Surrender To Jesus

Posted by Cheryl on July 21, 2014 at 8:50 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!! Blessings; Required For Full Blessings:  The Lord Wants to bless us fully in so many ways. What do we need to do in order to enjoy in full the blessings the Lord has planned for us? One necessary condition for receiving His best: is full surrender unto the Lord consistenly. Every aspect of our being—body, soul, and spirit—is to be a living sacrifice. This may sound overwhelming, and difficult, but once we start doing this it will become normal routine. Contrary to human logic, true freedom is found only when we fully yield to Christ. Freedom comes when we give ourselves to the Lord, Bondage is when we are living for the world and our sin.

In the Old Testament, sacrifice was very common. To atone for sin, a person could bring a lamb to the altar. The animal was set apart for God’s purposes as a holy offering, and through its death, restitution was made.

When we give ourselves as a sacrifice, there is, thankfully, no need for our blood to be shed. Jesus died to atone for all our sin. But out of love and gratitude, every aspect of our lives should be dedicated to Him. When we give unto the Lord every aspect of our life unto him the Lord is pleased and we are free.

What does a surrendered life involve? Most importantly, it involves complete commitment to Christ, unaltered by the world’s influence, or by our sinful desires, and lack of faith. Our desires and old ways of functioning are no longer driving forces. Instead, His Spirit guides, and His will is the goal. Yielding to Him means following His way in attitude, words, thoughts, and deeds—doing so no matter how long it takes, this doesn't mean a hour and give up, a day and give up, a month and give up, we need to do all things in hios time and not panic when we are waiting longer than "WE" feel it should take, who are we next to the Lord? In doing so unapologetically, unwaveringly, fearlessly.

Our Lesson: You have a choice either be content (and don't complain when you aren't being blessed like you feel you maybe could be) with less than God’s best, or give yourself fully to Him. Complete surrender is not always an easy road; it means dying to our desires, and selfishness, our favorite sins. But remember that the Lord is willing and able to do more than we can even imagine. What should we choose?

Romans 12:1 I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.

Romans 12:2 And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

Romans 12:3 For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

Galations 2:19 For I through the law am dead to the law, that I might live unto God.

Galations 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

Galations 2:21 I do not frustrate the grace of God: for if righteousness come by the law, then Christ is dead in vain.

John 15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman.

John 15:2 Every branch in me that beareth not fruit he taketh away: and every branch that beareth fruit, he purgeth it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

John 15:3 Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.

John 15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me.

John 15:5 I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.

John 15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

John 15:7 If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

John 15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

John 15:9 As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love.

John 15:10 If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love.

John 15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

Love,

Cheryl

CLEANSE ME O GOD

Search me, O God,

And know my heart today;

Try me, O Savior,

Know my thoughts, I pray.

See if there be

Some wicked way in me;

Cleanse me from every sin

And set me free.

I praise Thee, Lord,

For cleansing me from sin;

Fulfill Thy Word,

And make me pure within.

Fill me with fire

Where once I burned with shame;

Grant my desire

To magnify Thy Name.

Lord, take my life,

And make it wholly Thine;

Fill my poor heart

With Thy great love divine.

Take all my will,

My passion, self and pride;

I now surrender, Lord

In me abide.

O Holy Ghost,

Revival comes from Thee;

Send a revival,

Start the work in me.

Thy Word declares

Thou wilt supply our need;

For blessings now,

O Lord, I humbly plead.

I SURRENDER ALL

All to Jesus, I surrender;

All to Him I freely give;

I will ever love and trust Him,

In His presence daily live.

I surrender all, I surrender all,

All to Thee, my blessèd Savior,

I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender;

Humbly at His feet I bow,

Worldly pleasures all forsaken;

Take me, Jesus, take me now.

All to Jesus, I surrender;

Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;

Let me feel the Holy Spirit,

Truly know that Thou art mine.

All to Jesus, I surrender;

Lord, I give myself to Thee;

Fill me with Thy love and power;

Let Thy blessing fall on me.

All to Jesus I surrender;

Now I feel the sacred flame.

O the joy of full salvation!

Glory, glory, to His Name!

PROMISE & PRAYER

Posted by Cheryl on July 19, 2014 at 8:30 AM Comments comments (1)

Good Morning****Have A Wonderful Saturday****A Precious Promise:

A PRECIOUS PROMISE

I have mentioned often how the false religions are not worshipping the same God as we Christians do. Well this verse is another example. Our Lord is Long-suffering. Our Lord would have none perish. He would rather all come to repentence that all would be in heaven and not hell. It is us as people that make the choice. The Lord has given us a free will, the Lord doesn't send anyone to hell we send ourselves there by rejecting the Lord who died on the cross. Also keep in mind the Lord, he who created all, he who owes us nothing keeps every single promise. He NEVER breaks a promise he says something it is true forever. How many of us can say we never break our word. No other god is our Precious God, our Lord, Our Father.

2Peter 3:9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

Romans 2:4 Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance?

A PRECIOUS PRAYER

After the work is completed on the temple, Solomon dedicates the temple with this prayer unto the Lord. As we can see he also knows the Lord keeps his promises; he is long-suffering and loves his children. Solomon also knows how important prayer is.

1Kings 8:22 And Solomon stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven:

1Kings 8:23 And he said, LORD God of Israel, there is no God like thee, in heaven above, or on earth beneath, who keepest covenant and mercy with thy servants that walk before thee with all their heart:

1Kings 8:24 Who hast kept with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him: thou spakest also with thy mouth, and hast fulfilled it with thine hand, as it is this day.

1Kings 8:25 Therefore now, LORD God of Israel, keep with thy servant David my father that thou promisedst him, saying, There shall not fail thee a man in my sight to sit on the throne of Israel; so that thy children take heed to their way, that they walk before me as thou hast walked before me.

