all compassion,

Pure unbounded love Thou art;

Visit us with Thy salvation;

Enter every trembling heart.

Breathe, O breathe Thy loving Spirit,

Into every troubled breast!

Let us all in Thee inherit;

Let us find that second rest.

Take away our bent to sinning;

Alpha and Omega be;

End of faith, as its Beginning,

Set our hearts at liberty.

Come, Almighty to deliver,

Let us all Thy life receive;

Suddenly return and never,

Never more Thy temples leave.

Thee we would be always blessing,

Serve Thee as Thy hosts above,

Pray and praise Thee without ceasing,

Glory in Thy perfect love.

Finish, then, Thy new creation;

Pure and spotless let us be.

Let us see Thy great salvation

Perfectly restored in Thee;

Changed from glory into glory,

Till in heaven we take our place,

Till we cast our crowns before Thee,

Lost in wonder, love, and praise.

The Fourth Commandment

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day The Fourth Commandment!!!

In These Last Days We Don't See Any Respect For Father Or Mother, However Most Of It I Believe Has Develped From The Parents Being Buddies With Their Children And The I Don't Spank Or Punish My Children; My last couple years working at the school broke my heart for many reasons. One big reason was the relationship between the parents and children, it had become so sad. The Children had the upper hand and when they spoke the parents jumped, and no adult in that building had better disciplined that "innocent" child. The Fourth Commandment is:

Exodus 20:12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

A child will do what they are taught, and allowed to do. If you allow your two year old to scream back at you that is what they will do until they are trained not to it. If you never teach them any different thats what they will believe is normal. If they hear Mom and Dad call each other names they will believe that is normal and do the same. If we as adults call Grandma and Grandpa names, mock them because they are old, and forgetful, thats how we will be treated when we are old.

When we read about Abraham, Moses, David as they grow old is there anywhere children, teenagers are saying "Hey old man"? Well our world thinks nothing of this type of disrespect and our Lord isn't laughing about it. When working in the school it was awful listening to the students talking to their parents some of the stuff I wouldn't even be able to repeat. I asked a Mom once why do you allow that I got two answers "well his Dad calls me that" and "he scares me" how sad for that mom but at the same time that should have been stopped before he was 2years old, and his Dad should have been a much better example.

Also us as adults need to be careful, many of us get careless how we treat older adults. I know it can get frustrating but we will all be there someday and how is it that you want others to treat you? How is it that the Lord wants the Seniors to be treated?

Honor Thy Father and Thy Mother not Dishonor!!!!

Colossians 3:20 Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.

Luke 14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife, and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot be my disciple.

Ephesians 6:1 Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

Ephesians 6:2 Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)

Ephesians 6:3 That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.

Deuteronomy 5:16 Honour thy father and thy mother, as the LORD thy God hath commanded thee; that thy days may be prolonged, and that it may go well with thee, in the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee.

Galations 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.

Galations 6:8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.

Galations 6:9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.

Proverbs 1:7 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.

Proverbs 1:8 My son, hear the instruction of thy father, and forsake not the law of thy mother:

Proverbs 1:9 For they shall be an ornament of grace unto thy head, and chains about thy neck.

John 3:36 He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.

A CHILD OF THE KING

My Father is rich in houses and lands,

He holdeth the wealth of the world in His hands!

Of rubies and diamonds, of silver and gold,

His coffers are full, He has riches untold.

I’m a child of the King,

A child of the King:

With Jesus my Savior,

I’m a child of the King.

My Father’s own Son, the Savior of men,

Once wandered on earth as the poorest of them;

But now He is pleading our pardon on high,

That we may be His when He comes by and by.

I’m a child of the King,

A child of the King:

With Jesus my Savior,

I’m a child of the King.

I once was an outcast stranger on earth,

A sinner by choice, an alien by birth,

But I’ve been adopted, my name’s written down,

An heir to a mansion, a robe and a crown.

I’m a child of the King,

A child of the King:

With Jesus my Savior,

I’m a child of the King.

A tent or a cottage, why should I care?

They’re building a palace for me over there;

Though exiled from home, yet still may I sing:

All glory to God, I’m a child of the King.

I’m a child of the King,

A child of the King:

With Jesus my Savior,

I’m a child of the King.

HOW GREAT THOU ART

Lord my God! When I in awesome wonder

Consider all the works thy hand hath made,

I see the stars, I hear the mighty thunder,

Thy power throughout the universe displayed;

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

When through the woods and forest glades I wander

and hear the birds sing sweetly in the trees;

when I look down from lofty mountain grandeur,

and hear the brook, and feel he gentle breeze;

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

And when I think that God his son not sparing,

Sent him to die - I scarce can take it in,

That on the cross my burden gladly bearing,

He bled and died to take away my sin:

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

When Christ shall come with shout of acclamation

And take me home- what joy shall fill my heart!

