At webprayze, we are all kindred pilgrims in our prayer life journey. Hand in hand, we can take those steps that bring us closer to the daily miracle of prayer. We will at times worship, implore the next, sing praises of thanks, beg forgiveness and, yes, revel and wonder in awe of the Lord. It is hoped with our maiden prayer hosting effort that this website will make available to generation www, necessary and useful tools to enhance these activities. Let us take inspiration from the zeal and vigilance of our early Christian brothers as we navigate through our own viral catacombs. In that same spirit as we engage a medium that can potentially separate us, may we learn to pray in one voice... "In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have conquered the world." John 16:33 Fired up by the joy in Christ's Good News of love and hope, let us raise up the beams of our web parish prayer community, begin our journey and participate.
You are welcome to browse and roam our pages, one pilgrim taking the hand of another, walking hand in hand on the greatest adventure we will take. Our mission is simple! Pray together as brothers and sisters: whether it is to give praise or thanks, ask forgiveness or to bring our urgent cares to the Lord--are we the brother who's hurting, the sister who is sick, struggling, confused, lonely, at the end of our rope, hungry, dying--so that our prayers are made even stronger. "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I..." Matthew 18:20 Let us dam down the chatter. Find our authentic voices. When we make our , perhaps pick up and pray for just one other petition similar to ours! As we spread our wings, maybe join other brothers and sisters to become a prayze Angel! And why not take some time to post the prayer events in our own parish or around us, or of any that we know about on the site's webprayzeregistry, FYI (for everyone's info) & benefit, so that anyone, anywhere can join in prayer 24/7?
Most of all, praying together, may we find fellowship & inspiration in one another & help each other grow in silence, in prayer, in faith, and especially in Jesus Christ and may we light up the candle of webprayze, the might of many voices magnified--viral--lifted up to God.
Day by day...Oh dear Lord, three things I pray: To see Thee more clearly, love Thee more dearly, follow Thee more nearly... (Godspel; Originally attributed to an old English prayer by Richard, Bishop of Chichester, April 3, 1253.)