1Kings 8:26 And now, O God of Israel, let thy word, I pray thee, be verified, which thou spakest unto thy servant David my father.

1Kings 8:27 But will God indeed dwell on the earth? behold, the heaven and heaven of heavens cannot contain thee; how much less this house that I have builded?

1Kings 8:28 Yet have thou respect unto the prayer of thy servant, and to his supplication, O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and to the prayer, which thy servant prayeth before thee to day:

1Kings 8:29 That thine eyes may be open toward this house night and day, even toward the place of which thou hast said, My name shall be there: that thou mayest hearken unto the prayer which thy servant shall make toward this place.

1Kings 8:30 And hearken thou to the supplication of thy servant, and of thy people Israel, when they shall pray toward this place: and hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place: and when thou hearest, forgive.

COUNT YOUR BLESSINGS

When upon life’s billows you are tempest tossed,

When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost,

Count your many blessings, name them one by one,

And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Count your blessings, name them one by one,

Count your blessings, see what God hath done!

Count your blessings, name them one by one,

And it will surprise you what the Lord hath done.

Are you ever burdened with a load of care?

Does the cross seem heavy you are called to bear?

Count your many blessings, every doubt will fly,

And you will keep singing as the days go by.

When you look at others with their lands and gold,

Think that Christ has promised you His wealth untold;

Count your many blessings. Wealth can never buy

Your reward in heaven, nor your home on high.

So, amid the conflict whether great or small,

Do not be disheartened, God is over all;

Count your many blessings, angels will attend,

Help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.

THANK YOU LORD

Some thank the Lord for friends and home

For mercies sure and sweet

But I would praise Him for his grace

In prayer I would repeat

Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul

Thank you, Lord, for making me whole

Thank you, Lord, for giving to me

Thy great salvation so rich and free

Some thank Him for the flow’rs that grow

Some for the stars that shine

My heart is filled with joy and praise

Because I know He’s mine

I trust in Him from day to day

I prove His saving grace

I’ll sing this song of praise to Him

Until I see His face

Thank you, Lord, for saving my soul

Thank you, Lord, for making me whole

Thank you, Lord, for giving to me

Thy great salvation so rich and free

Good Enough?

Posted by Cheryl on July 18, 2014 at 7:10 PM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!!! Good Is Not Enough; The Bible Talks More Of Hell Than Heaven:  Just a Observation on my part I think this is because as people we get all kinds of far fetched ideas on how to get there to Heaven. We ignore what God's word tells us and we listen to false teachers, to TV Preachers who for the most part want our money, and fame. I have heard so often over the years "that woman was the nicest lady in the world always had cookies and milk ready when we stopped by I know she is in heaven" or she helped the poor, or would listen, or helped at church. I have read the Bible a couple times, been under some great Preachers, never have I read, or heard good people go to Heaven. The Bible is very specific, and black, and white, and simple; ye must be born-again, ye must believe in Jesus Christ. Nothing mentioned about baking cookies, baptism before salvation, going door-door so many hours, killing in the name of Jesus, giving so much money to the church. YE MUST BE BORN-AGAIN.

One thing for sure we cannot ever be good enough while in these bodies. Our bodies are flesh, sin-ful, takes all we can to keep ourselves on the right path. The other problem in this world is people ignorantly and very foolishly say all religions are the same and lead to the same god. NO they don't. We in this sin-cursed world are not worshipping the same god. My Lord died for the sins of the world. Many of the other religions are told to die for their god or kill for their god. My Lord tells me I can know for sure about heaven, other religions have to wait and see. My Lord in no way would harm children other religions harm and brutilize children.

Often when I have been out with different ministries people have told me "I am a very good person I don't need religion, or any of that". Well this shows if your trusting in works and in being good, your on your way to hell. WHY Cheryl do you say that? The Lord says that unless we are born again we suffer hell fire. If we reject Jesus and prodly announce "Hey I am a very good person tell a bad, sinner of Jesus I am ok" this statement you have just committed three terrible sins, rejected Jesus he who died for you, called the Lord a liar saying you are not a sinner, and you are proud. The Lord sees your goodness as filthy rags, would you wash your brand new car with a filty rag?

Many People have slid into the new-age way of thinking. I am an adult if I am not hurting anyone than God is ok with my lifestyle and no one has the right to judge me. We don't have to follow the Bible that was written how long ago. Well unless the Lord comes to my house and personally makes changes (and its is not going to happen my Lord is unchanging another reason I Love Him), I am going to stick by his word. People in this new age way of doing things have really blasphemed my Lord saying such things as "I think the Lord is ok with my gay marriage" "I know the Lord understands why I had an abortion" "the Lord is happy for me that I divorced my abusive husband and found the man of my dreams" These statements I personally have heard and many more and it is sad that people will say and believe this about my Precious Lord who would never be ok with any filth and commandanments he gave us not to break.

Our Lesson: The days are short. The time is at hand. If you're a child of God, stop finding excuses not to serve; get on fire to get the gospel to the lost. If you have never trusted Jesus as your Saviour, WHAT ARE YOU WAITING FOR? We never know when Our soul will be required to leave this earth. Unlike some false religions teach; no purgatory, no time out while God lets you get it right, nobody can pray you into heaven, no reincarnation(Thank the Lord), It is here: close our eyes open them in Heaven or Hell.

Matthew 7:12 Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them: for this is the law and the prophets.

Matthew 7:13 Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Matthew 7:14 Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew 7:15 Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 7:16 Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Romans 1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

Romans 1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.

Romans 1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

John 14:7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.

Galations 3:24 Wherefore the law was our schoolmaster to bring us unto Christ, that we might be justified by faith.

Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;

Romans 3:24 Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus:

Romans 3:25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;

Romans 3:26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.