Then I shall bow in humble adoration

And there proclaim, my God, how great thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

Then sings my soul, my Saviour God, to Thee,

How great Thou art, how great Thou art!

THE FOURTH COMMANDMENT

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful & Blessed Day!!! The Fourth Commandment!!!

Those Of You From My Generation Reading This Most Likely Remember Stores, Resturants, Were Closed On Sundays People Went To Church Some Stayed At Church Had Lunch Together And Fellowship It Was A Day To Celebrate The Lord; In Exodus 20 we read the fourth commandment is the following:

Exodus 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

I remember it was unusal to hear of a Dad working on a Sunday. If You forgot to get milk on Saturday you went to the milk machine at the corner and bought some for Monday morning. Here in Exodus it tells us to keep it Holy, that has certainly gone out of this world not just for the sabbath but everyday of the week.

Why is it so hard to give one day to the Lord? Why can we not set one day aside and say today is your day, no television, no electronics, no reading material but your book. No toys, no fishing, hunting, shopping, eating out, just things that will make the Lord happy, things that please him. People will say too busy, I only have so much free time, I only get a couple hours a month with my kids. How about you take the Bible, a Hymnal, the Children, spouse go to a park walk, look at God's creation have a Bible study sing some hymns, and PRAY!!!!

I AM SURE GRATEFUL THE LORD DOESN'T TELL ME SORRY TOO BUSY NEED TIME ALONE, PLAYING VIDEO GAMES, HAVE TO GO SHOPPING, GOING TAKE THE HARLEY OUT TODAY. HE NEVER DOES THAT TO US BUT WE DO IT TO HIM DAILY.

Lets give him back the sabbath day, We can do without all the extra time for us, remember

we are here for him, lets glorify him, please him, teach the younger what we are suppose to

be doing. We are not to be as the world. It is not just to sit and do nothing it is to keep it holy,

a day for the Lord.

Exodus 20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Exodus 20:9 Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

Exodus 20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

Exodus 20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

Mark 2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

Mark 2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

Luke 23:56 And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.

Luke 4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read.

Isaiah 58:13 If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:

Ezekiel 20:12 Moreover also I gave them my sabbaths, to be a sign between me and them, that they might know that I am the LORD that sanctify them.

Ezekiel 20:13 But the house of Israel rebelled against me in the wilderness: they walked not in my statutes, and they despised my judgments, which if a man do, he shall even live in them; and my sabbaths they greatly polluted: then I said, I would pour out my fury upon them in the wilderness, to consume them.

Ezekiel 20:14 But I wrought for my name's sake, that it should not be polluted before the heathen, in whose sight I brought them out.

Ezekiel 20:15 Yet also I lifted up my hand unto them in the wilderness, that I would not bring them into the land which I had given them, flowing with milk and honey, which is the glory of all lands;

Ezekiel 20:16 Because they despised my judgments, and walked not in my statutes, but polluted my sabbaths: for their heart went after their idols.

I'LL LIVE FOR HIM

My life, my love I give to Thee,

Thou Lamb of God Who died for me;

O may I ever faithful be,

My Savior and my God!

I’ll live for Him Who died for me,

How happy then my life shall be!

I’ll live for Him Who died for me,

My Savior and my God!

I now believe Thou dost receive,

For Thou hast died that I might live;

And now henceforth I trust in Thee,

My Savior and my God!

I’ll live for Him Who died for me,

How happy then my life shall be!

I’ll live for Him Who died for me,

My Savior and my God!

O Thou Who died on Calvary,

To save my soul and make me free,

I’ll consecrate my life to Thee,

My Savior and my God!

I’ll live for Him Who died for me,

How happy then my life shall be!

I’ll live for Him Who died for me,

My Savior and my God!

TAKE MY LIFE AND LET IT BE

Take my life and let it be

Consecrated, Lord, to Thee.

*Take my moments and my days,

Let them flow in endless praise.

Take my hands and let them move

At the impulse of Thy love.

Take my feet and let them be

Swift and beautiful for Thee.

Take my voice and let me sing,

Always, only for my King.

Take my lips and let them be

Filled with messages from Thee.

Take my silver and my gold,

Not a mite would I withhold.

Take my intellect and use

Every pow’r as Thou shalt choose.

Take my will and make it Thine,

It shall be no longer mine.

Take my heart, it is Thine own,

It shall be Thy royal throne.

Take my love, my Lord, I pour

At Thy feet its treasure store.

Take myself and I will be

Ever, only, all for Thee.