John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.

John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

John 3:17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

John 3:19 And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

John 3:20 For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved.

John 3:21 But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

Cheryl

LOVE FOUND A WAY

Wonderful love that rescued me, sunk deep in sin,

Guilty and vile as I could be—no hope within;

When every ray of light had fled, O glorious day!

Raising my soul from out the dead, love found a way.

Love found a way, to redeem my soul,

Love found a way, that could make me whole.

Love sent my Lord to the cross of shame,

Love found a way, O praise His holy Name!

Love brought my Savior here to die on Calvary,

For such a sinful wretch as I, how can it be?

Love bridged the gulf ’twixt me and Heav’n, taught me to pray,

I am redeemed, set free, forgiv’n, love found a way.

Love opened wide the gates of light to Heav’n’s domain,

Where in eternal power and might Jesus shall reign.

Love lifted me from depths of woe to endless day,

There was no help in earth below; love found a way.

GLORY TO HIS NAME

Down at the cross where my Savior died,

Down where for cleansing from sin I cried,

There to my heart was the blood applied;

Glory to His Name!

Glory to His Name, glory to His Name:

There to my heart was the blood applied;

Glory to His Name!

I am so wondrously saved from sin,

Jesus so sweetly abides within;

There at the cross where He took me in;

Glory to His Name!

Oh, precious fountain that saves from sin,

I am so glad I have entered in;

There Jesus saves me and keeps me clean;

Glory to His Name!

Come to this fountain so rich and sweet,

Cast thy poor soul at the Savior’s feet;

Plunge in today, and be made complete;

Glory to His Name!

Wavering?

Posted by Cheryl on July 17, 2014 at 7:25 PM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning~~~~Have A Wonderful Day~~~~Faith? Wavering Faith: If we believe that the Lord is who He says He is and will do what He has promised, why do so many of us constantly waver in our prayers? Instead of holding onto bold faith, we come to the Lord hoping, questing, even out right doubting, He will hear us and answer our requests let alone answer them. If this is how we insist on going to him in prayer maybe you need to get your attitude adjusted before your next prayer time. With this type of thinking, we may not receive anything from Him.

One reason we are so prone to doubt is that we fail to see or acknowledge the Lord at work in our circumstances. We asked, and nothing happened immediatly or maybe we feel like we gave it enough time. I know you have heard this often, our time is not the Lord's time.Maybe some have watched too many Disney movies well we have no fairy godmother going to appear and wave a wand and all will change in a instant that is magic and wrong in God's word. He sees past, present, and future and knows the right time for every answer.Just because we may not see it, after we pray and sometimes before the lord is already taking care of it he sees past, present, future, he is working all out for his glory, and honour and for our best.

Another cause for uncertainty is ignorance. If we don’t know or question the Lord ways, and answers, we will be disappointed in His response. All too often our prayers are accompanied by expectations of how He will work, and what we want and how WE WANT IT. When He fails to intervene according to our timetable or our way, we start to doubt. However placing our faith in the Lord and trusting in His good and perfect ways gives us stability as we wait for His answer.

To overcome doubts, spend time in the Word to learn God’s principles and ways. Then you’ll begin to grasp what He wants to achieve in your life and how He goes about it. Examine your past from a biblical perspective—faith will grow as you see the unexpected ways He answered your prayers.

Our Lesson: Some of us want the very best right? Well having it the Lord's ways is having the very best. Remember we are here for his Glory, and not for ourself.

James 1:5 If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.

James 1:6 But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed.

James 1:7 For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord.

James 1:8 A double minded man is unstable in all his ways.

James 1:9 Let the brother of low degree rejoice in that he is exalted:

James 1:10 But the rich, in that he is made low: because as the flower of the grass he shall pass away.

James 1:11 For the sun is no sooner risen with a burning heat, but it withereth the grass, and the flower thereof falleth, and the grace of the fashion of it perisheth: so also shall the rich man fade away in his ways.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.

James 1:13 Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, neither tempteth he any man:

James 1:14 But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his own lust, and enticed.

James 1:15 Then when lust hath conceived, it bringeth forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, bringeth forth death.

James 1:16 Do not err, my beloved brethren.

James 1:17 Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning.

James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

James 1:19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath:

James 1:20 For the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God.

Proverbs 3:4 So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

Proverbs 3:5 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.

Proverbs 3:6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil.

Proverbs 3:8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.

Psalm 37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shalt thou dwell in the land, and verily thou shalt be fed.

Psalm 37:4 Delight thyself also in the LORD; and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.

Psalm 37:5 Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.

Psalm 37:6 And he shall bring forth thy righteousness as the light, and thy judgment as the noonday.

Psalm 37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not thyself because of him who prospereth in his way, because of the man who bringeth wicked devices to pass. Love

LOYALTY TO CHRIST

From over hill and plain there comes the signal strain,

’Tis loyalty, loyalty, loyalty to Christ;

Its music rolls along, the hills take up the song,

Of loyalty, loyalty, yes, loyalty to Christ.

“On to victory! On to victory!”

Cries our great Commander, “On!”

We’ll move at His command,

We’ll soon possess the land,

Through loyalty, loyalty,

Yes, loyalty to Christ.

O hear, ye brave, the sound that moves the earth around,

’Tis loyalty, loyalty, loyalty to Christ;

Arise to dare and do, ring out the watchword true,

Of loyalty, loyalty, yes, loyalty to Christ.

Come, join our loyal throng, we’ll rout the giant wrong,

’Tis loyalty, loyalty, loyalty to Christ;

Where Satan’s banners float we’ll send the bugle note,

Of loyalty, loyalty, yes, loyalty to Christ.

The strength of youth we lay at Jesus’ feet today,

’Tis loyalty, loyalty, loyalty to Christ;

His Gospel we’ll proclaim, throughout the world’s domain,

Of loyalty, loyalty, yes, loyalty to Christ.

WHO IS ON THE LORD'S SIDE

Who is on the Lord’s side?

Who will serve the King?

Who will be His helpers,

Other lives to bring?

Who will leave the world’s side?

Who will face the foe?

Who is on the Lord’s side?

Who for Him will go?

By Thy grand redemption,

By Thy grace divine,

We are on the Lord’s side;

Savior, we are Thine.

Not for weight of glory,

Not for crown and palm,

Enter we the army,

Raise the warrior psalm;

But for love that claimeth

Lives for whom He died;

He whom Jesus nameth

Must be on His side.

Jesus, Thou hast bought us,

Not with gold or gem,

But with Thine own life-blood,

For Thy diadem;

With Thy blessing filling

Each who comes to Thee,

Thou hast made us willing,

Thou hast made us free.

Fierce may be the conflict,

Strong may be the foe,

But the King’s own army

None can overthrow.

Round His standard ranging

Victory is secure,

For His truth unchanging

Makes the triumph sure.

Chosen to be soldiers

In an alien land:

Chosen, called, and faithful,

For our Captain’s band;

In the service royal

Let us not grow cold;

Let us be right loyal,

Noble, true, and bold.

WISDOM

Good Morning~~~~Have A Wonderful Day~~~~One Wish

If The Lord Asked What You Want; If you had been in Solomon's place when the LORD asked

Him him that one night " Ask what I shall give thee." He could ask for health, wealth,

and power, King Solomon asked for wisdom. Why would anyone pick wisdom over

wealth? Over health? I know, since being so sick, some days not able to walk, I

Realize how important our health is.

Why is wisdom worth so much? Why should we care so much about it. Well, first of all, look where it is coming from wisdom coming from our heavenly Father is priceless, I am not talking about wisdom from the local College, from Yale, from Notre Dame, to say that wisdom is worth so much, because it is from the Father and is the product of the spirit. The Lord wants you to be wise! The Lord isn't in the business of keeping His wisdom locked away from us; any more than good parents want their children to be ignorant. You need wisdom in choosing a school, in selecting a career, in finding a mate, in making any decision and God is prepared to pour it out!

When we come before our Father and ask Him for wisdom, He is placed just as He was when Solomon did, so why not start now! When we ask him for growth, for cleansing, anything that is going to bring us closer to him he is well pleased with us.

To sit back and say I don't understand the Lord has the gift of wisdom for others so I will vegetate in my own little world is not pleasing to him. Some I have heard say wisdom is only for the Pastor and the Deacon so he can answer everyones questions; it's up to them to fill me in. The reason the Pastor is the Pastor is so he can study 24-7 and be there 24-7 and answer every question. I would like to see a book, and verse for that. Keep in mind some Pastors work two full time jobs, one to support their family and two being the Pastor. How would you feel if you sit down to dinner every night and your phone rings, someone asks you "Pastor Did Noah have a Belly button." I am being silly but this happens much more than it should. Sure, if there is a hospital call, a sickness, something urgent our Pastor wants to know and they will be there. However, just as Solomon chose wisdom we need to pray and ask for Wisdom. The bible tells us to study the word to know the Bible for ourselves.

We need to Please the Lord and how exciting when we do know what the Lord is saying all by ourselves. I am in no way saying questions are wrong, it is good to ask questions. I Love you All, and Jesus Loves You More!!!!

TRUE-HEARTED WHOLE-HEARTED

Truehearted, wholehearted, faithful and loyal,

King of our lives, by Thy grace we will be;

Under the standard exalted and royal,

Strong in Thy strength we will battle for Thee.

Peal out the watchword! Silence it never!

Song of our spirits, rejoicing and free;

Peal out the watchword! Loyal forever!

King of our lives, by Thy grace we will be.

Wholehearted! Savior belovèd and glorious,

Take Thy great power and reign Thou alone,

Over our wills and affections victorious—

Freely surrendered and wholly Thine own.

Truehearted, wholehearted! Fullest allegiance

Yielding henceforth to our glorious King!

Valiant endeavor and loving obedience

Freely and joyously now would we bring.

Truehearted! Savior, Thou knowest our story,

Weak are the hearts that we lay at Thy feet,

Sinful and treacherous! yet, for Thy glory,

Heal them, and cleanse them from sin and deceit.

Half-hearted, false-hearted! Heed we the warning!

Only the whole can be perfectly true;

Bring the whole offering, all timid thought scorning,

Truehearted only if whole-hearted too.

Half-hearted! Savior, shall aught be withholden

Giving Thee part Who has given us all?

Blessings outpouring, and promises golden

Pledging, with never reserve or recall!

Half-hearted? Master, shall any who know Thee

Grudge Thee their lives, who has laid down Thine own?

Nay! we would offer the hearts that we owe Thee,

Live for Thy love and Thy glory alone

Sisters, dear sisters, the call is resounding,

Will ye not echo the silver refrain,

Mighty and sweet, and in gladness abounding?–

“Truehearted, whole-hearted!” ringing again.

Jesus is with us, His rest is before us,

Brightly His standard is waving above!

Sisters, dear sisters, in gathering chorus,

Peal out the watchword of courage and love!

THY WORD HAVE I HID IN MY HEART

Thy Word is a lamp to my feet,

A light to my path alway,

To guide and to save me from sin

And show me the heav’nly way

Thy Word have I hid in my heart,

That I might not sin against Thee;

That I might not sin, that I might not sin,

Thy Word have I hid in my heart.

Forever, O Lord, is Thy Word

Established and fixed on high;

Thy faithfulness unto all men

Abideth forever nigh.

At morning, at noon, and at night

I ever will give Thee praise;

For Thou art my portion, O Lord,

And shall be through all my days!

Thro’ Him Whom Thy Word hath foretold,

The Savior and Morning Star,

Salvation and peace have been brought

To those who have strayed afar.

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!! Move Forward

It Is Difficult To Be Held Back; Sometimes when we want to move forward and someone prevents that move it hurts. A promotion at work and the Boss gives it to someone else and we know we are better for the job. As a teenager when our Parents say no license yet and we know we are the best driver out there. The Israelites took a eleven day journey from Egypt to the Promised Land and it turned it into a 40 years in the desert. They had been held back and detained by God Himself. But one day, God said you have stayed long enough at this mountain. It is time to move out and move forward. What happens is sometimes we stay in a place long enough we get in a rut and don't want to move forward, we choose to stay in the rut.

It would have been so easy for the Israelites to say, “We haven’t made it into the Promised Land these past 40 years so why try now.” In fact, they found a place they could be comfortable near Mount Horeb and so it would be easy to settle in and stay and not move forward. Isn’t that interesting how we can find ourselves comfortable even in our failures?

The Lord never tells us to stay comfortable in our ruts, he never wants us to sit and do nothing, there is no way we can please the Lord by doing nothing. Sometimes our circumstances don't let us do much, well then we need to find ways , be creative in them ways, pray, send cards, write notes to the brethren encouraging those house bound. There is never enough prayers being said for the brethren the Preachers, the lost, the sick, the children. If your stuck somewhere in circumstances pray.

So often we all have excuses why we cannot go just right now. Remember the parable of the banquet feast. One could not go because he bought a field and had to go see it; another bought five oxen and had to try them out; and a third said I just got married and cannot go.

Sometimes we miss what the Lord wants for us because when God calls we are not ready. During many an invitation, God will tell you to come to the altar and pray and you are just simply not ready.

When was the last time you were not ready when the Lord called? How often have you been at the check out line and the Lord said give this cashier a tract, and you thought "I just want to get out of this store? How many times have you been talking to a complete stranger and the Holy Spirit put it on your heart to mention Jesus and you thought I don't want to cause a problem? How often have you been at the Doctor and there sitting next to you is a table filled with advice magazines about get rid of stress and the Holy Spirit says leave the correct way put a tract there and we don't bother?

Don't allow yourself to be held back. Time is very short get up and I know first hand when we are in a rut, when we are down and depressed it is not easy. We need to listen to the Holy Spirit, we need to obey the Lord. If we truly can't get up then pray where you are. Write notes of encouragement. Keep a journal. Call upon a friend pray together. No matter what move forward!!!

PROMISE AND PRAYER

Posted by Cheryl on July 12, 2014 at 8:15 AM Comments comments (0)

Good Morning!!! Have A Blessed Saturday!!! A Precious Promise!!!

A PRECIOUS PROMISE;

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:

Matthew 7:8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

Matthew 7:9 Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone?

Matthew 7:10 Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent?

Matthew 7:11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Todays promise talks once again on how the Lord wants to bless us. However we tend to get impatient, or ask amiss and then we get in the way, or try to make it happen in our way. The Lord is telling us we as an evil race, in the flesh know how to give good gifts; why would we doubt him the Perfect Lord not give better gifts than us. When we have people we love we can take our time pick out that "perfect" gift for a family member, or spouse, or best friend, sometimes money isn't even a big deal because we LOVE them so much. Think of the best gift you ever gave. Well not to upset you the Lord's gifts are much better. Remember when feeling a bit down the Lord truly does want to bless each one of us his children. Go to your quiet prayer area and take time alone with the Precious Lord.......

Proverbs 8:17 I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.

Proverbs 8:18 Riches and honour are with me; yea, durable riches and righteousness.

Proverbs 8:19 My fruit is better than gold, yea, than fine gold; and my revenue than choice silver.

Proverbs 8:20 I lead in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

Proverbs 8:21 That I may cause those that love me to inherit substance; and I will fill their treasures.

PRECIOUS PRAYER;

Mark 7:32 And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an impediment in his speech; and they beseech him to put his hand upon him.

Mark 7:33 And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;

Mark 7:34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and saith unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.

Mark 7:35 And straightway his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spake plain.

This was when Jesus was healing the man who was deaf, and had a speech impediment. As we see his prayer in 34 was very short. Some religions have very long repetitive meaningless prayers. In the Bible prayers that are long and meaningless are wrong. I am not saying to go into your prayer closet and pray for an hour or two is wrong but to say some made up prayer made up by your "Leader" is just wrong. Jesus was a perfect example on prayer and so much else.

KJV Dictionary Definition: prayer

PRAYER, n. In a general sense, the act of asking for a favor, and particularly with earnestness.

1. In worship, a solemn address to the Supreme Being, consisting of adoration, or an expression of our sense of God's glorious perfections, confession of our sins, supplication for mercy and forgiveness, intercession for blessings on others, and thanksgiving, or an expression of gratitude to God for his mercies and benefits. A prayer however may consist of a single petition, and it may be extemporaneous, written or printed.

2. A formula of church service, or of worship, public or private.

3. Practice of supplication.

As he is famed for mildness, peace and prayer.

4. That part of a memorial or petition to a public body, which specifies the request or thing desired to be done or granted, as distinct from the recital of facts or reasons for the grant. We say, the prayer of the petition is that the petitioner may be discharged from arrest.

THE SOLID ROCK

My hope is built on nothing less

Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness.

I dare not trust the sweetest frame,

But wholly trust in Jesus’ Name.

On Christ the solid Rock I stand,

All other ground is sinking sand;

All other ground is sinking sand.

When darkness seems to hide His face,

I rest on His unchanging grace.

In every high and stormy gale,

My anchor holds within the veil.

His oath, His covenant, His blood,

Support me in the whelming flood.

When all around my soul gives way,

He then is all my Hope and Stay.

When He shall come with trumpet sound,

Oh may I then in Him be found.

Dressed in His righteousness alone,

Faultless to stand before the throne.

WALK IN THE LIGHT

The Spirit lives to set us free,

walk, walk in the light.

He binds us all in unity,

walk, walk in the light.

Walk in the light,

walk in the light,

walk in the light,

walk in the light of the Lord

Jesus promised life to all,

walk, walk in the light.

The dead were wakened by his call,

walk, walk in the light.

He died in pain on Calvary,

walk, walk in the light,

to save the lost like you and me,

walk, walk in the light.

We know his death was not the end,

walk, walk in the light.

He gave his Spirit to be our friend,

walk, walk in the light.

By Jesus' love our wounds are healed,

walk, walk in the light.

The Father's kindness is revealed,

walk, walk in the light.

The Spirit lives in you and me,

walk, walk in the light.

His light will shine for all to see,

walk, walk in the light

GOSSIP

Posted by Cheryl on July 11, 2014 at 7:05 PM Comments comments (1)

Good Morning!!!! Have a Wonderful day!!!! Slander; Hatred In The Heart, And Deceit In The Mouth:  What does the Lord think of Gossips, and slanders? People love to talk about other people, especially if they can say something bad: at work, over the backyard fence, and especially over the telephone, etc. It almomnstempowers us we are the one that has the latest news, the news that everyone will say wow "How did you find that out". Many newspaper columns, magazines, and TV and radio talk shows are devoted to the latest gossip about movie stars, politicians, and other public figures. People delight in digging up dirt it is almost a high to some.

If we were honest, most of us would admit we ourselves at times have had a problem with this sin, maybe when sitting around doing nothing thinking what can i say about someone later when I am with the girls? How many can honestly said something about someone else and then later realized they should not have said it? If we understood the Bible better, we might regret even more of our speech.

If you want to start conflict no better way than by gossip. The definition of gossip is simple, "Rumor or talk of a personal or sensational nature, someone who habitually spreads sensational or intimate facts."

This doesn't just happen in the ladies get togethers. This can happen in the men's fellowships. I have heard of cases where even Pastors having fellowship and a Pastor will start thankfully a Pastor or two will tell him "I am not here for that". Also I know of a case of a Pastor candidating and unfortutuantly against the word of the Lord mostly woman on the Pulpit committee and they were offended by some of the candidating Pastors answers (he went by the Bible and answered properly according to the word on Womens roles) they went to as many as they could saying this wonderful Pastor hates women. Sadly some people without finding out for themselves believe these ungodly women.

For the Christian who is living for himself and opposite of what the Lord wants, especially in matters of morality and values, the best way to cover sin up is to attack others who have values, in that way they can rationalize that they're doing the right thing, which gives them comfort and security, this makes them feel they have the upper hand. Christian leaders need to be aware of this problem, so they can correct these behaviors before they blow up and cause mass destruction by spreading and effecting the body of Christ. That's why it is so imperative that a church has a caring and loving attitude,but also the ability to confront the trouble makers. The leaders must be willing to handle problem such as this in the church, so when such cancerous outbreaks occur they can be easily spotted. Just as a forest fire cannot easily spread when the ground is wet; however, a fire will spread rapidly when there is a dry environment. When a church is wet with love and caring attitudes and healthy Biblical teaching, the fires of these diseases cannot spread because there's no fuel to spread them. Us in the congregation can't be enablers. If someone approaches you with some news that starts with "Did you hear about Sister.....or Brother...".say no and I don't believe i want to unless we are going to pray for them without the details.

If you have this sin issue get help, if its serious talk to the Pastor, or someone you can trust to pray for you and with you. If you know someone with this problem go talk to that person. This is not a little thing, lives can be destroyed, Churches can be destroyed, the Lord hates this sin. I know people that were seriously hurt over gossip, the tongue is very difficult to tame, and it can destroy in seconds.

The Word of God is clear; gossip will corrupt the whole person! The impact we should feel from these verses should bring us down to our knees. Gossip is so inviting. How often have I found myself slipping with my tongue, without the intention of doing any harm. Yet it has!

Our Lesson: When we have a clear view of gossip's "geniuses:" how gossip comes about, and how it destroys, then we can be better at protecting others from the harm that we may cause.

James 3:4 Behold also the ships, which though they be so great, and are driven of fierce winds, yet are they turned about with a very small helm, whithersoever the governor listeth.

James 3:5 Even so the tongue is a little member, and boasteth great things. Behold, how great a matter a little fire kindleth!

James 3:6 And the tongue is a fire, a world of iniquity: so is the tongue among our members, that it defileth the whole body, and setteth on fire the course of nature; and it is set on fire of hell.

Psalm 5:8 Lead me, O LORD, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.

Psalm 5:9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.

Psalm 109:2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.

Psalm 109:3 They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.

Psalm 120:2 Deliver my soul, O LORD, from lying lips, and from a deceitful tongue.

Psalm 120:3 What shall be given unto thee? or what shall be done unto thee, thou false tongue?

Proverbs 10:18 He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool.

Proverbs 10:19 In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.

Proverbs 10:20 The tongue of the just is as choice silver: the heart of the wicked is little worth.

Proverbs 10:21 The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.

James 1:25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed.

James 1:26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain.

James 1:27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.

I SURRENDER ALL

All to Jesus, I surrender;

All to Him I freely give;

I will ever love and trust Him,

In His presence daily live.

I surrender all, I surrender all,

All to Thee, my blessèd Savior,

I surrender all.

All to Jesus I surrender;

Humbly at His feet I bow,

Worldly pleasures all forsaken;

Take me, Jesus, take me now.

All to Jesus, I surrender;

Make me, Savior, wholly Thine;

Let me feel the Holy Spirit,

Truly know that Thou art mine.

All to Jesus, I surrender;

Lord, I give myself to Thee;

Fill me with Thy love and power;

Let Thy blessing fall on me.

All to Jesus I surrender;

Now I feel the sacred flame.

O the joy of full salvation!

Glory, glory, to His Name!

ALL FOR JESUS

All for Jesus, all for Jesus!

All my being’s ransomed powers:

All my thoughts and words and doings,

All my days and all my hours.

All for Jesus! All for Jesus!

All my days and all my hours;

All for Jesus! All for Jesus!

All my days and all my hours.

Let my hands perform His bidding,

Let my feet run in His ways;

Let my eyes see Jesus only,

Let my lips speak forth His praise.

Worldlings prize their gems of beauty,

Cling to gilded toys of dust,

Boast of wealth and fame and pleasure;

Only Jesus will I trust.

Since my eyes were fixed on Jesus,

I’ve lost sight of all beside;

So enchained my spirit’s vision,

Looking at the Crucified.

Oh, what wonder! how amazing!

Jesus, glorious King of kings,

Deigns to call me His belovèd,

Lets me rest beneath His wings.

THE RIGHT PATH

Posted by Cheryl on July 10, 2014 at 6:40 AM Comments comments (1)

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!! Right Path; The Lord's Pathway:  Although the Lord showers His goodness on all his children, the ability to perceive and enjoy it is limited by a refusal to reverence Him as our heavenly Father. To experience the fullness of His kindness, love, blessings. We must honor Him by choosing His pathway of submission and obedience. The Lord will never withhold good from those who walk uprightly with Him. He does give perfect gifts to us his children.

In love and wisdom, the Father has specifically designed a pathway for each of us His children. Because no two people are alike, each path will look different. What may be best for one person may not be good for another. Comparison of God’s ways in different lives will lead only to discouragement and misjudgment. Keep in mind and I know this is a tough concept for many the Lord never said life will be equal. So when people get angry because Billy got a candy bar but Timmy got a sticker don't cause a fuss, the Lord said them things will happen. We have neither the wisdom nor the eternal perspective to understand why the Lord leads some people down paths of pain and hardship, but we can know that He is always good. The Lord can bring BEAUTIFUL things from painful times, and i have seen it with my very own eyes.

Every step on the Lord's pathway represents a deliberate choice to follow Him. By looking around instead of fixing our eyes on Jesus, we may start thinking that we are missing out on some really good experiences or possessions, how much time do you figure we waste looking around making sure others don't have more than we do? Just as little children we want to make sure everyone else only has six M&M's or there will be a problem. If we leave the Lord’s course to follow a path that looks better, we will forfeit His good blessings and discover, as Adam and Eve did, that any other way leads to loss. Some of us are "slow learners" and don't get this till it is too late!!!

Take time periodically to ask yourself, Am I on the path the Lord has chosen for me, or have I taken a detour to follow another direction that looks good? To build our own course and ignore the goodness and abundance of His pathway is foolishness. God alone knows the way we should take. If you start to believe you know more than the Lord you have a huge problem and its time to get that problem fixed.Another problem we gt into, we do the "Grass is greener on the other side" I have been there and it most certainly is not. Often times it is brown, stinky, and very gross.

Our Lesson: Stay on the right path: the one the Lord picked for you. Who are we here to glorify? Who needs to be number one in our life?

Psalm 25:4 Shew me thy ways, O LORD; teach me thy paths.

Psalm 25:5 Lead me in thy truth, and teach me: for thou art the God of my salvation; on thee do I wait all the day.

Psalm 25:6 Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.

Psalm 25:7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to thy mercy remember thou me for thy goodness' sake, O LORD.

Psalm 25:8 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.

Psalm 25:9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

Psalm 25:10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.

Psalm 25:11 For thy name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.

Psalm 25:12 What man is he that feareth the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.

Psalm 25:13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.

Psalm 25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

Psalm 25:15 Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

Psalm 25:16 Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.

Psalm 25:17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.

Psalm 25:18 Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.

Psalm 25:19 Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.

Psalm 25:20 O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in thee.

Psalm 25:21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on thee.

Psalm 25:22 Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.

Psalm 40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.

Psalm 40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

Psalm 40:3 And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.

Psalm 40:4 Blessed is that man that maketh the LORD his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.

Exodus 33:13 Now therefore, I pray thee, if I have found grace in thy sight, shew me now thy way, that I may know thee, that I may find grace in thy sight: and consider that this nation is thy people.

ARE YE ABLE

“Are ye able,” said the Master,

“To be crucified with Me?”

“Yea,” the sturdy dreamers answered,

“To the death we follow Thee.”

Lord, we are able. Our spirits are Thine.

Remold them, make us, like Thee, divine.

Thy guiding radiance above us shall be

A beacon to God, to love and loyalty.

Are you able to relinquish

Purple dreams of power and fame,

To go down into the Garden,

Or to die a death of shame?

Are ye able, when the anguish

Racks your mind and heart with pain,

To forgive the souls who wrong you,

Who would make your striving vain?

Are ye able to remember,

When a thief lifts up his eyes,

That his pardoned soul is worthy

Of a place in paradise?

Are ye able when the shadows

Close around you with the sod,

To believe that spirit triumphs,

To commend your soul to God?

Are ye able? Still the Master

Whispers down eternity,

And heroic spirits answer,

Now as then in Galilee.

TURN YOUR EYES UPON JESUS

O soul, are you weary and troubled?

No light in the darkness you see?

There’s a light for a look at the Savior,

And life more abundant and free!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus,

Look full in His wonderful face,

And the things of earth will grow strangely dim,

In the light of His glory and grace.

Through death into life everlasting

He passed, and we follow Him there;

Over us sin no more hath dominion—

For more than conquerors we are!

His Word shall not fail you—He promised;

Believe Him, and all will be well:

Then go to a world that is dying,

His perfect salvation to tell!

Offended

Good Morning!!! Have A Wonderful Day!!!! Be Victorious

Are You Offended Easily; The Bible tells us one of the signs of the last days many will offend easily. I know people and many Christians who offend easily. At one time in my life I got offended very easily. My Mom was someone who offended so easily often times I didn't know what happened. Some will actually fall away from the Lord over being offended this is so sad. As children of the Lord we have to remember we are not here to please people. People didn't die for us. The Lord Jesus Christ went to the cross and spilled his precious blood for us. People will let us down, people will say dumb, goofy things, we will say dumb goofy things, we are in the flesh people are in the flesh.

You and I as born again, sanctified, spirit filled believers, have the ability to overcome offences and to be victors in this battle against our souls. I realize it is not easy. We need to be in prayer and the Bible. Remember one greatly important thing the enemy Satan, the one who loves to keep us down after we our saved, to keep us out of the mission field. He loves to steal our joy, accuse us of not being any good. He loves when we are offended and feeling bad, and it is even better if it is from a brother or sister in the Lord he has even more joy.

Too many people in the body of Christ are standing paralyzed on the outskirts of the valley of victory, because the enemy is shouting out offences from the other side, or from the inside of the church building. I am not in any way saying it is ok to be rude, nasty, or offensive but we need to let the Lord handle the offender, and we need to be a bit tougher and keep serving and not let the enemy be the winner.

Keep in mind some of these offences start very small as we think on them it gets much bigger like any bad thought the more attention we give the bad thought the more of an issue it becomes. What we do with a thought can decide if it is a sin or not.

What you do – People that are controlled by offense do what the Bible calls “the works of the flesh” In Galatians, chapter five, Paul lists seventeen things as "works of the flesh" and nine things as "fruit of The Spirit. He says that flesh and Spirit are in conflict. And he urges us to live by The Spirit and not by the flesh. It is far better to let the Lord handle people than us to hold them in anger, resentment, and bitterness, by doing that we are right alonside them and no different.

It is far more important to focus on what the Lord Jesus thinks of us than what Brother Jim thinks, or Sister Sue thinks. Again I totally understand it is difficult but we have to get to the point where we say Lord I want this gone from my life and concern myself with "WHAT YOU WANT AND THINK MY BLESSED REDEEMER". Consider this most often if someone is offending you they are doing and saying similar thinghs to others. Let your Heavenly father take care of this. I noticed after I hit 50 many things don't bother me as much.

Matthew 24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

James 3:13 Who is a wise man and endued with knowledge among you? let him shew out of a good conversation his works with meekness of wisdom.

James 3:14 But if ye have bitter envying and strife in your hearts, glory not, and lie not against the truth.

James 3:15 This wisdom descendeth not from above, but is earthly, sensual, devilish.

James 3:16 For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work.

James 3:17 But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy.

James 3:18 And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

Hebrews 12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

Hebrews 12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

Matthew 12:33 Either make the tree good, and his fruit good; or else make the tree corrupt, and his fruit corrupt: for the tree is known by his fruit.

Matthew 12:34 O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.

Matthew 12:35 A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.

Matthew 12:36 But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment.

Matthew 12:37 For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned.

John 15:12 This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Romans 13:8 Owe no man any thing, but to love one another: for he that loveth another hath fulfilled the law.

Love,

Cheryl

IMMORTAL LOVE----FOREVER----FULL

Immortal love, forever full,

Forever flowing free,

Forever shared, forever whole,

A never ebbing sea!

Our outward lips confess the name

All other names above;

Love only knoweth whence it came,

And comprehendeth love.

Blow, winds of God, awake and blow

The mists of earth away:

Shine out, O Light divine, and show

How wide and far we stray.

We may not climb the heavenly steeps

To bring the Lord Christ down;

In vain we search the lowest deeps,

For Him no depths can drown.

But warm, sweet, tender, even yet,

A present help is He;

And faith still has its Olivet,

And love its Galilee.

The healing of His seamless dress

Is by our beds of pain;

We touch Him in life’s throng and press,

And we are whole again.

Through Him the first fond prayers are said

Our lips of childhood frame,

The last low whispers of our dead

Are burdened with His Name.

O Lord and Master of us all,

Whate’er our name or sign,

We own Thy sway, we hear Thy call,

We test our lives by Thine.

The letter fails, the systems fall,

And every symbol wanes;

The Spirit over brooding all,

Eternal Love remains.

JESUS LOVES EVEN ME

I am so glad that our Father in Heav’n

Tells of His love in the Book He has giv’n;

Wonderful things in the Bible I see,

This is the dearest, that Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves me, Jesus loves me.

I am so glad that Jesus loves me,

Jesus loves even me.

Though I forget Him, and wander away,

Still He doth love me wherever I stray;

Back to His dear loving arms I do flee,

When I remember that Jesus loves me.

Oh, if there’s only one song I can sing,

When in His beauty I see the great King,

This shall my song through eternity be,

“Oh, what a wonder that Jesus loves me!”

Jesus loves me, and I know I love Him;

Love brought Him down my poor soul to redeem;

Yes, it was love made Him die on the tree;

Oh, I am certain that Jesus loves me!

If one should ask of me, how can I tell?

Glory to Jesus, I know very well!

God’s Holy Spirit with mine doth agree,

Constantly witnessing Jesus loves me.

In this assurance I find sweetest rest,

Trusting in Jesus, I know I am blessed;

Satan, dismayed, from my soul now doth flee,

When I just tell him that Jesus loves me.
